hello syscourse side of tumblr! i know the tag can be so draining and infuriating sometimes. i want you to remember that, no matter what happens here, your presence on this earth matters. regardless of your stance, opinions, or anything else, you are a person worthy of love and respect. don't let syscourse get you too bogged down, okay? at the end of the day, we're all deserving of kindness. that means you are too.
yes, even if we disagree. yes, even if you think this post doesn't apply to you. i still care about your well-being. i still want you to be okay. i still don't think you deserve harassment, dogpiling, or being insulted. i still think that you should have access to care, community, and resources.
syscourse doesn't make you any less of a person and it never will, no matter how much vitriol exists in the tags every day. i know it's hard to remember that, but it's true!
i hope everyone has a wonderful day. anyone can interact with this post. please just be respectful of each other!

Note
in reference to your pinned post, what does desirdae mean
hi anon! desirdae was coined here. it's essentially a term meant as a helpful alternative to transIDs with the edit of not supporting harmful transitioning.

are you pro endo? srry if youve been asked before
i don't do syscourse on this blog and thus will not share any of my stances on it, but endos are welcome here because gatekeeping positivity isn't something i personally am really okay with doing on my blog.

here's some positivity for complex p-DID systems!
you don't have to switch often to be complex. you don't have to adhere to anyone else's ideas about splitting or fronting or presenting. your system is beautifully unique and what works to help you survive is more than enough. please celebrate being alive! it's an accomplishment in and of itself.
your parts/headmates don't have to front to be just as valid as any other system, and all of them are still wonderful regardless of how much executive control they usually assume. they are real and valuable.
complex p-DID systems are welcome and valid. you belong in the community and you deserve support, kindness, love, visibility, and care. your voice and your experience is important and valued here.

a system is mid-switch. their friend asks if they're okay, to which they reply, "give me just a moment and i'll be Frank with you."

here's some positivity for OEA systems!
to OEA systems who don't remember their trauma fully, you're still valid and deserve to be heard.
to OEA systems who remember everything, it doesn't make you fake or a liar. you still belong here.
to OEA systems who struggle with being fakeclaimed and harassed, you're always welcome on my blog and i believe you.
to OEA systems who have what some people would consider "weird" triggers, you're not strange for having them. all triggers are valid and very difficult to deal with.
to OEA systems who don't fit the "stereotypical" presentation of OEA, you still belong in the community and have every right to be here.
to OEA systems who don't talk about what happened due to it being "too much" for most spaces, i see you and i believe you. you deserve spaces where you are just as allowed to talk as everyone else.
to OEA systems who don't label their trauma that way openly or at all, you're still an important person in our community and just as valid.
to all OEA systems, i'm so proud of you for continuing to be here despite the horrific things you've gone through. i believe you about your trauma. thank you for being here with me!
you are valid, important, and amazing. much love from a fellow OEA survivor. i promise there are people out there who will support you, believe you, and appreciate you. the negative people are loud, but i'm willing to be louder.

reblogging in light of the recent uptick in hateful bullying. i hope you're all doing well!
here's a shoutout to created systems and members!
you are not evil, faking, cruel, or stealing resources. your lived experience is your very own, not for anyone else to pick apart. i hope your day goes as well as it can.

