Doug: I have recently developed a strange fear that when I'm in the shower with the curtain drawn, there's a deranged killer in the bathroom that's about to kill me. How can I overcome this strange phobia?
Uma: Here's the thing. This is a good question, because I went through the same thing.
Doug: How did you get over it?
Uma: A few things. First of all, play a song on the radio that's too happy to be murdered to. If a killer did break into my room and my music is blasting, I'm just gonna be like, "I'm too fvcking strong and WAY too fvcking sexy to be killed in this shower right now." And then I'm just dancing around their flurry of stabs. Nobody has ever died while listening to a Beyonce song, because you're too strong and sexy and powerful.
Doug: Okay. What were your other ideas?
Harry: Bring a knife into the shower.
Uma: They're never gonna see that coming. Stab 'em right in the eye.
Harry: You thought the psycho was out there? Surprise, the psycho is in here, with the Irish Spring on him!

between Pantheon, Westworld, and now Severance, I have been watching a whoooooole lot of shows that have to do with brain surgery
#shhh sharkie#or just in general like. artificially altered memories. scientific or magical.#Invincible too to an extent (Doug my poor boy)#I swear I’m not picking them on purpose like that#like the topic just keeps coming up I guess#also keep accidentally picking shows that have way more gore and body horror than i’m actually comfortable with#it’s good to push your boundaries but also I don’t need to see a five inch long needle go into someone’s head#I think i’m just upset in general so i’m flipping between comfort shows/movies and challenging shows/movies

Im doing a gear review cause im bored
- noise cancelling headphones: can make or break whether im able to leave the house. Ive been getting better practicing without them (not as a form of sadomasochism, more so my world doesnt completely end again when they break and i cant afford to fix them)
- cloth headbands, the full loop ones you put around your neck and pull up: very important from stopping me from cutting my hair because it touched my face a little too long. If i cant find this, im contemplating scissors. Bye bye bangs
- apron: cant do dishes without her. I get hot easily so usually im half/mostly naked at home. The apron lets me ventilate without getting splashes by dishes or cooking. Also burn protection. My stomach is covered in little burn scars from cooking shirtless
- indoor shoes: i tried slippers for so long but i couldn't find a pair that wouldnt blast furnace my feet. The solution was shower sandals. Very comfy
- nitrile gloves: i do not have enough money to replace these right now, so im rationing them. I only use when theres a lot of food on the dishes or when i have to clean up something gross. This one was a big help for exec. dysfunction. Just put on the gloves and start. The main stresser is mostly gone now
- i tried the loop earplugs people were talking about and i cant say i like them. Ive never found anything that can get rid of 100% of the noise. Even 99.9% still leaves me with 0.1% to focus on. Headphones replace the silence with a controlled, known sound. These are my back up if my headphones arent available
- weed
#oh also most of these headphones were covered by the government#which is pretty cool#they only approved me for a lower quality one but they let me pay the difference for the one i wanted#so i only paid $150 for the new XM5s#the XM4s literally altered the course of my life#i need doug ford to have fun and frolic in minecraft

