Difference Between Copywriting and Content Writing | Liveblack
Tumblr media
You cannot write something without purpose, or you should intend to write something to approach people with meaningful content. Writing without purpose is like a human without a heart. Logic is there, but not emotions. Content writing and copywriting are an investment for the business to reach people rightly, solve their problems, and generate sales.
However, don’t consider them the same because there is a difference between copywriting and content writing, making both writings essential for your business. Both have advantages that lead every business to more sales and profits and reach target audiences.
What is the difference between Copywriting and Content Writing?
Copywriting is a piece of content to attracts the audience to buy and sell a product and makes the audience take an intended action. Copywriting triggers the audience’s emotions to make them buy the product or subscribe to the service. A carefully crafted copy increases brand awareness and understanding of the audience’s wants and needs. Copywriting includes -
Social Media Taglines
Commercials
Marketing Mails
Sales Letters
Brochures
Content writing is all about creating content that educates, entertains, drives traffic, promotes any product or service, etc. Using search engine optimization (SEO), a content writer seeks to generate organic traffic and attract and engage the audience properly with their content. It can also be used to establish trust and brand loyalty.
Content writing includes -
Blogs
Articles
Case Studies
Video Scripts
Social Media Content
Copy and content writing sound similar but have differences, and this thin line difference clears the intent of both writings.
Content Writer VS Copywriter -
No, we are not making any announcement on the competition between these two. Instead, we provide information about the thin line between this writing. The main difference is that a content writer writes in-depth content, while a copywriter writes short-form content. This in-depth content involves articles, and blogs, whereas short-form content involves slogans and taglines. Copywriters write copies that quickly catch the attention of readers and viewers.
In contrast, writers write content in-depth by researching specific industries or topics to make it more informative. Copywriters craft humorous copy that evokes emotions and encourages people to act quickly. On the other hand, content writers craft their blogs or articles to make people aware of the brand’s services and products they sell, solve their problems, or give information on a particular topic.
These copywriting and content writing differences help you understand the thin line between both. So now the question is, how does a copywriter differ from a content writer? Let’s check out.
Copywriter,
Writes short-form copies
Their main goal is to convince the audience to buy
Writes copies for ads, landing page content, slogans, and taglines
Converts organic traffic to leads
Keeping up with emerging trends
Develop creative concepts
Content Writer,
Writes in-depth content
Their main goal is to inform and educate the audience about services and products
Writes blogs, articles, video scripts
Drives organic traffic
Generates engaging content to attract readers
Researches trending topics and keywords to develop content
After all this information, you may ask which is better, content writing or copywriting, to pursue a career. So my friend, whichever writing you choose leads you to growth and success and helps your organization grow.
Content writing is used in marketing, whereas copywriting is used in advertising. In this way, both have their importance and advantages that boost sales and traffic with the help of creative copies and informative blogs.
There comes a point where you have to pursue, engage, and convince your audience to take action on your content. Many organizations hire content writers and copywriters to manage their content marketing and marketing campaigns. These differences show their work, but it also depends on the person who claims their skills are good enough to write short-form or in-depth content. If they are drawing attention with their skills, they are the strength of any organization.
Liveblack is a digital marketing agency where we help you create unique and creative concepts for your business that draw the attention of your target audience and drive sales. We believe every piece of content matters to grow, strengthen, and enhance the business.

Writing Notes: Self-Editing
Editing writing draws upon different skills than creative storytelling, which makes self-editing difficult for many writers. If hiring an editor isn’t an option, you will want to improve your own editing skills to increase your writing’s readability and overall quality.
Tips for Editing Your Own Writing
Print it out. Reading your words on the printed page can help you find spelling mistakes, sentence fragments, and run-ons more easily than trying to track them down on a bright computer screen; you can even change the formatting of the text if that helps you look at it differently. Use a red pen (or any other vibrant color) to track changes or edits along the way.
Read aloud. Hearing how your writing sounds can also help you listen for lines that don’t sound right, like wishy-washy sentences, overuse of particular phrases, and unnecessary words. Sometimes a writer doesn’t realize that their sentence structure is poor or that their main point isn’t clear until they hear it read aloud (you can even use a text-to-speech program or ask someone else to read it back to you while you jot down things you notice).
