it’s nearly second nature when you lift your head up or your energy picks up just from sensing his presence in a room. you don’t even notice how your head ends up on his shoulder whenever you sit together, or how easy it is to say “i love jeno!” whenever he’s brought up when he’s not around. it’s so easy to excuse the emptiness in your heart for having a bad day when it’s really because he’s not with you, and on top of that not even in a romantic way.

loving jeno comes so easy to you that when your friends accuse you of being in love with him, your heart rate quickens and your cheeks heat as you quickly shoot down the idea. it’s so easy and so natural that whenever you’re upset you look at old videos and photos of him your smile comes back like it never left. whenever you miss him you can ask to facetime or for him to send a photo and he always says yes.

loving jeno is so easy that when you call him your favorite nickname, jenjen, that he always says he hates, you feel a sense of pride knowing he won’t let anyone else call him that. when you ask him to get something or do something for you, he’ll do it without question, but if your friends ask that of him he’ll say for them to do it themselves. your heart flutters at the exclusivity of his affections.

loving jeno is so easy that you always know how he feels or what he needs. for almost any of your other friends, you have a folder in your notes app that consists of their likes and dislikes or any other info on them. with jen you don’t even have to think twice about it. there’s a pout on his lips? you already know to scoot next to him and give him a hug. he’s upset? all he wants is your company. let him rest his head in your lap and maybe take a nap. don’t worry about asking him to let his thoughts out, you already know he will when he’s ready and you’re the only set of ears his worries will fall upon.

“jen i really can’t hide it anymore so i just have to tell you okay? please don’t be mad i don’t care what your response is just listen, okay? i really, really like you jen. more than a friend does. at this point, i’m already sure i love you. i don’t care whether or not you reciprocate, because i really just love you so much.” you sniffle, a tear dropping from your eye. “i really can’t hold it in so i’m sorry, but i love you so much and i really want to be more than just your best friend so please-“ jeno cuts you off with a soft call of your name, your real one.

“please, you didn’t have to work yourself up so much. i feel the same way. i should’ve been more obvious.. don’t you know i’m only this way with you?” he smiles, the hand on your thigh moving up to your cheek to wipe your tears.

I think at the beginning, Grian would actually make an effort to make eyes instead of having them just be hollow sockets... not necessarily that he's trying to hide that he's a watcher, he just didn't want to freak out the others.

When he joined Hermitcraft S6, he did the entire "I'm gonna take your mustache away" bit with Mumbo. He actually did end up taking his mustache away, only to reveal that the mustache IS Mumbo Jumbo (my mental image of this is just him holding on to the mustache going all "YES. I DID IT! I TOOK HIS MUSTACHE!" Only for the mustache to suddenly go "Well this is incredibly rude" and Grian immediately flings him to the other side of the room out of surprise).

As for Scar, Grian had always known that he refers to himself and Cub as vexes, but he always assumed that he said it as like a bit, or maybe that he has a vex lineage or is a hybrid of some kind. My headcanon rn on how G found out is that one day, Grian went and spooked Scar so hard from a prank or something that he went through an out-of-body experience (literally) and just, seperated the vex out of the body. Scar is just "Oh gosh, that scared the life out of me (haha get it)" and Grian is just looking at him like. "Wait you're an actual vex." Meanwhile Scar is looking at him all confused saying "??? You didn't know???"

And how Scar & Mumbo found out abt Grian... I like to think that Grian eventually kinda forgot that the others dont know and just think whatever he's doing is normal. Im thinking Scar goes to complain to Grian one day, and the convo would go something along the lines of:

"Im so hungry but i dont have a body to eat."

"Oh. You can just eat one of my bodies, i think this one's gonna expire soon anyways."

"What."

"What?"

Eventually, Grian clocked in on the fact that "Oh yeah. Im actually not normal i forgot about that." And just kinda ditched the entire appearing human look and got rid of the eyes so he could have easy access to get in and out of the body if he wanted to.