Regardless if Tim has been meaning to do this on purpose, if it sort of became a thing somewhere along the way, or he didn't at all—there's a notable similarity in the way Maddie and Eddie are approached from a characterization standpoint in the show's writing room. Which has eventually led me to believe that if ‘Buddie’ does ever end up actually happening, it will come about paralleling ‘Madney’ in some capacity.
I am not the first person to vocalise that these two characters [Eddie Diaz and Maddie Han (Buckley)] seem to parallel each other in more than the typical three-way patterning.
But to talk about Eddie and Maddie and how they're constantly in equidistant loop to each other, I need to talk about how Chimney and Buck's essence is essentially each face of the same coin to support two very similar counterparts—they bear a subtle resemblance with the way their storylines align. If we hark back to season 1: Chim is stuck on Tatiana; to whom he poses for as this perfect all-rounder hero. With Tatiana, Chimney becomes the kid who in order to be somebody worth sticking around for [he] has to prove that he's of value — Buck is stuck on his sex rendezvouses (before Abby a few episodes later), stuck in this unhealthy whorl where he copes with people leaving and nobody wanting to stick around, by having short-lived affairs.
During season 1 their [Chim and Buck] storylines are pretty much a sum of poor choices that eventually help them, or deceive them into thinking for a while that they have found themselves. They constantly find reassurance in being valued for what they think makes them an indispensable part of their compeer’s life, to no avail, when they come face to face with the fact that neither [Tatiana or Abby] had plans of sticking around for them —Chim who was ready to take the next step by proposing, and Buck who was already deeply involved in Abby’s life and practically living in her house. They are both left at the altar with their vows in-hand with a run-away bride.
During season 2 we have Chim and Tatiana seeing each other again after 6-ish months since she fled. Tatiana is pregnant and engaged, a future she didn't see viable with him. And During season 3 we have Buck and Abby seeing each other again after two years approx. Abby is engaged to a man that has two daughters, a future that she never thought about with Buck — both episodes end with them re-linking to have one last conversation that'll allow them to cross-over the bridge.
Chim and Buck both suffer similar deteriorating self-esteem issues when it comes to conceiving an honest relationship that doesn't only rely on the physical —until Maddie and Eddie are introduced, and Buck seems to break free from Abby’s curse a couple of episodes later (closing chapter completely when he has that last conversation that helps him understand where she was coming from), and Chimney has left Tatiana and his concerns about his life altering trauma long forgotten.
Season 2 episode 1 ‘Under Pressure’; Buck meets Eddie through work introduced by Bobby who had just hired the latter. Three episodes later during ‘Help is not coming’ (the earth-quake finale from the two-parter), Buck drives Eddie to pick Christopher up in an emotionally umpt scene. Maddie mentions Buck having a boy crush on Eddie and if that meant he was ready to move out of Abby’s place during episode four, the same one where later Buck ‘steps in’ Eddie's life and introduces Carla Pierce to him [Eddie] so she can take care of Christopher (his son) while he works. And then in episode 17 of season two, Shannon (Eddie's estranged wife) dies. — Chimney meets Maddie through Buck introducing them at her house-move-in during season 2 episode 6, where he helps her install camera devices so she is safe (not yet aware of Doug.) Maddie tells Buck ‘he is so cute’ (to which he thinks she's referring to Eddie) in that same scene. They become acquainted and start hanging out, and two episodes later Buck notes they're dating without actually knowing it. After denying it, Maddie and Chim have their first date in episode 11 (unsuccessfully as Doug kidnaps Maddie and stabs Chimney), that same episode Maddie kills Doug (her abusive ex-husband) in self-defense.
Before misfortune knocks on their doors Chimney and Buck approach their respective relationships without any expectations. Buck starts by head-butting in a one-sided fight with Eddie where he feels overthrown by his competency and fears his place is in jeopardy, only to turn up for both of them to be complementary in the field and work together perfectly in unison. And Chim by going over to his co-worker’s sister house to help with some security system management, only to start hanging out with her exponentially until it becomes so easy to be with each other that they fall in to this lovely routine that leads to love. — Simultaneously, Eddie and Buck also start falling into the same routine, that leads to Buck co-parenting Christopher naturally.
In spite of whether you consider ‘Buddie’ romantically inclined or not by the narrative—Chimney and Buck's storylines align again, when after being done with their necessary-evil relationships they come to find a complimentary companion, at the same time.
Not only do their storylines align, but so do the salient subtleness and self-centric cerberus when it comes to their surly temperament with their respective parents, vs. them having each a postiche family:
Chimney's father is notoriously an entrenched man who barely took notice or interest of little Howard or his wife when they lived under the same roof. He was difficult to impress (stoic), uninterested, neglectful—the latter worsening when Jee-Hyun Han (Chimney's mother) passed away from cancer. During his early years, as stated in the show, Chimney tried really hard to obtain his father's approval, futilely. His abortive tries ended up resulting in deception, so he gave up on building any further relationship with his care-taker [father]. They moved to the USA, and ultimately only his father went back to Korea after Chimney's mother stayed on her ground about staying there for the time forward. Unfortunately, as I said, his mother [Jee-Hyun Han] would end up dying years later when he is 14-15, and the Lee’s [Jee-Hyun Han's best friends who had a kid, Kevin, his age] took his tutelage — Buck was the youngest of 3 (unknown to him at that point.) Both of his parents were complex characters who were devoted to their own grief and catastrophic premonitions, that would turn into a repelling force of care-giving. Buck was nescient to the reasonings behind his birth, that he'd been purposefully tethered to higher responsibilities; conceived to be bed out to another body, to be the saviour of the brother he didn't know existed. Margaret Buckley is shown as highly depressed, cynically negging, a gaslighter, caught up in her vexation and showing signs of someone that is predestinarian. Philip Buckley is an enabler, repressedly angry, also a gaslighter, and conveniently demanding. They're both neglectful emotionally and physically, meeting Buck's demands momentarily to fulfill their guilty consciousness. Buck spends his childhood and teenage years trying to make himself visible, to the point of getting hurt on purpose for crumbs of their attention. He is unsuccessful to obtain their love at all, and leaves eventually after he's kicked out of college.
It is not surprising then, that Chimney and Buck, who have been abandoned by their primary care-givers and have fought to get their attention suffer from issues recognising their worth and don't step back from a fight to defend themselves when faced with the incognitas and comments from their parents. They're both reactive to stimuli, and use their fight mode to confront the world as seen multiple times.
Before becoming a firefighter Chimney hustles. He works multiple jobs trying to find a way to make ends meet while simultaneously searching for something that calls to him. He ends up working sometimes at a bar under Kevin's management. Unfortunately the bar is at a loss. But he finds that throughout helping people exit the establishment calmly and effectively, most importantly, safely, he wants to be a firefighter. Chimney is 25-26 at this point, as it dates 2005. — Buck spends the rest of what's left of his twenties cross-country with his jeep. He tries many jobs, and strolls without a purpose all over the country. At some point he ends up in Perú. He's working at a beach-bar when Connor (friend of his) approaches him with a proposition of going to LA, where Buck eventually finds his way to the fire academy and the 118. Buck is 25-26 at this point, as stated in the show that he is 26 whilst being a probie in s1.
There's a parallel in both age and situational that brings them to being firefighters at the end.
Chimney unfortunately loses Kevin in an emergency, who also becomes a firefighter with him. He is also at risk of losing Albert (step-brother) when his car flips over in a drunk-driver accident while Maddie is giving birth. He also loses Maddie same instances as Buck. — Buck feels the secret of Daniel (older brother who lost his life to juvenile-leukemia) throughout his life like a curse. Almost loses Maddie the first time to Doug kidnapping her, and a second time to Amber (the serial killer) kidnapping her and slashing her throat while pregnant with her second child. He thinks he's lost Eddie during the well incident, then loses Eddie during the sniper arch when he gets shoot, and thinks he's almost lost him again when Christopher calls him about Eddie's breakdown where he destroys his own room.
Chimney finds parents who love him in the Lee’s — Buck finds parents that love him in Bobby and Athena.
The subsequent likeness in their [Chim and Buck's] storylines is the quintessence of the matter that leads to Maddie and Eddie also being tantamount. They work as a mirage of their stories' intertextuality. Something that came about to me while watching 8x12 last night. The chance that we would get an episode centric on Eddie and Maddie were slim, but never none, and the way it was done so shows what I stated previously — Essentially the nature of their stories being paralleled.

