Stardew Curiosities
Location: Nestled in the heart of the Crescent Ward, Stardew Curiosities occupies a modest, ivy-covered storefront just off a quiet side street, blending seamlessly among local shops and residences. Positioned close enough to draw regular customers from both the Harborfront and Moonspire Isle, the shop is frequented by locals, mages from the Academy of the Arcane Wind, and the occasional elite customer from Moonspire. The crescent-shaped alley glows at night with enchanted lanterns, creating a subtle path toward the shop’s front door.
Shopkeeper: Fenwick Starfall, the eccentric and slightly reclusive half-elf wizard, has made his shop a local curiosity. Known for his storytelling and vast knowledge of arcane lore, he often spends his evenings discussing enchantments and local legends with customers over a cup of herbal tea. His shop is famous for the enchanting spells that cause its sign to change with the moon’s phases.
Key Features Inside:
Lunar Scroll Section: A dedicated corner displays scrolls tied to moon and weather magic, highly sought after by students and professors from the Academy of the Arcane Wind.
The Skylight Orb: Centered on a shelf is a large crystal orb that reflects the night sky. Fenwick claims it connects to Lumaria's floating islands, helping adventurers and scholars track celestial shifts.
The Crescent Cabinet: This glass case holds rare, precious items, including Bottled Stardust and the Moonlight Pendants—items that have garnered a local following among Crescent Ward residents for their subtle protective charms.
Services Unique to the Crescent Ward:
Apprentice Enchantments: Fenwick provides guidance and simpler enchantments for young magic students at discounted rates, fostering goodwill with the academy.
Dream Interpretation: As many citizens of the Crescent Ward work late or face unpredictable shifts, Fenwick offers readings and interpretations of dreams and omens—a favorite among the Crescent Ward’s superstitious locals.
Secret Features & Rumors:
A rumor whispers that Fenwick’s shop hides a concealed, spell-warded vault rumored to protect dangerous relics collected from across Lumaria. It’s said only those who can pass his “Crescent Challenge” (a subtle magical test Fenwick conducts) are granted access to his rarest items, kept locked away until the “right” seeker finds them.

Politics
Lumariea's decentralized city-state system, where each city governs itself independently without an overarching ruler, presents a unique and vibrant political landscape. Here’s a closer look at some key aspects of this system:
Governance and Autonomy
City-State Independence: Each city in Lumariea operates autonomously, allowing local rulers and governments to set their own laws, policies, and regulations. This setup reflects a high degree of sovereignty and self-determination at the local level.
Rule Transparency: The practice of posting rules and information at the docks ensures transparency for both residents and visitors. This helps newcomers understand local customs, laws, and governance structures before entering a city, promoting order and mutual understanding.
Trade and Diplomacy
Economic Focus: Trade plays a crucial role in Lumariea's economy, with each city managing its own farms, lands for food production, and natural resources. Some cities may specialize in producing certain goods due to local advantages in resources or skills.
Role of Traders: Traders in Lumariea hold significant social status and are respected figures within their communities. They serve not only as merchants but also as diplomats who forge bonds between cities through commerce. This dual role highlights the importance of trade in maintaining relations and fostering cooperation among city-states.
Variety in Trading Practices: While some traders are hired by local governments to represent their city’s interests in trade, others operate independently as freelancers. This diversity in trading practices allows for flexibility and adaptability in the economic interactions between cities.
Cultural and Social Dynamics
Merchant Culture: The emphasis on trading and the respect given to traders contribute to a vibrant merchant culture in Lumariea. Traders often have personal boats from which they conduct business, showcasing goods from different cities and regions.
Inter-City Relations: Trade not only facilitates economic exchange but also serves as a means for cultural exchange and the sharing of knowledge and ideas between city-states. This interaction fosters interconnectedness and mutual dependence among the cities of Lumariea.
Challenges and Considerations
Coordination Issues: While the decentralized system allows for local autonomy, coordinating larger-scale issues such as regional defense or infrastructure development may require collaborative efforts among city-states.
Conflict Resolution: In the absence of a central authority, mechanisms for conflict resolution between cities would likely rely on diplomacy, negotiation, and possibly informal alliances or agreements.
Socioeconomic Disparities: Disparities in resource availability or economic specialization among cities could potentially impact trade relationships and create challenges in maintaining balanced economic development across Lumariea.
Overall, Lumariea’s model of independent city-states governed by their own rules and engaged in vibrant trade and diplomacy underscores a dynamic and diverse political landscape. It exemplifies how decentralized governance can foster resilience, innovation, and interdependence among communities in a fictional world setting.

