man I have Got to go back to living with friends. or even friendly strangers. this living alone shit is *bad for me*
#Idk my life doesn't physically intersect with anyone's anymore#Especially cause we're in a real lull at work and I haven't had to actually do anything for weeks#I would LOVE to be told to do some tedious project that would keep me in the lab for hours at a time#Cause if I'm not even interacting with people at work I'm literally not speaking to another human irl ever#Ofc I have many friends online but#It is so very easy to stop showing up online and much harder to vanish from like a shared apartment

✨ DISCLAIMER: science, subjectivity & shifting
. ★⋆. ࿐࿔ ✦ . . ˚ .ੈ✧̣̇˳·˖
i acknowledge that not everyone reading my “science of shifting/law of assumption” posts comes from a scientific background — or even wants to dive deep into technical explanations of the topics discussed. that’s totally okay. the content here is intentionally simplified to make core ideas more accessible, while still staying true to the scientific literature and experimental evidence cited at the end of each post.
if you’re curious to explore further, i always encourage you to read the original papers yourself — the sources are there for a reason! 🫶 my posts blend scientific findings with spiritual and metaphysical interpretation, bridging quantum physics, neuroscience, and manifestation/shifting philosophy in a way that reflects how i’ve personally experienced and understood their connection.
additionally, this isn’t a replacement for formal science — it’s an interpretive lens, a lived perspective on how consciousness interacts with reality. i write to offer clarity and reassurance, but remember: you don’t need “proof” in the traditional sense (like experiments or data charts) to believe in shifting or to experience your own power.
you ARE the proof. your subjective experience of reality is the experiment.
furthermore, science, as powerful and essential as it is, has natural limits. it cannot fully access or measure the metaphysical, spiritual, or energetic realms (whatever name resonates with you), because they transcend the physical 3D. science can only measure the projection — not the source.
it cannot yet describe the quantum field in its full multidimensionality, and it absolutely cannot quantify your unique, lived experience of reality.
that’s why concepts like shifting and law of assumption are, in a way, eternally undebunkable in the traditional scientific sense. they exist in a space that science, as a way of knowing, can’t directly access, and that’s okay.
so if you’re here looking for conventional evidence to “prove” shifting or manifestation in a materialist, lab-confirmed sense — you won’t find it. and that’s not a flaw. that’s the nature of reality itself.
science and spirituality are not opposites. they are two sides of the same coin. two perspectives trying to describe the same infinitely complex field of potential we call reality.
you’re allowed to trust your experience of that, even when it defies measurement.
. ★⋆. ࿐࿔ ✦ . . ˚ .ੈ✧̣̇˳·˖
and finally — if concepts like shifting or the law of assumption don’t resonate with you, that’s okay! as i always emphasize: reality is subjective. you get to shape yours, just as i shape mine.
if this content doesn’t align with your beliefs, that’s totally valid! but it might also mean this page simply isn’t for you, and that’s okay too. i lovingly ask that you refrain from negative interactions or debate just for the sake of conflict.
i’m always open to clarifying or expanding on what i’ve written, sharing how i personally interpret the scientific + spiritual correlations i’ve come across. but i’m not here to entertain dismissiveness, arguments, or “gotcha!” energy from people who aren’t open to this perspective in the first place.
this is not a peer-reviewed scientific journal — it’s literally a blog about the law of assumption, reality shifting, and manifestation. if that’s not for you, that’s totally okay. that’s your reality — not mine.
i do my best to protect my peace and the energetic tone of this online space. this blog is about love, light, empowerment, and possibility — not convincing skeptics or debating people who’ve already decided they don’t believe in it.
so if you’re here with curiosity, openness, or the desire to expand your understanding of self + reality, you’re always welcome. if not, that’s okay too.
love and light either way! <3
. ★⋆. ࿐࿔ ✦ . . ˚ .ੈ✧̣̇˳·˖
🤍 p.s. i had a brief version of this disclaimer on my “science of shifting” series directory for a while, but thought i’d make a full post to go more in depth! i hope this brings more clarity and grounding! shifting/law of assumption is a personal, spiritual journey — so lovingly, your limiting beliefs or skepticism? not my business to entertain 🥹

Hexquad Cambridge University AU! Moodboards/Headcanons ✨️

A/N: A fun Au, but I'm too lazy to write it so instead I made some moodboards for each of the four pookies and some headcanons. 🎓🏫

