ju5t777 saves me again in appreciating the art of inking. Happy Thanksgiving to me. I'm still debating how I aim to be more active in art again next year. Color is always enticing (and probably will do a bit), but ink art and seeing my underrated artist idol again reminds me why I'm attached to at least be a wannabe ink artist (whether casually or something I may focus on). Lots of artist goals here between the contrasts, perspective, and especially for me, the line confidence/steadiness. I love contrast, so the suit of the glasses guy astounds me in showing off its dark color, while using careful line spacing to depict lighting off it. I live for digital art, but ju5t777 always shows off the beauty and awe of traditional ink art. I prefer Tumblr vs. Twitter, so I'm always glad you post here as well. Thanks again!

Stunned. O.o Your knowledge and applications of colors never cease to amaze me. I always have a fascination with artists like you, who can execute color so well. Especially near lineless or lineless colors.

As an aspiring hobbyist inker, this is artist goals. Hatching is nice. I usually keep my hatching even, so I already learned something here about trying to use a little more line variation in the hatching lines as well. Your line art is VERY expressive. Not even just the facial expression. The line variation you have. Your line confidence and contrasts.

That's not even including all the pose/proportions mastery, which is probably necessary for your animation/web comic aspirations. You've definitely become one of my UT fan artist idols in the technical aspect. Your style is very easy to recognize as feeling close to a canon-style rather than a super stylized version like mine. I admire that.

Please keep up the good work. I hope to keep learning more from your skills through your posts.

Thanks! I use these Artline pens for inking. I have like 5 packs because they were on the school booklist every year of high school.

Also for filling larger spaces I use this black brush marker I accidentally stole from my art teacher. I'm pretty sure it was part of a 50 marker set. Sorry Lara, I was gonna return it before Covid hit (':

I'm glad to have friends who can do silly stuff like this with Siren Horror/Skull. The fact this looks so seamless is amazing. Genius and so funny. htsan and spookyflavors are truly a chaotic duo. Never change.

I'm always amazed Blueberror apparently has a big fandom. Spooky's one and yours got a lot of notes.

Of course, a lot of it is you're very good at the rounded, cool/cute art style. It matches Blueberror very well!

As someone who really likes and wants to get good at inking, I always admire your works. Your lines are clean (one of my major weaknesses) and your placement of blacks are top-notch. The ability to do something "coloring book level" clean like this is my goal. Seems like you can do this fairly quickly too. It seems very challenging to figure out lighting with so many default areas of a black suit. You make it work well and aesthetically pleasing. I don't know how you judge it so well. Good job and happy 2024.
