Tips for Safe Swimming Pool Practices
Swimming is a fun and refreshing activity enjoyed by people of all ages. However, it is essential to follow safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced swimmer, adhering to safety guidelines is crucial. If you are considering taking swimming classes in Indore or looking for a well-maintained swimming pool in Indore, here are some essential safety tips to keep in mind.
1. Always Supervise Children
Children should never be left unattended near a swimming pool. Adult supervision is necessary at all times to prevent accidents. Even if a child knows how to swim, unexpected situations like cramps or fatigue can arise, leading to dangerous situations.
2. Learn to Swim from Professionals
If you are not confident about your swimming skills, it is highly recommended to enroll in professional swimming classes in Indore. Qualified instructors can teach proper swimming techniques and safety measures, reducing the risk of drowning or injuries.
3. Use Safety Equipment
For beginners and children, using appropriate safety gear like life jackets, arm floaties, or kickboards can help build confidence while swimming. However, these should not be considered substitutes for supervision and proper swimming skills.
4. Check Water Depth Before Diving
Before diving into a pool, always check the water depth. Diving into shallow water can result in severe head or neck injuries. Most pools have designated deep areas for diving, so always use those sections and avoid diving in unfamiliar waters.
5. Follow Pool Rules and Guidelines
Every swimming pool in Indore has specific rules and regulations for safety. These may include restrictions on running around the pool, diving in certain areas, and prohibiting rough play. Following these guidelines ensures the safety of all swimmers.
6. Avoid Swimming Alone
It is always safer to swim with a buddy, especially in unfamiliar or large pools. In case of an emergency, having someone nearby can make a significant difference in getting immediate assistance.
7. Be Aware of Pool Drains and Filters
Pool drains and suction outlets can pose risks, especially for children. Avoid playing near these areas to prevent getting trapped. Many pools have anti-entrapment covers, but it is still advisable to stay cautious.
8. Take Breaks and Stay Hydrated
Swimming can be physically exhausting, leading to dehydration and fatigue. Take regular breaks, drink water, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent heat-related illnesses.
9. Know Basic First Aid and CPR
In case of an emergency, knowing basic first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) can be lifesaving. If you are a frequent swimmer or a parent, consider taking a CPR course to be prepared for emergencies.
10. Shower Before and After Swimming
Maintaining hygiene is essential when using public pools. Showering before entering the pool helps keep the water clean, while showering afterward removes chlorine and other pool chemicals from your skin.
11. Avoid Swimming Under the Influence
Swimming under the influence of alcohol or drugs is extremely dangerous. These substances impair judgment, coordination, and reaction time, increasing the risk of accidents and drowning.
12. Ensure Proper Pool Maintenance
If you own a swimming pool, regular maintenance is crucial. Keep the water clean, check the chemical balance, and ensure that safety equipment is in good condition. If you visit a swimming pool in Indore, choose one that follows proper hygiene and maintenance protocols.
13. Be Cautious of Weather Conditions
Avoid swimming during thunderstorms or extreme weather conditions. Lightning can be a serious hazard near water bodies, and strong winds can create unsafe swimming conditions.
Following these safety practices ensures a secure and enjoyable swimming experience. If you are looking to improve your swimming skills, enrolling in swimming classes is a great option. Additionally, choosing a well-maintained swimming pool enhances safety and comfort while swimming. Prioritizing safety not only protects you but also ensures a pleasant experience for everyone around the pool.

Pool Cleaning Abu Dhabi: Tips to Keep Your Pool Crystal Clear
Having a swimming pool in Abu Dhabi is a luxury that comes with a lot of perks—cool dips during scorching summers, a relaxing spot for family gatherings, or even a picturesque backdrop for your home. But let’s face it: keeping your pool water crystal clear and safe isn’t as effortless as it looks. Regular maintenance is key, and for those who want the ultimate hassle-free experience, relying on the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi services can make all the difference.
If you prefer to handle the cleaning yourself or want to understand how professionals achieve sparkling results, here are some essential tips to maintain a pristine pool.
1. Skim and Remove Debris Daily
One of the simplest ways to keep your pool clean is by skimming the surface every day. Falling leaves, insects, and dust can quickly accumulate, especially in Abu Dhabi’s windy and sandy environment. Letting debris sit too long can clog your filters or sink to the bottom, making it harder to clean later.
A quick five-minute skim with a net can prevent major cleaning headaches. However, if you’re dealing with constant debris or don’t have the time, hiring the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi professionals ensures that this task is handled for you regularly.
2. Brush and Vacuum the Pool
Even if the water looks clear, dirt and grime can cling to your pool walls, floor, and steps. Over time, this buildup can lead to stains and algae growth. Brushing the walls and vacuuming the bottom at least once a week can help prevent this.
For large pools or pools with stubborn algae, the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi services use advanced tools like robotic pool vacuums and specialized brushes to ensure no spot is missed. They’ll leave your pool looking flawless with minimal effort on your part.
3. Maintain Proper Chemical Levels
Chemical balance is critical for keeping your pool water clear and safe for swimming. Too much chlorine can irritate your skin and eyes, while too little can allow bacteria and algae to thrive. The key is to regularly test and adjust your pool’s pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
The ideal pH level should range between 7.2 and 7.8. You can use test kits available in stores or, better yet, rely on the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi experts to handle the balancing act for you. Professionals can also provide advanced water testing to spot any hidden chemical imbalances.
4. Keep Your Filters Clean
Your pool’s filtration system works tirelessly to remove dirt and particles from the water. But when the filters become clogged, they can’t do their job properly. Make sure to clean the filter basket weekly and backwash the system as needed to maintain optimal performance.
If you’re unsure about filter maintenance, many of the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi companies offer specialized filter cleaning as part of their routine services. This keeps your system running efficiently and prevents costly repairs down the line.
5. Shock Your Pool When Needed
Even with regular maintenance, there are times when your pool water may look dull or cloudy, especially after heavy use or a sandstorm. Shocking the pool—adding a concentrated dose of chlorine—can eliminate contaminants and restore water clarity.
You don’t need to shock your pool every week, but doing so once a month or after a big gathering can make a huge difference. If you’re not confident about how to do this, let the best pool cleaning Abu Dhabi specialists handle it for you. They’ll know exactly when and how to perform this treatment.

Costume jewelry is an essential element of fashion that allows individuals to express their style without spending a fortune. However, it requires proper care to maintain its beauty and durability. If you're wondering how to protect costume jewelry, you’re not alone! In this guide, we will explore effective methods to ensure your costume jewelry remains stunning and long-lasting.

At Jewellery Hat, India’s fastest-growing fashion jewelry brand, we offer a wide range of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. All our pieces are made from stainless steel, feature anti-tarnish properties, and come with a lifetime replacement warranty on polishing. This commitment to quality means our jewelry is designed to withstand the rigors of daily wear while maintaining its shine. Let’s dive into the ways you can protect your beloved costume jewelry!
Understanding Costume Jewelry
Before we discuss how to protect costume jewelry, it’s important to understand what it is. Costume jewelry is typically made from less expensive materials, such as base metals, glass, and synthetic stones. While it offers a fabulous way to accessorize, it is often more susceptible to wear and tear compared to fine jewelry. This means taking the right steps to protect your pieces is crucial.
Why Protecting Costume Jewelry is Important
Many people wonder, "Why should I protect my costume jewelry?" Here are some compelling reasons:
Preserving Appearance: Regular wear and exposure can lead to tarnishing and fading. Protecting your costume jewelry helps maintain its original luster.
Increasing Longevity: Proper care and protection can significantly extend the life of your jewelry, allowing you to enjoy it for years to come.
Preventing Allergic Reactions: Some costume jewelry may contain nickel or other allergens. Protecting your jewelry helps minimize the risk of skin irritations.
Saving Money: By taking good care of your jewelry, you reduce the need for frequent replacements, saving you money over time.