Well, I was sufficiently enabled for the idea, so here it is: ✨Alex P. Keaton's Top Neurodivergent Moments✨
The funny thing is that the amount of time I put into scrolling through my encyclopedic mental inventory of Family Ties scenes, compiling these moments in a list, making gifs, and finding past gifsets/analysis to link back to makes creating this post one of my most neurodivergent moments. Good for me.
These will be organized by season (easier for me than trying to rank on a scale) and are in no way ALL of the moments. I'd need like...15 posts for that. Also, tumblr only allows 30 images/gifs per post, so I'm going to include links to past posts when possible.
ENJOY!
• Alex gets his first-ever failing grade and immediately decides to quit school
Exactly what it says. Alex strolls into college all bright-eyed and confident and ends up a broken shell of a guy just a week or so later. The prototypical Gifted Kid from the moment he learned to speak, Alex cannot handle anything less than perfection. Getting the first F of his life shatters his entire self-image, and he wants to drop out of college entirely.
• Alex's friend Doug announces he's getting married, and Alex spirals into despair. As one does.
The entirety of the "Best Man" episode is one big Alex displaying neurodivergent behaviors moment, honestly. There are a whole lot of Alex-centered plots that are set into motion because A Change happens, and he just cannot deal with it, and this is one of the best examples. Alex is so distraught at the suddenly altered dynamic that he wanders the house like a lost soul—sad and confused and needy. He walks in on Steven's shower just to give him a hug, offers to go shopping with Mal and play dolls with Jen, and also draws up a seven-year contract for his other friends to sign to ensure they stick to their regularly scheduled card games, lest they also run off to get married and destroy his life.
• Alex P. Keaton: child development expert
When faced with the news of another sibling on the way, Alex has some very nurturing advice at the ready for when the baby is crying.

• The Keatons all laugh at a funny story. Alex is not amused.
This is one of my favorite Alex scenes of the series. Uncle Rob shares a memory of the time Steven was young and got in trouble because he started rebelling against the system and refused to write his name in the designated spot on his school test papers. The family shares a hearty laugh. Alex, king of black-and-white thinking and lover of rules, is deeply upset.
I love him so much. He genuinely cannot see how they're enjoying such a story. The Name Spot is for names. And his father dared to write in the Not For Names Spot?? Jail for Steven.
He's so ridiculously autistic.
• Alex's favorite childhood toy
It was a cardboard box. I can't quite put into words why this sets off my ND radar, but it does. Maybe it's the being attached to unusual items thing that's common with autism? The intense fixations that make other people go ????
The Alex and Ba-ba plotline provides some wonderful Alex Lore.
• Mr. Mustache
Yeah, those intense fixations? In the "Fool for Love" episode, Alex grows a mustache and legitimately cannot speak about anything else for the several days that follow. He's asked to present a speech at Mallory's homecoming dance and centers his entire speech around his mustache. He's unable to have a conversation that doesn't involve mustaches. It's incredible.
• Everything in "Matchmaker"
Alex is so sweet in this one. After Mallory comes home crying after a bad date, Alex promises to help her find a great guy. Unfortunately, putting someone who struggles socially and with processing emotions in charge of your love life isn't exactly a great fit. Alex uses the power of science to craft a formula to find Mallory's perfect match (he isn't), then tags along on their date and helps foster a very natural environment (it isn't) for the relationship to flourish (it doesn't).
The episode ends with a great scene between Alex and Mallory that shows just how well Mal understands the inner-workings of her big brother's head.
• Divorce is tough. Alex has some advice.
The Keaton kids are shocked to learn that their Uncle Rob is divorcing their Aunt Maureen. As Jen and Mallory reel from the information, Alex helps to reframe things.
He then pulls out the Special Interest Card and compares the divorce of their aunt and uncle to a "failed merger, not unlike the breakup of the phone company—although obviously less emotional. Nothing more than a natural fluctuation in the marketplace of love and marriage."
And the thing is, he IS impacted by the news. He just hasn't the slightest clue how to actually process it. So, a simple failed merger it is!
• You had one job
Mallory needs some croissants for a fancy get-together she's having with her poetry class. Alex helpfully offers to go pick them up.
Now, I debated about this one because there's part of me that's like, "Hmm, did Alex purposely do this to annoy Mallory?" Is this just a jerk move? But you know what? It stays on the list because the whole "I personally don't like this thing and struggle to see how anyone else could. Therefore, I will get the thing I like" is (for me) a relatable aspect of being ND.
• Every single second of "A, My Name is Alex"
For real, though. This episode is a deep dive into how Alex became the person he is, and it is FILLED with "flashbacks" of an intensely neurodivergent child whose issues were made worse by the people around him. (Mostly teachers and peers. Steven and Elyse did their best with him, but I do also have some critiques of the way they parented him). Anyway, he represses his emotions to the point of a meltdown
And then there's this
Full coin gifset here. Also, I made posts on the full episode, which can be found here and here.
• "Alex has a weird body"
That's Mallory's explanation to Andy as to why Alex can't help her when she needs someone to model one of her latest clothing creations. She says Alex's head is too big for his body, and those words, unfortunately, find their way back to him. In a mini plot reminiscent of the mustache one, Alex proceeds to obsess over the comment.
And I mean, I think being told your head is too big for your body would make anyone insecure, but it's the way Alex handles it. He's unable to have regular conversations for a while because he can't stop fixating on the size of his noggin'.
Both of the "Read it and Weep" episodes fit in this list, to be honest
• An accurate statement by Lauren
I've got to include this because it really does neatly condense a lot of who Alex is
So true, bestie.
And then, to wrap this whole thing up, there's all of this