Yeah.. my headcanon is that they never really meant to hide it or anything. There has just been a lot of not knowing and miscommunication going on 😭 this might change in the future though, idk !!

One never sleeps or rather he sleeps very little, being the head of the company, he has many things to look after, constantly on calls, looking through papers etc, as such he gets very little sleep. However, he probably has a set 'bedtime' for his sibling, especially on weekdays.

So when he sees his sibling crack open the door, he's a bit surprised. He sets down his papers, getting up from his chair , wondering why you stumbled into his room.

Being the eldest he was never there to see you cowering under the blankets when your parents fought, he was probably right there with your parents trying to either break up the fight or making sure they never went near where he knew his siblings were hiding. As such, he probably assumes you just happened to be scared of just the storm, not aware it brings back unpleasant memories.

Probably won't come to cuddle immediately, he tells you to go curl up on his bed and that he has a few things to look after but it doesn't take long for him to realise how much you toss and turn in the bed, pulling the blankets over your head.

For once, One decides to head to bed early or atleast try to, being accustomed to sleep schedule, he probably spends a while, still looking at his papers, absentmindedly brushing his fingers through your hair/holding your hand until he finally feels tired enough to lay down.

Very awkward while cuddling, he's so unnaturally stiff, it's horrible , half the time he sleeps like he's dead but also a very light sleeper as a result of his childhood, if he hears you having any nightmares, he's quick to wake you up, even if it ruins his sleep.

Two is probably the only person who takes time to wind down after every day, at night you'll probably see him using face masks while reading whatever catches his interest.

Two knows very well why you came into his room, he was the one to look after you and the others, making sure to usher all of you away from the mess, making sure all of you kept quiet, taking the blame for most things just so three of you could escape from their wrath.

Two pats the space next to his bed, letting you just lay there talking to him/ in silence, probably giving you a mask as well and don't worry, he'll remove it too.

Will probably read whatever he was reading to you or ramble about the things his students did or gossip he managed to overhear from his college.

Two doesn't sleep until he knows you're asleep as well. He is probably the best brother to cuddle with, the fluffiest blankets, the softest sheets and not to mention, he isn't as stiff as One is lol

Two does everything he can to make sure you sleep through the night without any problem. He wasn't able to protect his siblings from the aftermath of a ruined house but he'll be damned if he lets any of them suffer through it alone.

Three is probably the only person who sleeps early in the house, hell, he'll sleep through anything, nothing wakes him up.

You could just slip into the bed and he wouldn't notice until he woke up or you should wake him up first, although it takes a lot of effort.

He moves to the side so you can get in, draping the blanket over you before going right back to sleep. Three was never around to see that many fights, anything he saw a fight start up he'd walk out of the house, not coming back until much later.

But he's not stupid, he'll pick up if the storm makes you uncomfortable with the way you won't stay still. He'll be quick to pull you into a hug, mumbling at you to shut up and go to sleep (what an arse)

He probably has earplugs laying around somewhere and it the storm bothers you that much, he'll begrudgingly get up and find them for you.

Checks up on you in the morning instead, apologizing for really getting up and being there for you. If you didn't sleep well, he'll offer to find some excuse to give One so that you can stay home and sleep and he'll take you out somewhere on the weekends to make up for it.

Four being around the same age has also probably picked up unpleasant memories returning with loud noises, always being on his guard as a young child around his parents, making sure the both of you were never near them when an argument started.

If you walk into his room, you'll probably find him with his headphones on watching/playing something to keep him distracted from the storm.

Sleep doesn't come easy for him and even if it does, it's always plagued with nightmares, so tries to avoid going to sleep most of the time.

The moment you walk into the room he understands what's going on and moves over so you can join him on the bed to watch whatever he's watching, even if it means sacrificing his headphones for you.

If he's playing something, he'll ask you to join him and once again, hand the headphones to you so you can't hear the storm brewing outside. He lets you play whatever you want or if you don't want to play, he'll do it for you.