Take a break. Walking away from your writing project for a period of time and coming back to it with fresh eyes can help you gain a fresh perspective by creating an emotional distance between you and your work. If you’re finding it hard to be objective, give it space—when you return to your own writing, you may find yourself with an entirely new outlook.
Keep your voice active. With active voice writing, the subject of a sentence is performing an action. That action is represented by a verb, which is the part of speech that anchors all complete sentences. While passive voice isn’t completely forbidden in a piece of writing, it’s usually a good idea to keep your tone energized, as it keeps your readers reading.
Edit line by line. A good editor will systematically go through a piece of writing line by line, and that is what you should do as well. It may take time and be a painstaking task, but if you’re editing your own work, you’ll need to look closely at the words you’ve written to find any outstanding issues like grammatical errors or typos.
Get familiar with style guides. Professional editors may come equipped with extensive editing skills, but it’s possible to learn what they know. Look up which writing style guide applies to your writing (if you’re copywriting, you’ll likely want the AP style guide, whereas fiction writing will use the Chicago Manual). Follow the proper guidelines laid out and add them to your editing checklist: Are all the commas where they should be for this particular piece? Are words properly italicized or quoted? Knowing what to look for can not only expand your editing experience but help you become a better writer.
Avoid clichés. While they appear in good writing every so often, clichés are mostly boring unless you have a unique spin on them or can integrate them in a way that doesn’t seem tired.
Embrace re-reading. Editing isn’t a one-off process, and chances are you’ll need multiple read-throughs in order to find all of your weak sentences, grammar mistakes, punctuation errors, and spelling errors.
Mind your syntax. Be on the lookout for issues with grammar and word choice. Certain words can change the whole mood or feeling of a piece, and using weak verbs and weak adjectives will only exacerbate that. Make sure your writing feels strong and clear, and use a thesaurus with caution. If you’re not exactly sure how to use a word, don’t.
Save the proofreading for last. Whether you’re copy editing for content marketing or writing the first draft of a memoir, proofreading is the very last step you should take when self-editing. As you go through your piece, you’ll be re-writing sentences and paragraphs, so searching for grammar errors or doing a spell check before your final draft will only waste more time. It’s okay if you spot errors along the way (you don’t have to ignore them), but don’t make it the first step you take when tackling your own editing.

Fiction is fun, but it doesn’t make money. Here are three types of writing that do.
To write a story and leave behind something beautiful for generations to come is a dream we all have.
Some of us have what it takes. Beautiful writing, amazing storytelling, love of people and of life. But no matter how good you are, it’s unlikely that you’ll reach the top-selling list any time soon. It’s too competitive. And even if you did, you’d still struggle after the storm blows over. Or in a nutshell, fiction writing isn’t where the money is.
But there’s good news. If you love writing, love people, I mean that’s a given, considering your love for storytelling. And thirdly, if you love creative thinking, then you’ll make an almost perfect candidate for:
Content writing
These are long-form written content. Think two-thousand-word blogs or articles, though they can be shorter or longer than that.
The main purpose of this type of writing is to educate the audience or entertain them about a subject/ product. It’s usually in-depth and accessible, due to its length and simple language for audience outreach.
Why would this be for you?
1- Good content writers are in demand.
2- The best content written pieces have elements of storytelling in them. And you know all about storytelling, don’t you?
3- You won’t feel lost by the length because you’re used to writing short stories, novellas, or even novels.
Bonus: As of May 2025, the average content writer in the US makes around $40 per hour.
Copywriting
These are brief and have one aim in mind: to make the audience go from A to B. Every copy has a CTA (call to action) around which the rest of the content is constructed.
This will be a treat for flash fiction lovers, as the copy content never reaches more than a thousand words.
The main difference between content and copywriting is the purpose: to create a positive reaction from the audience, usually by following the CTAs.
Copywriting has some storytelling, but not that much. Most of what you’re doing will be presenting a product’s features and benefits.