And this is just what I can fit in this here post without going over the limit lol. Obsessed with the way MJF played Alex.
Thanks for reading ✌️
This is me with Alex, btw

Something MCR5 related is so gonna happen in November. All the flower imagery, the swords during Sharpest Lives and the new haircut at WWWY, not to mention how happy they were to play, especially during night 2, all the times Gerard mentioned wanting to tour until he's in his 50's, no new show announcements yet (except a rumoured south America tour, mentioned here). The little recognition boom they got again from WWWY would be great for releasing something now, coming from a marketing standpoint.
Then again, Foundations released out of nowhere. Doug's passing back in 2022 could've really altered the production of the album, so it could've been delayed a lot (hence the 2+ year time with no new stuff since Foundations).
A girl can dream, after all.

NOVEMBER
kinktober day twenty-five: edging
pairing: doug remer x f!reader
summary: no nut november hasn't been treating you and remer too well
genre: smut
word count: 2039
cw: fingering, mild dom!remer, dry humping i wanna say, mild edging (too lazy to make it excessive), p in v
author's note: ignore that it says kinktober and it's literally march...but heyyyyyy how y'all doin. this one is mainly for krystal since she's my biggest supporter but like the others can read too.
At first the idea was fun. Spending the entirety of November not touching one another. Maybe seeing how far the two of you could get before the other one taps out. But now it was starting to get a little ridiculous and you were only halfway through.
This was the longest you and Remer had gone without having some sort of intercourse with one another. And you knew it was probably driving him insane just as much as it drove you insane, considering he seemed to never be able to turn it off.
You glanced over at Remer, feeling his hand as he stroked your thigh gently while the two of you watched a movie with one another. You bit your bottom lip gently, deciding to try and take the opportunity while you had it, after all if he lost first it would be okay if you did.
He held you close against his body as he occasionally gave you a small grin while watching the movie, which you barely knew what was going on even when Remer would get overly excited and start pointing at the screen telling you to watch his “favorite part”. He had a lot of “favorite parts”.
“Are you paying attention?”
“Mmhmm,” You hummed softly, continuing to look at him.
He let out a small laugh as he turned his attention back to you, “No you aren’t.” He moved his hand from your thigh and caressed your cheek, holding your face gently. You rolled your eyes playfully, “Sorry I’m just thinking..”
“What about?” His voice was soft as he looked at you, his thumb stroking your cheek. You gave him a shrug. You didn’t want to tell him what was bothering you because well knowing Remer, he’d probably make fun of you a little.
“Come on, you know you can tell me anything. Was I talking too much during the movie?” From the look in his eyes and the tone in his voice, you knew you were starting to worry him too much so you let out a small sigh.
“I miss…well you know,” You let your finger trail up his thigh gently as he looked at you confused at first before his face altered and he grinned down at you.
“Miss letting the Doctor make you feel good?”
You hated when he called himself that. And he wasn’t even calling himself that. He was calling his “manhood” that. The first time he did he said it was because the Doctor had a PHD….pretty huge…yeah.
You pulled away from him, rolling your eyes as you did so, “Forget it.”
He let out a chuckle before scooting close to you, “I’m sorry I’m sorry.”
His hand touched your arm gently as he got close to you, “We can always do stuff without the..well you know.”
You felt him rest his head on your shoulder, his curls touching your ear as he did. His breath was hot on your neck as he started kissing it lightly, your heart beginning to race almost as if it would leap right out of your chest. His lips moved to yours, as he moved slowly, carefully, almost in a teasing motion.
His tongue made its way into your mouth, as you moved your hands into his hair, feeling his curls wrap around your fingers as you did. He leaned you against the cushions on the couch, hovering over you as he gripped your wrists tightly, pinning them above your head causing you to let out a small moan into his mouth.
He let out a small groan in response, pulling apart as he leaned down to your ear, “God I missed the sound of your moans,” His voice spoke lowly before he chuckled lightly as he nibbled on your earlobe, letting his free hand run along your side. You let out a small whimper as Remer’s lips moved to your neck, leaving a combination of bites and licks, as he left hickeys along the side.
You started to feel the bulge in Remer’s shorts grow as it brushed against your clothed cunt, causing you to let out a small gasp. Remer’s free hand ran along your shirt, sliding underneath as he started to lightly massage your breast, letting out softs groans as you made your own noises.
One of the biggest things about Remer is that he rarely had to touch himself, for nothing turned him on more, than pleasuring you. And he always made sure of it the way he would whine in chorus with your moans, even if it was just when he had his head between your thighs.
His fingers pinched lightly at your hardened nipples causing you to jump lightly as you looked down at him, “Remer.” The tone in your voice was slightly harsh as you spoke, caused from the light pain of the pinch.
He chuckled lightly as he looked into your eyes, “Sorry.” Your eyebrows furrowed as you glared at him but only for a short moment before you felt Remer’s mouth pressed against your stomach. His hands had moved to your waist after he lifted your shirt as he pressed soft kisses against your lower stomach.
The lower the kissing got, the faster your heart rate got, the more your core ached for him. Even if it was just his tongues lapping at your folds, you wanted something from him. You needed something from him.
