Hullo all! Sorry I haven’t been posting or responding to asks and stuff I’ve been busy finishing up my semester and setting up to transfer to my four year! Lots of other stuff too but, yeah you get the point lol

Will probably delete if I find it but I need help trying to find a childhood book of mine! It was pretty big and square shaped, it was purple with a witch on front, only the bust up I believe, with a long face. It was about a witch who flew around asking for other monsters for help with making her potion because they had the ingredients she needed (asking vampires for blood, maybe mummies for their wraps? Something along those lines) and it was a picture book with text on each page, and it’s been around for a bit since I ever reading it all the time from way over 10 years ago, maybe adding a few years on there. Got a creepy ish sort of style to it but like, still appealing for a kids book.

And also a childhood ornament… it was about the size of a hand? It was vintage looking but not like, SUPER much so. It was green and had a ribbon to hand it on the tree with. There was a reindeer on it, but it was flat on the sled, but the self itself was like, an actual mini sled, and it has a scarf on it that was actual fabric. I’ll draw mock ups of what I’m talking about but I’ve been trying for hours to find these both with no luck 😭

Tysm! A bit of a tw for blood? General surgery stuff ig. Two nights ago he stole a cooked bone in pork chop and when we tried to take it from him he swallowed it. The next day he started to poop blood so I took him to the emergency vet and the xray showed that it was stuck in his stomach so he needed a gastronomy and exploratory surgery to take it out. So this is his first full day post op! I’m still pretty nervous but I’m a super big over worrier, so I’m just waiting for him to poop and for it to be normal lol. Otherwise he’s as fine as he can’t be, uncomfortable and in pain, but doing pretty ok so far!

Look, it could have been worse. His bullies could had become overprotective of him. Like, Crampleter and his two friends? They become his attacking dogs and suffocate him with over protection. If someone tries to get close to him, they would have first had their permission and if someone gives him something they would make sure this thing is not dangerous for him first. The Sibling Brothers? They become his sugar friends, always give him the best things out of pity and treat him like this naive poor kid that should be protected from the world.

This reminds of that one quote, and I’m paraphrasing here, that’s like “being given kindness feels like the very proof you’re broken” and that would SO fit ford here. Might do something with this actually..

I don't know what's worse for Ford in Lost Stan AU. The fact that the people around him were disgusted by him having six fingers and then decided to ostracize and bully him because of it or the fact that after his brother disappeared, he not only lost his only friend, but also the people around him now instead of bullying him, started to treating him like he was made of glass and started talking to him like they were in a minefield. Between hate for being different or pity for having lost your best friend, what's the worst?

God this is so well put anon. This has some major whiplash on ford since he was only a kid when it happened, and this only further goes to fuck with his mental state. Honestly, the only people around him who didn’t give him the pity card was his family and Carla. But still, this really sets the tone with his issues regarding trust and relationships