Why would this be for you?
1- The short room for words allows you to unleash your creativity.
2- It requires knowledge of psychology; people watching will become your new hobby.
3- It’s the most well-paid type of writing, in the long run.
Bonus tip: As of May 2025, the average salary for a copywriter in the US is around $36.74.
Email writing
Email has made a serious comeback in the last ten years. It’s become a go-to for most companies.
Though slightly different from content and copywriting, email writing involves writing for a group of people in an intimate, non-intrusive way.
The main purpose of email writing is to educate and entertain, kind of like content writing. You can also use it to redirect the reader to a blog, a product, or some other source. So it can function as a base for copy and content writing, which makes it highly effective. It’s also more personal, making it great for building trust.
Why would this be great for you?
1- Its flexibility allows you to write in different formats and styles.
2- That same flexibility gives you room to work your creative forces.
3- Email writing is in demand, but there isn’t enough supply. If you’re a good writer and you know a thing or two about email marketing, you’re there.
Bonus tip: The average email writer makes around $37 per hour, as of May 2025.
So, which will be your new side hustle? Let me know.
Until next time, goodbye.

Power Words, CTAs & Real Advice: What I Learned from Daniel Graf’s Copywriting Bible
Book Review: “Copywriting Masterclass - How to Become a Successful Copywriter Step by Step” by Daniel Graf
Tumblr media
If you're an aspiring copywriter hungry for direction or an experienced wordsmith looking to sharpen your edge, “Copywriting Masterclass” by Daniel Graf delivers exactly what the title promises — a comprehensive, step-by-step roadmap to mastering the art and business of copywriting. This isn’t just another book filled with vague advice. Graf has created a results-driven guide that fuses strategy with creativity, offering practical tools and techniques that readers can implement immediately.
What sets this book apart is its clarity and structure. Graf expertly breaks down the writing process into manageable, actionable steps — from understanding your target audience and defining your tone of voice to crafting irresistible headlines and persuasive calls-to-action (CTAs). Whether you're writing sales pages, emails, ads, or landing pages, you'll find formulas, examples, and guidance to write with confidence and convert with power.
A standout feature of this guide is the section on voice development. Graf emphasizes that a great copywriter doesn’t just write well — they speak directly to the reader’s heart. He shows how to tailor tone and style to different brands and audiences, turning ordinary text into compelling conversation. This ability to create connection through words is what separates generic writing from copy that truly sells.
The 100 Power Words and curated CTAs are pure gold. Rather than leaving readers to reinvent the wheel, Graf hands over a toolkit that can supercharge any campaign or content. These aren't just buzzwords; they're tested, psychologically-backed terms that have been proven to trigger emotion, urgency, and action.
Moreover, the book’s use of real-world examples is both refreshing and essential. Graf doesn't talk theory in a vacuum—he shows what works, why it works, and how to make it work for you. From dissecting successful ad copy to reverse-engineering effective email funnels, he bridges the gap between knowledge and application with ease.
Publishing strategies also get their due. Graf walks readers through how to market their skills, build a freelance business, or break into agency life. For writers eager to turn their passion into a paycheck, this portion is not only encouraging—it’s empowering.
Above all, Graf’s tone is friendly, motivating, and no-nonsense. You feel like a mentor is walking beside you, offering clarity where there’s confusion, and lighting the path forward with genuine insight.
Final Verdict: “Copywriting Masterclass” is more than a how-to manual — it’s a trusted companion for anyone ready to take copywriting seriously. Whether you’re launching your writing career or revitalizing it, this book equips you with the tools, mindset, and momentum to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.
Don’t just read about writing—transform the way you write. Pick up your copy of Copywriting Masterclass today and start crafting words that not only capture attention but drive real results.

Talk Like a Brand: How to Define and Own Your Brand Voice
Tumblr media
In today’s hyperconnected world, where consumers are bombarded with ads, content, and messages 24/7, standing out isn't just about having the right logo or catchy tagline. It's about how you sound—your brand voice. More than just a marketing accessory, your brand voice is a reflection of your personality, values, and promise to your audience. It's the tone in your Instagram captions, the language in your emails, and the vibe of your website copy. And developing a consistent, authentic brand voice can make all the difference between blending in and becoming unforgettable.