Viktor, 26, an honourable Eastern European mix (Czech/Polish mom, Serb/Bulgarian dad)
Position: PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, minor in Philosophy
Last name too difficult for Westerns to pronounce, so he is known simply as Viktor with a k at the university
He has been a prodigy since he was a child, winning innovator competitions left, right and centre
The State supported his education up until university. When his scholarship got rejected, his long-term tutor, the Dean of the Physics department, Professor Doctor Cecil B. Heimerdinger in combination with a letter of recognition from Sky's father (a prominent academic) paid his tuition in full
He offered some lectures to the Master's students and that's where he met Jayce and took him on as a research assistant to his project - Hextech.
He has certain insecurities as a result of how people viewed his disability as a child (Eastern Europe is not for the weak of heart) but with time he comes to accept it was not his business to educate or accept other people's remarks in regards to himself
Is highly respected among his peers
Also often hit on by students (can be quite oblivious to flirtations unless he knows or is interested in the other parties. For example, he always knows when Sky and Jayce are hitting on him)
Still, that level of attention from strangers annoys him so he takes his breaks in the botanic garden, pestering Sky who often could do without her crush looking over her shoulder and asking "How do these species interacts?"
His hobbies include silence, reading and sewing, believe it or not (rare, only when he has the time to really focus on it)

Jayce Talis, 25, Latino as far as he cares (his mom is Mexican, his father was supposedly English, he wouldn't know)
Position: Master in Experimental Physics
Raised by a single mom
The guilty money of his deadbeat dad paid for his tuition
Was not the brightest student in Elementary school but something just shifted in middle school and since then has acquired the moniker "Golden Boy" - valedictorian of his high school and bachelor program
Has crippling ADHD (on and off meds)
Is a big fan (has a crush) of Viktor's theories so he followed him around until the latter agreed to take him on as a research assistant (even pays him a bit)
Needs to create with his hands when he is overwhelmed so he found the only blacksmiths in Cambridge and works there on the weekends (loves it, sometimes Viktor or Mell will show up to encourage him or pass him a warm tea in the winter)
Is taken on extravagant vacations with Mel, whenever brands allow her to get a plus one and as a result has traveled a great deal of the world
Likes glitz and glamour just as much as he likes physics and getting dirty in the forge
Finds Sky Young and her passion for the outdoors difficult to understand but also hides in the botanic garden whenever a panic attack knocks on the door (they butt heads a lot but their hatred for a lot of other people unites them into an unstoppable force)
Doesn't get hit on a lot because everyone is scared of Mel (rightfully so)

Mel Medarda, 26, American heiress (both of her parents are American)
Position: PhD in Politics and International studies
Has a substantial online following and likes to nurture it. Wouldn't call herself an influencer but people do gawk and stare at her at campus.
Has never in her life known what it means to fail. Excels in every exam, every picture and every schedule she sets her sights on.
Picky with people, but charming to strangers
Likes to spend time in the lab with the boys whenever she has the time. Absorbs knowledge like it's nobody's business. Often offers a different perspective to their problems.
Her parents sent her off to England when she was 10 to a boarding school so she wouldn't grow too attached to them (they have never been a strong presence in her life). That built up a level of insecurity and anxiety within her that whenever they DO show up they're always disappointed she is not hanging out with those that could elevate her status.
Is close with her brother however (he is an aspiring politician). He likes all of her lovers/friends.
Due to everyone's attention always being on her, she TOO hides in the botanic garden to spend time with the human version of lily flowers. Also has a crush on Sky Young as much as Jayce has a crush on Viktor (they are excelling at bisexuality). Sky put a Marigold behind her ear once and told her everything will be alright and Mel's heart never quite recovered from that.
Also enjoys spending time just with Viktor. Jayce can be overwhelming at times. Viktor provides a slower pace and a more structured conversation. Brings him to galas where her parents have some level of involvement. He provides her with a lot of emotional support due to his DNA's idgafism.
Any attempt to hit on her falls flat. It's the equivalent of "baby...we couldn't even get a drink together."

Sky Young, 25, Mixed (Eastern European mom, British dad. Her mother's genes didn't even put up a fight, they just resigned)
Position: Master in Biological Studies with a focus on Plant Science
Has a full scholarship from the university. Also chose to assists the dean of bio studies (makes good money out of it) as to not burden her parents
Sky's and Viktor's moms were close when they were young so Viktor and Sky grew up relatively close whenever Sky traveled "home" for "vacation". She'd throw stones at anyone who had something to say about Viktor's disability (she never understood how they could be so mean to someone so inspiring)
Her parents nurtured her love for anything she wants to be (she's very emotionally healthy)
A shy extrovert. Needs a minute to get going. She makes acquintances very easy and can't quite figure out when sweetness borders on flirtations with those she truly cares for. (Doesn't understand how counting the moles on your childhood friend's face while holding it, putting flowers in the hair of the most gorgeous woman and hugging someone through their dark episode, is not something anyone would do)
Assigns flowers names in the garden.
Collects old volumes of classical literature
Writes short stories in her free time and bakes from time to time (designated birthday baker)
Can't drive, always walks or takes the bus (Mel would pick her up from time to time)
The only one of the four with a proper, clean apartment (they all hang out there, she makes them keys at some point)
Gets hit on a lot (she genuinely thinks people are just being nice and polite to her because she is to them)

A/N: I actually love that Au so much, if anyone has more thoughts, I'd love to hear.

