god. i fucking need analoceitmus, platonic OR romantic, fics wheres logans the caveat that makes the dark sides start caring for each other again.

just: something happens. something happens and logan is very suddenly and unquestionably not a lightside anymore. he cant look patton and roman in the eye after it and vice versa.

theyre curled up on the couch after. janus is holding logan in his lap with all six arms and remus is on top of them both like a human blanket. logan is sobbing into janus's chest and janus is letting him cry it out.

and virgils suddenly at the door with an angry face and jan and ree assume the worst. they thought he was better than that but of course hes here to yell. of course he wants to keep his light side dream status quo no matter the cost. of course hes just like them.

but then he stops. and very suddenly his face is calm with relief and he quietly paces towards the three. before they know it, hes on one knee by the couch and hes clutching logans hands to his heart and hes saying "logan, oh bud, i shouldve been there, im so sorry.." with pain in his voice. it isnt a lie.

he looks up at them and they prepare for a glare but his face is strangely soft, and all he mouths is 'thanks'. the "for taking care of him" is left unspoken.

The bit in the Sanders Sides Q&A where Logan and Roman were receiving text messages is so much funnier when you think about who was texting them??? At the time it probably was just a gag that wasn't thought through, but now we know there are other sides in the mindscape, the messages could have been from them. Was Remus annoying his brother over text? Were the dark sides trying to shoot their shot with Logan in the middle of filming? There are so many possibilities