What Is Brand Voice?
Brand voice is the distinct personality a brand takes on in its communication. Just like people, brands can be witty, friendly, authoritative, empathetic, rebellious, or professional. It encompasses the choice of words, the emotional tone, and the communication style used across all customer touchpoints.
Think about brands like Nike, Netflix, or Zomato. Their voice is consistent and unmistakable—motivational, conversational, and fun respectively. That’s no accident. It’s a deliberate, strategic decision, fine-tuned over time to match the brand’s identity and resonate with its audience.
Why Brand Voice Matters More Than Ever in 2025
With AI-generated content saturating the internet, a humanized, consistent brand voice acts as your differentiator. As of Q1 2025, recent reports from Content Marketing Institute show that 63% of brands say brand consistency impacts revenue growth directly, and brand voice is a major part of that consistency.
In fact, post the March 2025 Google Search update—which placed heavier emphasis on Experience and Trust in E-E-A-T—brands with authentic, consistent communication saw improved content performance and higher engagement metrics. Google is getting better at identifying not just content quality, but whether a brand’s voice aligns with user expectations.
Your audience doesn’t just want information. They want to feel connected to the people behind the content.
Components of a Brand Voice
Developing a brand voice isn't about picking random adjectives off a whiteboard. It involves deep introspection into what your brand stands for.
1. Brand Personality What are your core values? Are you a challenger brand disrupting norms? Or a trusted expert in your field? Your tone should reflect these characteristics consistently.
2. Audience Insights Whom are you speaking to? B2B brands may choose a professional, informative tone, while a D2C skincare brand might go for a playful, approachable voice.
3. Communication Style Do you use formal language or casual lingo? Are emojis and slang appropriate? Do you write long-form educational pieces or short, quirky social posts?
4. Emotional Tone How do you want your audience to feel when they read your content—excited, empowered, reassured, inspired?
When all these elements are clear, your brand voice can evolve naturally across platforms and formats.
Steps to Develop a Strong Brand Voice
Step 1: Audit Existing Content Start by analyzing your current content. Look for patterns in tone, word choice, and message delivery. Identify inconsistencies. For example, does your email sound formal while your social media is casual?
Step 2: Define Your Voice with Adjectives Narrow down your voice to three to five descriptive words. For instance:
Confident
Empathetic
Bold
Informative
Then expand on what each means in your context.
Step 3: Create Voice Guidelines Document your tone-of-voice rules. This includes do’s and don’ts, examples of ideal phrases, formatting preferences, and how the voice should shift (if at all) between channels.
Step 4: Train Your Team Everyone who creates content—from copywriters to customer support—should understand the brand voice guidelines. Consistency comes from alignment.
Step 5: Test and Tweak Just like brand identity, your voice should evolve. Monitor how audiences respond and adjust accordingly. Stay consistent, but not rigid.
Examples of Distinct Brand Voices
Mailchimp – Their voice is friendly, quirky, and helpful. They manage to balance humor with functionality across even the most technical content.
Apple – Clean, minimal, and aspirational. Their voice speaks of innovation and user empowerment with sophistication.
Zomato India – Witty and highly contextual. Their voice is sharp, culturally aware, and engaging—especially on social media.
Trends Shaping Brand Voice in 2025
1. Human-first Content With generative AI being used widely, audiences now value a “human touch” even more. Emotional resonance and storytelling are becoming essential to brand communication.
2. Localized Tone Brands are increasingly adapting their tone based on region-specific nuances. For example, humorous copy in metro cities may not work the same way in smaller towns. Voice customization while maintaining core consistency is becoming key.
3. Inclusivity and Sensitivity Today’s brand voice must also be socially aware. Words carry weight, and tone-deaf messaging can spark backlash quickly. Sensitivity to gender, culture, and accessibility is now a brand standard, not a choice.
4. Conversational AI Integration Many brands are now developing voice tones for AI assistants and chatbots. These need to match the overall tone while also feeling responsive and interactive.