How to Protect Costume Jewelry
Now that we understand the importance of protecting costume jewelry, let’s explore various methods to keep your pieces in excellent condition.
1. Remove Jewelry Before Activities
One of the most straightforward ways to protect costume jewelry is to remove it before engaging in activities that could cause damage. Consider these scenarios:
Exercise: Sweat can lead to tarnishing and discoloration. Always remove your jewelry before working out.
Showering: Water exposure can weaken adhesives and cause metals to tarnish. Make it a habit to take off your jewelry before bathing.
Swimming: Chlorinated water can be particularly damaging. Always leave your jewelry behind when heading to the pool.
By making a habit of removing your jewelry during these activities, you significantly reduce the risk of damage.

2. Store Jewelry Properly
Proper storage is essential for protecting costume jewelry. Here are some tips to ensure your pieces remain safe:
Use a Jewelry Box: Invest in a quality jewelry box with compartments to keep your items separated. This prevents scratches and tangling.
Avoid Humid Areas: Store your jewelry in a dry place away from humidity. Bathrooms can often be too humid, leading to tarnishing.
Individual Pouches: For added protection, store individual pieces in soft pouches. This minimizes the risk of scratching and tangling.
3. Clean Regularly
Regular cleaning is crucial for maintaining the appearance of your costume jewelry. Here’s how to effectively clean your pieces:
Use a Soft Cloth: After each wear, wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dirt, oils, and moisture.
Gentle Cleaners: If deeper cleaning is needed, use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
Dry Thoroughly: Always ensure your pieces are completely dry before storing them. This helps prevent moisture-related issues like tarnishing and odors.
At Jewellery Hat, our stainless steel pieces are designed for easy maintenance, allowing you to keep your jewelry looking its best with minimal effort.
4. Avoid Exposure to Chemicals
Chemicals can cause significant damage to costume jewelry. Here are common substances to avoid:
Perfume and Hair Products: These products can lead to discoloration. Apply perfume or hair products before putting on your jewelry.
Household Cleaners: Be cautious when cleaning your home. Strong chemicals can harm your jewelry. Always remove your pieces before cleaning.
Swimming Pools and Spas: Chlorine in pools can tarnish metals. Make it a rule to remove your jewelry before entering any pool or spa.
Being mindful of these chemicals helps protect your costume jewelry.
5. Choose Quality Over Quantity
When shopping for costume jewelry, consider investing in higher-quality pieces. Here’s why this matters:
Durability: High-quality costume jewelry, like those from Jewellery Hat, is designed to withstand regular wear.
Aesthetic Appeal: Well-made jewelry often looks more appealing and can mimic the appearance of fine jewelry.
Longevity: Investing in quality means your pieces are likely to last longer, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
By selecting higher-quality items, you’ll protect your costume jewelry and enjoy the benefits of durability and style.
6. Limit Exposure to Moisture
Water can damage costume jewelry, especially those made from base metals or with glued components. To protect your pieces:
Avoid Water Exposure: As mentioned earlier, always remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising.
Dry Immediately: If your jewelry accidentally gets wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth to prevent moisture damage.
Choosing stainless steel jewelry from Jewellery Hat means you’ll have pieces that are more resistant to moisture, but it’s still best to avoid excessive exposure.
7. Use a Jewelry Protectant

Consider using a jewelry protectant spray designed to create a barrier over your pieces. This helps shield against tarnishing and wear. Here’s how to apply it:
Clean First: Ensure your jewelry is clean and dry before application.
Follow Instructions: Each product will have specific instructions, so follow these carefully for optimal results.
Using a protectant can enhance the longevity of your jewelry, giving you added peace of mind.
8. Handle with Care
How you handle your costume jewelry can significantly impact its lifespan. Here are some tips for careful handling:
Avoid Tugging: Be gentle when putting on or taking off your jewelry to prevent bending or breaking components.
Keep Away from Pets: If you have pets, be mindful of your jewelry. Animals can be curious and may accidentally damage your pieces.
Avoid Excessive Force: Don’t pull or stretch your jewelry. This can cause clasps to break or chains to snap.
Being mindful of how you handle your jewelry can go a long way in protecting its integrity.
9. Inspect Regularly
Regularly inspecting your costume jewelry allows you to catch any issues before they escalate. Here’s what to look for:
Loose Stones: Check for any loose stones or embellishments. If you notice any, consider taking your jewelry to a professional for repair.
Signs of Tarnishing: Look for discoloration or tarnishing. If you find any, clean your jewelry promptly to restore its appearance.
Worn-Out Components: Check for signs of wear on clasps, chains, or other components. Addressing these issues early can prevent more significant damage later.
At Jewellery Hat, our lifetime replacement warranty on polishing ensures you can keep your jewelry looking its best.
10. Know When to Seek Professional Help
If you encounter significant issues with your costume jewelry, don’t hesitate to seek professional help. Here are some situations where you should consult a jeweler:
Repairs: If your jewelry needs repairs, a professional can fix loose stones or damaged clasps effectively.
Cleaning: For deep cleaning or restoration, consider taking your jewelry to a professional cleaner who specializes in costume jewelry.
Appraisal: If you have valuable costume jewelry and want to know its worth, a professional appraisal can provide valuable insight.

What Are The Most Common Reasons For Hair Loss in Summer?

Introduction:
As the temperatures rise and the sun beats down, many of us find ourselves facing a common concern: hair loss. While we often associate hair shedding with the colder months, the summer season can also take a toll on our locks. At Sparsh Skin Clinic in Ahmedabad, we understand the unique challenges that summer can pose for hair health. In this blog, we'll explore some of the most common reasons for hair loss during the summer months and offer expert insights on how to combat this seasonal challenge.
Increased Sun Exposure:
Ahmedabad's scorching summer sun can wreak havoc on our hair, leading to increased dryness and brittleness. Prolonged exposure to UV rays can damage the hair cuticle, making strands more prone to breakage and shedding. To protect your hair from the sun's harmful effects, consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat or using a UV-protective hair spray when outdoors.
Excessive Sweating:
The hot and humid climate in Ahmedabad during the summer months can lead to excessive sweating, especially on the scalp. Sweat can mix with sebum and dirt, clogging hair follicles and potentially inhibiting healthy hair growth. Regular shampooing with a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser can help remove sweat and impurities, keeping the scalp clean and promoting optimal hair health.
Chlorine and Saltwater Exposure:
For many Ahmedabad residents, summer means spending time in pools or at the beach. While swimming can be a refreshing way to beat the heat, exposure to chlorinated or saltwater can strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to dryness and breakage. To minimize damage, rinse your hair with fresh water before and after swimming and consider using a leave-in conditioner to provide added moisture and protection.
Air Conditioning:
While air conditioning provides relief from the heat, it can also contribute to hair loss by drying out the air and stripping moisture from the hair and scalp. To combat the drying effects of AC, try using a humidifier to add moisture to the air or investing in a hydrating hair mask to replenish lost moisture.
Stress and Lifestyle Factors:
Summer festivities and travel plans can sometimes lead to increased stress levels, which can, in turn, contribute to hair loss. Additionally, changes in diet, sleep patterns, and routine during the summer months can also impact hair health. Prioritizing self-care practices such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, and a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals can help mitigate the effects of stress on hair health.
Conclusion:
At Sparsh Skin Clinic in Ahmedabad, we understand the unique challenges that summer can pose for hair health. By taking proactive steps to protect and nourish your hair, you can minimize the risk of summer-related hair loss and enjoy healthy, vibrant locks all season long. How To Remove Chlorine From Skin After Swimming
A. How To Reduce The Chlorine Smell After Swimming?
Many swimmers ask about it, so we decided to share with you some tips on how to remove chlorine odor from your body and hair after a swimming session. The odor comes from chlorine and chloramines applied to the skin and, in fact, there are many ways to get rid of them.
