The secret language of flowers: part 2 k-drama asks edition!

Hi all and happy Thursday! 🙋 So a while back I did a post about the secret language of flowers and tried to learn some Korean vocab at the same time. Today I thought that as I've watched a few (hundred) Korean dramas, I'd like to turn the vocab that I learned last time and use it create a set of asks so you can see a bit more of my drama tastes and also it means I can use more Korean vocab on my blog! 💃

So the idea is that I will list flower names below with their hidden meanings and add a question that is linked to a drama/ drama theme. Then all you have to do (if you want to that is) is send me the name of the flower that corresponds with the question you want me to answer! Aaaaah I'm such a little geek for getting excited about this! 😁 Also in my answer I will do my best to write it in Korean and then English so I can practice using grammar and add lots of lovely new vocab words! (Not gonna lie I'm so buzzing for this! 😂)

💐 노란색 히아신스 yellow hyacinth; meaning 질투 jealousy. Choose a character that is filled with the green eyed monster and is full of jealousy!

Flower vocabulary in Korean 🌼

Here is my attempt at doing a somewhat regular vocab list. Words are sourced from naver but the example sentences are my own... (I know there will be some mistakes but this is to help practice my korean typing!) 

Vocab:

꽃의 예 - Examples of flowers

수선화 - daffodil

튤립 - tulip 🌷

카네이션 - carnation 

장미 - rose 🌹

베고니아 - begonia 

제비꽃 - violet

해바라기 - sunflower 🌻

데이지 - daisy 🌼

벚 꽃 - cherry blossom 🌸

꽃꽃이 - flower arranging (possibly my new faveourite word!) 

꽃가게/ 꽃집 - flower shop

예쁜 꽃 - a pretty flower

꽃 한 다발 - a bunch of flowers 

EXAMPLES 🌷🌸🌹🌼

"그 데이지는 진짜 예쁘다!" - The daisys are really pretty! 

" 무슨 꽃이는 좋아해요?" - what kind of flowers do you like? 

"저는 빨간색을 꽃이 좋아해요." - I like red flowers 🌺🌷

"장미들 꽃이는 진짜 예쁘다" - the roses are really pretty 🌹🌹🌹