Amid this changing landscape, many professionals are opting for structured training through platforms like a best digital marketing courses in Delhi with placement, which integrates the importance of branding and content strategy into its core modules.
Measuring the Success of Your Brand Voice
You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Here are a few ways to track the performance of your brand voice:
Engagement Metrics: Are users spending more time on your content? Are they sharing or commenting more?
Brand Recall: Use surveys or feedback loops to assess whether users can describe your brand’s tone.
Customer Feedback: Are your support interactions smoother? Are customers connecting better?
Conversion Rates: A strong, persuasive voice often correlates with higher conversion—whether in signups, downloads, or purchases.
Common Pitfalls to Avoid
Overcomplicating Your Voice: Don’t try to sound clever for the sake of it. Clarity beats complexity.
Being Inconsistent: Jumping between tones (funny on Twitter, formal on email) confuses your audience.
Ignoring Feedback: Your audience will tell you when something feels off—listen.
Conclusion: A Voice That Speaks Volumes
Your brand voice isn’t a checklist—it’s a commitment. It’s how your audience recognizes you in a sea of sameness. In India’s fast-evolving digital landscape, especially in regions seeing a surge in startups and content-driven marketing, brand voice is no longer optional. The demand for structured learning around branding and communication has led to the popularity of programs like digital marketing offline course in Delhi, helping professionals align messaging with strategic business goals.
At its core, your voice is your brand's soul—make sure it speaks clearly, consistently, and compellingly.

Is Digital Marketing Dead in 2025? Here the truth
Tumblr media
Is digital marketing really dead? Many people are asking this question because things are changing fast. Ads are getting more expensive, social media rules keep changing, and AI is creating tons of content. Some say digital marketing doesn’t work like it used to.
But the truth is, it’s not dead—it’s just changing. Old methods may not work well now, but new ways to market online are growing.
1. AI Tools Replacing ( Basic Marketing Tools )
AI tools are evolving marketing rapidly! They now manage ideas generation, copywriting, content writing, and image creation like a breeze. Things which were previously time-consuming can now be executed in mere minutes. These tools are certainly increasing speed and efficiency, but some are starting to ask if they are removing the creativity and human element from basic marketing tasks.
Idea Generation: Fresh content ideas, blog topics, and social media post ideas can all be developed in seconds using AI tools.
Copywriting: AI can generate marketing text — from headlines to ad copy — that gets attention with minimal input.
Content Writing: AI can now do surprising quality content writing for long-form articles, product descriptions, and SEO blogs at a tremendous speed.
Image Generation: Design logos, banners, social media creatives, and several other stuff— no graphic design skills required with these AI tools.
Impact: While these tools save time and efforts, they also create concerns on creativity and human element in marketing.
2. Over Saturation of Digital Marketing Courses
Digital marketing courses are everywhere today, making it hard to know what’s valuable. With so many options, learners often feel confused, overwhelmed, and unsure which course truly delivers results.
A lot of people was creating a individual course
More of Self-Proclaimed Experts
Free youtube or Paid course are also provide
3. Freelancing in Low Rates
Freelancing is growing fast, but many freelancers face a big issue—low rates. With rising competition, people are charging very little for quality work, making it hard to earn fairly and grow.
4. Lack of Practical Skills
Its common to see people who know everything but when it comes to implementation they fail which often not due to lack of knowledge but due to lack of real time work experience. Today, the largest problem is a difference between theory and practice — the vast majority of learners fail to gain the skills proving useful for real jobs.
Key Points:
Over emphasis on theory: Most of the courses emphasize concepts and not on practical applicability
Out No hands-on projects: Learners do not build confidence and skills without hands-on practice employers want people to do more than just describe.
No internship or practical work experience: Almost never exposed to a real market scenario.
The skill gap = high performance gap: People find it difficult to perform, even after they have learned something, as they have never done it.
The truth- it is really dead
In reality, digital marketing is not dead — it’s just changing fast. With AI tools growing, marketers now let AI handle simple tasks. The ones who learn, adapt, and think smart with AI are staying strong. In this new age, success will go to brave marketers who accept and use the change.

