Hi! I genuinely don’t know if anyone still follows this blog, or if anyone is active considering I haven’t used it for 2+ years. But I just wanted to share something. Today I finished a bit of art that I’ve been working on for almost 8 hours. A lot of the Steven Universe artists I see, are always self critiquing. Saying stuff like “I’ll never improve.” I haven’t drawn in over a year. But after working hard on something, I improved. And all of you can too. If you don’t believe me, I’ll show you the last piece I did, and my piece today.

You can and will improve. Sometimes it takes drawing something new every day. Sometimes it takes some time to grow and mature. And sometimes, it’ll just happen.

You remember that post about the homestuck t-shirt design contest collaborating with hot topic? And how Hot Topic are the biggest art thieves?  This is recent.  As you can see above, I stumbled upon Hot Topic’s website and they are selling a very popular fan art put on a t-shirt, and did not ask permission from the original artist (rismo).

This shows Hot Topic still continues their art thievery.  Hot Topic are still taking art from artists without their permission.  This is disrespectful and appalling.