*breaks down your door in the middle of the night* first kiss in A/B/O AU with Alpha-17 and inexperienced F!Omega reader (not in a weird way ya know?) whose never been anyone’s first choice and is completely blown away that someone as awesome and amazing as Seventeen actually wants her romantically and not just physically. He makes her feel pretty and cherished and loved and she gives it back to him tenfold in return. (Not to show all my emotions at once. P.S. I read your fic with Keeli and it pulled at my tender heart strings it was so cute, yes I’m cross faded as a mf and fighting for my life this took me over 30min to write)
I See You
Summary: You’ve spent your whole life knowing that you’re not as important as the people around you. You’ve never been anyone’s first choice, not a day in your life. And that doesn’t change when you start puberty and realize that you’re an Omega. You’ve come to accept that, at best, some Alpha will pick you for your body, which will be the end of it. And then you meet Alpha-17, and for the first time in your life, you wonder What if?”
Pairing: Alpha-17 x F!Reader
Word Count: 1585
Warnings: ABO AU, Reader is slightly insecure
A/N: So, full disclosure, I have no idea if this was a request or you just coming into my inbox to discuss it. So I made the decision that it was a request and wrote it! I hope you like it!

There are some perks to living on Kamino.
Like the free suite that you can decorate how you like and the biweekly food delivery that allows you to cook whatever you want. Not to mention, you get free medical attention and as many blockers as you might need.
Plus, and here’s the biggest perk, you never have to see your “family” ever again.
Naturally, there are some downsides to Kamino too.
You work constantly and can be called into the lab at any hour of the day. There aren’t many places where you can spend your generous pay on Kamino (you have to order your clothes online and have them delivered). And you’re one of only a handful of human Omegas on Kamino.
You’d think that that would force all of you to get together now and then to chat or whatever. But, the truth is, you have no desire to interact with the other Omegas.
Popular fiction tends to make people think that all Omegas are soft and demure and good. Honestly, you wonder if the authors have ever actually met an Omega or if they’re just fantasizing about what an Omega should be like.
Honestly, Isabet is as mean as a rancor with a toothache, and twice as violent. And she’s not afraid to take that temper out on anyone who gets in her way. Including you on several occasions.
You’re pulled out of your thoughts at the sound of the door to your lab opening, and you slide your gaze away from the machine that you’ve been staring at and willing to work faster.
Even clad in armor, it takes you less than a second to recognize the man standing in the doorway.
No one on Kamino is quite as big as Alpha-17, after all.
A thoughtful frown pulls your lips down, and you turn away from your machine to pick up a nearby datapad to scan the information on it. Alpha-17 never comes to the labs unless he’s due for some testing.
You scan the schedule, and then set the datapad back on a nearby table, “If you have an appointment, I’m afraid that no one notated it in the schedule.” You say apologetically.
He tugs his helmet off and sets it on a table near the door. “I don’t have an appointment,” Alpha explains as he rolls his neck with a slight grimace.
“Oh.” You watch him a moment longer, “Are your implants acting up?”
“They ache when it rains.”
You shoot him an odd look, “It’s always raining, Alpha.”
He tosses a grin in your direction, “I know what I said.”
A heavy sigh falls from your lips, “Alright. Take your armor off and hop up on the table and I’ll see what I can do. But you really should make an appointment, Alpha.”
He obediently strips out of his armor and peels off the top of his blacks, before he lays on his stomach on your examination table. “Why would I do that? We both know that you’ll see me even without an appointment.”
“What if I had been busy?” You ask as you step over to his side and scan the cybernetics with your eyes first, before grabbing a scanner and turning it on, “Or had an appointment with one of your brothers?”
“I’m more important.” Alpha counters as he turns his head to watch you work.
“Well, someone certainly has a healthy ego.” He laughs and you press your hand between his shoulder blades, “Lie still Alpha. I’m trying to scan your cybernetics.”
“Sorry, sorry.” He doesn’t sound very sorry though, “But, come on Doc, we both know that I’m just going to have to live with the pain.”
You frown at him, “I might be able to do something. I don’t want you in pain, Alpha.”
He catches your free hand and squeezes your fingers, “Which is why you’re my favorite.”
You shake your head with a soft laugh, “You don’t have to try and flatter me, Alpha. I’ll help you without it.” You slip your fingers from his grip and start the scanner.
“And why do you think I’m just trying to flatter you? Why can’t I mean it?” He asks as he tucks his arm back under his chin while you work.