Once he notices you're asleep, he'll probably find some playlist for you to listen too before tucking you into bed. He'll gladly sacrifice his headphones and his sleep as long as your okay.

i’m not sure where exactly to start, but i suppose you’re probably wondering how yn finds out about the whole vampire thing, so that’s where i’ll start..

basically, you know how san has blood intolerance and specifically needs type O negative blood? yeah so there’s a shortage at some point and he doesn’t have access to it. over time he gets sicker and sicker but he’s afraid of telling the guys that he’s running out of his personal stash; he doesn’t wanna worry them. of course, once it’s too bad they obviously notice and he confesses it. whole of the guys travel around to look for blood bags, while the other ones stay and take care of san.

obv, yn has no idea what’s going on so she’s both worried and just like ??? through some connections, yeosang is able to access medical files of people that attend their uni (he paid a shit load of money he’s standing on business fr) and starts looking for people with that blood type, just in case. he just so happens to stumble across yn’s file in his search, who has exactly what they need.

after a conversation with the guys, they decide to admit to what they are. when the conversation comes around, yn kinda giggles and thinks it’s a joke, however after a long conversation, she’s convinced. and so after hearing about san’s state and what he needs to get better, she doesn’t have to think twice about offering herself.

anyways san gets better after that and the guys n yn grow closer than ever.

as for the climax

her friend, daniel, is also a vampy and is lowk obsessed with her but has been able to hide it alarmingly well. when he notices just how close she is to the guys, he tries his hardest to tuin their relationship and even kidnaps her (that might not be right because idk if it counts as kidnapping but i can’t think of a better word rn).

after like two days the guys realise they hadn’t heard from their fav girl in too long so some of them head to her apartment to check on her except she’s not there cuz she’s in a random cabin in the middle of a random forest with daniel.

throughout her stay there, while the guys are splitting themselves in half tryna find her, she grows more and more uneasy and tries to leave. daniel refuses to let her go and chains her up.

meanwhile, the guys interrogate her other friends to figure out where they could’ve possibly gone (they’ve alway smelled something fishy about daniel so it wasn’t hard to figure out who was responsible for her disappearance). sangmi mentions the cabin their little group goes to on some weekends, and then they’re immediately speeding to get there.

they kill daniel and save yn yay!

you’re probably also wondering how their romance ends up so..

obviously as time progresses, they all slowly but surely fall in love with yn and vice versa. for hongjoong tho, he was in denial for a long time. after the saved her he realised wow i rlly fucking like this girl and that scared him so he subconsciously distanced himself. he was partially afraid of losing her again bc he blames himself heavily for what happened to her and the trauma it cause for… certain reasons…

everyone caught on but the guys were aware of why but yn wasn’t cuz she’s a bit oblivious so one day she finds him in his room and decides to just ask what’s going on cuz she finally got him to look at her for the first time in like two weeks. she was afraid he was mad at her, and prepared herself for the worst, but then comes his 10 minute monologue confessing everything he feels and mentioning that the others feel the same way.

he’s crying but the end of his monologue and she can’t think of anything else to do but kiss him. anyways it’s a rlly cute scene i actually wrote it already cuz i was so excited for it.

and then after that they all gather to talk abt the elephant in the room and after a brief discussion they’re all dating and they live happily ever after.

the familiar rhythm had you pausing your thousandth re-read of the breakup. you'd since blocked him - phone number, instagram, discord, tiktok, spotify - anything you had shared, he had been blocked on. but you had screenshot the breakup. you had saved all the discord messages - how had you not realized mainly messaging on discord was strange? how had it taken so long?

you tossed your phone somewhere onto your bed and crawled out from under the sheets. your curtains were drawn, so he couldn't see inside, and for a moment you considered not responding. staying in your little cave, rotting away from the inside.

"hey, love," he said, taking a seat on the fire escape and bringing a knee to his chest. "you wanna let me in?"

a small huff, almost of laughter. "'nd i'm a hero," he said dryly.

you were both quiet for a minute, only hearing each other's breaths through your respective phones. then;

both of you stopped as soon as you started. then hobie laughed softly, sounding warmer.

