watched another deltarune playthough and saw the dialog of susie saying that the other NPCs in the TV World showed her how to fix Tenna (if i remember right...) and i wondered how he would look like .. badly fixed

(i like the idea, if he has a body at all, that its kinda like the robot from treasure planet, thin and dangly, retro robot purely for function, kind of literally like a skeleton, but maybe given a thin hull so his suit doesnt look all floppy, and with the damage from the knight its broken and they just fixed the essential parts (so sloppy welded back together arms and taped cables)- also made him more brown/yellowish in color since his light world sprite is like that .. even if the tvworld one isnt)

i would like to imagine that after machete dies, vasco starts collecting red things. red, like the soles of machetes shoes and the hems of his cassocks, the front of his nightgowns after a heavy nosebleed. or maybe he collects pink things, like machete's nose and ears and paw pads, or things white like his fur. he never collects anything black, however. red like the hems but never black like the fabric. black is too sad. it's grief, it's unfathomable loss and it means admitting machete is actually gone, stolen from the world. but ludovica is there, and she indulges his collections in little ways on the occasion. it's a small comfort, her love for her husband in their lavender way.

I know there's been lots of people choosing Cardinal as a more unique new hero name for Tim (cause let's be honest, him mashing up names of two first people he could think of, both of which are his brothers, AND also a name of a fastfood chain is pretty lame).

But aside from the fact that there's already a marvel hero called Cardinal, people aren't choosing the obvious superior option:

Redstart

Redstarts are part of the same family as robins and are closely related. The painted redstarts however, on which I'm basing my idea, are not (and are classified as "whitestarts" and are only in the same genus, not family, but are still misnamed as redstarts due simillar looks), which would connect him to his origins as robin while still keeping him a separate entity.

It contains part "red" as the RR does and "start", which not only could reference his "new start" but also, considering that the "start" in the name is also archaic word for "tail" could reference him "tailing" behind the clues about Bruce's status during his debute.

The Old World name of the genus, Phoenicurus, could also reference his "rebirth" as a new hero.

Edit: redstarts are also apparently traditionally used as a symbol of change, transformation and new beginnings, which again.

Also, his suit and the painted redstart coloration and its configuration are basically the same

Also, his feather cape looks kinda like the redstarts tail if you replace the red on it with white, which they fan when seeking and "hunting" for bugs to make them come out

The most important thing to me personally with the tv show coming out is that people still have fun drawing their own Murderbots.

Murderbots with their own armor designs and headcanons for hair and face and color scheme.

I’m sure there will be really cool fanart for the tv show and that’s fun but also please don’t stop drawing your Murderbots because they make me really happy.

The court has remembered the Inquisitor as an undoubtedly charming lady, whose polite smile never quite reached her eyes. Understandably, the court itself didn't make nearly as pleasant of an impression on the Inquisitor.

My shot at the formal attire redesign! It seems to me like showing up to a masquerade without a mask would probably be considered a serious faux pax.

I was at a loss on what time period seemed to be an inspiration for the Orlesian fashion - it seems to me like the silhouettes are a little bit all over the place. However, some of the interior decorations seem to be roughly baroque in style, and one can find both standing collars and ruffs among the NPC, so I went for some early 17th century inspirations (also it seems to me like both Josephine and Antivian characters from DA:TV have some 16-17th century influences in their clothing and arms so I latched onto it).

So, to break down my thought process behind this dress:

it's a mostly feminine attire, but with bodice switched for a more masculine form inspired by a doublet. This has both character-driven reasons (Lara usually wears trousers) and practical motivation. It could be also read as a reference to Chantry's clergy and lay sisters' attire, which doesn't have a cleavage.

A slightly padded bodice and a hoop skirt, together with cut sleeves add volume to her silhouette, which doesn't make the fact she's an elf immediately apparent. Thin silk ribbons of her mask also mask her ears.

It's also easier to sneak some form of a protective layer underneath a slightly wider dress (it's strongly implied there will be bloodshed)

a LOT of military elements and implications - from the assymetric plate gauntlet on the hand with the Anchor, through the riding boots, to the bodice of the dress being decorated in a way that suggests armor plates. She isn't as ostentatious as Gaspard in her stylisation, but presents clearly as a wartime leader.

Face of her faction - clear and loud Inquisition's insignia.

dragon wing motif seems to be a signature decoration of Inquisitor's gear (as well as possibly a symbol of power?), so I included it here too.

A herringbone decoration is a Dalish motif, but it's hardly exclusively Dalish.

the tassel piece on her shoulder is inspired by the First Warden's armor from DA:TV, but also the main piece is a modification of decorative chains from the early 17th c.

I've used a screenshot from the game as a background, I like to do it in case of such redesigns.

I like to imagine that Harry/Harriet’s dress up clothes are either:

1. Red robes with gold jewelry that make Harry look even more like a Potter (because I hc that the Potter’s, who were v proud of of their long line of descendants in Gryffindor, favored that color scheme and gold jewelry along with it)

or

2. Robes and jewelry that make Harry look more like Sirius’ kid, especially with the jewelry being Black family heirlooms Sirius giddily gifted Harry in front of Walburga’s painting

Either way, every time Harry dresses up, it messes with everyone who knew the departed members of the Potter and Black families

(I also like to imagine that people who don’t know Sirius that well think he prefers his godchild looking more like a Black, when everyone who knows him, knows he loves it when Harry dresses up in gold and red, both because of the happy memories it brings up of the Potter family who took him in, and also because Sirius loves being like “here’s the Black Family Heir(ess)” and Harry’s full on in the gryffindor color scheme, Sirius’ parents are rolling in their graves)

What kind of clothes would Vasco wear after Machete's death? He tends to wear bright and warm colors, and I was wondering if he would start wearing dark and cool colors to reflect his inner state

I also had thought that he might start to veer towards more somber shades. In reality, late 16th century fashion was dominated by dark colors, if you look at portraits from late renaissance/early baroque eras you quickly notice that pitch black was the most fashionable color (compare that to early and high renaissance fashion from 1400 to 1550 which was visibly more vibrant and colorful). I might be bending the timeline a little bit by having him dress in vivid blues with gold accents, but it's his signature style and I think it mirrors his luminous, free-spirited and approachable personality well. After Machete's death he might've experienced a period where jewel tones had lost their luster to him.