1. Hot bath right after swimming
Immediately after leaving the pool, take a hot shower and simply wash your hair and skin with regular soap or shower gel. Also, give your hair a conditioner. In 99% of cases, it is enough to get rid of the smell and feel comfortable when leaving the pool. If that’s not enough, keep reading, as we still have some ideas for you!
2. Vitamin C
Vitamin C naturally neutralizes chlorine and eliminates odor. The question is how best to use this? For fans of home remedies, we recommend lemon juice – just squeeze a lemon and dilute it with water (1: 4 ratio), apply to the body and let it dry. Another form is vitamin C crystals, which can also be diluted with water. Either method should work, but if you don’t want to take too long, you can use lotions and shampoo products as well.
3. Always wear a swimming cap
This is one of the easiest ways to comb your hair in the pool and will naturally keep it dry and away from the smell of chlorine. It also protects some types of hair from discoloration.
4. Wet your hair before a swimming workout
This is an additional tip to the previous one. To prevent your hair from absorbing chlorine in the pool, you can rinse your hair in the shower before entering the pool.
5. Swimming pools with ultraviolet light and ozone
This is our final and definitive tip – if you are struggling to get rid of the chlorine smell, you can also look for a pool that keeps the water clean without using chlorine. What should be looked for are pools with ozone or ultraviolet light – the latter do not use chemicals to clean the water.
6. Measure your swimming with the Swimmo training watch

B. Skin Care For Swimmers: Everything You Wanted To Know About Getting Chlorine Off Of Your Body
Goodbye Chlorine manufactures anti-chlorine products for swimmers’ hair and skin. Click here to see our entire product line or shopping guide.
1. What is a good soap to remove chlorine from the skin?
Look for soaps with two properties:
They are made for swimmers and contain chlorine-removing ingredients.
Moisturizer. A good soap is rich in glycerin, which helps keep your skin hydrated.
Chlorine dries and you need to remove it after swimming. Find a soap that neutralizes chlorine and moisturizes your skin. This is the best possible combination. See our soaps here.
2. What is a good liquid soap for swimmers?
The mildest and most moisturizing products allow a good facial wash. If you like using soap, our handmade soaps are great. If you prefer liquid soap, try our shower gel.
3. Why is it important to remove all chlorine from the skin after swimming?
Chlorine dries and damages the skin. The health benefits of chlorine pools are indisputable, but leaving chlorine on your skin after swimming is irritating. In people with sensitive skin, this residual chlorine can cause itchiness or a rash (commonly known as a “rash with chlorine”).
4. How do I remove the chlorine smell from the skin?
The smell of chlorine on your skin is actually residual chlorine that remains on your skin after swimming. You need to remove the chlorine to remove the odor. This is more difficult than it looks because chlorine is a difficult way to stay around. Use a product that removes chlorine, such as our liquid swimmer soap.
5. What is the best chlorine neutralizing soap?
Look for soaps made with special ingredients to neutralize chlorine. Our soaps and shower gel remove chlorine after bathing. It really comes down to a preference between soap and shower gel. We find it easier to get shower gel at the pool and using soap at home between baths is the most convenient solution.
6. How do you not smell of chlorine after swimming?
The smell of chlorine long after you swim is evidence that there is still chlorine in your body. To avoid the smell of chlorine, chlorine must be removed after bathing. Use products like anti-chlorine shower gel to remove chlorine after a swim.
C. How to Keep Chlorine From Wrecking Your Hair, Skin, and Swimsuit
When the temperature rises, I want a refreshing dip in the pool. Swimming is by far my favorite summer activity. One thing I don’t like about swimming is chlorine. Each product we offer has been independently selected and verified by our editorial team. If you make a purchase using the included links, we may receive a commission. When the temperature rises, I want a refreshing dip in the pool. Swimming is by far my favorite summer activity. It’s a full-body workout that makes joints easier and makes me slimmer, healthier and more active.
One thing I don’t like about swimming is chlorine. If I’m not careful, my skin can be red and itchy and my hair can be dry and brittle. As I swim almost every day during the summer, chlorine also tears and fades my bathing suits long before the end of the season. In addition, I am currently concerned with damaging my freshly dyed hair. So I did some research and tested products to see what really worked. This I learned.
1. Choose a hair product
Chlorine is used as a disinfectant to kill harmful bacteria in the water. This prevents you from getting E. coli and other nasty germs, but it also removes the natural oils that protect your hair from damage and daily wear and tear. Since I don’t want my hair to turn into hay, I learned to coat my hair with hair products before jumping into the pool. Oil and silicone based products are the best. I used silicone-based hair serum to calm frizzy hair and protect hair from heat. Another option is coconut oil, which also adds shine and moisture to my dry hair. Other products on the market are designed specifically for this problem. I am currently using Phyto Plage Protective Sun Veil ($ 30; jet.com). Contains castor oil and protects hair from the harmful effects of the sun, salt and chlorine.
2. Get wet and protect your head
Before jumping into the pool, I like to dip my hair in the shower. This slows down chlorine absorption because your hair acts like a sponge and absorbs less water when wet. Then I put my locks in a rubber or silicone cap. I know it doesn’t block water completely, but it slows down the process.
3. Get special hair cleansers
Some swimmers also smell chemicals from the pool after bathing and other activities. This is because chlorine binds chemically to hair and skin. Therefore, you may need more than just soap and water to wash it. You can buy a special shampoo to remove chlorine and the buildup of minerals, such as copper, that can turn your hair green. I used a product called TRISWIM Shampoo ($ 11; amazon.com) that softens my hair while adding volume. It smells like citrus fruits, which also helps to remove the smell of chlorine. Malibu Swimmers Water Action Wellness Shampoo ($ 14; amazon.com) is another option. It also serves as a liquid soap and is gentle enough to be used every day.
4. Opt for natural remedies
It is cheap to use apple cider vinegar, which acts as a natural clarifier. Just add a part of vinegar to four parts of water and pour it over the freshly washed hair. Then, do a final rinse. You can also prepare a citrus lift for your dry hair. Carbon dioxide from soda and acid from citrus juices work together to detoxify hair and remove impurities like dirt, chlorine and salt. If that sounds like a lot of work and you don’t do it yourself, you can get vitamin C concentrated in a SwimSpray chlorine removal spray bottle ($ 10; amazon.com). I tried this product and, although it was not very good for my hair, I found it was a quick and easy way to get the stink out of my swimsuit.
5. Take care of your skin
If you stay in the pool for a long time, you will develop dry, chalky skin and sometimes an itchy, red skin rash. Again, the culprit is chlorine, which removes the surface layer of oil that normally retains moisture from the skin. There is not much you can do about it in the water, but when you get out of the pool you go straight to the shower, take off your suit and wash the skin chemicals with plenty of soap and water. If you have sensitive skin or the pool is very chlorinated, you can use a special liquid soap TRISWIM
6. Keep your eyes healthy too
Contact lenses can absorb water like a sponge, just like your hair. This is bad news, as prolonged exposure to chlorine can irritate the corneal surface and cause redness and itching in the eyes. If you are like me and need corrective lenses to see six inches in front of your face, you will have to throw away your contact lenses as soon as you get out of the pool. I find it cheap to have daily contacts that I can only use for swimming, while I use monthly magazines for everything else.
Another option is to buy prescription swimming goggles. You may not know this, but they are surprisingly affordable. Prices range from $ 20 to $ 60, depending on the brand. You can get them from Speedo or TYR, but I like the aquagoggles because they make it easy to customize the recipe for each eye.
7. Take care of your bathing suit
Frequent swimmers know that chlorine can damage not only their skin and hair, but also their swimsuit. Over time, the fabric will tear, the color will fade and the elastic will break. He can also turn his white suit to yellow. The next time you buy a new swimsuit, be sure to check the label to see if it is resistant to chlorine and fading. A high level of spandex is an advantage, as it will help your outfit maintain its shape. You can also look for a satisfaction guarantee. Lands’ End has this policy and covers all your swimwear.

