Steve spent 3 movies saving Bucky. He gave up everything for Bucky. Let’s start with the claim that Steve’s movies were only ever about Bucky. This statement takes any sort of agency away from Steve. You throw away every hardship, every conviction every bit of his personality and morals if all you boil it down to is Bucky. In your mind, Steve is no longer a character, no longer a person. He’s a dog who does whatever Bucky needs. Which is not true. He cares about Bucky yes. But Steve is not a servant to Buckys will.

Steve, even before knowing Bucky was alive, was against SHEILD and the use of the helicarriers. (Which means he was anti government control, are you with me so far or do I have to dumb it down further?) “This isn’t freedom, it’s fear.” Steve says to furry when he is first told about project insight. Steve’s mission throughout that movie, his main goal, is to stop project insight and to stop the corruption from undermining people’s freedoms (which he does all with his partner Sam, none of this would have been possible without someone who shared just as strong of a passion for all this as steve). Sorry to break your heart, but Bucky is second in all that. He wants to help Bucky too, but let’s not twist Steve’s priorities here nor make it seem like Steve can only care about one thing at a time.

It’s not even really in character for Sam so I’m not ganna entertain that point. It’s something I laugh off anyways cause thats the only evidence you weird stickies have against Sam after all these years cause yall can’t let shit go. Pathetic.

Now let’s flash forward to civil war, since again, you seem to suffer from amnesia and can’t remember anything about Steve that isn’t Bucky Bucky boo bear Bucky. Steve’s plot in civil war is stopping government oversight. He isnt thinking about Bucky 24/7 in the film. Bucky is merely pulled into it all by unfortunate circumstances. Hell, you could take Bucky out of this film and Steve’s morals would have STILL stayed the same; governments can’t be trusted with control over enhanced individuals nor should they have any say in the avengers. THATS Steve’s moral standing throughout the movie. That doesn’t change. And it’s doesn’t change for Sam either, who holds those EXACT same principles and distrust for overreaching authority figures. Steve, Sam, and Nat went on the run, not for Bucky, but because they refused to be apart of a system they ALL didn’t believe in.

Now let’s get into the whole friendship piece of it all, since by your definition friends should just blindly support and follow eachother wherever (did your parents never give you the “if your friends jump off a cliff are you jumping too” speech?).

Maybe this is just me, idk, but I have never believed in feeding my friends delusions. I am not ganna tell support every decision my friends make with a “yes queen!🤪” if that decision goes against my own morals and could cause them harm. You are a bad friend if you let the people you care about go through with choices that could do them harm or cause harm to others. Holding your friends accountable is important, it helps us all grow as people. Not being babied or placated or diluted into thinking every decision we make is good. That’s how echo chambers start and egos grow.

Steve and Bucky are grown adults. Steve, with everything we know about his character, would not just let Bucky do whatever, not without Steve shaking Bucky by the shoulders and giving him his two cents. If Bucky is making decisions that go against Steve morals and everything Steve fought to prevent, why does your underdeveloped brain think Steve would just do a magic 180 just for Bucky? Steve would be furious to hear that his best friend (by your own words) undid everything he worked so hard to maintain. And to think otherwise is absolutely ludicrous.

Besides, Steve is chasing a ghost. The Bucky we know is not the man who Steve knew in the 40s. Sam on the other hand, is a man who he has trusted the word of time and time again. Even before Steve spoke about the accords, SAM was the one who fought against them. Sam and Steve have ALWAYS been on the same side when it comes to the government having too much control. They don’t trust the government as far as they can throw them. Sam is also the only one Steve has ever listened to when it came to plans (stopping project insight and stealing Sam’s wings, listening to Sam when he told Steve to let the rest of team cap get arrested so Steve could get away, even providing group counseling during the blip, etc) so yes, I think Steve would absolutely side with Sam here.

You think Steve wouldn’t back the very man he hand picked to carry on the legacy of Captain America? The man who holds his same principles and beliefs? The man who is the rightful leader of the avengers and will lead his team with the very morals that Steve admired in Sam and believed in from the beginning?

While I do think that Tubbo was a bit over the top today in regards to making light of the lore, I think it’s mainly because he’s tired of this arc and how there isn’t a roleplayable response unless the eye workers permit there to be. It’s frustrating on a viewer and player level for sure.