"you go, dove."

you were quiet for a moment. hobie didn't know if you were gathering your thoughts or if you had muted yourself.

"i'm.. i'm not in the mood. for people," you said, running a hand over your head raggedly. "i'm sorry."

"good thing i'm not people, hm?"

you scoffed. "hobie, i'm being serious. i can't right now."

he merely hummed in response. it sent a twinge to your heart- a reminder of the time he'd held you in the darkness of your room, held you while you were falling apart, and hummed until you fell asleep. had that really been just a few months ago?

"just open the window," he was saying, interrupting your train of thought. belatedly, almost sadly, he added; "please."

"sorry about the mess," you mumbled, flitting about the room to shove your clothes into a basket and shove the basket into the closet. your shelf was lined with half-finished water bottles and sodas. a bottle of melatonin gummies sat on your bedside table, right beside a small case of tums.

"your room ain't the mess i came here about," hobie said, plopping onto your unmade bed. you winced. the sheets were rumpled and hadn't been changed in at least two weeks, but hobie didn't seem to care.

you continued cleaning once you realized he was fine with your sheets, shoving the mess of papers and homework on top of your desk into it instead.

"love," hobie called, and you heard him shifting on the bed. you ignored him, trying to hide the evidence of your grief. "y/n," he tried. you still ignored him.

noah: in short: i'm sorry i've hurt you. i've never intended to do such thing, but things do happen the way they do. i do acknowledge the fact that i've been really off the rails lately and that doesn't discount the fact that it's aimed at you. it's not fair in any shape or form, attempts were made several times yet i continued to ignore it. i thought we'd go far, but alas it comes short. we both equally need to work on ourselves, and we learned something. this for sure will be a bitter pill to swallow because your my longest one now, im not sure what to think but i'll make my attempts. you were good to me each and every single day, i'll appreciate that about you. i can't properly word it anymore, but i still am sorry for the hurt i caused you.

"y/n," hobie was saying, waving a hand in front of your face. you jumped, realizing you'd zoned out.

"what?" you asked, sounding tired. so tired.

he stared at you for all of three seconds before pulling you into him, wrapping his arms around you.

you didn't realize how badly you'd needed a hug until you were wrapped in his arms, your face tucked into his chest. small sobs clawed their way out your throat, muffled against his shirt.

you: are we done?

you: officially?

noah: i said tomorrow.

"just breathe," hobie murmured, rubbing his hand along the back of your neck. you weren't sure how you'd ended up on your bed, half in his lap, but you didn't particularly care.

noah: yeah, sure

noah: tomorrow for me, today for you.

"you wanna talk about it?"

you shook your head, your fingers finding purchase in the back of his shirt.

"just.. just hold me. for a little bit," you requested quietly, hating the sniffle that escaped.

hobie hummed softly, laying back on your bed and bringing you with him.

you: very well then

noah: can i at least call you tomorrow then

you: i dont know

you: we'll see

noah: okay. until then

when you woke up, the sky was dark.

you sat up in a panic, trying to remember what had happened; rereading the texts, hobie interrupting, laying down, then-

"love?" groaned a familiar voice. beside you, hobie shifted, his hand moving over the bed in search of something. when he found your waist, he pulled you against him, wrapping his arm around you. "what's up?"

"i.. i fell asleep?" you asked, trying to stay up but eventually succumbing to his insistent tugging.

hobie hummed in acknowledgement, his chest rumbling against your back. "we both did," he corrected. "you feelin' alright?"

you shrugged, stifling a yawn against your hand. "i.. i'd say i'm fine," you said weakly.

hobie's arm tightened around you. "bull."

you huffed a humorless laugh. "i am, hobie. i just- i just was thinking. about stuff."

"people who're fine ain't break down the second they get a hug," he pointed out. "so spill."

it took you thirty minutes to get through it all. to show him the texts, to let him see how pathetic you had been. why couldn't you have done it with more authority? with more confidence? it was your relationship too. was, at least.