He removed his hands from your waist, tugging off your shirt revealing your bare chest, a soft moan escaping from him in the process. “God, you’re so beautiful,” His voice came out barely a whisper as he spoke to you, a combination of lust and love clouding his eyes.
His mouth wrapped around one of your nipples, while his hand continued to play with the other. You looked down at him, small gasps leaving your lips as he continued sucking, feeling the occasional sensation of his tongue flicking it lightly before he pulled away and repeated the same with the other.
You moved your hips up slightly, letting yourself graze against the bulge in his shorts as his eyebrows furrowed lightly when he moaned. His eyes stayed shut as you continued grinding against him gently, his moans muffled as he didn’t remove his mouth from your chest.
His moans increased as his mouth pulled away, his head laying against your chest as you continued grinding your hips. His cheeks began to flush as he let out almost a girlish gasp, while his body tensed before he relaxed.
“Did you just..?”
“Shut up.” He almost growled as he leaned up, putting his lips to yours once more as he started kissing you.
He lost. He lost and you knew it.
The kiss started to grow rougher as his hands pulled at your pants, tugging them down to your ankles before you kicked them off. You squirmed under his touch as he pushed his finger tips against your core, feeling the wetness through your panties as he let out a groan. “For me?”
His words came out in almost a teasing tone as he moved aside your panties, thrusting in two fingers causing you to arch your back almost immediately in response. A cheeky grin rose to his face as he watched you, curling his fingers inside while you gripped onto the couch below you.
You felt the thumbnail of his free hand dig into your hip as he continued pumping his fingers, groans escaping from him as he held his gaze with your pussy, watching every move he made to make sure he hit every spot.
You bite your bottom lip as you looked down at him, “R-Remer..” His name spilled out in a stutter, barely able to form words as it had been what felt like months since the last time he touched you in such a way. Almost like it was the first time you had been together.
“Hm?” His tone was soft, pulling his gaze away as he looked up at you, his eyes wide.
“I-I need you…please” You managed to whine out, knowing his fingers weren’t enough.
His fingers curled at your sentence causing you to let out a gasp as he continued grinning at you. “Oh you do?”
The thrusting only increased as he continued curling his fingers, hitting you g-spot every time causing chills to run down your spine as you let out another moan. “Sounds to me like you’re doing just fine,” He teased, repeating his motion once more.
“JesusFuckingChristDouglasRemerIfYouDon’tCutItOut..”
He chuckled at your response before you felt the familiar feeling growing in the pit of your stomach, “Remer I’m close..please.” The words were followed by a gasp as you clenched your walls around his fingers, hardly able to hold your orgasm back before you felt him pull his fingers away, playfully licking off the juices as he held eye contact with you while shaking his head.
“Did you hope it would be that easy?” He spoke as he started pulling off his shorts revealing his boxers with a slight wet spot next to the noticeable bulge that you had caused.
Your heart raced as Remer took off his boxers, throwing them to some place in the living room that Coop would probably accidentally find later, after all it wouldn’t be the first time that happened.
As your breathing started to slow down, you stared at his cock as he stroked himself. His breathing turned into more feminine moans as he quickly pulled you forward by your legs, allowing himself to thrust in.
“O-Oh fuck me,” The words spilled from your lips as Remer raised an eyebrow at you.
“Is that not what I’m doing?”
“Remer I love you. But if you don’t stop..” Your words were cut off by the feeling of Remer’s thrust starting to increase speed quickly.
His hand moved to your hair as he leaned down, touching his forehead with yours as he thrusted. His eyebrows furrowed while his lips parted. He looked into your eyes through hooded eyelids, barely able to think as he moved in and out of you.
You quietly thanked God at the idea of Coop not being home to hear the sounds coming from the two of you. For an outsider it definitely would’ve sounded like two girls going at it with the way Remer moaned as he thrusted.
Your hands find their way to Remer’s back, digging your nails in, which only encouraged him to go faster and harder. His thrusts halting every now and then as he angled himself more upward, making sure to hit your g-spot as you would moan louder in response.
His eyes started to drink in the sight of you, watching your face as the sounds escaped you, or the way the sweat had begun to glisten off your body as the room started to heat up between the two of you. “I love you,” The words came from him causing your racing heart to flutter.
His hand moves from your hips as he starts rubbing your clit in rhythm with his thrusts.
The sudden pressure and friction on your clit, his hand flexing subtly as it stayed tangled in your hair, his labored breathing hitting your skin was enough to drive you crazier and bring you closer to the edge.
Worried he’d stop again you stayed quiet, allowing your body to shudder as you reached your orgasm. He let out a groan as you clenched around his cock, tugging onto your hair, “Fuck..”
It didn’t take him much longer, the sight of you coming around him sent him over the edge, his hips moving as he came.
The two of you sat there looking at one another, breathing heavily with flushed cheeks, sticky with the sweat that covered one another as you just stared. You didn’t need to exchange words because both of you knew what you were feeling at that moment.
“Awwggghhh! Again!” Coop’s voice echoed from the door causing the both of you to jump up and quickly grab the blanket draped on the back of the couch before looking at the disgusted and disappointed bottle blonde before Remer let out a small laugh, causing you to do the same.

