I don't know how to describe this video so I'll just write out what he's saying:

That is the beginning of an Israeli settlement. And this is the Palestinian village of Umm al-Hiran. Which is right now under a demolition order, in order to expand the settlement that way.

And we are not in the West Bank. We are in the Naqab desert. Every single Palestinian in that village has an Israeli passport. And yet they're being expelled to make way for a Jewish settlement.

And look at the hills around us. This place is empty. If Israel wants to build a settlement, they can do it anywhere. And yet they choose to do it here. Because the only purpose of that settlement is to expel Palestinians from their land.

This is happening all over the Naqab desert. Currently 14 Palestinian Bedouin communities are under demolition orders. And thousands of people are set to become homeless.

This is the most blatant illustration that Israel is an ethno-nationalist apartheid state. The Palestinians of Umm al-Hiran have the exact same citizenship as the settlers who are about to move into their land. And yet the Palestinians are being ethnically cleansed just because they belong to an ethno-cultural group that the Israeli state wants to suppress as much as possible.

November 6 / 7, 2024 - Far-right Israeli hooligans of Maccabi Tel Aviv came to Amsterdam for a match against Ajax, and went around singing their fascist songs about killing arabs and destroying palestine, attacking random people's houses, ripping down and burning palestinian flags and attacking random people for looking like palestine supporters, feeling untouchable. After an evening of this, with Amsterdam police just letting it happen, people had had enough and mostly Moroccan dutch people organised to hunt down Maccabi hooligans throughout the city. One of the Maccabi hooligans jumped in the canal to escape a beating. Passports were confiscated showing that several of the hooligans were IDF soldiers.

The Israeli government has responded by calling this a pogrom and sending two planes to Amsterdam, presumably to bomb a hospital or school in retaliation.

Tumblr zionists are so bewildering to me. They have an inherently right wing ideology that involves colonizing. Like, no matter what argument they want to spin, that's what it is, Israel did not naturally come to creation, it took the British and the Americans taking land they stole and making it Israel. Israel is factually committing genocide. Like by definition it is a genocide. But then these Zionists scroll the internet and find every left leaning group doesn't support Israel or it's like Dropout.tv (owned by a Jewish man and many people it employs activity speak out for a free Palestine) says it supports Palestine, and these people lose their collective shit. Every time a Jewish person says "I support Palestine" these Zionists are antisemitic to them or deny that they're Jewish. I watched a 14 year old who claims to be starting conversion to Judaism tell a Jewish woman in her late 20s she was a fake Jew for supporting Palestine.

It's just so crazy to me. They want to be the counter culture soooo bad. They want people to think their ideologies are "leftist" sooooo bad (they can never say which left leaning ideology though). But the truth is Zionism is a right wing ideology accepted by the fascist state and it's like sorry, you're not fighting antisemitism or whatever, you're just a bunch of racist Islamophobic antisemites who think war is cool. Y'all would have loved the Iraq and Afghanistan wars if you were old enough.