"i'm proud of you."

the words had your head snapping up to look at hobie, who was staring straight back at you. indeed, pride shone in his eyes. he set your phone down on the bed, reaching for you instead.

"you shouldn't be," you muttered. "i should've used the text you drafted."

hobie snorted, tucking his head into the crook of your neck. "really? you'd have used my little old text?"

draft: i aint got time or patience for a flake like you. used to love you, now im breaking up with you. id say nice to know you but its more of a waste.

"probably not," you admitted with a huff of a laugh. "i just- i dunno. i wish i could have stood up for myself. like, properly defended myself from the beginning."

"you learned," hobie said, rubbing his hand over your back. "you ain't gonna get it right first time, angel."

"i guess."

quiet blanketed the two of you - nothing like the tense, uncomfortable silence that had blanketed your and noah's calls; no, this silence was easy. comfortable. you could feel yourself beginning to be pulled into sleep, nestled against his form.

"love." you groaned. "love," hobie said again. "can i ask you something?"

you flipped him off and burrowed into him, making a mental note to wash your sheets in the morning. "what's up?"

he was quiet for a moment. then; "do you.. do you miss him?"

the question had you stiffening. no. no, you would never miss him again. there was nothing to miss. it had been painful, almost every minute of it.

"no," you said, your answer resolute. "absolutely not."

hobie heaved a sigh - was that relief? - and tightened his hold around you. "good. good," he said, brushing a kiss to your shoulder. "then i'm takin' you out tomorrow, dove, 'cause you deserve a break."

"what?" you asked, pulling back to face him- oh, his face was so close. his gaze dipped, then returned to your eyes, and you felt heat sear across your cheeks. "i'm- i'm not in any state to go out, hobie."

"deal with it," he said stubbornly, tucking you against his chest, laying down with you, and pulling the blanket up to wrap around the two of you. "you can complain afterwards. just let me take care of my person."

you were both quiet until hobie cursed as he realized he'd let something slip.

"i'm your someone?" you asked. "hobie-"

"shut up or i'll tickle you," he threatened.

".. you wouldn't."

hobie pulled away to lean over you, his gaze intense. "in the morning, dove, you're gonna get dressed up. you're gonna shower. i'm gonna take you out. and i'll explain anything you want then. okay?"

the intensity of his gaze had you feeling shy. you jerked your chin in a nod, which seemed to satisfy hobie.

his lips pressed against your forehead. "good. now sleep," he said. "and tomorrow, you have a hot date."

this is the last one, i'm thinking - might do an epilogue, but we'll see.

some fun facts!

the texts included in this - except for the draft - were actual texts literally copy pasted from my breakup with my ex, noah. we dated from nov 2 2022 to mar 12 2023 (i have a weird knack for remembering dates okay) and it was my first relationship, and therefore what inspired this entire series.

the first part was released on a vacation with my ma and my sis where i was being very reminiscent and felt like taking a dive into the past.

the second part was released a month after my second ex (sep 6 2023 to jun 16 2024) dumped me (over text, crazy karma) and was my way of starting the healing process - the texts in part ii are inspired by my second relationship, but it mainly follows the actions of my first one.

and now, part iii, i am releasing after my brother yelled at me and an altogether exhausting day.

at some point in eyho, i want them to get kinda closer but not super close.. like not best friends but close enough for them to hangout together with ben and nina every now and then.

anywho I want their friendship to be kind of a plot device (i hope thats the right term) because Jack getting jealous of Jeff is how he stops being in denial about his feelings 😼

it's not a love triangle because jeff and val are genuinely just friends, the main conflict between the three of them is just jack being a stupid idiot for a bit until he finally accepts that he's in love 😭

