I'll start drawing the lineart, and the coloring next!

The bottons are supposed to represent his eye in his TV form in chapter 4. And gave him a mask to put more emphasis on the fact that he's a surgeon, and the type to keep to himself.

Now, this one was a bit tricky but, I tried to see what I can do with them, even if it's still not perfect and not how you expected, I hope you guys will still enjoy this as always!

(Anyways, these are just hcs so, please don't take these hcs seriously!! They're just made for fun :D)

While at work Diligence will usually come and check on you to see if you're doing your job, and check to see if everything's in order.

And before Dil leaves, they would hug you tightly, a bit too tight. Just to show who's really in charge.

They're love launguage would be a pat on the head or shoulder if they're feeling generous❤️👀

Since Dili isn't really used to love or giving affection, you would often teach or try to explain how to show it to others. Dil would just dismiss it though 'cause they think you don't know anything abt love. (Stubborn as ever..)

Would often use nicknames such as: Scum, комаха (Ukrainian for Insect), Freak, Filth, Worm. Pretty much just insults you😂

Dili focuses on their work for the majority of their time but, will do their best to create some time for you. Still will expect something in return tho..

Since they're verrryy clingy, they'll blackmail you if you try to get them off of your back! And so, you just let 'em squeeze you like a stress toy.

Would often try to hide the fact that you both are in a relationship.

They're the type to expect something in return every time they give you/shower you with praises. Or do something they wouldn't usually do around others.

When their at work, they're just as cold and strict as always, almost ignoring your existince. But, when alone with you...? it's like their a completely different person!! Their affenctionist side starts to show, and will praise you, talk with you, treat you like you've known each other for a long period of time.. and it's the one time Dili will actually show that they do infact, care about you.

You don't think they won't get jealous???? oh my friend! how wrong you were.. they get so jealous when a colluege even breaths the same air as you! Like, if Dili ever sees you with someone else, even just seeing them will be enough for Dili to start interrogating your freind, and will start to beat the ever loving crap outta them! Don't get it twisted tho, they'll drag you along as well.

And, this is pt1 of my first Reader x Diligence hcs!

I known it's a lot shorter than my other hcs but, I got school tmr, and It's gonna be busy forbthe next couplenof weeks. So, I might not be able to post this month.

A post abt Leith, and Eddie

One thing I started to notice is that, these two are pretty much "Evil" for no appearent reason.

Like, with Harley, It's implied that he didn't like his home life, and likely suffered some kind of abuse which, gives us a reason why he is the cruel doctor we know him of. And, the fact that he has a lot of depth to his background which (At least to me!) Eddie and Leith lacks.

With Stella, she didn't really turn evil or cruel necessarily, she probably convinced herself that, all the suffering the children will go through will be worth it because "For the greater good??" "Save more lives??" idk, (hopefully we'll get more context on that in Chapter5.)

And With Elliot, although some part of his lore is a bit confusing, we can get the general idea that after seeing what Leith and Eddie did to the company that was once created to help children from all around the world into something twisted and the complete opposite of what Elliot's company stood for, he had to act, and become the main antagonist of the entire series. (I'm sticking with the theory that Elliot is be the Prototype! But, still... he might not. But for now I'm sticking with it!)

So, with these three characters we can understand why they did the things they did, and, come up with our own theories to try to dig deeper into the root cause of it. Like their home lives, backstories you guys get the idea👍️

But, what abt Leith? or Eddie???

I mean from what I can guess is, Leith was one of Elliot's old friends who stood by him while the company was in works. And Eddie might've joined in at some point too.

And maybe thought that Elliot was too kind, and, was wasting a lot of potentional this company could reach if Elliot just, let go of making children happy.. and be as greedy as Leith is.

With Eddie though...?

That's honestly a tough one.

I can't really come up anything asides from that he was also interested in Leith's idea. Or, he had a similar view.. oooorrrrr! He wanted to use Leith and have the company's success all to himself!

...

Now that I think abt it. That last bit was quite far-fetched, my bad.

But regardless! Do you guys see the pattern here???

We don't really know anything else other than what I just explained.

With Harley, Stella, Elliot, we understand not just the reason, but, what might've caused them to think/act this way. What happend in their lives to do these horrible things that they do.

But with Leith and Eddie?? We got nothing! Seriously!! outside of "Greedy and Selfish businessmen" we don't get any deeper information outside from that!

They're just evil for the sake of it. They're both just.. born that way.

As if the way they saw the world was twisted, morphed, evil from the begining.

I mean.. for the record, this game is aimed at teens/mature audiences so, I might just be overthinking it. (Like I always do...)

But, is it too much to ask for some context?

Like, some more tapes, papers anything to get a grasp as to why these two people especially are cruel and evil?

What triggered them in life to behave like this? Did the enviorment the two were raised in shaped them like that? than I'm fine with that actually!! Like, it at least gives us more depth to them as villains!

It makes them two dimentional.

If... that were canon.

Since it's not, we can only just theorise. Speculate abt what happend to these two to become the monsters that they are today.

I'm not saying the two are boring characters though!!!

They're okay as it is. But, they feel unrealistic, not like actual people.. but more so like a cardboard cutout of a villain with no appearent reason as to why they're minds are just twisted and cruel like that.