You shake your head with a sigh, “Men like you don’t say stuff like that to women like me, Alpha.” You eye the scanner and scowl at it, “It says everything is connected properly, you can sit up. I’ll find some topical pain gel—” You trail off, your mind racing as you try to come up with ways to lessen his pain.
You’re so lost in your ponderings that you don’t realize that Alpha has sat up until his large hand wraps around your wrist and he lightly tugs you around to face him.
“Yes? What’s wrong?”
“I’d like some clarification.” Alpha’s dark eyes scan your face, and his severe expression softens, slightly. “What do you mean by ‘women like you’?”
“Oh,” You pause to gather your thoughts, “I’m just…” You hold your free hand to the side, “Not enough. Not smart enough, not clever enough, not pretty enough, not charming enough.”
Something forbidding slides across his face, though his grip around your wrist is still gentle enough that you could pull away if you wanted, “And who, Doc, told you that?”
A soft laugh falls from you, “Only everyone I’ve ever met. Well, barring you.”
“They’re wrong.”
“It’s fine, Alpha.” You try to reassure him, “I’ve long since come to terms with my lot in life.” He shoots you a puzzled look, so you clarify, “I’m never going to be anyone’s first choice. That’s just how it is sometimes.”
Alpha huffs, “Fine. We’re doing this then.”
“Beg pardon?”
“Not smart enough? You’re a doctor. A specialized doctor. How much smarter do you need to be?” Alpha lists, “Not clever enough? I know I saw you exchanging barbs with Vau the other day and you won. Not pretty enough?” Here, he pauses and scans your face, “Whoever told you that must be blind or stupid or both. As for not being charming, I happen to think you’re very charming. So they’re wrong about that too.”
“Oh…ah…” You blink at him, and you can feel your face burning, “Thank you?”
“Honestly,” His voice is light, “I find it absolutely shocking that you haven’t chosen an Alpha yet. Stars know you have to have your pick.”
“No one’s ever shown any interest,” You reply honestly.
Alpha-17 mutters something under his breath, though you can’t really hear what he’s saying even as close as you’re standing to him.
“Alpha, I need to find the ointment for you. Can I have my wrist back?” You ask as you touch the hand wrapped around your wrist gently.
He scans your face for a moment before something seems to settle over him. He’s always been a confident man, settled in his skin, but he suddenly seems more, and you’re not sure why.
“Alph—?”
“Can I kiss you?”
His question shocks you into silence, and you blink at him dumbly for a moment, “I…what?”
“I want to kiss you,” Alpha says as he releases your wrist and moves his hand to gently brush his fingers against your chin. And then he flashes a wry smile, “Well, full honesty, I want more than that. But I’ll start with a kiss.”
“I don’t—”
“I want to be your Alpha.” He clarifies, “I want you to be my Omega. But if you’re not interested then this will be the last time I bring it up.” Slowly he presses his forehead against yours.
And you stare at him, kind of feeling like you’ve been hit over the head with a sledgehammer. “You’d…pick me?” You ask.
“Yes.”
You believe him. He’s not the sort to lie to you.
“I’d like a kiss,” You whisper up to him.
He grins then and tilts your head so he’s able to press his lips against yours.
And it’s good. Better than good, it’s perfect.
You’re not able to help yourself from stepping closer to him, moving to stand between his thighs, and wrapping your arms around his neck. Alpha’s arms wrap securely around your waist as he tugs you as close as he can and he holds you tightly, as if afraid that someone might rip you from him.
When he breaks the kiss, you’re breathing is slightly unsteady, something that makes him smile smugly. “We can go as slow as you want,” He murmurs, his lips brushing against your cheek, “But you are mine now, little omega.”
You hesitate for a moment, but then you smile at him, “And you’re mine?”
Alpha laughs then, “And don’t you forget it.”
Slowly he releases you, and you take a step back. You take a deep breath to steady yourself, and then take another step back, “If you still want that pain ointment, Alpha—”
“Maybe later.” He stands, “I have ARCs who need training.” Alpha glances at you, “If I chrome by your suite tonight, maybe you can give me some options to handle the pain?”
“I can do that.” You reply with a small smile.
Alpha lightly brushes his fingers against your cheek, “It’s a date.” He ducks his head to kiss you one more time, and then he leaves. And you’re left with butterflies in your stomach, and excitement in your heart.
You’ve never been anyone’s first choice.
But Alpha…he’s different. And now you know it.

is it normal that there are people that have like phds and are like heads of laboratories (let's say some practical physics, so not computer science). But all I see them do is conduct meetings irl and online on their computers in the office part of the lab at max and never interacting with equipment? Like yeah I'm not in the lab the whole day and not everyday but maybe it should've been possible to catch a glimpse at least once during almost 2 years? Sus
idk, im a linguist. i asked my biologist friend though and he says it's pretty normal.