Access a curated list of freelance writing gigs:
 Introduction:
Freelance writing in 2025 is no longer a novelty side job. It's an established career that can bring flexible income, international opportunities, and freedom. But with that freedom comes a real challenge: discovering steady, quality gigs without spending hours every week on futile job boards or dubious proposals.
That's where expertly curated freelance writing job lists enter. These are neatly organized, handpicked lists of job postings that conserve time, minimize risk, and enhance your odds of securing quality work. They bypass the din and bring to light gigs worth considering—sometimes before they go mainstream.
Whether you're a veteran freelancer or a writer new to the gig economy, knowing how to locate, access, and utilize these curated lists to your advantage could be the difference between inconsistent income and a successful freelance business. Before diving into curated lists, it’s important to understand what freelance writing gigs actually entail—and what separates the good from the bad.
1. Understanding Freelance Writing Gigs:
Before diving into curated lists, it’s important to understand what freelance writing gigs actually entail—and what separates the good from the bad.
Types of Freelance Writing Gigs
Freelance writing covers a broad spectrum of job types, including:
Content writing: Blog posts, articles, newsletters.
Copywriting: Marketing copy, landing pages, sales emails.
Technical writing: Manuals, product documentation, developer guides.
Ghostwriting: Writing under someone else's name, common in books and blogs.
SEO writing: Search-optimized content for visibility.
Journalism: Reporting, interviewing, opinion.
Each involves a different skill set and has different expectations about tone, level of research, and compensation.
How Gigs Are Organized
Gigs may be:
One-off: One article or short project.
Ongoing: Regular blog writing, newsletters, or social media posts.
Retainer-based: Scheduled work and pay for a specific number of hours or deliverables.
What Makes Good Gig?
A quality writing gig usually has:
Clearly spelled-out instructions and expectations
Competitive rates (typically at least $0.10–$1 per word based on experience)
Respect for deadlines and communication
An appropriate contract or written agreement
Curated gig lists are intended to allow you to bypass the gigs that do not possess these aspects.
2. Why Curated Gig Lists Matter:
Curated gig lists do more than save you time—they're strategic. Here's how they're a necessity in today's saturated freelance job marketplace.
What Is a Curated Gig List?
A curated list is a handpicked set of job opportunities—usually filtered by industry experts or sites with editorial control. These aren't random social media posts or scraped listings. They've been screened for:
Pay transparency
Project legitimacy
Niche relevance
Client reliability
Time-Saving and Trust-Building
Writers generally spend 6–12 hours a week on finding work. Curated lists reduce that significantly by eliminating junk leads, scam work, and irrelevant postings.
Tailored for Your Niche
Curated lists tend to support niche markets such as:
Health writing
B2B SaaS
Creative nonfiction
Education
Journalism
This assists you in matching your pitch and portfolio with more suitable clients.
Better Pay Opportunities
Most curated jobs are from clients who recognize the worth of writing—and are willing to compensate accordingly. The platforms that curate lists tend to have regulations removing low-paying gigs altogether.
Free Gig Lists: Advantages and Disadvantages Advantages:
No initial expense
Available to everyone from all levels of experience
Most have high-quality leads
Disadvantages:
Lower volume or infrequent updates
Greater competition because they are widely available
Less targeted towards niches
Paid Gig Lists: Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages:
More exclusive leads
Tend to include other supporting resources (courses, templates)
Niche or high-paying client leads Less competition
Disadvantages
Monthly or yearly fee
Not always worth the expenditure for newbies
How to Decide What’s Right for YouUse free lists to build your early portfolio. Once you’re pitching confidently and looking for higher-value work, consider investing in a paid platform.