Idk, I might be overthinking but.. just wanted to get this out of my chest. I've been thinking abt this for a while and, I hope we get more depth into these two in the next/last chapter.

So.. Harley Sawyer is one of my favorite characters in PPT, and, I wanted to ask 'cause it's for an AU I'm cooking up.

My AU is still in a working progress but, It's kind of my version of what Harley's life was like before he became the Doctor. Like, what his home life was like.. etc.

I have so and I mean, SO. MANY. concepts of his backstory but I wanted to ask to see what some of you guys think about him having a tragic upbringing of sorts.

Also! I will get that Diligence x Reader hc out probably at 6/1! I'm pretty confident 'cause, my test's done. I pretty much have only a few projects to do but, I can finish 'em so.. yeah!

And it's interesting that Diligence is considered one of the younger Virtues.. I assumed they were at least one of the older ones 'cause of their personality in the canon.

Random Diligence HC’s from my AU

-They keep a journal that they write in on a near daily basis. Their handwriting is actually quite neat despite their claws…

-Collects antiques/valuable, rare items, and stashes them away in their nest. Ken has ZERO clue where on earth they would have gotten them from as the vast majority of the world is underwater 🤔

-Similarly to Mel, they enjoy drawing! The two of them will often sit side by side, and scratch away at a page in a sketchbook (or simply a blank sheet of paper)

-Alongside Patience and Charity, Diligence and Temperance are youngsters by Virtue standards. By that, I mean they came in later than Humility, Chastity, and Kindness, BUT Patience, Charity, Diligence, and Temperance were all also in their late teens to early thirties when they died as humans whereas Humility, Chastity, and Kindness were in their fifties to sixties

-Dill has the rather creepy yet cool ability to mimic voices perfectly, and throw their voice. So, for example, if a target the Smiling Dead is after is a block away, they will hear a ‘family member’ calling their name… when it’s actually the Death Angel (as Diligence has been come to be called by the Rotlings) luring them into a trap. Dill will also use this ability to hunt

Thought of showing how my insert oc's relationship is like w/ the main cast.

Also some lore dump!

Despite The twins working for the Virtues, Ken and Mud knows them well enough that they won't betray them. They also understand that it's because they need the money to continue their company.

So, when the Virtues offerd a job to work for them, and as long as the twins won't be much trouble.. how could they pass up that opportunity!?

They are given permission to visit their home, The Gaslight Destrict. So, they weren't complaining.

The issues came from the fact that, Diligence, the egotistical yet dangerous basterd became their Number1 customer.. They were sure that Diligence only came there to mock them, but... it ended up creating a chance to perhaps, befriend the Virtue as a result.

Like, imagine if we get a flashback episode where we get to see how the gang got together, how Jack got with them, what each of their dynamic was like.. etc.

I just thought this picture was wholesome, and wanted to talk abt how much more of the characters that I'd like to see.

✨Diligence Headcanons pt2!✨ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Just writing a few more that I came up with! mostly has a lot to do with their life as a human.

They had a habit of putting high expectations on themselves when they were a human (Still has them currently!)

The type of music they listen to is prolly... classical music. And some opra too. I can see them listening to some while they take a short break.

They can't sleep. Even if they wanted to, I don't think the Virtues are alloud.. They can take something similar to a nap but it's not exactly the same.

They weren't socially active as a human, they just worked hard on their job. They were praised, and respected as a result.

Even though they won't admit it, they ADORE praises. I think it's due to the fact that their a tad bit egotistical lol.

They would do anything to reach their goal as a human, even if it meant distencing themselves from their loved ones.

Seceretly envious of others who has a family or friend. But! they also have a little respect to them as well. They were distant from their family as a human.. but, they didn't hate them either!

Their brains are REALLY sensitive! So, everytime someone is waaayyy too close they'll make sure It. Won't Happen. Again.

When they were a human, they were considered boring 'cause of how much they dedicated themselves to their job. I kinda based their human life off of songs such as: Are You Satisfied?, Oh No!, Top Of My School, I am not a Robot, Teen Idle.

As a human, they shut out most of their family, people who could've been friends, and so on. They thought that they would lose themselves if they let lose, even just a little bit, so they ended up isolating themselves as a result.. after becoming a Rotling, they regretted every single decision they made, wishing that they chose a different path then the ones they took.

Diligence might not show kindness towards others, but he does have respect to those who knows their place. And wouldn't dare speak up unless necessary.

They also care for their angel bird, Sedu. Sedu is short for Sedulous, that's a synonym to Diligent.

Now.. I thought A LOT about this but, their sexuality is.. either Omni or Pan. Omni isn't really MY hc, it's someone else's!

Mud was one, if not their personal favorite soldier of theirs, so it obviously pissed them off when they realized that their favorite left what was to them, Heaven.

They play favorites on their soldiers. Dili obvi has their favorites.

Diligence polishes themselves often, they do care about their appearences sm that, everytime you see them, they're metal plates seem shinier than before!✨✨

They gloat about themselves when they get the chance, and will expect you to listen.

They don't show it but, they hate it when someone reminds them that they were a Rotling, Diligence hates their former self sm that they will shut anyone up for bringing back that godawful memory.

Annnnnnnd I'll end it here!

I have school on Wednsday so, this'll prolly be my last post. I hope some of you guys liked these new hcs that I came up with! for our sexy Ahem! I-I mean, interesting character Diligence!
