when I try to connect with aces: "omg we still love though!! we still feel love just as much as other people!!" (i can't really relate to that) when I try to connect with aros: "NOT ALL AROS ARE ACE NOT ALL AROS ARE ACE" (I am very asexual) when I try to connect with aroaces: "we can still have relationships we love platonic relationships!! we can feel aesthetic attraction!!" (I don't feel platonic connections that strongly and I don't really feel aesthetic attraction either)

when I try to connect with repulsed aspecs: i still don't seem to fit in entirely because this is still a wide range of people, finding someone that's specifically sex-repulsed but not romance-repulsed is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. and I'm not certain on if I'm non-partnering or not! i don't KNOW.

Since you mentioned the alt apothi- (aspec) flags I made and the X symbol, I just remade the apothigender flag in that style.

The colours and general design are the same, but the style of the symbol is different. It has outlines, a different shape and size. I also made the stripes equally sized.

Reminds me of fellow Hellaverse critics, saying Alastor isn't ace just because he didn't say it and "could've easily found out" - like, okay, but he's still ace. He's bad ace representation, but he's still ace. He's a poorly-written character, he's canonically evil, he's the "selfish ace" stereotype, etc, but he's still ace, and my OC based on him and stuff, is gonna be anticarnal apothiace.

If you hear of a character being romance/sex repulsed and your first thought is to try to debunk or ignore it, fuck you.

If you hear of a character being aro/ace and your first thought is to say it's not canon because it wasn't explicitly stated in the media they're in (even if it was confirmed by the creator), fuck you.

If you hear of a character being romance/sex repulsed and your first thought is to say that character is boring/lonely/sad/evil because of that, fuck you.

It's almost comical how fandom is largely filled with people who claim to support aro/aces until their favorite character happens to be aro/ace. Then it's every excuse under the sun to ignore that or better yet, claim it's not canon.

A lot of you don't give that same treatment to gay characters, so you might wanna figure out why you're so okay with doing it to these ones.

divisive thought here, but can we stop sexualizing Aziraphale and Crowley? I personally don't like it because they were the first cannon asexual characters I ever saw in media. I felt seen for the first time in my life and it gave young ace me the hope that I needed, to know that we are real and not just on the internet. Y'all are human beings with free will and can do whatever you want, but please remember that it hurts some of us when you sexualize the only representation we get. Idk if to call it ace erasure but when I have to go hunting for the asexual crowley/aziraphale tag on Ao3 it makes my heart sink a little.
