Killer Chat!
Release date (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) English: September 30th, 2024
"A reporter by day, an aspiring writer by night: you've been asking all the important questions on the dark web.
Like, how do you bury a body? How do you kill someone with a crowbar with the right angle to cause blunt-force trauma? What's the best way to hide from law enforcement?
If you're to write a good crime book, this is how you'll do it.
Suddenly, ERROR! UNKNOWN invites you to a server... with a warning. 'don't be so obvious smh You're Gonna Get Caught'.
...
It's a serial killer chatroom.
You may be slightly fucked."
This is a free game by rosesrot made for the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam! You can download it from itch.io here.

:D GUYS!! I LEARNED THE ULTIMATE PRO TIP!!!
VOICE TRAINING HELPS WITH A SORE THROAT!!!
XD i cant promise this is universal, but i got the flu right now and my throat is a mess. but talking in my cutesy girly UwU voice gives me no pain!
:D so all us sick trans girls out there pay attention! you need to learn the sacred ways of fire!
begin by taking in a deep breath.
breathe out and silently try making an "oooooooh" sound like you see something interesting, and steadily raise your larynx by turning it into an "eeeeeeeee" sound, then go from silent to audible, making an "eeeeeeee" noise.
you have now raised your larynx and can make higher pitch sounds! keep your larynx in this position and say the magic words:
Heat From Fire, Fire From Heat.
:D practice this lots and lots and tryyyyy to talk this way often. maintain focus on keeping your larynx at this position even when not speaking.
the more you practice, the lighter your voice will get over time! and then your trans superpower will kick in! >:3 the power to voice act for both guys AND girls!
:D and to any non-trans followers, this superpower can be learned by anyone! so feel free to voice train yourself if you wanna mess with people!
:3 and it goes without saying that Femboys and Sissies can also learn this technique. in my book you guys got Honorary Girl status anyway! so go nuts!
X3 and lets not forget the Enbies! cuz variety is the spice of life and your voice should reflect that! :3 if ya want!

i think taash is gonna have a gender journey and realize she's non-binary
she's written by a non-binary writer, we know the least about her, the genders of the other companions are otherwise balanced, and she's voiced by a non-binary voice actor
i don't think these are coincidences

I love Taash's outlandish ideas about the Crows. Each question they ask Lucanis about them is more ridiculous than the last. And when they ask him whether there are any non-binary Crows... I thought, that's it. I'm going to make a non-binary Crow Rook to romance them.

hello, I'm a younger transmasculine person and I was curious about a few things (for reference I live in the us in a fairly left state)
- how do you get started on testosterone?
I've never gotten a clear answer on this, some people said it took a two year queue, others could start immediately. idk when I want to start, but i dont want to be confused on what to do when I get the ball rolling
- are there alternatives to shots, and do they work better or worse?
I dont think I could do the shots myself unless there's no other options, something about them just makes my bones hurt
- how often do you have to apply T, and what happens if you forget to take it?
I'm pretty forgetful and I'll probably not take T on the scheduled date at least once, I hope that won't screw with anything because I don't really know if you've got to be consistent with it
- do you have any tips for clothing/voice training?
I think I pass at least a little okay but my voice is one of the things I'm most self conscious about. I also find myself spending 10-20 minutes every morning pulling my shirt against my chest to see if my binders working, and just end up wearing the same sweater I have for the past few weeks
sorry if that's alot, even if you're a stranger you're the first person I've been able to ask about these things. thank you so much
these are all great questions, i'm so glad you're taking the time to ask! this is extremely thorough and well thought out!
How do you get started on testosterone?
That's a great question, i feel like a lot of people have barriers to this one. if you are in a state where you have access to Planned Parenthood, this is usually a good place to start. check to see if you have a transgender resource center in your area. if not, go to whatever local lgbtq organization you can find, even one in a college. it is also possible to search gender affirming care [area], but clinicians aren't always available via Google
Here is a list of informed consent clinics that provide gender affirming care services, you may want to look here.
The process looks different for literally everyone, that's why no one can give you a clear answer, i'm so sorry! it's such a chaotic process for all of us. some trans men will literally get their prescription for testosterone within a month, others it does take years. do some research and see if therapy is required before hormones will be prescribed in your area. if not, you will likely have a much faster and easier time getting your hormones. if you don't need therapy, generally you'll just need to sign some consent forms and waivers stating that you are aware of what you are going to do to your body.
Are there alternatives to shots, and do they work better or worse?
all forms of testosterone are equally effective, it just depends on the dosage and the person. currently in the united states, you can get topical testosterone in the form of an alcohol based gel! it is applied topically to the upper forearms or abdomen, generally daily. it works just as well as the injectable testosterone, so long as you respond well to it! there is also the option of having your clinician do shots for you if you don't respond well to gel, as well.
nebido also may be available for FtM HRT in your area!
How often do you have to apply T, and what happens if you forget to take it?
Daily for topical gel, anywhere between twice a week, once a week, to once every two weeks for shots, depending on the person, how well they tolerate the medication, their transition goal, and the dosage.
Do you have any tips for clothing/voice training?
In terms of vocal training, AmaRoseLessons, Zoey Alexandria, and Trans Vocal Training are YouTube channels that can help with vocal training exercises, and i can also recommend the r/transvoice subreddit as well if you need help figuring out how to practice and ways to integrate what you learn into how you speak naturally!
For clothing, really anything goes, it depends on what you're going for and how you want to look. Remember that your personal style still gets to be included in the mix! Generally speaking, bulkier shapes that obscure the shoulders, hips and chest help a lot, layering of clothes, and wearing clothes with "boxier" cuts. Heavier shoes like boots may help, you may also find you like dress shoes. it really depends on your personal look, but generally speaking, i say go into the "men's" section and go nuts. Whatever they wear, you can wear too, and it gets the point across.
Hope that helps! Thanks for laying out your ask in such a concise way, that's much appreciated! If you need any more help feel free to ask!

