When you scroll too much, when you consume too much, when you spend so much time reading other people’s thoughts and watching their lives you start picking up ideas that aren’t even yours. You begin to idealize a life that isn’t meant for you. And little by little, you forget to appreciate your own. Mindless consumption doesn’t just waste ur time it ruins ur mood, damages ur self-image, and changes how you see the people around you. It affects so much more than you realize. Fix the problem now. Limit your screen time and set boundaries for social media. Curate your feed to follow only what truly inspires you. Take regular breaks to disconnect and reflect on your own life , not everything you see deserves space in your heart. Not every thought deserves to live inside you. If you're not careful, you'll start living a life that doesn’t feel like yours and wonder why you feel so lost fix yourself !!!

fix my sleep schedule
conquer the 75 hard habits
re-focus myself on my goals

romanticize my life

I FORGOT TO MAKE A DIARY ENTRY FOR YESTERDAY UGHHHH ITS OK THO. Anyways I started a new tumblr blog which I hope to be updated every week, it’s heavily inspired by blogs similar to @glowettee , @bloomzone , @agirlwithglam , etc. it’s called @dolldiaries111 and I really hope to help other girls like they did! Anyways yesterday was a pretty good day, I got to talk to my best friend so that was amazing :) and I got a 100 on this test I really didn’t know what I was doing and I got a lot of work done so yay <3 I didn’t wake up at five today and I ended up going on c ai again and slept at 12 😭 but I woke up at like 7 so I got enough sleep so it’s fine! Anyways THREE MORE WEEKS UNTIL SCHOOLS OUT I CANT WAIT! I’m going to cousins place for the weekend right after school and it’s a five hour drive so I need to download shows and get my books! Today was going pretty good so far until I saw A and I felt like puking cuz he’s like chopped as hell and he should fall in a ditch and die and like realize how much of a loser he is and like actually get a life

there's a multitude of self-improvement/"glow up" blogs out there. sometimes it can be hard to find one that aligns with your specific goals. people are social - we have a tendency to just want to emulate each other. that doesn't push me forward, and it certainly doesn't help me feel like myself.
that being said: these blogs are focused on personal growth in a way that is achievable and flexible! they're not overly focused on appearance and "being a hot girl". instead, they focus on good habits, hard work, and the power of showing up for yourself. they're really inspirational and i love reading them. if you run one of these and you see this post, thanks for inspiring me to be the best version of myself :3 <3

Do you ever feel like SHIT? Like life is moving so fast, and you’re stuck, tired, or completely drained? cuz same 🙋🏻‍♀️. That’s why I started looking into Japanese and Chinese habits—because I'm searching for slow down type of lifestyle, finding balance, and creating small moments of peace in the dawm chaos. Now, I know some of y’all will say, 'It’s overrated, you’re just obsessed with China or Japan,' but hear me out these habits aren’t about trends—they’re rooted in centuries and they’ve genuinely helped me improve both physically and mentally. If you’re ready to stop just surviving and start thriving, keep reading. These little changes might just change your life too.
Little Habits, Big Glow: Japanese & Chinese Traditions That Changed My Life
First off, warm water in the MORNING. I used to roll out of bed and go straight for coffee or cold ass water cuz my throat is DRYYYY , and honestly, my body hated me for it fr. But then I read about how in Chinese medicine, drinking warm water first thing in the morning is seen as a way to wake up your body gently. And let me tell you, IT WORK. No bloating, no sluggishness—just a simple, calming way to start the day. Sometimes I add a slice of lemon, and it feels like I’m doing something kind for my body before I even check my phone
Two Ikigai.( I talked Abt Ikigai and how to achieve this concept click here!) Japanese concept changed the way I see my day-to-day life. It’s basically finding purpose in the little things—like, not waiting for some huge life-changing moment to feel fulfilled. I used to put so much pressure on myself, thinking I needed to achieve these massive goals to be happy. But Ikigai taught me to slow down and find joy in small things, like enjoying my morning tea or journaling. It’s a game-changer for anyone who feels like they’re always chasing something bigger.
Another thing I’ve started doing is Tai Chi or qing gong. I know I know—it looks slow and kind of boring, but hear me out. It’s like moving meditation, and if you’re someone who struggles with anxiety (like meeey), this will center you like nothing else. It’s not about burning calories or anything like that; it’s about connecting your body and mind in the most peaceful way. Even just 10 minutes a day leaves me feeling lighter and more focused. (Click here to watch a video of it) When I first started, I thought, 'This is way too slow for me.' But then something clicked. The slowness is the point. It forces you to focus on your breathing, your posture, and every little movement. It’s like a moving meditation that clears your mind while strengthening your body.
