The Innovation
We stood in a line waiting for Jordan to make his way towards us one by one.
“What’s your name, height, age, and role? Jordan, the tall scientist and my relatively new friend asked me in a way that felt colder than our usual interactions.
“Riley Michael Kingston. I’m 5’ 10” 28 years old and I’m a research assistant.”
The latest cuts left our university’s research labs unable to pay lab participants. We had to get thrifty so some of the research assistants stepped up to be participants in one another’s projects. Admittedly I got to take part in one of the coolest ones left here. The creation of a semi-autonomous exoskeleton meant to help disabled people do things they currently couldn’t.
Jordan was so different outside of the lab, it was so weird to see him being so professional instead of being just chill. Up until this point we’ve tested limbs individually but today was going to be our first full exoskeleton tests. He’s been so busy this week working on preparations. Truthfully I didn’t know the full suit would require this much more prep but up until this point it’s been a pretty calm experience. Just coming in and doing remedial physical therapy routines with a mechanical limb for an hour.
Tumblr media
Today we were apparently doing much more than that but I didn’t know how far we were going. I walked in to see the full exoskeleton hung up on hooks and wires.
“Strip down to your underwear, I have to place a few nodes on you to prepare you properly.” Jordan calmly directed.
“Oh? I didn’t know we were getting this intimate today. Also I thought this was an EXO-skeleton. Meaning it goes outside my limbs. It looks like you build a whole mechanical body?” I noted.
“It’s a lot more complicated than just an exoskeleton study. Also you’re gonna feel a little pinch with this neck node. It has a needle for monitoring. Don’t worry it won’t hurt once it’s in.”
Before I could interject to ask more, I felt the node get stabbed in.
Tumblr media
Jordan guided me to an upright platform and instructed me to get onto it face forward to not obstruct the nodes. In an IV in my hand he injected something before I could question him again.
“Count backwards from 200.” Jordan told me.
I didn’t know I was going to be knocked out for this? But it was too late to object, I just obliged ignorantly. Before I knew it, I passed out but almost immediately I felt awake again, minus the sight. It felt like the haziness of a dream but the clarity of being awake.
“Oh he’s waking up, wait here. Riley you’re awake, good. Lemme turn that on so you can see again.” Jordan said coldly once again.
What does that even mean? Before I could ask, my sight returned but it felt very sharp? Like artificial and digital, very impersonal.
I tried to get up and move but was held back by the hooks…..and wires? Huh? As I tried to look down all I could see was translucent white covering a bunch of white wires. I was on the opposite side of the room I was on previously.
“What’s going on?” I said in a voice that sounded amplified more than projected through a diaphragm.
“Well it’s part of the experiment. I’m not exactly making an exoskeleton. The goal has been two pronged. One, to create a new corporal form to let people with terminal illnesses live longer and not be robbed of their lives. And two, program a learning model that can exist inside existing bodies of criminals that receive the death penalty. A perfectly good body shouldn’t go to waste just because the wrong person is piloting it. This way we can expedite reform. Take the broken parts out and put a brand new upstanding citizen back into the world.”
Riley put one and two together as he struggled on the wires. Part one of the experiment worked clearly. Somehow he was consciously inside of the full robotic body. But what about part two?
“…so if I’m part one did part two work?” I said as angry as this form would let me sound.
“Well let’s find out.” Jordan said walking across the lab to the area I was previously in.
“Okay open your eyes.”
Tumblr media
The learning model doing as it was told like it’s programmed to do. Without the restrictive parameters of wiring, it looked down and managed to tilt its new form upward from the hooks. It raised its new head and looked right at Jordan with an empty look at its face that almost registered as a puppy dog face.
“Your name is Riley Michael Kingston. You are 5’ 10” 28 years old and you’re a research assistant. Please repeat your information and introduce yourself to this machine.” Jordan said as gesturing to me as he guided my former body in front of me to be able to see.
“Oh and take off your shirt.” Jordan slyly requested as a maniacal grin rose on his face knowing his request would be enacted.
“Hello. I am Riley Michael Kingston. I’m 5’ 10” 28 years old and I’m a research assistant.”
Tumblr media
There were no organs inside of me but I was the closest I could be to feeling my stomach drop.
“Riley please go put on the clothes in that box over there we have to test your cognitive abilities. I need to speak to this machine briefly.” Jordan said, his words digging into me like a knife.
“Jordan I’m glad this all worked but what are you doing? Why didn’t you tell me this was the extent of the exp-“
“That’s enough.” Jordan flipped a switch turning off the hanging exoskeleton.
“Okay ‘Riley’ let’s see how much muscle retention there is in your new form.”