While we are talking about Misfits and Magic season 1, I would like to just make sure we all remember to pay proper credit to Orion D. Black who was the creative director of D20 during that campaign (and through some of my personal favorite Aabria involved seasons including PoL and ACOFAF).
Carlos is of course doing a fantastic job as the current Creative Director, but one of the reasons I personally felt comfortable trying Misfits and Magic is that I knew Orion was involved and I was open to seeing what kind of campaign would come from their collaboration with Aabria as a DM.

They are not something something related, but Indie really likes Shadow like a model, they r kind of related, about the whole power and control, and of course, have a grumpy face all the time and fuck everyone up.
They dont live together but, they really really like when he show up. And yea, there was a time they really wanted to look like Shadow but their fur is really sensitive, so Shadow had to improvise, kitties really dont like to get groomed and cleaned by their guardians.
And, like a cat that loves making noises, they are very, VERY loud. And the eyes... Oh the eyes.... They have gloves, but it gets more detailed once their are older.
I'd have to add, Rouge was the one to get their boots, and Shadow give his air shoes to tails study, so he could do the same propellers on the soles, to help their movement when floating.

What ppl don't tell you about being a trans guy is that after your voice drops, everytime you get dysphoric or insecure your inner monologue will shift back to your old fem voice and you will have to remind yourself that you don't need to worry about sounding like that anymore.

Oh how I love testosterone and what it's done for me! When I talk with my new, deeper voice I sometimes find myself going :0 "Is that sound really coming out of ME? That's so cool!" The body hair is nice too, and actually not as coarse as I thought it'd be even though it's thicker + darker. It's nice having some hair on my face too, even though it's barely noticeable unless you look for it. Plus that jawline that's more square and sharp, nice! I also have a light Boy Smell to my skin, and that's been an unexpected source of euphoria for me
💛🤍💜🖤
However, what stands out to me most isn't any of what I just mentioned: it's the happiness in my eyes and the lighter steps I take. My body feels like a much more comfortable place to exist in since I actually feel like it's mine now. Instead of being trapped in an empty house with barren walls and a sense of hollowness, my body now feels like a lived-in home with various decorations, nice furniture, and a cozy warmth to it. I smile, talk, and laugh more. I look in the mirror and see someone I've fought very hard to become, someone I relate to more and more with each passing day. I've caught a glimpse of my true / inner self looking back more than once now, and something about them is so beautiful that I can't believe it's real. Every single day that I get to exist as myself feels like the wish I've held for over 10 years coming true. I love this very much, and I'm so so grateful for the opportunity to medically transition.
🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵
Just thought I'd share some trans joy with y'all! I know things are hard right now, but just know that the world is a better place with you in it. There are people who love you as you are for who you are, and even if it feels like nobody cares, people do. Stay safe out there, drink some water, and show yourself some kindness
