Descriptive 1

It's a descriptive I wrote about spring for my school assignment lol

And Imma post all my assignments here cuz I am running out of content on what to post and yes I am an English aficionado.

The parched, frozen ground soaked up each crystalline drop of rainfall, unleashing the petrichor scent that every one of Earth's inhabitants yearned for. Lavender dahlias raised their heads as baby peonies stuck their baby pink heads through the moist, squidgy mud. Flowers of all shades spawned in what seemed like a blink of an eye. As flowers bloomed, so did life. Fuzzy brown bears emerged from their dens as chittering squirrels scurried out of their holes. Caterpillars writhed out of their pearly white cocoons, embracing their new form by soaring through the humid air, making it shimmer and glisten.

It was true that April showers brought May flowers; every inch of the lush green ground was sky-high with gorgeous stalks, each engulfed in a stunning array of kaleidoscopic flowers. Wildflowers grew on moss-covered, chocolate-brown textured bark alongside bright-yellow sunflowers that twisted to salute the long-forgotten luminous sun as the first glimmers of sunshine fell on Earth. Cheery birds twittered harmonious orchestras of joy as the frigid breezes of the dying winter soared through the baby blue skies of spring, amidst its dreamy, cotton-candylike clouds.

Trees bore bright green sweaters once again as the scent of fruity berries and juicy fruits infested the air. Spring was the only season with such a pleasant warmth, almost like the home's hearth. The taste of endearing nectar coated the tongue as bees scampered to make honey that humans and ravenous bears would soon ransack. Very soon, the scent of honeycakes and fruitcakes diffused through houses as heaping piles of sugary, tart cakes were prepared for picnics and festivities. Flower wreaths of all colours and sizes embellished homes as berries vanished and reappeared as fruit jams. Very soon, pink and purple jars of tart and tangy strawberry jam and blueberry jam were stockpiled in homes, symbolizing the entry of spring after the shackles of winter finally loosened. Once again, spring had graced the Earth with its presence.