HERMIT A DAY MAY - DAY 27
Grian x Doug
For Grian I chose the 1991 children's sitcom called Doug!
I loved this show as a kid. Doug is a sweet show about a creative kid who daydreams a lot. One of Doug's most iconic daydream scenarios is when he transforms into his superhero alter ego, Quailman.
As you might have guessed, the existence of Quailman is the reason I matched this show with Poultrym-I mean, Grian.
To learn more about Doug and see my style references, go below the cut.
@hermitadaymay
(Donating to Gamer's Outreach is pretty heroic!)
Doug follows the day to day adventures of an 11 year old boy by the same name. Doug narrates the show through his journal and deals with the typical struggles any middle schooler would have, like acne, bullies, bad haircuts, and having a crush on his friend Patti.
Between his misadventures at school, the show also follows his imaginative daydreams, which includes frequent appearances from Quailman.
Doug is a fun, wholesome show suitable for all ages.
Style references:

Doug with his friend and crush Patti Mayonnaise

Doug as Quailman with his dog, Porkchop, as his trusty sidekick

Doug title
#I considered drawing Grian as Poultryman#using household items to make the costume#but I couldnt think of how to make a homemade chicken head not look creepy#and there isnt much else to his Poultryman costume#So I just drew regular Grian#hermitaday#hermitcraft#grian#grianmc

9-1-1's Jennifer Love Hewitt on Maddie's Kidnapping and Her Intense Fight for Survival
Last December, Jennifer Love Hewitt declared that she had just finished shooting "the craziest thing" that her 9-1-1 character, Maddie Han, had ever been through besides surviving her abusive ex-husband, Doug Kendall (played by her real-life spouse, Brian Hallisay), in the second season. Hewitt wasn't lying. In the two-part return of the high-octane ABC first-responder drama, Maddie crosses a moral line as a 9-1-1 dispatcher with an alleged serial killer and then gets assaulted and drugged in her own home by none other than Amber Braeburn (a terrifying Abigail Spencer), the LAPD detective who secretly concocted an elaborate scheme to make Maddie believe she had indirectly killed that serial killer. The midseason premiere saw Maddie taking a series of calls from a serial killer using a digitally altered voice to confess to kidnapping yet another young girl (despite admitting that part of them no longer wanted to do that anymore). The killer had figured out a creepy way to get under Maddie's skin — they sent the police to the wrong address, made Maddie guilty for betraying their trust, and even brought up Maddie's own daughter with Chimney (Kenneth Choi), Jee-Yun, on a subsequent call to the dispatch center.

hiii :D so i recently read some of your fanfics after finishing the show and i REALLY like how you write them- so my question is what resources did you use to write DID/ being Jewish correctly? I'm planning on writing myself and i want to get everything about them done good since i myself dont have those two things. Also as a added bonus what comics do you recommend me reading for good characterization for Jake since ive heard that they fucked up writing him in some of the comics.
Hi!
This is embarrassing. I write by the skin of my teeth. Open doc, just start typing. I also write from a lot of deep personal experience and emotion (and trauma). There's two in particular that come from real life experience for me. I'll let you guess which two. You'll be surprised.
What research did I do? Well... I spent a solid year working very....VERY hard and can now say I am Jewish! So the research was pretty intense there. I'm sorry I can't point to any particular spots for that. In terms of understanding Marc's Jewish trauma, the best I can point to is Zelenetz's issues that explore Marc's past with his father. Absolutely amazing and a great view on generational trauma. I also recommend looking into how generational trauma works. It's a fantastic understanding on where he's coming from.
For research into DID? So, I used to want to be a psychologist when I was growing up. I was obsessed with trying to understand mental illnesses that were being depicted in movies and books and understanding how they worked and how they differed from what was being shown. I latched onto Moon Knight for a lot of reasons, but he was also the first mentally ill person openly depicted in comics that I had ever seen. And they didn't make it look glamorous and didn't do the evil alter route. So naturally I fell down the rabbit hole.
What also helped? I met some amazing people that have DID and listened to them.
Don't make it look flashy or extra. It's often a slow thing and the people that care about them the most and know them quickly learn how to tell them apart. I know a husband and wife pair that can walk into a room and instantly know who is sitting there before the other even says anything.
Just remember that it's a real thing that happens and it isn't a romantic or glamorous thing. It's a thing that comes about because of significant real life trauma that leaves a terrible scar. Sometimes you get some amazing beautiful people out of it that unfortunately suffer terribly at times. But it isn't all suffering. There's good days, there's bad days.
Just know that you aren't going to always get it right. Not everyone with DID has the same experience and some of them are going to say you got it 100% and others will say you know shit and move on.
There are a lot of people with DID in the Moon Knight fandom. Some of them are willing to talk about some things and answer questions. A lot of them aren't. Respect that. It's their life, not a show.
ALRIGHT. Now the comics. Read OG Doug Moench. His run has the most and best Jake Lockley in it. He's loving, he's a people person, and he has strong feelings. After that, you can get into Lemire. he's in it, but not as much. You actually get a lot of Steven in that one, which is SUPER rare. And honestly, the Steven in that run is probably the closest and main reason for the Steven in the MCU show.
Then you can skip a LOT of comics because Jake is trashed after that.
Jump back in at McKay. His Jake Lockley is the fun Uncle that sneaks you a twenty when your parents aren't looking with instructions to 'have fun kid' and then ruffling your hair. There is not a lot of Jake there, sadly, but there's enough to make me smile.
Sorry I couldn't give you a more definitive answer with things to go look into.
Best I can tell you is just write from a good place. Don't write for shock value and don't over do it. Write what you know and don't try to fill in the blanks with something that you spent two seconds googling.
#Ask me about Moon Knight#Writing Moon Knight is like picking up an emotional grenade and hoping it's a dud#It's never a dud#Marc is always a dumpster fire#Steven is always the smart one that's full of sass#Jake is the one that cares too much#But always remember that all three of them are deep down just idiots

