My name does not match the name on my birth certificate (no I’m not married; yes they fucked up my birth certificate); I have a real ID.

My mother, who changed her last name after getting married, also has a real ID.

To get a real ID, you must present proof of identity and proof of social security, then two forms of proof that you live in the state you live in.

If your proof of identity is your birth certificate and your proof of social security has a different name, all you need is proof of a legal name change (in the form of a marriage certificate, certified request for gender change, amended birth certificate, etc).

If you have a passport or passport card and your proof of social security matches the name on the passport, you are totally in the clear and do not need to present a birth certificate at all.

If you've ever been in a fandom tag (in this case Soul Eater), you may already be well-aware Delaware of all the nude women that frequently crop up and jumpscare you when you're just trying to look at art.

Fret not, however! I've been recently testing out tag filters and have managed to set up a list that has so far caught all of them, and now I'm here to share said list so that you too can be free of unwarranted bazooka bazongas!

Oh my god my fellow psych majors need to pull their heads out of their asses

Being a psych major is not the same as being a professional in the psych field. You are still studying to be one, you do not have your degree yet.

Being a psych major does not mean you know as much as, let alone better than, the actual professionals.

Being a psych major does not mean you are a specialist who is an authority on any specific disorder. Hell, having a degree does not even mean that. Unless you are an actual specialist, you do not know better than the people who specialize in that disorder.

Being a psych major does not make you an authority on what people have going on in their brains. You are not a professional yet.

Being a psych major does not mean you are automatically right on anything psychology related. There is a reason you do not have a degree yet.

Psych majors cannot determine who has what disorders. You are not licensed to make a diagnosis, because you are still a student, not a professional.

You cannot know what is going on in a strangers brain just because you major in psych. Even licensed professionals cannot do that. No matter how long they studied, or have been working in psych. There is a reason the diagnostic process for most disorders takes so long. So you, as someone who does not even have a degree yet, definitely cannot make that call where professionals cannot.

And, most importantly, being a psych major does NOT give you a free pass to be an asshole to mentally ill people. In fact, the opposite, really. People like them are the exact type of person you will be treating once you get your degree. Mentally ill people like that entrust psych professionals with their wellbeing. If you cannot be decent to mentally ill people that you do not even know, you should not be treating their mental health.

So let me give everyone a friendly little reminder that if you take heavy inspo from another artist's piece or design(s), you should give them a little bit of credit in the caption of your art upload.

It hurts absolutely nobody, it won't impact your engagement, it helps out the other artist and it avoids unnecessary conflicts and upsets caused by not crediting them.

You wouldn't like it if somebody ripped off your art or designs 1:1 practically - so don't steal from other artists and get credit for their ideas. Instead just make it so both of you can benefit. Extra points if you contact the artist and ask if you can make designs or pieces inspired heavily by theirs or redraw them etc etc

Light inspo is different obviously but I think some people have forgotten what that is lol.

Up Poom Pak Ep 15: "The most tiring rest day"

In Up's words:

First part of the vlog is cutting back and forth between UpPoom having two very different "rest day"

Up: *frantically rushing to Bangkok, picking up his passport from the Korean embassy, barely catching his flight back, exhausted* Poom: *sleeping in, "chillaxing", going grocery shopping, joking about becoming the only host on "Rest Day with Up and Poom"*

I really love this moment of Poom meeting a fan. He is so sweet about it and made her so happy!

Up is sharing interesting tidbits about his trip throughout the vlog, but I get a little bit more schadenfreude joy watching someone who knows nothing about cooking doing grocery shopping

Forgetful Poomie also almost forgets about the camera they set up for filming 😅

The size of that grocery haul is pretty funny as well. Ironically, at one point in "Professional Body Double" (the original novel behind "My Stand In"), Zhou Xiang (Joe) is a little stressed by the excessive amount of perishable produce at Yan Mingxiu's (Ming's) apartment, and he secretly judges Mingxiu and the secretary who stocked the fridge for having no common sense 😛

UpPoom reunited in the evening! Poom "Story Teller" Phuripan started narrating a fanfic about this day and Up invited fans to continue the story on X (they are joking though 😂)

So something I’ve been working on recently (prompted by Marnie a mutual who mentioned watching a playthrough as a great means to familiarize/re-familiarize with the series) is… an edited cinematic style playthrough of the trilogy. I’ve managed to pare things down in the playthrough to only the most majorly important aspects of the playthrough (i.e. skipping the majority of side quests), along with some reorganization of clips or clever use of clips to make things flow more like a movie format. While it’s by no means perfect, it’s a little more digestible than skipping through hours of gameplay.

Currently, I am still working on this as I am in the midst of a full playthrough of the trilogy. This version is only going to feature Kaidan’s romance path, though it will feature the events of the Virmire Savior Mod (allowing for both Ashley and Kaidan to be saved on Virmire, and subsequently be part of things in the remainder of the trilogy). Each “episode” is roughly movie length, averaging out at around 1 hour and 20 minutes per clip.

PSA everyone. I ran out of setting powder and used cornstarch in a pinch. It worked SUPER well! I am white and pretty pale, so I can’t say how this work on darker skin. But for me it went on transparent and a very natural matte. It didn’t transfer at all when I lightly rubbed my face on dark fabric

i don't do mains for canon characters since my character is so focused on a canon (same rule goes for my other blogs)! i'll do relationship tags with the specific url of the canon character i'm talking about based off of interactions, and just the character name when it applies to all of them!
