My thoughts about the Severance departments (WARNING: SEVERANCE SPOILERS!)

I think it's interesting how all of the departments shown so far seem to be related to Gemma/the Testing Floor. MDR is the most important one, actually working on the files that correlate to the rooms Gemma enters. However, O&D is shown to 3D print the objects she uses and encounters in each room. And, Mammalians Nurturable exists for the purpose of raising goats to be sacrificed whenever someone from the Testing Floor is killed. (Which suggests that Gemma is not the only test subject who is/has been kept prisoner on the Testing Floor. Why would they have a whole department dedicated to raising a ton of goats if they only needed to sacrifice one for Gemma and Gemma only? This somewhat supports my theory that Dylan, Irving, and maybe even Helly are refining data related to other test subjects. These other three test subjects would probably be people they love, who they believe have died. Petey and any other past MDR refiners would then have been refining even more test subjects.) It's hard to say what purpose Choreography and Merriment may have in relation to Gemma and the Testing Floor. However, maybe they play music in some of the rooms Gemma (or once again, any other test subjects who may or may not exist) enters?

Obviously, Gemma and any other possible test subjects are a very important part of Lumon, but the fact that every department seems to exist specifically to make/do something in relation to the Testing Floor shows just how important the Testing Floor is. At least so far, it doesn't seem like the departments exist for any reason BESIDES contributing to the Testing Floor in some shape or form. It's not like O&D is 3D printing objects to be sold to the public or something. And it's not like MDR is refining data for any other reason besides for creating the testing rooms. It makes me wonder why, specifically, Lumon is holding test subjects at all. Maybe it has something to do with reviving Kier? It's clearly something big if they're hiring all of these severed workers for the pure sake of contributing to the test subjects and the test rooms.

Hi, my name is Dylan, my strengths are that I am very artistic, creative, and willing to take on new challenges. My life goal is to become a freelance artist but I have trouble focusing on just one thing at a time. Currently, I am working on starting up a 3D printing, and miniature model painting business, as well as making my own video game on the side. I believe that this could be a part of my strengths that I'm always wanting to take on new projects and ventures but I also think this is a weakness of mine by taking on more than I can chew. For example, to start up my model painting business I will need to have a large backlog of models I painted to sell and to advertise my skills. For designing my video game I basically got to create an entire world of cute characters, enemies and not to mention all of the art assets needed like scrolling backgrounds, and things the player character can interact with like bouncy springs to boost the player's jump not to mention I am hand animating it myself using few free resources meaning my game will consist of hundreds of hand-drawn pictures, so you can see this is a lot to take on as well as going to college and taking on freelance art/ graphic design jobs on the side.

March 31st — Sensor Ligaments, made from silicone and a flat strip of metal, where the metal bending is registered as a change in angle! This technique can be used anywhere, especially between 3D printed pieces of bone, especially prove to be very useful for joints such as the elbows and knees. We also have some photos of the in-development Muscle Fabricator!

Warning on this one for female nudity! Meike Hakkaart is an amazing artist, it's a shame how recently I discovered them. This particular pin is inspired by a piece of pottery! Please note, this shop is based in the Netherlands and the descriptions are not in English, I used Google's automatic translation to understand the words. Anyway, again, their art is absolutely gorgeous!

This is a really cool sticker by Jennette Brown! I first found their shop through Etsy, but the link here is to their website, as it has a lot more options for fandom-related stuff, and their Etsy shop is slowly being phased out. I'm planning on purchasing some Doctor Who stickers from them!

DarkFutureShop is a pretty interesting little Etsy shop! Oliver Bindel has a lot of dieselpunk and post-apocalyptic items, mostly clothing and wearable accessories like gloves. These specific gloves are a good gear item, and they do have a seperate listing for kid sizes. Please note they do have a bloody claw option if you look through the images!

Again, another seller i don't know a whole lot about. Their shop is full of high-quality 3D prints, and it seems like they have the licenses to sell prints of all of the designs. They have both PLA plastic and resin print options available.

I've been lookat at Luke Wardle's work on Etsy for a while now. They have some beautiful skull replicas, and if they weren't so expensive (though most likely worth the price) I would have absolutely purchased from them by now. They are based in Australia but have free worldwide shipping!

((I am taking Minecraft skin requests until January 16! (limited to current mutuals). Details and examples of my work below the cut!

TL;DR: If you’re someone I at least sorta know and are reasonable, I’ll make you up to two cute 3D pixel arts of pretty much anything you could want that can be used to change a Minecraft player’s appearance, used in a Minecraft wallpaper, or even used to make a papercraft!