Lumariea: Realm of Wonder
Lumaria is a realm brimming with magic and wonder, where countless civilizations have risen and fallen, their histories lost to the mists of time. Today, Lumaria is a breathtaking world of floating islands, lush forests, and enchanting landscapes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Landscape
Sky Islands: Floating islands of various sizes dot the sky. Some are tiny, with only a single tree, while others host entire cities. These islands are sustained by magic crystals.
Mainland: The ground is primarily a vast continent with diverse terrain, dominated by dense deciduous and coniferous forests, rolling hills, and stunning vistas. Most civilizations are perched on high plateaus or in the hollows of ancient, massive trees.
Lakes, Rivers, and Oceans: Beneath the surface of numerous lakes, winding rivers, and vast oceans lie the remnants of overtaken cities, attracting explorers seeking ancient artifacts and secrets.
Fauna
Forest Creatures: The woodlands teem with wildlife, including deer, bears, and wolves. Herds of wild horses roam the plains, often used to carve natural paths that become trade routes.
Aquatic Life: Lakes, rivers, and oceans are filled with fish, otters, and the occasional sea monster.
Sky Creatures: The skies mirror the waters with flying squirrels and massive, cloud-like sky jellyfish. However, travelers must beware of griffin packs that can attack ships on long journeys.
Flora
Forest Vegetation: The flora is predominantly temperate, with towering oaks and pines reaching the clouds, and meadows full of wildflowers as large as small buildings.
Crystal Groves: In some areas, crystal groves grow, their magic causing nearby land to float. Sometimes, crystals protrude from the bottom of the floating islands, creating beautiful, glowing chandeliers in the sky.
Civilization and Transport
Sky Ships: are powered by crystals and large wind sails. Transportation is vital due to the vast distances between cities. Even small towns have at least one sky boat for emergencies, while larger cities maintain several on standby. Sky docks are common, allowing people to arrive and depart with ease. Wealthier individuals often have permanent boats docked there.
Ground Inhabitants: While sky-based living is common, many people inhabit the mainland, skilled in navigating the forests and utilizing the land's resources. These people have adapted to coexist with the wildlife and handle the occasional magical anomaly that occurs in the forests. Some prefer the elevated cities for trade and diplomacy, while others enjoy the connection to nature found on the ground.
Tumblr media
In Lumaria, the blend of magical landscapes, diverse fauna, and intricate civilizations creates a world of endless adventure and discovery, all set against the backdrop of a beautiful temperate realm.

The System
The System functions like an NPC but lacks feelings or sentience, acting as a neutral game aid similar to Jarvis, but without any intelligence. It ensures you are aware of any quests you can accept or other relevant information. It appears as a semi-opaque blue screen in front of your eyes and can display your character sheets, maps, and inventory. The System is here to help!
System Points
You can use System Points to purchase items from the System Store, such as feats and other valuable items. Most items in the System Store are priced higher to encourage players to interact and trade with NPCs. However, if you are in a tight spot or can't find what you need, you can buy items from the store at any time.
System Fairy
A System Fairy is a small, cute fairy-like creature that appears before you when you are taking too long to make a decision. Only other players can see this fairy.
HUD (Heads-Up Display)
The HUD is the interface that appears when you access the system to view your inventory and character sheets. The menu options, in the HUD, available to you are:
Character Sheet
Quests
Inventory
Known Information and Lore
Map (currently grayed out)
Known NPCs
Quests and Progression:
Players receive quests from the system, which provide opportunities to earn System Points.
Players must interact with their fellow players and the game world to complete quests and progress.

Character Creation
In this tabletop game, players will embark on an exciting journey inspired by LitRPG books and isekai anime/manga. The game begins with players creating characters who originate from an alternate universe Earth, where they lived normal lives with friends and family. These characters do not have stats; they are simply their personalities and backstories.
Character Creation Process:
In-Character Creation: When creating your character, stay true to your character’s persona rather than your own. For example, if you’re roleplaying an 18-year-old cheerleader named Joy, make choices that Joy would make, not what you as a player would choose. You can interact with others and help them create characters, but always stay in character yourself.
Flexibility and Fun: While staying true to your character is encouraged, the primary goal is fun for everyone. If you strongly prefer a different class than what your character might choose, feel free to discuss and adjust within reason.
Class Selection and System Interaction: After character creation, players will interact with the system to select their classes, akin to choosing classes in a D&D game. Once chosen, players will receive a prompt asking to confirm their choice, with a reminder that their base class cannot be changed without special items. However, multi-classing will be available at every level to allow for flexibility and customization.
System Points: All characters will start with 30 System Points. Players can gain additional points by completing quests and tasks assigned by the system.
Game Start: Once all players have confirmed their characters and classes, a waiting screen will indicate readiness ("Player 1/4 is ready" or similar). When everyone is set, characters will be transported to the new world, marking the beginning of the adventure!
This setup ensures that players can enjoy roleplaying their characters authentically while also maintaining an atmosphere of fun and flexibility. It incorporates elements of strategic character building and world exploration, similar to popular isekai and LitRPG narratives.

Welcome to the Adventure!
Welcome to my world of Lumariea or Lumaria both will be used.
In this game, you and your fellow players will embark on an exciting journey as characters are transported to a new world through magic. Drawing inspiration from series like Log Horizon, The Tick Tocks I Saved, and LitRPG books such as HWFWM, the focus is on enjoyment and immersion in a fantastical setting.
Real World Characters: Players create characters who have lives and backgrounds in the "IRL" world, including motivations and connections to their friends and family. These characters must be willing to embark on an adventure and leave their ordinary lives behind for an extended period.
Transition to Alternate World: An event transports players’ characters to a liminal space within the game. Here, players, in character, will create a D&D-style character that their real-world character will "spawn" as in the alternate world.
Entering the Alternate World: Once characters are created for the game world, players find themselves in an alternate world. Here, they are equipped with a "system" in their heads that provides quests, lore, skills, levels, and other helpful information.
Gameplay Mechanics: Players will navigate this new world as their game characters, using their newfound abilities and powers. The system assists them with quests and adventures, emulating the progression and mechanics found in LitRPG stories.
This setup ensures that players can enjoy the immersion of being transported to a new world while maintaining a connection to their original characters and backgrounds. It incorporates the excitement of exploring a fantastical realm with game mechanics inspired by popular LitRPG tropes.
