Hello Tumblr,

I wanted to to introduce myself and this blog. My name is Rayven and I am the Rainbow Veteran. I honestly haven't used Tumblr since my @genderfluidgreer days. Last year I started a TikTok and eventually a podcast talking about things the affect veterans and the LGBTQIA community as I am a Trans Veteran.

With the ban on TikTok around the corner I figured I'd add Tumblr to the other social media I use. I will slowly be adding my TikToks to the blog and spread information about my podcast.

I hope to have a lot of interactions with folks here and it is nice to be back on Tumblr.

Oh also gotta plug my podcast I do with my wife called Smoking Out the Closet. It's a weekly podcast were we talk about life, the intersection of the cannabis and lgbtqia + communities and how things are between them and individually with them. We talk about this as user of medical cannabis and try to see how the world is as queer stoners.

I have been thinking of reviving Changeling but under a new blog name and also putting it in other spots. Since I no longer identify as genderfluid but transgender I don't feel right using the name of this blog as it is. Do you think I should start a new comic under a new name or use Changeling and restart it over from number 1.

To all my followers and readers,

I greatly appreciate all that you have done over the almost three years Changeling has been a series. However, my creative juices are tapped out. I currently don't have anything to add to the series and I feel that I won't for a while. For that, I am taking a hiatus and I am unsure when or if I will return to the series. I am letting you all know first as you all supported the series and helped me grow as a person and an artist. I am sorry that I can't continue with this project as it has brought me great joy and practice honing my craft. I thank you all for your support and will post here if I will be working on another project online.

I am currently working on the last few steps of my pitch to be published. This is the character design of my main character and I even made the tee she wears an actual thing you can buy.

I have seen some D&D players or even DMs being homophobic or transphobic online. It obviously not everyone but I have seen it more than I care to. I also want to add that one of the people that worked on 5e has said that he wanted to make the game more inclusive and added characters in modules that are in the lgbtqia+ community.

Is Tumblr Dead?

I have noticed since the tumblr ban hammer came down a lot of people have let the site. However it seems that as time goes by notes have seem to gone down and down. There's less and less interaction on my new content. Is it tumblr losing people? Is my content bad? Is it the new artstyle? What is it?

I recently made a character for the tabletop rpg Tales From the Loop. I wanted to make it apparent that Aaron, our dm, is support of the community. But the campaign is in the 80′s and he’s right that not a lot of people came out back then and the majority of those who were out did have a hard time. I wanted to make this comic to show that we have made progress between then and now, but they are only steps. There are still issues to this day that make those who are lgbtqia+ live in fear or worry that they will be mistreated for who they are or who they love.

Day 18 That Time I got reincarnated as a slime. This is actually a newer anime Ive been watching with my gf Jess. I really enjoy it a lot. So my oc is another person that died in our world reborn as a Succubus. I use the dnd ability to let them change their body based in how they are presenting.

Day 17 Air Gear. So Air Gear is one of my favorite mangas, and probably the first one I made an oc for. So this is Akari, and yes I made her emo but thats also because then and now I am emo.

Day 16 Blue Exorcist. This Oc by the name of Raven is an exorcist using Wicca based skills

How did you figure out you were genderfluid?

Sorry for the late reply. So shorter version is my friend was describing how they felt as someone who is genderfluid, "Sometimes I like my parts and sometimes I hate them, like they don't match." It clicked for me, at that time I was hardcore question my gender and had already experimented presenting female in person and in RP chats. In away it was similar to my friend at times it felt right, like I am ok being perceived as a girl and other times I wasn't. I began to research and go to a gender therapist to help put all the ducks in a row.
