Blessing of Protector of Demigods and Protector of Youths

the first bead the demigods got at camp half blood wasnt always of the first summer they were there.

It was a pearl, with sun etched on its surface as the camp was started by Perse Athenide and Apollo.

(I cant draw very good anymore so i made use of my CAD skills to make what i think its like)

It glowed green-blue and gave off homely warmth when praying to Perse and/or Apollo. It had the blessing of both the gods.

The pearl broke when the demigod died or when one of the gods took the blessing away from the demigod (Achilles after he killed Troilus or Theseus and Heracles' misdeeds).

This tradition stopped after Perse's fading. Her blessing vanished too from the remaining pearls. They only gave off homely warmth because of Apollo.

Only one pearl like this remains, it belongs to Dionysus. He prayed to his mother even after her death, just to feel something of hers in the glow of the pearl, her blessing.

It glowed briefly after Perse entered camp Half blood, sending Dionysus spiraling.

The story of Tobias' parents are SO tied up with their identities as an alien and a mortal human, I kept rotating Tobias around in my head trying to figure out how I could make him a demigod.

Then I remembered I'm dealing with the Greek Gods and the solution became crystal clear.

Even if it's by way of second-hand DNA, Apollo will absolutely adopt Tobias, no questions asked. Red-tailed hawks can have a loving, attentive parent & a bunch of sunshine siblings. As a treat.

HEADCANNON!!!

After the Trials Of Apollo, even when in Olympus Apollo stayed in his Lester body.

At first the other gods thought this was a taunt to Zeus, or maybe to Dionysus due to his form being part of a punishment while Dionysus is still serving his punishment; but they soon realised it wasn’t.

Apollo would regularly make trips to earth, interact with humans and Demi-gods; which also confused the other Gods. Why was he there but not having children?? Why was he just wandering earth and not harming the useless mortals??

All of this attributes to Apollo becoming the favourite of the Gods for the demi-gods and mortals who are aware of the god’s existence.

As a multishipper I'm pretty cool with most, if not all, pairings and can even see the logic behind them—except for Apollo and Percy. And not because I don't think they'd work or be cute together etc. but because Poseidon would never allow it.

Whenever I try to picture Percy and Apollo flirting Poseidon pops up and is just like "No". Carefully takes hold of Percy's shoulders, gives him a soft look as he shakes his head and gently tells him "No". Before turning around snatching up Apollo by the collar and glaring at him with a rage that shakes the earth as he grits out a firm "No" putting as much malice and threat behind it as he possibly can. Like I can't picture him ever allowing this to go down and it's kinda hilarious to me.