can u do andy jacking off while thinking abt the reader and what he would do to her? love ur writing btw <3
A visit from Andy’s old friend Y/F/N Y/L/N was long overdue, and it was one that Andy had been counting down.
How many years had it been now, since they last saw one another? Two? Three? Andy couldn’t remember; all he knew was the happiness at seeing her again. A visit from her, it seemed, was just what the doctor had ordered for his limited joy nowadays. When she finally came, the pay off for years’ absence was worth it. Seeing Y/N in all of her glory, noticing the glow in her skin, that smile on her face, was more intoxicating than any drink or drug could ever hope to be.
Their days of acting together left Andy joyful, and while his own career was in the tank, hers was thriving. He was happy for her, another rarity for him these days. Usually he was bitter for what he had lost, but not where Y/N was concerned. She was one of the very few people he allowed in and didn’t close out, and one of the few who stuck by him through all of his bullshit. If that wasn’t a true friend, then what was? Then there was the feelings he had always harbored for her, and the way he felt with her every time they were together. He had no idea how deeply his feelings for her truly ran, but he knew that he must act quickly.
Tonight, he was lying in his bed after they spent the day swimming and drinking afterwards, watching the setting sun from the pool deck. His mind began to turn to the day’s events, and how good Y/N had looked. He could see the bikini she wore—one that left very little to the imagination on both the top and bottom. It was probably as scantily clad as he had ever seen her, and it was something that he had not expected. He knew her body was probably amazing, but he had no idea how true that was until he had seen it like that. And at the very thought of that alone, his boxers grew tight, and his balls began to throb uncomfortably.
“Shit,” he hissed, palming himself over his boxers with a soft whimper.
Scenes of the day play in his mind, and he closes his eyes against them. He can see her, with her skin shining in the sun, her breasts glittering with a sheen of sweat and almost fully exposed in the bikini top. He can see her standing up to get a drink of water, walking away from him, her ass shaking as if on purpose as she moved. He whines softly, hissing as he gives in to the temptation to touch himself even more. He keeps palming himself, but applies a bit more pressure, his eyes still closed as his breathing comes in tiny pants.
And then he is imagining her in the pool. He can see the water dripping from her breasts, the way it dipped into her collarbones, the way the sun shone in her wet, slicked back hair. He could also see clearly, in his mind, her hard nipples poking through the fabric of her bikini. He groans again, tugging his full erection from his boxers and beginning to jerk himself off to the very thought of it. He can still smell her skin, an intoxicating mix of chlorine and floral perfume, and can feel the way her fingers brushed against his skin. This caused an influx of other thoughts, ones that weren’t entirely unwelcome. He imagined himself pulling her body close to his, feeling the wet warmth of her skin against his, smelling the sun-kissed scent of her skin. He imagined burying his face in her neck, kissing it roughly as she moaned her appreciation in his ear, her hands clawing at his hair. He imagined feeling her breasts pressed against his chest, now completely out as her movement & the water of the pool finished removing the bikini top. He can see himself taking her nipple between his lips, sucking and tugging with his teeth, hearing her mewl and feeling the nipple hardening under his relentless touch.
“Fucking shit,” he moans, increasing the speed of his movements as he feels his balls begin to tighten.
The scene in his mind changes, and now she is lying back on one of the poolside chairs. He is kneeling between her legs, tasting her, relishing in the way she moaned and pulled his hair. He wondered if she tasted sweet, if she would be the best tasting pussy he ever had, and he had an inkling that she could be. He pictures how good she would look from his position on the ground, her breasts heaving, her face twisted in pleasure, and his hand works faster. He makes a neat fist around his hard, throbbing cock, moving it up, then back down, slowly at first and then increasing the pace.
It isn’t the image of him eating her pussy that gets him off, nor is it the one that immediately follows of her sucking his cock. The winner was the image of him fucking her, of how warm, tight, and wet she would feel bouncing on his cock by the side of the pool. How fast she did it, how hard, how her tits bounced with every slam of her hips. His hands ran over them, then down her hips, then her clit as he thrust up to meet her movements, and then he was cumming, thick ropes of it spurting between his fingers and into his fist as he groans filthily. His lashes flutter, his chest moves, his eyes squeeze shut, and he rides out the aftershocks with her on his mind.
He takes several minutes to himself, coming back down from his high and enjoying the ride. The thought of her still would not leave his head, despite his orgasm, and a smirk dances across his face as he lights a cigarette. He inhales, slowly breathing out the smoke as the smirk widens. She had several days left of her visit; what if he invited her over tomorrow, and tried his luck? There was a chance she would not be on board, but what if she was? Why let that opportunity pass him by so easily and so foolishly?
He flicks his ashes into the ashtray, his mind turning over the many beautiful possibilities.

Waterpark Kisses (Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader)
Word Count: 1,863
Summary: You and Ushijima decide that a waterpark would be a fun date, but insecurities begin to rise and you’re left wondering if Ushijima really does love you like he claims.
This is dedicated to my @sunshinewitchz, the love of my life and the biggest simp for Wakatoshi I know. She’s literally the best and deserves the best💕💕💕
I hope you all enjoy this garage. My biggest concern when writing is making sure I capture the character’s personality, so hopefully I did a good job for this one😅
Also I know I have some requests sitting in my inbox, I’ll get to them eventually, but at the moment for requests I’ll only be writing three at time.
Anyway please enjoy!:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“It was nice of Tendou-kun to give us these tickets.” You said brightly, staring up at the tall ace that was currently next to you.
The smell of chlorine was heavy in the air, along with the sounds of running water, and kids screaming and laughing.
“Yeah.” Ushijima said briefly, eyes flickering down to yours briefly before surveying the area. “I thought it would just be us though.” he finished, eyes now gazing at his teammates.
“Now, now, Wakatoshi-kun.” Tendou said coming up to you guys and swinging an arm around your shoulders. “Think of it as team building! Right guys?”
Semi scoffed, crossing his arms over his bare chest. “No one wanted to come to the waterpark Tendou, you literally forced everyone to go.”
You and Ushijima frowned slightly at his statement. When Tendou had asked if you guys wanted tickets to go to the new waterpark that opened, you were ecstatic. You and Ushijima hadn’t gone on a date in a while, and this was the perfect chance.
However, you weren’t expecting it to be a group thing.
“I wanted to go.” Ushijima said, looking at Semi with a blank expression. “Y/n and I wanted to go on a date and you guys decided to tag along.” his blunt statement had you gently patting his muscular bicep.
“Waka-kun. It’s fine. We can still have fun.” You said brightly, beaming up at the stoic male. “I’m just happy to be with you.”
Ushijima’s face softened as he stared back at you. This was just one of the many reasons why he adored you. You were literally the sun, incredibly warm and bright. Your sweet face melted away the bitterness he was feeling towards his teammates.
Nothing else mattered as long as he got to spend time with you.
“Let’s go find a place to put our stuff, Y/n.” He said, his large hand engulfing yours completely. Thick, rough fingers grasped at your dainty ones, gently squeezing before intertwining them together.
Ushijima’s hands were always so warm. The rough calluses from years of volleyball practice tickled your skin pleasantly. But the safety you felt when he held your hand was one of your favorite feelings.
It had always been like this though, while you and Ushijima had only started dating halfway through your second year at Shiratorizawa, the overwhelming feeling of love was always transparent between the two of you.
You had never thought that the stoic, blunt, blank faced captain would be attentive to you. Would care for you as deeply as he did. He never ceased making you feel adored.
“Wakatoshi-kun!” Tendou called out loudly.
Right now, you guys were sitting at one of the many tables that overlooked the main waterpark area, you guys were currently looking at the map of the park, deciding on what you wanted to do first.
“What is it Tendou?” Ushijima asked, staring at the spiky red-haired male making his way over to you guys.
“They’re doing a game of volleyball! Let’s play!” he gestured over his shoulder to one of the pools, a group of people beginning to pull up a net.
You noticed the slight glint in Ushijima’s eye at the mention of the sport, but he glanced over at you in expectation.
