Leaving aside the Paddington discourse, ever noticed how there's never really any female characters like that. Closest I could think of are Olivia Pope on Scandal, Annalise Keating on HTGAWM and Gabi Mosely on Found but even they're still portrayed a lot more sympathetically than these guys (of the ones whose sources I've seen they're mainly sympathetic-due-to-being-where-the-narrative-lens-points)