Scientists have used a pair of lasers and a supersonic sheet of gas to accelerate electrons to high energies in less than a foot. The development marks a major step forward in laser-plasma acceleration, a promising method for making compact, high-energy particle accelerators that could have applications in particle physics, medicine, and materials science. In a new study soon to be published in the journal Physical Review Letters, a team of researchers successfully accelerated high-quality beams of electrons to more than 10 billion electronvolts (10 gigaelectronvolts, or GeV) in 30 centimeters. (The preprint can be found in the online repository arXiv). The work was led by the Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), with collaborators at the University of Maryland. The research took place at the Berkeley Lab Laser Accelerator Center (BELLA), which set a world record of 8-GeV electrons in 20 centimeters in 2019. The new experiment not only increases the beam energy, but also produces high-quality beam at this energy level for the first time, paving the way for future high-efficiency machines.

some scribblings of my pc and a lil relationship chart for all the human LIs! my designs for the LIs are subject to change tbh explanations of the relationships below the cut
♂ROBIN - things were a lot simpler when they were kids. amari was always the stronger of the two, both physically and mentally, and as such naturally fell into the 'protector' role. she didnt mind (at first) as doing so gave her a sense of fulfillment. as they've grown however, amari has grown distant from him. while at one point in time she found his blind optimism inspiring, she now finds it dangerous (i mean, they do live in rapetown LMAO). she pays his rent and defends him in public but has been trying to gear him toward taking self defense classes and finding other revenue streams. robin has yet to act on her advice, resulting in amari's resentment growing and the gap between them growing larger. despite all this, amari doesn't actually have the heart to make him fend for himself. how long this lasts remains to be seen. ♂WHITNEY - it's on sight with whit every day, all day. she hates him and his dumb ass friends. she's begun to win a lot more of their fights than he has, helping her gain favor with her shallow fellow students. she sees no reason to tolerate him, as he's disgusting and she can fight her own battles. often spreads rumors about him online during her down time. not much to say tbh as her interactions with whitney are pretty much always hostile ♀SYDNEY - purely platonic on amari's part tho she gets the feeling syd wants more. she's put off by syd's religious background and occasionally goads her into 'sin' for shits and giggles (and a little out of spite). amari is privately jealous of syd's seemingly happy life. ♂KYLAR - openly finds him disgusting, yet surprisingly resourceful. once he showed his true creepy colors, amari had no qualms with bullying him at school or manipulating him in private to get things from him such as a lab in the orphanage loft and the weekly pepper spray charges. has somehow managed to avoid any form of penetration from kylar but has not avoided being abducted lol. ♂ALEX - she looks up to him and is very attracted to him. they bonded over their mutual dislike of remy, and things kind of just went from there. she found herself opening up to him over time, and things gradually escalated to casual hook ups. she respects and admires his ambition and honestly wants to see his vision come to fruition. probably the only person she knows that she trusts completely (and its funny that this person just so happens to NOT live in rapetown) ♂EDEN - slightly stockholmed to say the least. she is disturbed by him, yet finds him endearing at times (these feelings also disturb her). for amari, its something about someone so (seemingly) unstoppable who wants to keep her safe at all costs that makes resisting this obviously dangerous situation quite difficult for her. besides that, she REALLY has grown interested in owning a firearm of her own. eden has not indulged her, but does allow her to practice shooting with his rifle. when she's away from the cabin long enough, it becomes easier for her to resist him and even build up the courage to just fucking leave him in her dust. for whatever reason, however, she'll still find herself coming straight back to the cabin on particularly stressful days. ♂AVERY - amari finds him gross and creepy, but keeps it to herself to get that bag. the only time consensual sex becomes a chore for amari is when its done with avery. it's like... bro is looking for sugar babies at an orphanage, it doesnt get more transparent than that LMAO but she rather it be her with avery than any of the other orphans...

How the Metaverse Could Help Education Grow
Introduction
Education is undergoing rapid transformation thanks to emerging technologies, and the metaverse is poised to be a game-changer. But what exactly is the metaverse, and how can it contribute to the growth and improvement of education worldwide?
In this article, we’ll explore how the metaverse can revolutionize learning by making it more immersive, interactive, and accessible — transforming classrooms beyond physical boundaries.
What is the Metaverse?
The metaverse is a virtual, interconnected digital universe where users interact through avatars in 3D environments. It combines elements of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain to create realistic simulations and social experiences.
Unlike traditional online learning, the metaverse offers fully immersive educational environments that can simulate real-world or entirely new scenarios.
Ways the Metaverse Could Help Education Grow
1. Immersive Learning Experiences
Students can engage with subjects by stepping into virtual environments:
Explore ancient civilizations by walking through digital reconstructions of historical sites.
Conduct science experiments safely in virtual labs.
Visualize complex concepts like molecular structures or planetary systems in 3D.
This active learning helps improve retention and makes education exciting.
2. Remote Accessibility and Inclusivity
With the metaverse, students from remote or underserved areas can attend virtual schools, removing geographical barriers. It can also better support students with disabilities by customizing experiences to their needs.
3. Collaborative Virtual Classrooms
Instead of passively watching lectures, students can collaborate in real time within virtual classrooms — brainstorming on shared whiteboards, participating in group projects, or attending virtual office hours.
4. Gamification and Motivation
Educational games and quests embedded in the metaverse keep students motivated and engaged, turning learning into an enjoyable challenge rather than a chore.
5. Practical Skill Training
The metaverse can simulate real-world environments for vocational training — such as medical surgeries, mechanical repairs, or architectural design — allowing students to practice without risks or costs.