“Go play for a bit Toshi-kun.” you said, smiling in amusement. I’ll keep looking over the map and after you finish, we can go yeah?”
He nodded, getting up from his chair to leave. “Okay. I won’t be long.” he stooped down, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. He easily removed his black shirt from his body, the thick muscles in his arms flexing deliciously, the hard lines on his stomach revealed for all eyes to see.
But those were yours. You knew his body like the back of your hand; knew all the ways to make him unravel. You knew exactly how he liked to be touched.
He was yours. Simple as that.
You couldn’t help but watch the game for a moment, there was something truly amazing about seeing him play.
You loved his strength and his passion for the sport, the raw power that he possessed was breathtaking.
His play left you in awe every time.
You were staring in awe for a different reason this time. The water ran down his body, seeping into the deep crevices of his muscles, soaking his hair until it was dark and sticking to his forehead. His eyes focused and determined with that familiar glint that he always got when he played.
The tall ace was just so fucking beautiful, it was almost too much to watch.
But again, he was yours. The amount of love you possessed for Ushijima Wakatoshi was indescribable.
But there were times where you couldn’t help but wonder why he was with you; especially now, a group of girls had paused their conversation to stare at the tall male, your boyfriend.
“Look how hot that guy is.” one of them whispered, unconsciously fixing her swimsuit. “Do you think he’s single?”
A frown began to form on your lips as you listened in. A slight pang of insecurity and jealousy flooding in your blood.
You had the utmost trust and confidence in Ushijima, you knew that he would never cheat on you, you knew that he never had a wandering eye… but there were times when that little voice in the back of your head began those ‘what if’ scenarios.
Especially since those girls that were ogling your boyfriend were incredibly pretty.
“Oh my god, look he’s coming right over here.” one of them said in hushed excitement, they all began fixing their hair and their swimsuits. “He’s looking right at us!”
Correction.
Ushijima was looking at you.
His swim trunks hung low on his hips, revealing the deep ‘V’ set at the base of his hips. Water was still trickling down his toned stomach.
A greek fucking god he was.
“Y/n, did you see my win?” he asked in his deep voice as he approached you, grabbing the towel you had set out for him earlier.
However, you were too busy staring at the girls who were now glaring at you. “Is that his girlfriend? There’s no way. He’s too good for her.”
You immediately averted your gaze as soon as you heard those words; your shoulders curling in on themselves as you tried to make yourself as small as possible.
“Y/n?” Ushijima asked, frowning as he sat next to you once more, toweling off his hair.
“Oh! Uh… sorry Toshi-kun… yes, I did see your win! It was great!” you said, a fake smile covering your lips.
Ushijima’s frown deepened, his large hand reaching out to cup your face, he knew something was wrong, that smile of yours… it wasn’t the smile he was used to.
“But you’re back now! So, let’s go to this part!” You said, pointing off in a random direction. You didn’t want Ushijima to see you upset, you didn’t want to ruin the time you had together because of your insecurities.
He stared at you for a moment before nodding. “Okay. Let’s go then.” he said, grabbing your stuff and your small hand before walking off.
The waterpark was vast, it had so many different pools with different themes, but somehow you guys ended up in a quiet beach themed area.
The serenity and the quietness were actually quite welcoming, and there weren’t that many people there.
Ushijima had set down your guys’ things on one of the folding chairs, before looking at you expectantly.
“Should we swim?” he asked, nodding towards the water.
You nodded eagerly, almost forgetting about the incident earlier. But as you went to remove the shawl that covered your body, you hesitated.
It wasn’t like Ushijima had never seen your body before, but for some reason… you were left feeling entirely unsure about it.
Had those pretty girls and their crude comments gotten to you?
As your mind was reeling, you hadn’t noticed that Ushijima was watching you closely. Once again noticing your odd behavior, your usual sunny and bright expression was incredibly cloudy.
That was something that he absolutely despised, all he wanted was your happiness. If he wasn’t able to give you that… then… he felt like he wasn’t doing his duty to you as your boyfriend, as your protector.
“A-Actually Waka-kun, I think I’ll take a break for a moment.” you finally said, giving him another fake smile.
“You haven’t even gotten in the water today.” he said bluntly, causing you to flinch at the trueness to it.
“W-Well, watching you play volleyball was just so exhausting for me.” you said nervously.
He wasn’t buying it though. He walked over to you, gently grabbing your wrist and tugging you closer to him.
“Don’t lie to me Y/n.” he said, carefully cupping your chin and moving your face up so you were gazing directly at him. “What happened? You’re acting strange.”
You stared back at him, his face was contorted into a frown, but you could see the love and the worry clear in his eyes.
“Do you… do you love me Wakatoshi?” you asked quietly.
“Are you stupid?” he asked bluntly, causing you to pout at his mean words. “Of course, I love you. You already know that.”
He wasn’t wrong there. He told you that he loves you almost every day it seemed. Of course, you knew, he never let you forget.
“Are you… attracted to me?” You tried again.
The expression on his face was incredibly confused now. “Why would you ask me that? Of course, I do. If I didn’t we wouldn’t have had se-” “Okay!” you interrupted reaching up to cover his mouth, although even on your tiptoes, you could only reach his chin, face burning in embarrassment at his bold claim.
He removed your hand from his face, cradling both in his large ones as he stared down at you.
“If I wasn’t attracted to you, we wouldn’t be dating.” he said simply. “Why are you asking me these things?”
You sighed softly, gazing at the sand beneath your feet now. “I just… those girls were so pretty… I got insecure…” you trailed off.
He frowned again, what girls?
“I don’t know what girls you’re talking about.” he said. “But you’re beautiful. I don’t see any reason for you to be insecure. I love your body.”
You could feel the blush rising in your cheeks at his statement, a familiar feeling of warmth and love washing away the feelings of insecurity and worry.
“Really?” you asked, looking up at him through your lashes.
“Yes.” he gently cupped your cheek, tilting your face up to gaze at him. His heart racing slightly at the sweet expression on your face, the dark clouds seemed to disappear now, leaving behind that warm, bright face he adored the most.
He stooped down, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before standing straight again. “Let’s go swimming now.”
“Can you turn around so I can take off my cover?” You asked.
“Why? You strip down in front of me all the time before we have se-”
“Wakatoshi!”
How To Change Aquarium Filter Without Losing Bacteria?
How To Change Aquarium Filter Without Losing Bacteria? The best way to avoid losing your biological filtration is by ensuring that you change your filter cartridge regularly, every 3 months or so and also ensure that the material you re-use is clean and free from dirt and dust particles. This way you can leave behind a healthy colony of bacteria capable of maintaining good water quality in your aquarium! Note: The following information applies only for mechanical filtration whereby old filter media needs to be replaced with new ones. If it’s simply a replacement of biofilters (carbon) then there is no need to worry about loss of bacteria.
How To Change Aquarium Filter Without Losing Bacteria?
Three Ways of Changing Aquarium Filter Cartridge without Bacteria Loss
The major cause of fish death after a tank maintenance is that bacterial bacteria (bacteriological filter) are removed from aquarium water. Therefore, Asian Tropica promotes three ways to change aquarium filter cartridge without losing bacterial bacteria.
By maintaining a healthy balance between different types of bacteria and other microorganisms it becomes easy for aquarists to maintain good water quality and healthy fish in their tanks. It also helps prevent diseases such as ammonia poisoning, nitrite poisoning or nitrate poisoning and keeps fish stress-free. Since filtration is therefore the most important and time consuming part of aquarium maintenance, Asian Tropica recommends three ways to change filter cartridge without losing bacterial bacteria.
Through this article we would like to share some tips with you regarding how to keep your water healthy while changing the filtration medium in your tank. Regardless of whether your tank is a freshwater or salt water one, it is very important to prevent loss of valuable bacteria when changing out filters because these little guys do such an amazing job keeping everything clean!. The key is not really getting rid of all the bio-growth but rather reestablishing equilibrium after a major change so that stability can be maintained in a new way.