Rules:

Requests are not commissions; do not treat them as such. I won’t make any changes to finished skins (though you are welcome edit them yourself) and I won’t necessarily work quickly. I have no obligation to make free skins again and won’t respond if pressured to do so. I also reserve the right to deny a request for any reason.

You must have been a mutural before I posted this; I do not want random people using me to get free stuff

Limit two skin requests per person

Must have references or a very detailed description (references are ideal as I might make mistakes with only a description)

PG 13 skins of fictional people only

Simple-to-moderately-complex, humanoid characters with few (if any) protruding features work the best, but you aren’t limited to them

You do not have to have a Minecraft account to request! I think of skins more as specialized pixel art form and will happily make them for anyone. You are also not required to use them even if you do have an account

Questions of Project 3

These are roughly structured questions. It hasn't been completely trimmed yet, but it has drawn up a rough outline to produce a collage animation. After that, more than five complete questions will be selected. Before making an animation, I will draw some storyboards and research about the materials.

1.What is Art to you? Art is all you can get out of your daily routine and is what you can get away with. Making money is art. And working is art. And good business is the best art.

2.Do you not clean up? (Time capsule items appear to be trash to me) What are you talking about? I just organised it. Don't touch it!! Never filter! These are my precious inspirational materials. That's TC 528! Don't touch anything. It's more confusing.

Q.What? There are 528 boxes like this? No, actually,...I think it's over 600. Anyway, who are you? and why are you bothering me?

3. Which of the modern techniques are you interested in? Recently, I became interested in a platform called YouTube. "In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." No, I'm tired of saying this. Now I have to say "Everyone will be famous in 15 minutes." These days, anyone, even if they are not celebrities, can become famous by this!

Q. What kind of concept will you have if you make a YouTube channel?

I don't know. But I think I will mainly do my daily Vlog. Like going to a famous celebrity party, the behind story of my movie, the process of making pop art with a silkscreen.Ah! I am interested in 3D printing these days. If I use this, the public can see famous celebrities in 3D versions, not 2D. There's a lot of work to do!

4.Who are you? Are you a designer? An artist? A businessman? Or are you a celebrity?

I don't know. I'm just a deeply superficial person. If you really want to know me, You can look at my paintings, movies, or the surface of my appearance. That's all I have and there I am. There's nothing behind it.

5. What is death to you? Death is the most embarrassing thing that can ever happen to me Because someone has to clean up after me. So I wonder why people don't just vanish when they die. He or She's the only one who's going to die anyway, and time will go on. I always thought I'd like my own tombstone to be blank. No epitaph, and no name. Well, actually, I'd like it to say 'robot'.

6. What do you think about your work that leads people to overspend and materialism? That's ridiculous. This era itself is already full of consumerism and materialism. Don't pass the buck to me. I just visualised this era as an art. Art should be equally served, as both rich and poor drink the same coke. Anyway, whatever anyone else says has no value to me concerning my work. I don’t need approval. I have confidence in what I’m doing.

7. Who is your muse? I had many muses. But the most memorable muse among them would be Edie Sedgwick. When I first saw her at the party, it seemed like time stopped. She was an amazing person. It was like she was mesmerizing me with her magic. Not only her appearance but perhaps her sad past made her more attractive. In a way, it's like a wanderer.

Q. Do you have anything to say about other muses?

I don't know. Edie Sedgwick, whom I loved, is a most beautiful artist, model, actress, and is my everlasting muse. If she were still alive, many other artists besides me would have been inspired by her. That's for sure.

Q. About Bob Dylan and her… I don't know much about their relationship. Don't ask me. I have nothing to say.

8.I heard that you own a lot of wigs. Are you still wearing a wig now? yes. It is my beautiful silver wig which is called “otherness”. No wig, no An..(A girl’s stealing the wig)

I had a dream last night where I was at this movie place, and they had those 3D movie prints where they change imagines when you tilt them, but they were all stills from Dylan's movies?? Each had like 2-3 and one of his new movies had 1 even tho it wasn't out yet. I called you and asked if you wanted some because they were so cheap I could get all of them. You were super excited to get the Tommy and Mitch ones- mainly Tommy. I woke up when I went to pay for them, so idk how you reacted in person

Ohmygod! That sounds amaizng 😅 and I’m glad to know even in your dreams you know how much I love Tommy (and Mitch!) as my legacy lives on.

I also had a dream about Dylan, it was so amazing! I was very sad when I woke up, lol.