4. Top Free Curated Writing Gig Sources:1. ProBlogger Job Board One of the most trusted free platforms. Gigs range from blogging to ghostwriting, with many remote opportunities.2. Freelance Writing Jobs (FWJ)FWJ posts a daily curated roundup of writing jobs. You’ll find journalism, blogging, copywriting, and technical writing gigs.3. Working In Content: Focused on content strategy, UX writing, and high-end content marketing gigs. Great for experienced content professionals
.4. Who Pays Writers :Crowdsourced data on publication rates and current pitch calls. Best for those writing essays, features, and journalism
.5. Reddit: r/Hire Writer and r/freelance WritersThough not curated in the classical sense, both of these subreddits frequently have posts by direct clients looking for freelancers.
6. Sonia Weiser's "Opportunities of the Week" (Newsletter)This weekly email round-up is a treasure trove for writers and essayists. Frequently includes pitch calls, contests, and publication leads.
7. Morning Coffee Newsletter by FreelanceWriting.com Received every weekday, this old-time newsletter curates new gigs from a variety of different niches.

Best AI Tools for Digital Marketers
The Rise of AI in Digital Marketing: Why It Matters Now
Tumblr media
🧨 The Day Priya Snapped (Sort of)
Recently, I had a conversation with a friend (we’ll call her Priya), a very detail-oriented, viciously competitive digital marketer , and this is what happened…
☕️ Burnout, Caffeine, and Crushing Deadlines
She was juggling 6 clients, more than 12 ad campaigns, and a never-ending to-do list. Her calendar was jam-packed with deadlines; however, results were far from what they should’ve been. She was caffeinated 24/7, close to burnout, and then she looked around…
🫨 When Comparison Hits Like a Truck
Other digital marketers, whom she went to college with, were getting better results and faster , which crushed her ego and humbled her, and …
⚙️ Regret, Realization, and a Dash of Existential Dread
she was regretting not jumping on the AI train sooner, which fueled her dark, nonexistent soul (just kidding) to obsessively search for answers…
📈 The AI Awakening
Priya noticed a trend that nearly three-quarters of marketers have embraced AI tools to enhance their workflows. And coincidentally , at the same time, she read a blog that the percentage of marketers using AI tools in their roles increased from 21% to 74%, marking a 2.5-fold rise within a year by HubSpot.
🐶 Bulldog Mode: Activated
She went after AI with the willpower of an angry bulldog on steroids, determined to hunt down AI in meticulous detail and rise up to her comfort zone of being better than the others in whatever craft she chose (with a minor god complex, hehe)...
⏳ Shaving Off 12.5 Hours a Week
She revealed to me that she was shaving off on average 12.5 hours per week of her work, and in our conversation we were brainstorming tools, processes, etc., that can do the same for you …
🤫 Secrets, Sworn Oaths, and Priya’s Wrath
But I cannot share 100%, because she rarely reveals these secrets to anyone;  I can drop only some secrets, which are still extremely useful if you promise me not to reveal my name and keep this information between you and me (and please act confused and deny the existence of this information in the presence of Priya).
Content Creation & Copywriting
Tumblr media
Tools: ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic
How to use these tools
First of all, this blog is not sponsored by any of these tools. Let's begin.
⏳ The Copywriting Time Sink — Solved
A good copy seldom looks like a good copy in the beginning. A good copy is a Frankenstein monster created over time. This time is related to researching before putting pen to paper; however, this part can be handled by ChatGPT now, making it ridiculously efficient.
🔍 Step One: Spy Before You Write
Before even writing the content, the first step is to do keyword research on the topic and look at existing competitors' blogs. You can do this using ChatGPT. After that, search for stats corresponding to the content.
💤 AI Writes... but It’s Also Boring (By Default)
Make sure to paraphrase as you deem necessary. AI tools have been extremely politically correct, which makes content extremely boring and monotonous despite some of the prompts.
🧱 Architect the Big Picture. Add Human Soul.
Think of it this way: AI can be used to architect the big picture, and then it still can be used to refine the details; however, if you add your own human edge, no AI can replicate it. Instead of 100% relying on AI, we're using AI to create content that hits so precisely, it scratches an itch in your prospect's skull they didn’t even know was there.
List of prompts are :
🔎Prompt for Competitor Blog Analysis (via ChatGPT)
Prompt:
“I’m a content creator writing a blog on [insert topic]. Analyze the top 3–5 ranking blogs for this topic. Identify their structure, tone, style, and unique angles. Highlight similarities, differences, content gaps, and opportunities to outperform them. Present the analysis in a table comparing blog titles, word count, headlines, CTAs, tone of voice, and SEO strategy.”