Benefits of Using the Metaverse in Education
Enhanced Engagement: Immersive environments capture attention better than textbooks or videos.
Better Understanding: Visual and interactive learning aids complex subject comprehension.
Personalized Learning: Virtual environments can adapt to individual student pace and style.
Global Classroom: Learners worldwide can connect, share ideas, and collaborate.
Cost-Effective Training: Virtual simulations reduce the need for expensive physical resources.
Challenges to Consider
While promising, metaverse-based education faces challenges such as:
Technology Access: Not all students have VR headsets or reliable internet.
Training Educators: Teachers need skills to design and deliver virtual lessons effectively.
Privacy Concerns: Protecting student data in immersive platforms is critical.
Content Quality: Ensuring accurate, unbiased, and high-quality educational content.
Real-World Examples
Universities like Stanford and Harvard are experimenting with virtual campuses and immersive courses.
Platforms like Engage and Virbela offer metaverse spaces for education and training.
Some companies, including We3 Vision Infotech, specialize in creating customized metaverse education solutions to help institutions and organizations innovate.
Conclusion
The metaverse holds incredible potential to help education grow by making learning more immersive, interactive, and accessible globally. While challenges remain, the ongoing technological advancements and increasing adoption signal a future where virtual classrooms are an integral part of education.
For institutions or educators looking to integrate the metaverse into their learning environments, partnering with expert developers like We3 Vision Infotech can provide the right tools and guidance.

Physicists recreate extreme quantum vacuum effects
Using advanced computational modelling, a research team led by the University of Oxford, working in partnership with the Instituto Superior Técnico in the University of Lisbon, has achieved the first-ever real-time, three-dimensional simulations of how intense laser beams alter the ‘quantum vacuum’—a state once assumed to be empty, but which quantum physics predicts is full of virtual electron-positron pairs.
Excitingly, these simulations recreate a bizarre phenomenon predicted by quantum physics, known as vacuum four-wave mixing. This states that the combined electromagnetic field of three focused laser pulses can polarise the virtual electron-positron pairs of a vacuum, causing photons to bounce off each other like billiard balls – generating a fourth laser beam in a ‘light from darkness’ process. These events could act as a probe of new physics at extremely high intensities.
“This is not just an academic curiosity—it is a major step toward experimental confirmation of quantum effects that until now have been mostly theoretical,” said study co-author Professor Peter Norreys, Department of Physics, University of Oxford.
The work arrives just in time as a new generation of ultra-powerful lasers starts to come online. Facilities such as the UK’s Vulcan 20-20, the European ‘Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI)’ project, and China’s Station for Extreme Light (SEL) and SHINE facilities are set to deliver power levels high enough to potentially confirm photon-photon scattering in the lab for the first time. Photon-photon scattering has already been selected as one of three flag-ship experiments at the University of Rochester’s OPAL dual-beam 25 PW laser facility in the United States.
The simulations were carried out using an advanced version of OSIRIS, a simulation software package which models interactions between laser beams and matter or plasma.
Lead author Zixin (Lily) Zhang, a doctoral student at Oxford’s Department of Physics, said: “Our computer program gives us a time-resolved, 3D window into quantum vacuum interactions that were previously out of reach. By applying our model to a three-beam scattering experiment, we were able to capture the full range of quantum signatures, along with detailed insights into the interaction region and key time scales. Having thoroughly benchmarked the simulation, we can now turn our attention to more complex and exploratory scenarios—including exotic laser beam structures and flying-focus pulses.”
Crucially, these models provide details that experimentalists depend on to design precise, real-world tests including realistic laser shapes and pulse timings. The simulations also reveal new insights, including how these interactions evolve in real time and how subtle asymmetries in beam geometry can shift the outcome.
According to the team, the tool will not only assist in planning future high-energy laser experiments but could also help search for signs of hypothetical particles such as axions and millicharged particles—potential candidates for dark matter.
Study co-author Professor Luis Silva (at the Instituto Superior Tecnico, University of Lisbon and Visiting Professor in Physics at the University of Oxford) added: “A wide range of planned experiments at the most advanced laser facilities will be greatly assisted by our new computational method implemented in OSIRIS. The combination of ultra-intense lasers, state-of-the-art detection, cutting-edge analytical and numerical modelling are the foundations for a new era in laser-matter interactions, which will open new horizons for fundamental physics.”

This allows a fourth blue laser beam to be generated, with a unique direction and colour, which conserves momentum and energy. Credit: Zixin (Lily) Zhang. Credit Zixin (Lily) Zhang.