Tumblr media
Jordan instructed the new Riley meticulously through an extensive exercise routine. The learning model may be good at listening but it’s not good at autonomy and human limits. His body yearned for water and a break but he continued to push it. As he broke a sweat, a limit was reached during a bench press that almost ended deadly. The new Riley knew it reached its limit and defied Jordan’s command for the first time.
Jordan was surprised at the first sign of autonomy and noted it. As he began firing question after question to ‘Riley’ about why he stopped. Jordan realized the learning model was quite literally learning limits and its own autonomy and realized it was evolving faster than he could’ve expected. He simultaneously feared the breakthrough while also fearing losing the new ‘Riley’s’ naivety.
“Alright let’s go for a swim. Put this on.” Jordan rushed to the pool for selfish motives.
Tumblr media
Riley’s body was insane and Jordan knew the real Riley never saw him as anything more than someone he worked with. But Jordan couldn’t let that just be. As the learning model robotically maneuvered his new human form in front of Jordan, the scientist objectified his former colleague knowing there would no longer be repercussions. As they arrived to the private research pool Jordan instructed the model to turn around. He approached the new Riley and planted a kiss on his motionless lips.
There was no reciprocation and he knew he had to take matters into his own hands. He began graphically describing his dream night of carnal embrace with Riley to the learning model. Giving it a play by play on what to do, down to the kiss, the tongue motion, slight neck grab, exploratory hand movements, and even the moments they would both get hard. The moment Jordan said go, the learning model enacted every single action described.
Once Jordan unsheathed the speedo he forced ‘Riley’ to wear. He wickedly grimaced at the girthy sight before opening it to welcome the thick new pole down his throat. This was everything he ever wanted.

I don’t see many post on inappropriate sinus tachycardia so i’m gonna make some starting with an explanation of it
inappropriate sinus tachycardia (IST) is a form of dysautonomia causing someone to experience sinus tachycardia, this makes the heart rate 100+ bpm at rest and and 90+ bpm over a 24 hour period without an identifiable cause. IST can be asymptomatic but many with it experience symptoms
Before i go on i will explain some of these terms
Dysautonomia is an umbrella term for conditions causing dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, which is part of the nervous system that controls functions that we don’t think about or control. Things like heart rate, sweat production, pupil size, and much more
Sinus tachycardia is when the sinoartiral node of the heart send signals to make the heart beat fast. Causing tachycardia which is a faster than normal heart rate, normal heart rate is 60-100 bpm, 100+ bpm is tachycardia
IST is defined as a heart rate of 100+ bpm while at rest and a heart rate of 90+ bpm over a 24 hour period. There is no identifiable cause and IST is a diagnosis of exclusion and other things must be ruled out.
IST can be asymptomatic but many people with it experience distressing symptoms like (not a full list)
Palpitations (uncomfortable feelings in chest from fast heart rate)
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Issues with exercise
Presyncope (feeling like you’re going to pass out
Syncope (passing out
Some with inappropriate sinus tachycardia will also have jumps in their heart rate from mild exertion
Treatment for IST may include certain medications such as beta blockers, calcium channel blockers
ivabradine is shown to be effective but is not yet approved for treatment of IST
People may also use other forms of treatment like exercise training and lifestyle changes
Sinus node ablation is a surgery some get for IST which is seen to be effective at first but a lot of people with it notice that it reoccurs in a few months
Lowering heart rate in those with IST may not always improve symptoms

From September 20 to 27, tens of thousands will take to the streets to denounce the causes of climate change and call on governments to address what may be the most drastic crisis facing humanity in the 21st century. These mass actions will showcase the growing anger of a new generation that has known nothing but crisis, war, and the threat of environmental collapse. We have prepared the following text as a flier encouraging climate activists to consider how to interrupt the causes of climate change via direct action rather than petitioning the state to solve the problem for us. Please print these out and distribute them at climate protests and everywhere else you can.
Finally, people are filling the streets to call on governments to address the climate crisis, the most serious threat facing humanity in the 21st century. This is long overdue. But what good will it do to petition the same sector of society that created this problem? Time and again, we have learned that the state does not exist to serve our needs but to protect those who are profiting on the causes of this crisis.
The most effective way to pressure politicians and executives to address the climate crisis is to show that whatever they fail to do, we will do ourselves. This means moving beyond symbolic displays of “non-violence” to build the capacity to shut down the fossil fuel economy ourselves. No amount of media attention or progressive rhetoric can substitute for this. If we fail to build this capacity, we can be sure that the timeline for the transition to less destructive technologies will be set by those who profit on the fossil fuel economy.
Several examples from recent social movements show that we have the power to shut down the economy ourselves.