📊 Prompt to Find Authoritative Stats for a Paragraph
Prompt:
“Here is a paragraph I’ve written for my blog:
[Paste paragraph]
Please find 2–3 recent, authoritative statistics (from 2022–2025) to back up the main ideas in this paragraph. Provide the stat, the original source, and a sentence that integrates the stat naturally into the content. Ensure the sources are credible (e.g., McKinsey, HubSpot, Gartner, Statista).”
🧱 Prompt to Generate Content Outline Based on Competitor Blogs
Prompt:
“I want to create a blog post titled: [Insert your title]. Please analyze the top-ranking competitor blogs for this topic and generate a detailed content outline. The outline should reflect what is working well in SERPs (structure, sections, questions addressed) and incorporate improvements like added depth, examples, or unique angles. Keep it SEO-friendly and logical for both readers and search engines.”
✍️Prompt to Use Jasper for AI Blog Writing
Prompt for Jasper (in Boss Mode):
“Write a 1,200-word blog on [insert topic] targeted at [audience]. Use a confident yet approachable tone. Include an attention-grabbing intro, subheadings with SEO keywords, and actionable takeaways. Make it engaging, backed by data, and optimized for search intent. Add a compelling CTA at the end.”
Disclaimer: Always check via multiple AI detection algorithms. I can't name any because they go out of business and get replaced all the time. Just a simple Google search would suffice .
🎯 Prompt to Use Copy.ai for Ad Copy, Hooks, and Short-Form Content
Prompt for Copy.ai:
“Generate 5 headline variations, 3 email subject lines, and 3 social media captions for a blog titled: [insert title]. The audience is [target audience]. The tone should be energetic, persuasive, and curiosity-driven. Focus on pain points and benefits.”
⚡Prompt to Use Writesonic for Fast Drafting and SEO Meta Content
Prompt for Writesonic:
“Create an SEO-optimized blog draft on [insert topic] with the following structure: Introduction, 3–4 body sections, and Conclusion with a CTA. Use a professional and informative tone. Also generate a meta title, meta description (under 160 characters), and 3 bullet point takeaways for social sharing.”
Building Your Smart AI Stack: How to Choose & Implement
🎯 What’s the Real Goal of Using AI?
Now, what was our goal with AI? To make our lives easier, and that’s where the key trait of organization comes in. I will give you some tips on how to create a structure that saves your brain's processing power.
🗂️ Step 1: Create a “Tools” Folder in Your Bookmarks Bar
First step, make a folder on your bookmarks bar named “Tools.“
Tumblr media
🧰 Step 2: Add Subfolders Based on Services and Goals
In this folder, create subfolders for all the services you provide. Examples can be content writing, copywriting , Facebook ads… you get the point. Also make folders for goals, for example, competitor analysis and audience research.
📚 Step 3: Build Your Own Prompt Library
I recommend you create a prompt library where you store every useful prompt. Every time you encounter a new prompt , store it.
Tumblr media
🔄 Step 4: Add Mini SOPs Inside Goal Folders
Now, for the last part, you are going to use various AI tools for targeted reasons, so in these folders (like Competitor Analysis), you can create a brief SOP, which gives you a high-level workflow. For example: Use Jasper to create content → SurferSEO to optimize → Google Analytics to track results → Notion AI to document insights. Keep your AI stack focused and functional.
Pro tip : 🚫 Avoid the “Tool Hoarder” Trap
I understand it's difficult to stop as a high performer, because continuous improvement and growth are our highest values, hence we must avoid the “tool hoarder” trap. And if you are violently rebelling against my last point, then let's scratch the unending itch of yours . Set some constraints, test each tool for ROI, integrate slowly, always give yourself 4 to 6 hours in total to test AI, and monitor for quality. AI can 10x your marketing — but only if it aligns with your strategy, not complicates it. To know more about AI tools for digital marketing, click here.