boosting here as well!!
Hello! Welcome to Plural Rambles, a place where you can talk about anything any everything you want about your system and experiences with it.
Oftentimes you wanna talk about things but feel unsafe, uncomfortable or awkward talking about them on your own blog. This is a place where you can do that with hopefully a little less anxiety, especially since now anonymity is an option.
Credit to @wonderhorror-sys for the idea.
-
We are SOA, it/he, masc and non-human terms ONLY, NO they/them or it&/you&.
We also run @syscord-out-of-context.
We are pro-endo; the blog has no DNI. Just don't be a dick.
Guidelines, tagging system and promo tagging under the cut.
-
Guidelines:
[PT: Guidelines:]
You can NOT post:
Discourse, fakeclaiming, blaming or bashing on any topics.
Anything advocating for external violence toward anyone.
Anything super explicit [sex or gore/violence].
Talk of being actively suicidal.
You CAN post:
NSFW in moderation. So, you can talk in some detail about what you do if it's relevant. But don't submit like, smut levels of detail? If you're unsure, feel free to DM it first for clarification. [Again this goes for both sex and gore/violence.]
As @fictive-culture puts it, "unconventional" in-sys relationships and experiences. We also recommend @fictionfolk-safehaven for this as well.
Vents, rants, trauma and negative experiences to your comfort level and appropriateness assessment.
IDEAS of what kinds of things you can ramble about:
Headspace! Layouts, maps, functions, in-sys abilities, etc.
Relationships! Talk about your people, talk about how relationships form, talk about dynamics, gush about how much you love your people.
Origins and syscovery
Roles and abilities
Identities of any kind
Theories and projects
Special mention of religion, you should join @the-haven-keepers-collective's Discord server to be part of an essay on religion and plurality 🤎.
Et cetera! Whatever else.
Reminder that your posts don't need to have form or make sense, you can just ramble and get it off your mind if you need to. If you've got word salad to any degree that's also fine, you're all welcome here 🤎.
Also, submissions can be as long or short as you see fit.
AND if your submission involves any pictures but you want to be anonymous, you can say so at the beginning and we will post it ourselves, just like on @syscord-out-of-context.
Any hate, jusgement or harassment anywhere on the blog will be deleted and blocked.
-
Tagging System:
[PT: Tagging System:]
'nsfw' but not 'nsft'. Will also have 'gore and violence' if applicable.
Rather than 'unconventional' we will tag 'taboo', alongside whichever taboo is applicable such as 'cw incest' or 'cw age gap'.
Other common or requested triggers will be tagged as [for example] 'murder tw' unless they also fall under taboo cw or 'gore and violence' tags.
'vent post' for any vents, rants, traumadumping or negativity.
All of these will be added generously just in case. None of them are judgements, they are just to allow other people to filter.
Other tags include:
submission, ramble
not a ramble, maintenance, off topic
'-- Name || pro/nouns' for the headmate processing the submission
'anonymous', anon tag or username will also be tagged
-
Promo tags: Can we get a boost?
@funnier-as-a-system @funnier-as-a-fictive @funnierasafictive @intuspluric-culture-is @introjectheavy-cultureis @fictive-culture @fictionfolk-safehaven @plurality-culture-is @plural-questioning @plural-polls @pluralasking @thedailyheadmate

let's take a break from doomscrolling through syscourse for a moment and start a positivity chain! in the comments, say something kind to or about the person above you. if you're strapped for ideas, here are some:
• aesthetic/layout
• name/URL
• writing style
• personality traits
• just general encouragement to keep their head up
• similar interest
• creative things
no bullying or syscourse on this post! everyone deserves love and kindness.

let's hear it for systems with OCD!
OCD can be very troubling and debilitating. it can convince us of things that aren't true and make us question our own judgment, character, and reality.
whether your OCD is mainly about yourself or about the world around you, we want you to know you're heard, seen, and loved today!
whether your OCD is more collective or if it's confined to symptom holders, it's valid and you deserve support!
whether your OCD makes you feel scared, angry, upset, agitated, frustrated, exhausted, or any number of other emotions, you are still a lovely person!
thought crimes are not real! this is a reminder that you ARE doing good enough and you ARE worthy of love!

here's some positivity for systems with personality disorders!
systems with cluster a disorders, you are lovely and worthy of respect regardless of what people think about your "strange" behaviors! you will find a place to fit in and people who will care about you. you're not inherently weird because normal doesn't exist.
systems with cluster b disorders, you are amazing and worthy of kindness regardless of the demonization you face daily! you deserve and will find love, care, and attention just the same as everyone else does. your disorder does not make you an evil person or an abuser by default.
systems with cluster c disorders, you are brilliant and you deserve to feel safe in a world that is often quite terrifying to exist in. you make the world better just by being in it and no matter what anyone or your mind tells you, there is comfort and safety out there to be found.
systems with PD-NOS, OSPD, and UPD, you deserve the same positivity, community, and resources that other PD diagnoses receive! you belong to the discussion and do not deserve being left out. whatever traits you exhibit, you are still valid and you are still worthy and you still belong!!

id love some positivity for systems who use I/me, parts language, and/or don't have extremely distinct alters right now, I feel very insecure :( /nf
Of course! Alessia is going to help with this too. :)
If I/me feels natural, that's so valid. There's no "right" way for systems to communicate or exist. Using singular language doesn't mean your system isn't real; it's just how your mind finds comfort and expression!
Parts language is also very very valid! And incredibly common! Whether you call them parts, facets, members, or something else--you know the truth best.
Distinctness between alters can vary wildly from system to system, and it doesn't define how real you are. Whether your alters (or parts) feel subtle, blended, or distinct, that doesn't take away from your experiences. All systems are complex and often don't fit into neat little labels-- and that's beautiful.
You are enough as you are. Your system's existence, experiences, and words matter. No one decides if you're real or not. No one gets to decide what language you use, because you are the expert of your own life.
Be gentle with yourself. You're doing the best you can, and that's more than enough. <3
