- Mula natives can be intense in intimate relationships. Claire Nakti mentions them being energy vampires, a trait that I believe all Ketu nakshatras share. However, Mula individuals take this to an extreme—they deeply desire to consume their romantic partners or loved ones, often expressing love and affection in ways that can be violent or disturbing. For example, Mula ☽ native Amy Winehouse once carved “I love Blake” (referring to her then-boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil) onto her stomach using a shard of glass during a photoshoot. - All three Pisces nakshatras (Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada, and Revati) are late bloomers. This may be because Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and is connected to the 12th house, which rules moksha and the dissolution of individual existence into the eternal flow of life. The ultimate purpose of the 12th house is spiritual liberation and freedom from samsara. This is akin to how anesthesia is injected into the nervous system, suppressing consciousness and inducing a detached, deep sleep-like state. Uttara Bhadrapada represents the culmination of this process, embodying the state of deep sleep. Its deity, Ahirbudhnya—the serpent of the depths—reflects the energy of stillness and dissociation of what’s above (reality/conciousness) , as well as the 12th house’s connection to sleep and the unconscious. Uttara Bhadrapada signifies the transcendental detachment from the physical body, much like the dissociative, dream-like state brought on by anesthesia. Ahirbudhnya’s symbolism as the serpent of the deep ocean mirrors the sensation of being submerged or taken into a controlled, deep state under anesthesia. Ashlesha’s clinging, paralyzing venom parallels Uttara Bhadrapada’s surrender and stillness, with both evoking states where the body is subdued or transcended. Ashlesha operates through the subconscious and instinctual nervous responses, while Uttara Bhadrapada focuses on spiritual transcendence. Anesthesia acts as a bridge between these realms, allowing the body to rest while bypassing conscious awareness.

- Pushya and Krittika natives can have features characterized by full lips, almond-shaped or wide-set eyes, which can also be rounded and downturned , or upturned and almond shaped typically deep-set. They tend to have very soft cheeks and overall gentle facial features, even among Krittika natives. Those born under the sheep yoni have soft, curly, or full hair. These natives dislike being alone and will often join others they can’t emotionally or socially relate to simply to avoid solitude. Krittika is in the ♉︎ and ♈︎ rashi, while Pushya is in ♋︎. Interestingly, Taurus exalts the Moon, and Krittika is the nakshatra where the Moon is exalted. Krittika women, in particular, can face disdain from both men and women due to their sovereign and independent nature. They are often misunderstood and may fall victim to others attempting to humble or overpower them.

Although ruled by Mars, its connection to Venus (♎︎) and Mercury (♍︎) gives it a visually oriented and perfectionist nature, much like the Venus nakshatras, which are immensely creative. Both Chitra and Venus nakshatras share a tendency to push boundaries, sometimes indulging in taboo subjects. Venus nakshatras are known for their exclusivity, often socializing and collaborating only with other Venus nakshatra natives. Similarly, Chitra exhibits a form of discrimination by networking and associating only with those they deem worthy—often based on aesthetics or social status. As You Read the First Draft:

Are there place that surprised you as you read your first draft? - Why do you suppose that is? - Is there material there you'd like to expand?

What are the character really doing in this story? - Might they have issues you haven't explored fully yet?

Look to the places that drag. - These might be scenes where you have avoided dealing with something deeper. - What are the characters really thinking in these places? - What are their passions, frustrations, and desires?

Imagine alternative plotlines. - How might your plot be different if ti headed off on another tangent from various points in the story? - You don't have to follow them, but they might suggest other streams that can flow into the main plot.

Think About Structure:

Does you story play out naturally in three acts?

Is there an immediate disturbance to the Lead's world?

Does the first doorway of no return occur before the one-fifth mark?

Are the stakes being raised sufficiently?

Does the second doorway of no return put the Lead on the path to the climax?

Dialogue is almost always strengthened by cutting words within the lines.

In dialogue, be fair to both sides. Don't give one character all the good lines.

Greate dialogue surprises the reader and creates tension. View it like a game, where the players are trying to outfox each other.

Can you get more conflict into dialogue, even emong allies?

Life Is Beautiful: Hopes and Dreams

Hi! I’m Ally and my alias is Nightingale At Dawn Writes. I have a mood condition and I was first diagnosed with Major Depression in 2000. I had a life changing situation then that I wasn’t able to handle, hence, I had severe depression. Different psychological tests were done. I had consultations then with a psychiatrist until 2001.

In 2001, I studied the Basic Course and the Advance Course in Interior Design at the Philippine School of Interior Design. During this time, I stopped seeing a psychiatrist. I believe studying this course greatly helped in diverting my attention and I had an “outlet” then. I’ve always wanted to study Interior Design. This was my second choice for the courses to study when I took up the entrance exam in U.P. Los Baños.

Everything was going well until 2006. This was the time that we had to seek help again with a psychiatrist. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 Disorder with Major Depression. I had monthly consultations then with my psychiatrist and I was taking medications.

Then sometime in 2015, I wasn’t taking my medications and I was planning to commit suicide. An Angel told me not to do that and think of the family I will leave behind if I do this. I don’t need to name names but you know who you are!

Then in 2019, I started having consultations with a psychiatrist in Los Baños. I have been in her care ever since then and I must say she’s one of the best psychiatrists we have known.

In March 2022, I was admitted in a medical facility for two months. That’s just a few weeks away and I’m writing this as it will be almost two years since then. I wasn’t taking my medications then, hence, I had to be admitted in a medical facility.

I know there’s a stigma in the Philippines for people like me who have mental illnesses. That’s the reason why I’m here in Canada and being with the people who love me unconditionally.

Moving forward, I have promised myself to do better and be a better version of myself. To love myself first before others. I will always be a work in progress as I don’t believe in perfection.

I have also been closer to God. He will always be my “flashlight”. I know that any struggles I will have moving forward, He will help me get through them. I trust His plans for me.

I will also serve as the light to those in darkness. I will lead them to the righteous path and have purpose driven lives. It’s an amazing journey and I believe that life is beautiful… It will always be!

I will forever chase my dreams. Like what I have mentioned, I have big dreams not only for myself but also for my family.

I know that the next chapter in my story will be amazing! I’ll always be counting my blessings as I am gifted and blessed!