Costume Meta 7x06
Me on holiday trying to write a costume meta - yeah probably gonna keep this one shortish because - you know - on holiday!!!
We have plenty to get through this episode an dI had zero Idea how to set this one out because its kinda immpossible!
So in the end I just decided to go with the flow and therefore this is probably a bit all over the place in terms of organisation!
Chimney
Ok so Chimney exclusively wears check for this episode, apart from his hospital gown, which I'm not going to talk about as its a hosptial gown!
Chimneys first shirt is a grey and white rectangle gingham we see him in when he is having dinner with the Lee's to remember Kevin.
Grey is a neutral colour and can be linked with feelings of depression and compromise. These are key indicators of what is going on with Chim in this scene - he isn't depressed, but his spirits are clearly depressed (as in mute) and this should be seen as an alarm bell for Chimney - he who is forever optimistic - its all adding to the arc of Chimney not being himself - of something being wrong with him.
His second shirt is this cream with a double blue check pattern - the increased amount of check plays into his encephalitic deterioration - showing he is becoming increasingly confused/delirious etc - the check patterning ins far more obvious and distinctive, unlike the grey gingham from earlier - which kind of blurs out to look more overall grey even if you can still see its a check pattern.
Doug
Not going to dwell on Doug for long, but I do want to mention the fact that they put him in the very same costumes he was wearing in season 2. This triggers visual memories for audience members who have been watching the show from the beginning (or have watched those earlier episodes recently) because even if you don't quite connect the dots on why, you automatically know that this is a hallucination and not reality - the other visuals (such as him being there then not) add to this understanding, but it is the costumes that connect the Doug we're watching here and the Doug from the past.
Maddie
Gonna go in reverse with Maddie's costumes! here we have her in Chims hospital room, wearing a very similar outfit to the one she worse in his hospital room back in season 2 in the aftermath of Doug, the blue is now navy rather than the grey/blue of the earlier one, but that plays into the idea of a deeper relationship - they were just at the begining back in season 2 - the grey played into Maddie providing a soothing and relaxing presence for Chim, while the undetone of blue played into the growing trust and loyalty they shared. Now the navy blue is showing the strength of that trust and loyalty, while also hinting at Maddie feeling in a darkish place - her fear at losing the love of her life.
Maddies wedding dress - it’s a stunning dress and I love that it’s not all white - it’s a mix of white tulle and champagne embroidered lace. The dress having chapagne embroidered lace is really lovely - the golden brownish yellow tones of champagne as a colour in colour theory are emblematic of a driven and powerful personality (which we see displayed very clearly in this episode) as well as of modesty, excitement and fun.
When I first saw it, not going to lie, I had mixed feelings about it - but I think most of my issues with the dress stem from the fact it’s not especially well fitted to Jennifer - not sure if it’s because they rented it rather than buying outright so couldn’t alter it or if there are other factors at play, but that aside it’s a really great dress and very Maddie.
It makes sense that she would actually choose to go all out for the wedding - to overwrite all the memories of her wedding to Doug - this wedding is the one she wants to remember - the one she’ll look back on in the years to come, so for her to get to pick out a grand dress (especially as she likely didn’t get any choice in her previous dress)
Beyond that there’s not a lot I can say from a costume and colour perspective - it’s a wedding dress doing wedding dress things!!
Hen
Hen is in a black suit for her role as best woman, its full of Hens personality, whilst being subtle and fitting for a wedding - there really isn't a lot to say about it from a colour perspective, or from a design perspective - its doing everything it need to perfectly (it is also stunning and I would very much like to own it), not making Hen the centre of attention, whilst also ensuring we're aware of her importance within the wedding party.
Then we have Bachelor party Hen, who is definetley rocking more of a 70's vibe in those jeans (which I also love and want please!!) and shirt and Karen is definetely more 90's vibes in the black and gold Chinese suit.
THis is really intentional - we have the context of Chim not being into having a bachelor party (which we know he would've actually loved and enjoyed had his brain not been being eat by a viral infection) and so every one else not being in costume except Eddie and Buck is very much about them feeding off the vibes Chim had been giving - they've made an effort to get dressed up, but they haven't gone with the theming.
Chris
Chirs is wearing a surf shirt - it's by Quicksilver and I've included a better picture of the pattern below, because what you can't see with the filter on the camera is that the little logos on the shirt are in both blue and green. They're all symbols associated with surf and water.
So the water theming around Christopher (and Buck and Eddie) continues and we have the added fact that blue green theory is in play here as well - and it was in play a lot throughout the episode in relation to Buck and Eddie.
Tommy
Only one brief costume to look at for Tommy in this episode and its very much continuing the theming we've seen on him this entire season. We continue to see him in a Henley and jeans. This one is navy blue.