1. Leaving the Old Filter in the Tank:
By leaving your old filter, the bacteria remain in your tank. This is actually a simple method that works for many fish keepers. If doing it this way, you should change 80% of the water every week to avoid debris buildup on the bottom of your tank. Another option is to remove all of the old substrate and then put half of it in a bag for three days and bring fresh stuff back in when you buy new media from store.
2. Reusing the Media of the Old Filter:
Take out all bioballs from an old filter cartridge and wash them with tap water or by soaking in aquarium water for about two hours (change water periodically). Put them into a plastic vase or bucket with some saltwater water (5%-10%) and let them sit in that water for a couple of days. By doing this, the bacteria will start to grow again but you have to be careful not to keep it too long because if algae starts growing on bioballs then they are useless. You should also avoid using tap water for re-use since chlorine may affect bacteria activity.
3. Colonizing the New Filter:
This is actually a very simple method, but one that can go wrong if you don’t follow instructions properly. All you need is a small container filled with aquarium water (about half full) and place your new filter media inside it for about 24 hours before placing it into your tank to colonize it. It is vital to change some of the water in this container every few hours to remove harmful substances that could affect your bacteria.
Asian Tropica recommends doing these steps before starting up a new aquarium or changing old filter medium to help reestablish equilibrium after major changes so that stability can be maintained in a new way. Following these tips will help you maintain good water quality and healthy fish in your tanks, providing them with relaxed and stress free environment in which they can thrive! Understanding Biological Filtration and Importance of Bacteria Loss Prevention
Biological filtration is an important part of the entire mechanical, chemical and biological filtration process in the aquarium. The term “bio-filtration” refers to a wide variety of bacteria which are used for breaking down toxic ammonia into nitrite and then into harmless nitrate.
The most essential role bacterial play in water cycling is nitrogen cycle or more especially ammonia cycle. Fish waste products such as uneaten food and dead skin cells contain amino acids that turn into toxic ammonia (NH3). This NH3 will be absorbed by water where it will be converted to ammonium (NH4+). Ammonium in small numbers can be tolerated by fish but when they reach dangerous levels, effects may include lethargy, no appetite, clamped fins and can lead to death.
Nitrosomonas bacteria then convert ammonia to nitrite (NO2-) which is just as toxic. Nitrobacter bacteria in turn converts the NO2- into nitrate (NO3-). The advantage of using an aquarium filter containing activated carbon is that it will absorb any residual odors from fish waste, thereby preventing unwanted smells form being released into aquarium water. It also helps to remove discoloration and makes looking after your tank much easier! Your biofilter therefore has two roles – one is to break down toxic waste products from the fish and second is to reduce odor.
Does The Aquarium Filter Cartridge Really Need Changing?
The short answer here is no, the filter cartridge does not need to be replaced on a regular basis and this is largely down to the presence of biofilms. All filter cartridges have pores that allow beneficial bacteria living inside them to colonize onto it’s media surface. As long as these bacteria remain alive they will continue to remove harmful compounds from your aquarium water and over time build-up of waste products in your tank will be removed before they reach dangerous levels!
In some cases however, you may find that your biological filtration has broken down due to too much nitrates being present for example or because you are using tap water. The best way around this problem is by ensuring that you use only well-decanted water or RO/DI water and also replace your filter media regularly.
Common Misconceptions about Aquarium Filters
There are many false beliefs regarding the necessity to replace aquarium filters on a regular basis, fuelled by advice given by pet shops where they are known to push for sales of new products as opposed to maintaining stock in older ones. Biological filtration is clean and efficient when it comes to removing toxins and harmful compounds from our swimming water but not all filtration systems need replacing on an annual basis! The only instance where you will have to change your filter cartridge regularly is if it has deteriorated badly – flaking or falling apart because of mechanical wear and tear or even being left out in direct sunlight all day long, etc. Asian Tropica recommend using quality products like Eheim which are robust and will last for many years if taken care of properly.
18 or 45! 💖
Thank you for the prompt! Sorry it took me a while to get back to you but I’m sure this will more than make up for it. Also two in one day? Look at me go!
My ask box is always open if anyone wants to drop a prompt from the list or just spout an idea off the dome!
I’ll get around to doing both. But here’s one just for now.
#18: “This is… exactly what it looks like”
Sailor Boy
Billy knew Steve’s routine as if it were his own, written all over his arm in permanent ink. He knew Monday was inventory day, Tuesday was delivery day. Wednesday and Thursday were Steve’s days off. Friday and Saturday Scoops Ahoy stayed open late, to coincide with the mall’s longer opening hours due to the movie theatre on the top floor, owners of the nautical based ice cream franchise clearly hoping that maybe movie goers would want to sneak in a cone or a tub mid flick.
Friday was when Billy finished early. His last swim class was at three. He could easily be done by five, shower just enough of the chlorine smell off his skin, change and be parked at the mall by six. He had taken the same route so many times now he could do it with his eyes closed, knew every stop sign, the rhythm of the traffic lights. How the cops liked to hide behind that low billboard on Maple to catch potential speeders heading out of town.
Even if he’d spent all of Thursday with Steve, rolling around his parents fucking mansion like the both owned the place, Friday was Billy’s favourite day. Friday he got to see his little sailor boy at work. Steve hated his uniform, he wasn’t shy about ever saying so. Hated the dumb hat, hated the dumb shirt that got itchy after two days of wear if it didn’t get washed in between, hated the socks he had to wear up to just below his knees that would constantly fall down, hated the fact his whole uniform felt wipe clean even though it wasn’t in the slightest. The one thing Steve hated and complained about most though, were the shorts. They were long and baggy and unshapely.
“It’s like wearing a sown up trash bag man, honestly!”
Billy loved those shorts. He loved the deep but not navy blue of their colour, he loved the white stripe that ran along the bottom of each cuff, he loved the deep pockets than ran much further down Steve’s thighs than they had any right too, he wasn’t carrying all that much around with him day to day, but most of all Billy loved the elasticated waistband. Always hidden almost halfway up Steve’s stomach the shorts were so big on his skinny frame.
Well, not skinny. Just skinnier than Billy. Steve still had plenty of muscle definition even if he was eating spoons of ice cream all day now, stealing maraschino cherries straight from the jar and rolling them with their juice in little cups of chocolate sprinkles, swearing blind he’d invented the greatest semi-healthy snack of all time just because at one point it had been a fruit.
Billy also knew that 6:15 was when Steve’s little work friend, that smart mouthed girl with too much eyeliner, went on her final break even though the store shut at eight. He knew to time it so good that sometimes he’d stroll in and Steve would still be talking like it was still her.
This day wasn’t one of those days. He strolled through the big open doors, that stupidly cheery music playing on a constant loop that must have driven Steve completely mad sometimes, to find him scooping up ice cream to display on their tubs. The place was dead. It always was. No one ever left the movie theatre mid picture to come down two floors just for ice cream, when the concessions were right outside. He kept scooping and piling even though Billy knew he had seen him. The corners of his lips twitched just a little then damped back down. Hiding a grin. Billy could play this game. He leant over the counter, pressing his chest up to the glass, knowing it would smudge just a little. No longer perfectly clear. Streaked with the last stubborn remnants of suntan lotion a crappy public shower couldn’t remove. Steve raised his head after a few long minutes into their stalemate and was still trying not to smile.
“Sir,” Oh he had on his customer service voice too, Billy loved that, it made the game more fun and he couldn’t hide the grin it caused to grow on his face. “Can I help you with anything?”
“That depends,” he pushed himself off the counter and slowly started spinning around the container of rainbow sprinkles, unscrewing the cap. “I’m looking for something specific.” He sucked on the tip of his finger and rolled it in the first layer of sprinkles until his fingertip was completely coated. Billy knew Steve hated when he did that. Both hated and loved it. Hated it because it was kind of disgusting, but loved it, cause, well, Steve was kind of disgusting. Under all the rich daddy’s boy front he was willing to try some kinky shit and Billy just drank up every last drop he could squeeze out. Billy wiggled his sprinkle coated finger around, watching Steve’s eyes follow it around like fish to bait, growing darker by the second.