HOWEVER! jeff and jack do have a physical fight over it. for some reason emo idiots fighting is my favorite trope in everything. i'll just write what happens in bullet points bc it'll be easier lawl

jack realizes jeff and val are becoming closer friends and he gets platonically and romantically jealous (because val is like his only friend and he has feelings for her, though he's in HEAVY denial)

after like a week and a half of trying to hide the fact that he feels his relationship with val is threatened, all the conflicting emotions swirling around in his head end up boiling over and he ends up confronting jeff in the forest when he's out for a smoke

at first jack doesn't say anything he just kinda stares like a weirdo because he's a complete idiot when it comes to feelings and he genuinely has no idea what he wants to say

and then as jeff is asking him "dude are you okay" jack just.. punches him. and then when jeff starts yelling like "WHAT THE FUCK MAN" jack is just like "oh my god im so sorry i was NOT thinking"

and then jeff punches him and normally jack would win that fight but he just kinda lets it happen because he feels like he deserves it (he kinda does atp) and then after awhile both of them just sit down with bloody noses and bruised knuckles

and then after like 20 seconds of silence jack just says "i think i'm in love with valerie." and jeff just replies "is that seriously what this is over"

anyways thats about it 😊 i havent really figured out what happens after that so :P

i really dont remember if i made a post about how jack and val met before so i'll just try to briefly explain how it happened

jack already knew about val because she stabbed jeff out of fear when she became a proxy (poor girl was confused and scared it was her first time being fully concious in like 3 years) and obviously that caused kind of a scene 😭

but they offically met a day or two after that. Jack was going to go to her room as soon as she became a proxy and just kinda wander around her forest but Slenderman stopped him and basically said "You're probably just gonna scare the daylights out of her if she's awake, I don't really want anyone to bother her rn" and then Jack's like "yeah that probably makes sense"

Slender told him he should wait at least two days for her to relax but for a reason I havent really figured out yet Jack is REALLY curious about her. Or he's just extremely lonely and bored.

So the day after Val joins the mansion Jack goes to her forest and he was just planning to walk around and not go to her room, but as soon as he steps foot she tries to attack him lol

After like a minute of tussling and Jack trying to tell her he's not a threat she ends up biting his hand and messing up his thumb. The bite ends up startling him enough that he just pauses and looks at his hand for a few seconds until he looks up and realizes that she ran away. Anyways he just ends up leaving since he doesn't want to scare her again and when he's back at his room he just stares at his hand and then he suddenly feels like.. happy. Basically he didn't think there would be anyone else like him ever but meeting Val kinda changed his perspective.. hopefully that makes sense.

I think Val would be kind of weirded out by Emiko at first, but more in a curious way than in a freaked out way. Like i genuinely think Val would be so fascinated by Emiko lmao.

This was not good.

It was supposed to be a normal day, but of course, something had to go wrong. The thunder was too loud, too near, too…. Familiar. And Apis was not a fan.

He could feel tears building up in his eyes and his own grip on reality or any sense quickly slipping away as he tried to find somewhere to hide from it all.

He had stupidly forgotten his house keys, and Adonis was working that day so he couldn't unlock the door for him, leaving him in a bad situation of having to wait for hours to go home. And it sucked.

But just as he was about to break down, he heard a voice he had grown fond of over the past few months. "Apis? Are you okay?" Saki asked her friend, visibly worried about him.

Apis looked to his friend and tried to muster a smile but miserably failed, letting tears fall as he clung onto her.

"Please… don't let them hurt me again. I can't go back, I can't, they'll hurt me, I just know it. I'm dead if they find me, please don't make me go back… help me, please." He mumbled through his tears, he couldn't control himself when he was like this. He felt embarrassed, embarrassed that he was breaking down like this and having a breakdown in front of someone he considered a good friend.

Surprisingly to him, Saki had not pushed him away, instead pulling him closer and taking him to her house. Despite her knowing little to nothing about what he was talking about, she still comfored him. "It's okay, I won't let them take you. You'll be safe here."

By the time they had both entered her room, Apis had fainted from panic, leading Saki to lend him her bed and pull the covers over him whilst she went to get something for the both of them to eat and drink.