Choices were definitely made when it came to this outfit and the fact he hasn't chosen to dress up in any way - its part of the wider arc at play in this season (for all characters, not just Buck or Eddie - its the seasons theme - which is fitting considering we've moved to a new network and its a way of establishing/re-establishing the characters, their motivations and their interpersonal relationships) that Tommy doesn't know Buck - its not only highlighting the difference between Buck and Eddie and Buck and Tommy, but also calling back to the literal episode titled 'you don't know me' and emphasising that tommy doesn't know Buck and his quirks at this point (this is not Tommy bashing before anyone comes for me - I like Tommy and I wouldn't expect him to know that Buck gets super invested in things in this way at this point I am merely pointing out that the costume is highlighting the newness of their relationship).
Bobby and Athena
Bobby and Athena are exclusively in blue and green this episode - we have the brighter jewel toned blue suit and emerald green dress of the wedding which are switched out for the more muted navy polo and khaki green jacket when the search for Chim gets underway.
The brighter colours are much more hopeful and cheerful - the bright blue of Bobbys suit with the meaning of trust and loyalty it is a supportive shade, meanwhile the green of Athena’s dress symbolises growth and health and luck.
The more muted tones of the search play into their respective roles - Bobby becomes a fire captain just without the logo - it gives him the air of authority, while remaining supportive and dependable. Meanwhile Athena’s khaki green - a very typical shade plays into her position as a police officer - she is prepared to fight to figure out what happened to Chim - it’s an echo of the outfit she wore when investigating Eddie’s shooting back in season 4 - a key parallel considering we get a lot of other costume parallels this episode!
Buck and Eddie
Again we're doing these two back to front, - the above picture shows them during the search for Chim and we have the very loud and obvious green and blue pairing in parallel to Bobby and Athena. its setting them up as a unit.
I am still not over getting Buck in jeans - I probably won't be for a while, so get used to me screaming about them at every opportunity - because they have played a blinder with them - the fact that we get Buck in jeans here, along with his white trainers
The other thing that I love about these two costumes is the way they both play into their respective costume styles. We've only seen Eddie in his army geen colourway once so far this season when he found out Chris was seeing multiple girls, and this is the first Henley we have him in - when he is normally king of the Henleys - this indicates where Eddie is at - ready to go to war for his found family, in the same way Athena is, but also that this is a comfortable state for him.
Bucks bright cobalt blue plays into his blue theme thats been building over the last season and a half - its telling us he's in a good place, more settled (in relation to Tommy not Chim being missing!) and its an indicator of his loyalty and trust, but the main thing about cobalt blue specifically is that its considered a colour of enlightenment - so continues the theme of Bucks bi awakening being about him becoming enlightened!
Buck and Eddie being the only ones to have got dressed up to the 80's theme is all about showing them as a solid unit - they will feed off each others energy regardless of what it is. this is them being best friends best friending and being completely oblivious to everyone else - especially Chim's lack of enthusiasm.
The pink on Eddie plays two fold - it plays into the innocence and naivety theme the costumes are giving us this season - slotting Eddie into that narrative more firmly than just having Marisol wear it in episode 1 - it ensures that theme continues past the intial reveal that she was a novice nun - this is important because it reminds the audience subconsciously about that plotline. I don't expect to see him in any more pink this season, but I have a feeling we might see Marisol in more pink down the line as their arc unfolds.
I am interested to see how it plays into the guilt aspect though - the pink we've seen on other characters in other plots have revolved around feeling guilty - Lola being in pink when her cheating on Norman is revealed, and his innocence in it all as that plot is playing out having him also in pink. It suggests to me that we're going to get something relating to guilt - beyond catholic guilt - sitting pretty heavily in Eddies arc for the rest of the season!
(popping back in to finish this meta and now I'm screaming at myself for not connecting more dots earlier - I was so so close to connecting the mall - so close!!)
So we have buck back in white - a key indicator that things are going to go wrong - mirroring all the other times Buck has worn white and either ended up in the middle of a disaster (tsunami!) or in some kind of trouble. The trouble here is obviously that Chim didn’t turn up for his bachelor party and has gone missing. It’s an indicator of the seriousness of the situation because Buck doesn’t wear white when it’s a trivial thing going wrong.
Then we have his greenish beige double breasted blazer - I have spent so long trying to figure out what colour this jacket is supposed to be and I’ve decided to trend towards beige with a green undertone. Beige is considered a trendy colour and is therefore its meaning suggests forward thinking and fashionable (don’t ask me why I have zero idea!!) the irony of buck being in beige is that it’s also considered the antithesis of intoxicating, The green undertone has the same vibe as the green shirt he wore to donate his sperm - and so there is a similar vibe going on here - that idea that things are going to go very awry, but will untimately end in sucess!
I've included a couple of stills below of Crocket and Tubbs - just so you can see how perfectly the wardrobe team managed to create the vibe of them - as the same time as making both of them both Crocket and Tubbs - because they have elements of each of them in their costumes - which is just genius!!

one final little nod to a fun thing the costume team have done - calling back to Bucks Coma dream costume - when he was a teacher - like his parents - by dressing Margaret in a blue version of the same outfit!!
Sorry this was so late and not as in depth as some of my other meta's - but I got there in the end and I hope you enjoy it!!
Off to write 7x07's meta now!!