[mental chatter] and [notes] for both!
↳ INTELLECT HEADCANONS MEME
[MENTAL CHATTER] Does your character have an ongoing inner monologue, or do they more frequently think wordlessly/in abstract?
answered here!
[NOTES] How does your muse track their ideas and thoughts, or things they need to remember? Do they keep written or voice notes, or do they just think/hope that they’ll be able to recall what they need later?
For Chishiya, it's rather dependent on the situation and context. When it comes to his WORK, he is required by law to have written notes for certain aspects of patient encounters. Admissions, discharges, certain procedures, etc. Dictating (aka the recorded voice notes) is also still fairly common in the healthcare system as well. He PRIMARILY did this in his residency except for the occasional doctor who preferred to do it themselves. ( In general in modern times the residents will dictate reports and the assigned doctor will sign off on the report after checking. ) After he was no longer a resident, Chishiya may OCCASIONALLY dictate something, but in generally prefers to stick to written reports and notes.
When it comes to general life, Chishiya trusts his memory more than having a SPECIFIC way. He might set a reminder on the calendar for something, especially if its a couple weeks out or things of the sort. But it tends to be a MEMORIZED NOTE that he pins down rather than physical. so primarily he's just confident that he will be able to recall it later when he needs it. If he DOES need something physically noted for some reason or doesn't trust someone else to remember, he tends to have an written note or list. He's competent with technology, but tends to prefer physical things like newspapers, books, written lists as opposed to online articles and text reminders.
[MENTAL CHATTER] Does your character have an ongoing inner monologue, or do they more frequently think wordlessly/in abstract?
Ann is quite opposite of Chishiya here (like in many things.) Ann has a very complex and elaborate inner speech. Her own inner monologue is her own voice in the same manner as when she regularly speaks, unless she's actively trying to project or imagine someone else speaking, or recalling a memory or line/philosophy she associates with someone. In THAT case it's whoever the person she is thinking of. Although how strong the voice is can depend on how familiar they are or how strong the memory is. She might have an abstract moment here or there, but she's usually chattering in her mind about it. Like we see in the manga with Arisu having conversations of people in his mind, or for any BBC Sherlock fans, the way Sherlock interacts with people in his mind palace, she CAN do that. But in general it tends to just be herself talking through process and thoughts.
[NOTES] How does your muse track their ideas and thoughts, or things they need to remember? Do they keep written or voice notes, or do they just think/hope that they’ll be able to recall what they need later?
Ann takes a LOT of notes. Primarily in the workplace, but she does do it a lot in her personal life as well. It's become something of a second nature to her because she's so used to needing to do it in a lab setting or crime reports or other daily and frequent occurrences. Ann likes to write little reminders in case she's busy and something slips her mind or has reminders on her phone. More often than not she doesn't NEED them, but it's nice every once in a while when it DOES catch her from missing or forgetting something. She primarily keeps electronic notes, either in her phone's note app or the calendar reminds or texts, that sort of thing. Sometimes she does forgo it and hope she'll remember everything (grocery shopping tends to be a big one she does this with, especially if its only a few items). / @samuhelll

🚬 🦤🛡️ for the case
oc ask meme
hi
🚬 smoking/drinking habits? signature brand or drink?
she drinks a lot lol. she got it from her mama and started when she was likeeee 12-13 eek! she picks up smoking after nell dies and in ny ending maybe casually when she starts working again (im surprised she didnt earlier)
i dont drink a lot personally so i didnt have an answer for this but took a random quiz online and answered as casey so this is canon now LOL
🦤 are they particularly smart in any way? how so, or not?
she is smartttt she was a very good student in school. shes good with numbers/math and planning and organizing things efficiently and like multitasking a million things without getting overwhelmed. shes good at writing too and likes reading but like.....she prefers non-fiction books to fiction. like i think she likes reading thick fckn rule books for like card games and stuff. guidebooks and owners manuals. biographies and stuff. she likes reading super boring dense stuff LOL she prefers movies to get her fiction fix. I think shes smart in the way she can teach herself things and grasp concepts quickly.
she struggles in areas of emotional intelligence and with some social stuff though. LOL. asked booster why he even cared when ted died if they hadnt even been talking that much prior. why cant you just get over it. shes fairly good at masking and reading strangers to let them hear what they want or whatll get her out of a conversation quicker but it tires her out and there are just some things she cant wrap her head around no matter how hard she tries.
i think her least enjoyed subject was science (didnt like doing labs) (scared of getting acid in her eyes and going blind)
🛡️how does this character protect themself and others?
observation mostly...if shes in a situation where shes with a stranger shes getting weird vibes from she'll try to end the conversation or interaction naturally and gtfo. becomes hyper aware of her surroundings and tries to just leave asap.. she knows shes not very physically capable so the best option is to just try to peacefully end the interaction..whatever it may be.. shes had a few encounters like this while working for boostie talking to a million ppl trying to get him tv spots and stuff. if the person were to pursue her she'd get cornered animal instinct and lash out in a panic (but, again, shes not very strong so...)
this changes when she starts living with nell cuz now its herrrr job to protect me :) (bitch.. says who) so she becomes a bit less....ahhh...on alert i guess. if i was about to walk into a pit of spikes its ladybugs job to stop me. (STOP DOING THAT) . shes taken care of herself for most of her life so shes pretty good at avoiding trouble. ladybug privileges just drives her a bit power mad i guess LOL
protect OTHERS? casey doesnt care enough about other people to even think about that. and nell is a superhero so why would she need the 5'2 secretary to defend HER??
ok maybe im not being entirely fair. its mostly true though. i guess in a scenario where ladybug was down for the count and some badguy was closing in she'd try slapping him awake and screaming in his ear and dragging him away. she doesnt like thinking about that though. it gives her the ick. maybe eventually it even starts to scare her