Nobody was home today so it left her to watch over her friend without interruptions. Suddenly, his phone received a message.

Adonis: That thunder is really loud isn't it? Hope you're ok❤️

Yikes, it was going to be complicated to explain that Apis wasn't actually seeing this message and that he had passed out. But Saki did it in the best way she knew how to.

Apis: this is Saki Tachibana, a friend of Apis from school! He's at mine rn bc he got scared by the thunder and he's sleeping thru it srry do you want me to wake him up? :)

Adonis: no, it's fine. It's nice to know that he has many good friends now. Or maybe you're more than friends🤨? Jkjk

Was Apis's dad trying to suggest that they were… dating?! Saki had never even considered dating him! However..

She did find him very kind and cute. And it was so fun messing with his hair, it was always so soft and he always reacted so cutely when she accidentally touched his neck when playing with his hair with his little giggle and nose scrunch followed by his insistence that he was most definitely not ticklish on his neck despite him obviously being so. And his face was attractive as well, she had thought of kissing him before…. Wait, kissing?!

Okay, so she might like him, but there was no way that he felt the same!

Apis: omfg no💀 were not dating but Im flattered that you think I cud end up with sum1 like him XD

Adonis: uh huh, sure thing lol. If he isn't up or still at yours by half 4 then give me your address and I'll come for him.

Apis: will do.

A few hours later, Apis stirred awake and looked around before seeing Saki and realising what just happened. "Ah, Saki! I'm sorry for falling asleep in your bed, it won't happen again!" "Haha! It's fine, you were scared and you needed it, I don't mind." Saki smiled, handing him a rice ball.

"I assumed that you'd be hungry when you woke up so I made some rice balls for you, do you like it?" Apis took a bite and smiled back at her, blushing slightly. "Mmhmm! It's really nice, thank you."

There was that look again, that smile and those rosy cheeks. And those eyes… it made Saki truly realise her feelings for him.

She loved him, she actually loved someone again. She didn't even think she could love like this after her last relationship, but here she was, basking in Apis's presence, loving his existence, loving being around him.

Nope, she had to stop herself there. She was supposed to be looking after him, she could crush over him another time! "Hey, are you thirsty? I have some apple juice downstairs that I can go get if you want." Apis nodded and followed her to the kitchen, holding her hand to keep his balance stable

Saki could just feel herself overheating, his hands were strangely soft in comparison to her rough ones up, they felt like heavenly buttercream to her and she adored it.

But all of a sudden, she heard whimpering coming from him as he pulled his hand back, covering his white eye. "It must be that scar again! But how can I help him?" Saki thought, coming to a reckless conclusion.

She held his wrists gently so as to not hurt him, leant near his face and placed a gentle kiss on his white eye and scar, gaining a squeak from him. "E-Eh?! Saki, what are you doing?.."

"Oh shit! I am so sorry, I didn't know what to do and I thought that if I kissed it then the pain would go away! That was really stupid, I'm so sorry again." Saki apologised profusely before Apis interrupted. "You don't have to apologise! I… um.. actually kind of liked it.. it made me feel safe, and warm and fuzzy inside and I don't know why.. is there something wrong with me?"

Saki widened her eyes, could he feel the same thing towards her as she did to him? She had to test it.. "Hey, is it okay if I try something? You can stop if you feel weird or uncomfortable."

Apis nodded his head. Granted, he didn't know what was going to happen, but he put all of his faith and trust in Saki.

She leant near his face again, kissing his lips as she closed her eyes. She was taken by positive surprise when she felt Apis kiss back slightly, so he did feel the same way! His lips were just as soft as the rest of him, it was clear that they had been bitten out of anxiety and overall stress,but it wasn't unpleasant, it was kind.

Apis pulled away to catch his breath, his cheeks now a bright red. "I.. enjoyed that… a lot. I think that I… love you."

Saki smiled wide, her cheeks the same as his as she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him I to a hug. "I love you too, Apis."