“Well, I think I can be of some assistance….” he spoke calmly, and walked around more to the side of the counter. Billy matched his steps. He wasn’t quite over the invisible ‘employees only’ line just yet. They locked eyes and Steve’s were nearly black with desire. He took Billy’s hand in his cold ones, they had just been in a freezer after all, and he pulled gently. He popped Billy’s sprinkle covered finger into his mouth and let his eyes get hooded, in the way he knew drove Billy crazy, especially when that perfect wide tongue started cleaning up the sugar speckled digit and with his pretty boy pout sucking further down to the second knuckle, then the third with clear intent, firm muscle sweeping back and forth and around Billy’s rougher skin, rendering his brain fucking mush every time.
Steve let the finger go with a wet, but soft, pop, letting his eyes open again. Billy glanced a look down and there was a definite tent in those hated shorts. They both crashed together at the same time, kissing feverishly as Billy pushed and Steve pulled, both of them stumbling through the swinging door and up against the wall next to the always empty notice board. Billy pinned Steve up to it, knocking the cap off his head in the process as they kissed deeper, licking into each other’s mouths and sharing the taste of chemically coloured sugar. Steve’s needy hands found Billy’s hips easily and pulled, hard, letting out the sweetest little desperate moan as Billy’s thicker thigh found its way between his own. Billy let Steve’s lips go, kissing over his jaw heavily, and moved his leg higher, tighter, to ring out more delicious sounds.
His little sailor was always so cute trying to be quiet, especially at work, but Billy knew him inside out. Had made it his job to know every button Steve Harrington had, how and when to push them, which threads to pull at to watch him completely unravel. One of the first things they ever did, out in the quarry in the back of Billy’s camaro, Steve had humped his thigh like a bitch in heat. Steve loved his thighs. He was never shy in showing so. They were one of the big flashing buttons to push, to the point of Steve couldn’t come to the pool if Billy was on shift or risk popping a semi then and there just seeing a flash of red covering not very much leg.
Like this though, pressed up against the wall, Billy had all the control. Steve was pliant, warming his cold hands on Billy’s sun soaked stomach under his shirt, going over his abs with needy thumbs. Billy worked his thigh harder. Steve groaned biting his lip so not to let it all come streaming out loud and hot. He started grinding his hips at long last, all the layers of fabric between skin doing nothing but adding deliciously painful friction, as Billy nibbled his earlobe.
Yeah, Harrington had a lot of buttons. And god if they weren’t fun to press.
Deep down Billy wanted to ruin Steve for good. Even if what they had, whatever it was, wasn’t a long term plan and just a way to blow off steam for the long hot summer months, Billy was determined that no one would ever rock his little sailor’s boat like he could. No one would ever make Harrington come like he could, no one would ever make him cry out in the middle of the night with his peachy ass burning with hand marks like he could, no one would make him choke on a cock behind the arcade in broad daylight where they could be seen at any moment and still have those swollen come shiny lips beg for more like an angel’s prayer like he could.
Whether he knew it or not, Steve was going to be ruined for the rest of his days.
Billy growled next to his ear possessively. His sailor melted and ground his hips harder, starting to get desperate so soon. God if that didn’t make Billy’s dick kick something horrific in his jeans.
“Needy tonight huh baby?” Billy grunted roughly in his deepest voice, the one he knew that if Harrington had a pussy, it would make him gush buckets and ruin those shorts. “Did I not do a good job filling you up yesterday?” Billy pulled Steve’s hips off the wall to get his hands on that perfect peach, where he knew it must have been difficult to sit down all day, what with how red and sore it looked the night previous. He felt Steve’s hips stutter for just a moment, hissing around a moan as his body wasn’t sure if it was pleasure or pain or both it wanted to express. Billy wanted to laugh. He did keep singing harder god please harder so had no one but himself to blame for the mess he was in.
“Too good,” Steve sighed out as Billy worked his hands down the back of that elasticated waist, past his own briefs Steve had stolen that morning, grabbing handfuls of tenderized meat and squeezing rough. The noise Steve made was exquisite, his hips starting to rock again faster and stronger, pushing forward and pushing back in equal measure with no set rhythm. Billy loved when he was like this, his little plaything, teetering on the edge of no return.
“Let me see baby,” he muttered, dripping with heat and desire. “Don’t wanna get your uniform all messy. Captain will be mad.”
Steve scrambled to push his shorts and briefs down just enough for the thick, gleaming head to pop free but the rest still be trapped and untouched, pushing his shirt up over his stomach, fingers trembling and lips quivering around a sound that couldn’t be kept quiet as Billy’s sucked on but now dry digit found his sailor’s well used hole. His cock throbbed visibly between them, pushing out more shiny clear liquid that threatened to stain Billy’s pale denim jeans. God it made Billy’s mouth water. And if he wasn’t rock hard before he definitely was now.
But later. That was for later. They were running out of time.
Billy worked his thigh harder still, trying to keep up with Steve’s erratic hips which was no easy job, drinking down his noises of pure ecstasy, until his whole body stuttered and tensed and he came with a cry that couldn’t be contained, creamy white come splashing up his torso and staining his already pale skin. Billy smirked like the devil, kissing Steve deeply as he tried to pant coming down, taking his hands out of his boy’s shorts, only just managing to tuck him away and let his shirt fall over the mess when the door swung open and there was eyeliner girl, right on time. As always.
Steve had the dignity and had regained just enough mental function to look embarrassed, even if he was still panting like a mutt trying to speak with Billy all up in his space, greedy for it all. No one laid eyes on his sailor boy.
“It’s… fuck… I’m sorry Rob…”
She stared back blankly at the two of them, setting a Burger King milkshake, if Billy had to hazard a guess it would be strawberry flavoured, on the counter they had back here, simply saying “You’re scraping the freezer tonight,” before going back through the door from where she’d came.
Billy didn’t let Steve stand back up straight away, even as he knew the messy spatter of come was starting to dry and cause the uniform to stick to his slender body. He cupped Steve’s cheek and kissed him, rough but sweet. As sweet as Billy did really. Steve melted for it each time. Another button. Another step of ruining.
“I’ll be waiting,” he said, getting Steve solid on his feet before letting go and walking away like he wasn’t painfully hard. The girl scowled at him blankly out front, especially when he took a cherry from the jar and grinned with it between his teeth while holding the stem, walking backwards out of the store and giving her a two finger salute from his forehead.
“Captain...”
Billy walked with purpose back to his car out front, having parked in his usual spot near the back where it wasn’t under one of the tall lights that illuminated most of the area, getting straight in to sit on his backseat and wait. He checked the time on his watch and lit up a well needed cigarette.
He had 45 minutes to wait for his little sailor to pull into harbour.
How Long Does A Tattoo Take To Heal?
Usually a tattoo heals in 4-6 months. Yeah, it takes around 4-6 months for a tattoo to get healed completely, which includes skin below the surface. However, on an upper layer, it generally takes around 2-3 weeks so that you can take a long bath, go swimming, or relax in a hot tub.
Also, healing time depends on how well you look after or take care of your new tattoo and the area of skin surrounding it. All in all, complete healing of all the layers of tattooed skin takes up to 4-6 months. But in 2-3 weeks your tattoo will appear healed from outside.
Well, this is about how much time usually a tattoo takes to get healed. But the question is – is there any way to reduce tattoo healing time.
Yes, there are many factors responsible for the times of your tattoo healing process. Let’s see what these factors are….
1. Picking or pulling premature scabs
The most important point that you should always remember after getting your tattoo is – DO NOT PULL your premature tattoo. When your tattoo is in healing stage it forms scabs, just like any other wound when healing forms a scab. No matter how much you feel like peeling it, DO NOT PEEL.