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer only a vision of the future – it is a reality that is only set to grow more deeply integrated into our lives, and our kid’s education. Among the more fascinating trends AI is making its mark on is robotics in education is one of the most popular trends. With the help of AI in robotics learning, children are now learning with tools and experiences that were previously in the university laboratory section only. Kids’ robotics has become not only entertaining but also a valuable method of teaching children not only programming and mechanics but also problem-solving and creativity. We will briefly discuss how Artificial Intelligence is being incorporated into robotics education for children and what AI education could be in the future.
The Growing Role of AI in Robotics Education
AI and robotics education have brought a new dimension to this world. Conventional introduction to robotics needed coding knowledge, electronics, and mechanical engineering among other things. However, with the help of AI, learning robotics online is possible and interesting even for children of a younger age. AI makes it easier for kids to code since they are presented with interfaces and block-based programming that help them start with little struggle. Most of the AI platforms are developed with interactive graphical interface tools which makes it easy for young children to learn robotics even in class eight.
AI in STEM education not only enhances the learning process but also makes it more personalized. For instance, AI algorithms analyze how each child learns, their strengths and weaknesses, and adapt to offer customized lessons and challenges. This tailored learning experience allows children to progress at their own pace, which is essential for keeping them motivated and interested in STEM subjects like robotics.
Key Benefits of AI-Integrated Robotics for Kids
1. Engaging, Hands-On Learning Experiences

AI-powered robotics for kids enables interactive, practical learning. Rather than traditional, rote-based education, AI and robotics courses focus on real-world applications. For example, kids can learn to program a robot to solve a maze, follow a path, or respond to basic commands. These activities go beyond abstract learning, as children get to see their efforts result in real actions from a robot, boosting engagement and understanding.
2. Personalized Learning Paths with AI
One of the primary advantages of AI in education is its adaptability to individual learning styles and paces. Children have different ways of understanding and absorbing information, and a one-size-fits-all approach isn’t always effective. AI-driven platforms use algorithms to monitor a child’s progress, adapting content and difficulty levels to suit each learner’s needs.
For instance, if a child struggles with certain programming concepts, the AI can recommend exercises or tutorials to reinforce understanding. Conversely, if a child excels, the AI can introduce more challenging tasks to keep them engaged. This personalized learning approach is especially beneficial for kids, as they can learn robotics online without feeling pressured or frustrated. Personalized content encourages kids to explore topics more deeply, fostering curiosity and a genuine interest in learning.
3. Accessibility through Online Platforms
The rise of online learning platforms has made robotics education more accessible than ever. Families no longer need to invest in expensive robotics kits or travel to specialized workshops; the best online platforms for kids offer structured robotics courses with video tutorials, interactive exercises, and even virtual labs.
Certain online robotics courses utilize virtual environments where students can experiment with coding and witness their robot’s behavior in a simulated setting, which is particularly valuable for students who don’t have physical robots to practice with. AI-powered simulations make learning robotics feasible for a wider audience, enabling students to learn from home at their own pace. These tools are particularly beneficial for students who may not have access to robotics programs at school but are eager to explore STEM.
The Future of AI in Robotics Education

Thus, as AI advances, so does the potential for it to be used in education, especially in STEM and robotics for children. The trends for the future of AI in education are the emergence of more sophisticated AI applications that will not only enable children to learn how to command robots but also to use AI to solve problems. Here are some trends to look forward to:
1. Greater Integration of AI in STEM Education
AI in STEM education is getting mainstream, and more schools and online platforms use AI to teach math, science, and engineering. In robotics, it will probably be even more expensive when AI will grant robots facial recognition, voice mimicking, as well as more sophisticated decisions making capabilities. This advancement will enable the kids to design complex robotic systems, which will enable them to be ready for the technological future awaiting them.
2. Enhanced Collaboration and Creativity
AI can allow enhancing cooperation between students from different countries working on a common project. Just picture the idea of kids from different countries working as a team to design and program a robot – apart from technical skills that children acquire, they develop interpersonal ones as well. These collaborations are easily facilitated and monitored with the use of AI powered tools.
3. Improved Accessibility to AI and Robotics Education
With advancement in AI technology and defense in cost, many families and schools will be in a position to offer children robotic education. The best online robotics courses will also maintain the use of AI tools that enhance learning in the future even more. It is assumed that platforms should provide multilingual communication support, translation in real time, and accessibility for disabled children, and therefore AI and robotics education should be provided to any child who wants it.
