Me and my friend would like to cosplay your Michael and Lindsay designs from awhile ago and we wanted to know if it was ok. and if it is could i see what Michael's backpack looks like fully ? Thank you your art is amazing c:

I’m so sorry, I’m not sure when this was sent, or if this is in time for RTX 2015. But for reference to anyone: I’m happy for asks about this but yes it is alright to cosplay these designs or even alter them from the designs. Especially since some little parts of it were inspired by other artists. The backpack is simply Banjo’s backpack, though I didn’t use a ref when drawing it… because i was being lazy… the icon in the middle is Rareware’s symbol; it’s up to you if you want to keep that. It may be worth looking at the in-game version, as it’s simpler and doesn’t have the icon (search Banjo Kazooie backpack maybe?)or there’s the nuts ‘n bolts version, and while many mourn the game’s existence, i think the backpack’s pretty cute if you want that kind of look.

WOAH HOW COOL?? Ahhhhhh this is really cool!! I'm sorry, this was quickly done (those are gold feathers on the belt, but in a hurry to post I never defined it) and i don't really have any advice on cosplay... though those wing shawls that have been going around tumblr kinda remind me of that. Of course they could also be more stiff to hold their own shape, whatever would be better...!!!  what am I saying I know nothing about cosplay.. your cosplays are lovely, by the way, and I hope you have fun!

I started a bit of work on my wings for Lindsay’s MC skin! I’m going off this design by zephyrkit ! Not sure how I’m gonna make these look like a poncho of wings, may turn out just a bit different than the design but nonetheless I’m excited to cosplay one of my role models B)

What drawing tablet do you use?

A small four-year-old Intuos4! (Maybe five years..?) I need those shortcut buttons. I never have my hand at the keyboard.

thank you!! I just use Paint tool SAI, the brush, and the water tool.. but mostly just the brush and its three settings. It’s pretty boring!! The water tool makes things really soft so I use it sparingly. On occasion I will try some other brush but I keep going back to those two.

I’m done traveling for the year and hope to get some stuff posted soon, specifically giveaway-related. thank you for your support!

Lately I haven't been taking care of myself well due to me trying to finish everything at once. So I'm going to focus on that - I am honestly unsure if I'll even have anything to post in the next week or two. (I am still working on that last giveaway, although it's gonna take more time than imagined)

RTX is this weekend, my boyfriend will be in town on tuesday, and work is suddenly emotionally stressful. It's an odd mixture of genuine excitement and frustration. I suppose it's nothing new for this blog to seem inactive but I hope it's understandable.

If I do choose a third, it'll be after I finish the second request. I really want to choose another, but I have to see what I can handle first.