Does that mean he had to be over the top? No, but I do think its good to keep in mind that Mike also was messing around during the lore today and in the dapper kidnapping stream, Phil did not give a shit that dapper was downed and kidnapped even after being told he was. I can find Tubbo making jokes at the eye workers funny and someone else can find it annoying, I personally had a problem when he kept speaking over Bagi today, he’s a human who does annoying things that I don’t like sometimes.

I think we all get a bit too defensive of our favs (absolutely guilty) and forget that we find other people doing the same thing annoying too. People can respond to lore however they want, especially when it’s impromptu lore like today.

We don’t have to be up in arms about everything and you don’t have to hate on someone for acting how another person acted in the past. Streamers do things we don’t like sometime because (surprisingly) they’re individuals! Who have their own reasons for doing the things they do. Sometimes it’s playing a certain game and sometimes it’s taking lore with a grain of salt. Maybe you like foolishs parenting style and hate Phil’s, that’s valid! Just remember that people can dislike foolishs parenting style too!

TLDR: it’s okay to critique tubbo for how he chose to interact with the lore today or how he interacts with sunny so long as you are okay with people saying the same thing about your streamer

The only reason that I’m tired of the buddie talk right now (and I’m buddie hive so don’t try to whack me) is that all of this talk may lead to nothing. There’s nothing being promised. there’s no clue to whether anything will happen this season or at all. But what’s happening? The flames are being stoked.

Interviews are being stripped down to quotes that exclude context to what’s really being said. & so what happens if buddie isn’t actually ever a thing (even though it could’ve been and I curse the day fox turned it down.) what if all this talk and hype from the fans leads to nothing? Some of yall buddie folks are not normal.

The issue is that bi!buck has turned into this perceived confirmation that buddie will happen. & I blame Tim and these journalists the most for it. Tim is playing in our faces tbh lmao. Obviously using stuff from fanfic and including it in the show. & these publications are looking for clickbait and engagement. It’s really grinding my gears.

& on the part of the fans, some of this chatter is overlooking the absolute refreshment that is this buck arc. Because a lot of you can’t take your buddie goggles off long enough to appreciate it. And the other half has made all this about Tommy. Im out here defending a white man who’s already a fan favorite. This is blasphemy. This ain’t the buddie show. It’s not the bucktommy show. holy fuck, this gives the zenin so much more lore than what we got in the manga. like the potential is right there to have this great inter-clan generational dispute and cold war but gege just breezes past it and then gets rid of it completely.

with all this cool new shut we’re getting about them, im almost glad that megumi was born a boy. like could you imagine just how much worse the zenin would have been to him if he was a girl? they already have the whole misogyny thing going for them and then their version of jesus pops up and it turns out that it’s a girl who wields their prized technique?

god, i can’t imagine just how much more controlling they would be towards megs, although im still not sure if the whole training until ur bones fall off would still happen. i feel like naoya would be different towards megs but we also know that the zenin are totally okay with incest so i hate where that would go.

See, I think the entire training until your bones fall off thing would still happen, but there would be an added layer of cruelty towards it. Because megumi was a little boy who was being trained in a way that even adults couldn’t have handled, so of course he spent a lot of time getting hit and a lot of time crumpling under the pressure and exhaustion. There are very, very few instances where he remembers actually leaving the training room on his own two feet. He usually was pushed until he collapsed and woke up later in the room they kept for him. But if he was a little girl in the same circumstances? They’d make every “failing” about her sex. They’d blame her being a girl for it and constantly use it as a source of sneering superiority.

It would also be bad because she would very much be seen as a source of descendants. Boy Megumi wouldn’t necessarily be exempt from that, but it would happen sooner for girl Megumi.

Bloodline is very important to the Zenin. Inheriting power, techniques—they want to continue the flow of power through the generations. And most of the Zenin clan (and the wider jujutsu world) believe that Megumi is the most powerful Zenin alive right now, if not Gojo’s equal, and the only reason why hes being graded as a Grade Two sorcerer is because gojo’s purposefully sabotaging his development. Like. Mindset is a huge amount of jujutsu ability. Yuuta went from getting beaten up by normal high schoolers to having some combat ability but needing inumaki to handle a semi grade one to being the second most powerful person alive in the span of a few months. He absolutely blitzed the previous second most powerful person alive when he would have lost that same fight a few hours previous. There’s a lot of people convinced Megumi’s on Gojo’s level but he’s been keeping him on a leash since childhood. But the powers still there in his blood.