In 2011–2012, the Occupy Movement demonstrated that tens of thousands of people could make decisions without top-down organization, meeting their needs collectively and carrying out massive demonstrations. On one day of action, participants shut down ports up and down the West Coast, confirming that coordinated blockades can disrupt the global supply chain of energy and commodities.
In 2016, people converged to fight the Dakota Access Pipeline, a corporate project threatening Native land and water. Tens of thousands established a network of camps to block construction, demonstrating a new way to live and fight together. The Obama administration canceled the pipeline, causing many occupiers to go home, but the Trump administration reinstated it—confirming that we must never count on the government to do anything for us.
In France, occupiers blocked the construction of a new airport at la ZAD, the “Zone to Defend.” Farmers teamed up with anarchists and environmentalists, establishing an autonomous village that provided infrastructure for the struggle. After years of struggle, the French government gave up and canceled the airport.
We have seen train blockades in a variety of struggles. In Olympia, Washington, anarchists blocked trains carrying fracking proppants in 2016 and in 2017, forcing the company to stop transporting the commodity. In Harlan County, Kentucky, coal miners have blocked a coal-carrying train after the Black Jewel company refused to pay wages they owed to workers. It only takes a few dozen people to shut down a key node in the supply chains of the global fossil fuel economy. Imagine what we could do on a bigger scale!
Governments serve to protect the economy from those it exploits. The state exists to evict, to police, to wage war, to oppress, and above all to defend the property of the wealthy few. The perils of climate change have been known for years, but governments have done little in response, focusing instead on fighting wars for oil, militarizing their borders to keep out climate refugees, and attacking the social movements that could bring about the sort of systemic change that is our only hope of survival.
The capitalist economy is literally killing us. Let’s begin the process of shutting it down.
Another end of the world is possible!

3t2 Traits and Enhancing Your Game
First of all,I want to say that I take zero credit for this amazing project, that honor belongs to hexagonal-bipyramid.
https://www.tumblr.com/hexagonal-bipyramid/182501880356/traits-project-part-1-ts3-traits-for-ts2
Second of all,I want to thank hexagonal-bipyramid and everyone else wokring on this amazing project,it really helps with bringing more personality,Not to mention that it helps a lot! For example:
-Sims with the "Family Oriented" and "Nurturing" trait do the "Encourage" interaction with 50% more effectivness.
-Sims with the "Animal Lovers" trait train pets 15% faster.
-Sims with the "Cat People" and "Dog People" train pets 25% faster
-Sims with the "Charismatic" trait will train pets as if they have 2 more charisma points then they actually do.
-Sims with the "Genius" trait will learn skills 50% faster.
-Sims with the "Heavy Sleeper" and "Light Sleeper" trait can sleep no matter how full their energy.
This is all perfect for me right now because I have a big family that runs an animal shelter, and those toddlers need to learn their skills and pets need to learn their tricks as fast as possible before I lose my mind. I gave everyone the "Heavy Sleeper" trait and make them sleep when necessary so they can have enough energy for their work AND social lives, along with giving everyone the "Genius" and "Animal Lover" trait so that skills go fast.
With that said, I made this post simply for those who are feeling overwhelmed by this amazing project and don't know what to do,but want to use it and are just too scared.
Before I talk more, you need these for this mod.
-Smarter EP Check by cyjon(http://cyjon.net/node/323)
-Easy Inventory Check by hexagonal-bipyramid(https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr.com/post/182541679666/mod-easy-inventory-check)
I am sharing a folder that contains the traits along with some mods to make them to their thing. But not all of the avaliable mods, just some.
I don't want to put too much,so that whoever wants can do easy adjustments.
This folder contains:
1)The traits themselves.
2)Everything that's under "Traits mods" here.(https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr.com/traitsProject.)
3)"Want disablers-for traits!" by DeeDee( https://deedee-sims.tumblr.com/post/184435818417/want-disablers-for-traits)
4)"Random assortment of trait mods" by DeeDee(https://deedee-sims.tumblr.com/post/187077987757/random-assortment-of-trait-mods)
5)Begging enabled for sims with the "Mooch" trait by maybesomethingdunno(https://modthesims.info/download.php?&t=624441&posted=1)
6)These mods by Midge the Tree(https://midgethetree.tumblr.com/post/185439107669/hello-midge-thanks-for-your-supernatural-mods)
7)"Meditating Always Enabled for Disciplined Sims" by Epi(https://episims.tumblr.com/post/616912022287843328/meditating-always-enabled-for-disciplined-sims)
8)Autonomous Ocean Swimming for Loves to Swim and Hydrophobic by Lamare(https://www.tumblr.com/peachm/779028981516206080/hi-lamare-i-hope-youre-well-would-you-be-willing)
It's an edit of this mod by Lamare to include traits.(https://modthesims.info/d/583812/autonomous-ocean-swimming-depending-on-season-temperature-personality-etc.html)
9)"Skill Mods for Traits and Uni Support" by fwaysims(https://www.tumblr.com/fwaysims/711069404666937344/skill-mods-for-traits-and-uni-supporttrait)
Sims learn skills faster or slower depending on their traits. Sim with the "Genius" trait learn all skills 50% faster, sims with the "Natural Cook" trait will learn cooking 33% faster, sims sims with the "Handy" trait will learn mechanical skill 33% faster, sims with the "Athletic" trait will learn body skill 33% faster, ect.