Actually healing wounds tend to create itching and sometimes this itching is too much. Scabs settle all by themselves with time, but if peeled off while healing or when they are premature, it will result to even more problematic situation. If you will pull of the scab, it will simply effect the layers deep within in which the tattoo ink has been set, which means that peeling off a scab in a premature state can pull ink away from the area, thereby leaving pits and colorless spots in your skin.
Also, peeling off thick scabs will also delay healing time significantly, thereby leading you to go for extra touch ups sessions from your artist.
2. Ignoring the excessive or heavy scabbing
However, scabbing is common on new tattoos, especially when a tattoo is big in size. Still, excessive or heavy scabbing covering large areas of a tattoo is not at all normal. By chance you see heavy scabbing surrounding your tattoo DO NOT IGNORE IT. Meet your tattoo artist, consult with him and ask what you can do. Similarly, with peeling skin, don’t try to pull it off. Let it fall off automatically, on its own.
3. Submerging new tattoo in water
Besides pulling off your scabs, another worst thing that delay the tattoo’s healing process is submerging it in water. New tattoo should be kept away from too much water and it is mandatory. After getting a tattoo keeping it in water is like harming your tattoo by yourself. You should avoid doing it at all cost. Submerging your new tattoo SHOULD BE AVOIDED for the first couple of weeks.
4. Exposing your tattoo to the sun
This can cause some severe damage to your new tattoo, believe you me! Nothing can be more harmful than getting your tattoo is exposed to the sun. Believe you me, your tattoo is very sensitive to UV rays of the sun during the first couple of weeks, and staying out in the sun exposure for a longer period can cause skin irritation and burns, which is not wise! It will not only affect your tattoo adversely, but also it will delay the healing process, which is the last thing that you would ever want.
5. Intense workout
Intense workout is another reason that affects your fresh tattoo adversely, amongst others. It is not at all advisable to go to the gym or perform any intense activity for at least a couple of days after getting your new tattoo. Basically, when you get a new tattoo your immune system get slightly week and overdoing anything will simply add to your tattoo’s healing time.
Besides, your gymnasium may not be completely clean or safe, in such a situation either you avoid gym for initial days or make sure your tattoo is properly covered so that there is no risk of infection. Moreover, weightlifting and cardio are very intense gym exercises that can cause your tattoo to rub against clothing, which can cause rashes and sores to develop, so watch out for this too.
Therefore, avoid going to the gym for a couple of days.
6. Not caring about infection
Usually, infections are rare, but if not taken care properly infection can happen anytime. Infections can really be dangerous to your tattoos. Once your tattoo gets affected by an infection, it eventually delays the time of its healing. Especially if a person is not so careful about the aftercare of the tattoo.
So, it is crucial that you take care of your tattoo properly so that it heals in time.
TATTOO AFTERCARE:
Here is how you should take care of your tattoo after getting it on your body. Believe you me, aftercare of your tattoo is as important as getting a tattoo itself.
1. Learn about aftercare in advance
First things first, while getting a tattoo it is crucial that you also learn how to take care of your tattoo properly so that you can avoid the risk of a tattoo infection completely. More often than not, after the treatment professional tattooists give you detailed and specific instructions on the proper post tattoo care, which you need to follow religiously.
Some of them even give specific ointment for applying on your tattoo. And if you do not care for your tattoo after getting it, you may encounter a myriad of skin issues such as rashes, tattoo infection, and skin keloids.
Knowing aftercare procedures in advance will help you identify a potential tattoo infection and take proper measures to avoid them from starting.
2. Keep your tattoo covered for first two hours
This will be instructed by your tattoo artist. Yes, you need to keep your tattoo covered for the first two hours after getting it done. Once you are back home, you can simply remove the bandage or wrapping after 2 hours so that the skin of the tattooed area can breathe. As the natural air ensures faster healing.
3. Keep the area moisturized and clean always
It is very crucial that you keep the area where you have got the tattoo moisturized and clean at all times. If you don’t do so, your tattoo will take longer to get healed. Understand, when your skin adjusts to the ink, it needs to be moisture so that stretch are settled properly.
Initially, you will experience raised skin in the tattoo area and shape of the tattoo, usually it appears as if a tattoo is been branded on your skin. But it is not so, it is natural for the first few days. Actually a normal swelling is natural as it is caused by the ink in the under layers of the skin.
4. Wear loose clothes
It is crucial that you wear loose-fitting clothing over your tattooed area at least at the initial stage of your tattoo. It will not only reduce the likelihood of rubbing, but also it will allow the tattoo to breathe more effectively, thereby speeding up healing times. Wearing clothes that are too tight clothes can make your tattoo rub against the clothing you wear, which eventually interrupt your tattoo’s healing process.
5. Avoid using too much of water and soap
For the first few days, make sure you don’t let water or soap directly touch the tattoo area. For cleaning your tattoo you can always use a warm washcloth. Do not over clean your tattoo, otherwise you will end up having a faded artwork, which is not wise.
6. Avoid direct exposure to the sun
It is very important that you avoid direct exposure to the sun. Of course I know that staying home all the time after getting a tattoo won’t be possible. But whenever you go out, make sure your tattoo is covered properly so that it is not exposed to the sun directly.
7. Avoid chlorine or salt water for at least 6-8 weeks
Chlorine or salt water can damage your tattoo significantly, so it is better to avoid chlorine or salt water on your tattoo.
8. Avoid using alcohol products
There are many lotions and ointments which are alcohol based. You should completely avoid using alcohol based products on or around the area where you have got the tattoo for a minimum of 4 weeks.
9. Avoid rubbing or picking skin
We tend to forget things easily. And in case of tattoo it happens many a time. People after taking bath forget they have a tattoo and they start rubbing the area carelessly, which is not wise. You should always keep in mind that rubbing your tattoo abrasively will damage it or affect it adversely.
10. Avoid scratching
Feeling itchy after getting a tattoo is normal, and it happens with almost everybody. And we know it is not easy to resist that feeling. But it is mandatory to avoid scratching your tattoo. Scratching your tattoo can lead to a distorted artwork on your body. Therefore, it is recommended to keep your skin moisturized always.
11. Avoid alcohol
Even if you feel like celebrating your artwork, please control your urge for at least two more days. You can have alcohol aftrer two-three days. Believe you me, two days delay won’t affect your celebration at all, in fact it would be better as you will be able to enjoy even more!
Also check: Why You Shouldn’t Drink Alcohol Before Or After Getting A Tattoo?
12. Avoid applying petroleum-based ointments
It is crucial that you are not enticed or tempted to use petroleum-based ointments or product on your newly etched tattoos. As petroleum-based ointments can suffocate your tattoo, thereby increasing the healing time of your tattoo. Also, make sure you do not keep your tattoo wrapped for too long as it can also cause a similar problem.
13. Apply ointment or moisturizer very gently
Make sure you apply ointment on and around your tattoo gently. Rub in soft, circular motions until the entire area is covered.
14. Avoid some specific material
While you get a new tattoo, make sure you avoid wearing latex, denim, leather, and rubber as these materials can cause intense itching or excessive sweating. Getting excessive itching or sweating is not good for your tattoo’s health. These materials will come in contact with your skin, rub against your tattooed area. And the prolonged or vigorous rubbing over your fresh tattooed skin will only deteriorate your fresh tattoo, which is again not wise.
15. Avoid going for a tattoo when you are not well
This is however, not an after care, in fact, it is before care that you should definitely consider. It is very important that you avoid going for a tattoo when you are suffering from illness like a cold or flu. These illnesses are short term in nature, in such situations it’s advised to postpone your appointment with the tattooist and wait until the illness has passed. It will not only help you have your tattoo healed on time, but also it will minimize the risk of passing any disease.
And if you are suffering from some serious health conditions, it is recommended ask your doctor before getting a tattoo. It is just to ensure that the tattooing process do not cause any adverse health effects.
Thanks for reading!!
Enjoy Tattooing….. ☺ ☺
