The Gen Z vs. Gen Alpha debate is honestly so stupid. Like do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to be apart of the generation that's beefing with middle schoolers.

"But they have weird slang." I grew up in a household where "fart" was a bad word. I think they'll survive.

"They don't know how to do [obsolete thing]." Thing isn't relevant to modern life anymore. Get over it.

"They all have iPhones." Welcome to 2024? Everybody, regardless of age, has smart devices. It's a modern way of life. Our parents didn't have gaming consoles and we did. Shit changes. Get over it.

"They don't have [life skill]!" They're literally children. You learn life skills as you get older. These children are growing up in a world that if fundamentally, politically, technologically, and socially very different from the one we grew up in. They will learn the life skills. Maybe at a different pace than we did, but they will learn them. You have to in order to live. They will be fine.

Kids go through cringe phases. Kids learn life skills as they age. Stop expecting literal children to be as emotionally developed and educated as you, a literal adult. That's all part of life. Stop trying to micromanage our successor generation. It's giving boomer entitlement levels, for real.