That’s power the Zenin want to pass on, regardless of gender. But as a boy, Megumi’s got a little bit more leeway—men are accepted as warriors first in the clan, and age won’t affect his ability to procreate. If megumi was a girl? She’s got that goddamn biological clock ticking down. As the ten shadows, I think the Zenin would still expect her as a warrior, but they’d also have a fucking quota she needs to fill before the clock hits zero. And they’d have some very proprietary concerns about making sure no one outside of the clan has a chance to become involved with her. They’d want her to stay within the clan with her partners. And they’d be absolutely creepy and weird about how they went about it. It’s a little bit of a mercy that Megumi’s a boy.

Rn when I think about Bluebelle the most is when I’m trying to think of ways to introduce her to the rest of the jellicles or to keep her on the brinks. I’ll probably never actually write anything, but I like to have the story my head concretely.

I’ll prolly do more art of her or Bluebeard in the future but whether or not I’ll post it is anyone’s guess. Bluebeard is a character that I basically stole from 17th-18th century storytellers but I still adore his design so fucking much. Sorry guys I cat-ified your fairy tale villain.

I guess I’ve sort of slid to the funny side of oc headcanons lately because in my head I keep referring to Bluebelle Vicci and Plato as Bluebelle, her girlfriend, and her girlfriend’s boyfriend.

Funny enough, Herobrine was my first nickname. I’ve had A LOT of others. Some people shorten Herobrine to Hero which is fine!

I’ve also been called MC, which was short for Minecraft, by one friend years ago. I’ve been called Wolf as well by kids in high school because of how I was around people and when I was alone.

I’ve always enjoyed Herobrine as a nickname and fits me well more so than it used to. Although Furby is a funny nickname but not the worst one I’ve heard. I knew a dude called Swamp before and there was a reason for that.

I love Divine CEO, I do love a lot of LuLu’s music. Incredibly underrated and I hope more people discover their music! Shame they’re dealing with some asshats doxxing their fans in VRChat atm…

As for when I started simping for Bob… oh that’s a tough one because it kinda just happened? I watched the short when it came out and was pretty excited for more Spooky Month. Tender Treats ended up being my final consideration for sticking with the series as I liked how Bob became the staple for: Oh shit, this guy is actually dangerous and this is becoming more serious.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed when Bob died because I figured he was gonna be a returning villain and I did recognize him as the demon guy from the original Spooky Month which was very cool! I tend to binge the old episodes before jumping to the new ones. I also rewatch it numerous times during October (SPOOKY MONTH!!!)

I was watching it with my friends and even introducing one friend to it which something kinda just clicked with Bob. When the episode originally came out I was still exploring who I was and what I liked. Turns out I like dangerous people and masked people as well! Plus the voice really drew me in, I have a thing for accents and country men is a bit of a weakness among other things. Plus… big boys need more love. I am a big gal irl, and I love people with fluff and meat on their bones.

So rediscovering my love for Spooky Month helped me realize I liked Bob as my favorite character! I mean, I liked him before and he was already my favorite villain. I decided to look up art and VRChat avatars. Thus falling into the deep rabbit hole of Bob enjoyers. Ngl, little sad he’s so popular because I’m not a fan of extremely popular characters.

Plus most people ship him with themselves or OCs, I tend to be… possessive of things I enjoy which is just a me issue due to abandonment problems. I don’t let it dictate how I treat anyone, of course.

Gotta say though, again, glad he’s loved. Everyone in the fandom is usually rather sweet about him but also bully him. But the art I see of him is amazing and I’m glad to see it. One to two time episodes characters that don’t come back tend to get overlooked. Plus him being plus sized usually makes it worse, but this fandom has been quite the opposite about it.

I mean the guy has four dating sims! Two of which are still in production! But anyways, sorry for the long winded response. Y’all are welcome to ask more questions as I’m an open book!
