what i need is a closeted aroallo character that went through the same arc i went through finding out i was aromantic. the fake love phase where they slowly destroy themselves trying to think they feel a smidgeon of love. the unhealthy relationships where they just want to feel something but can't. and recovering from that and realizing the nothing they felt through it all was normal and not their fault. and the shocking realization that it wasn't love they were feeling—but loneliness, jealousy, and desire to be loved.

coming out is a struggle and i want more stories that show the struggle with coming out—even to yourself. this applies to more identities than just aro, though