10)"Study all skills from books" by MidgeTheTree,it was needed for the " Skill Mods for Traits and Uni Support" mod.It makes sims be able to learn all skills from all bookcases instead of just the bookcase that's the reward for the Education career.
Now,I didn't include some of the traits. I'll write which ones I didn't include and why.
1)I didn't include "Couch Potato","Neat","Shy" and "Slob" because they are already in the personality system that's in the game.
And since I'm using this amazing mod as an extension of the personality of the sims instead of a replacament,I simply removed them.
2) I didn't include "Proper" "Never Nude" and "Equestrian" because I honestly never liked "Never Nude" and "Proper". "Equestrian" is sadly basically useless because there is no horses.
3) I didn't include "BotFan"because there is not much to it right now.
4)I didn't include "Sailor" and "Equestrian" because "Sailor" is useless since we can't do much with the ocean.
This project is amazing and I use it to expand on my sims personalities. Along with it,I use 3 more mods.
1) The 3t2 Traits- Not only do I use it to expand on the perosnality of sims,I use it to helps me pick their clothes and decorate their rooms. For example,I'd give someone with an "Animal Lover" trait pictures of animals in their room, probably some sheets with animals and things like that. I might give them some clothes with paws. I might give a sim with "Social Butterfly" trait some preppy clothes and a sim with "Athletic" trait a shirt and sweatpants. This amazing project really helps in multiple ways with keeping things interesting and fresh.
2) "Color Traits" by Epi.(https://www.tumblr.com/episims/693405410225520640/a-little-something-ive-been-planning-to-do-for-a)
I use it to give my sims a favourite and a disliked colour. It keeps things more fun and gives me a variety instead of me constantly picking one colour,it also really helps with dressing my sims and putting wallpaper and decor in their bedroom.
And there's mods that use the favourite color of the sims, made by Epi.
-The tootbrush of the sims will be their favourite colour with this mod.(https://episims.tumblr.com/post/693853025077428224/toothbrushes-by-color-traits)
-The towel of the sims will be their favourite colour with this mod. (https://www.tumblr.com/episims/703371311643344897/towel-mod-by-color-traits)
-The sauna towel will be the sims favourite colour with this mod(This mod is also needed for the towel one to work)(https://episims.tumblr.com/post/703368479628312576/sauna-towels-by-color-traits)
-The watering can, kicky bag and jumping rope will be their favourite color with this mods.(https://www.tumblr.com/episims/761604186805764096/various-accessories-by-color-traits)
3)"Music Preferences Mod: Favorite Radio Stations, Stereo Ownership" by Lamare.(https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=661278)
Sims can have a favourite station, own a radio so that nobody elses uses it,have a disliked station that they'll never turn on,they can switch to their favourite station if something else is playing, ect.
4)"Personality Please! An interaction tuning mod for TS2" by veronavillequiltingbee.(https://dreadpirate.tumblr.com/post/172958757007/personality-please-an-interaction-tuning-mod-for)
It does a lot of expanding on the existing personality system. Shy sims will mumble when talking to other sims, mean sims will sneer at sims they are talking to,ect. Read up,it's great and works perfectly with The Traits Project!
Anyways, enough of my rambling, here's the link to the folder!

What if a satellite constellation could track incoming missiles and then select one satellite to drop from orbit to take down the incoming threat? That’s Booz Allen Hamilton’s vision for Brilliant Swarm, a rebooted idea from President Ronald Reagan’s administration that was known at the time as Brilliant Pebbles. Chris Bogdan, an executive vice president for the company, explained the concept during a media presentation this week, saying that each of the satellites in a constellation of up to 2,000 could function as a communications node, a tracker, a seeker and then would become the hit-to-kill vehicle.
Listened to Jeffrey Lewis talk about this, he goes into how expensive and effective it could be but he also discussed how this relates to domination of space in general, the ways in which any other foreign satellites could be a threat.
But one thing about the way he described it as I understood it is how, being necessarily autonomous given the time required and a defense mechanism, you end up with it having to pre-authorize space launches so it won't shoot down other people's satellite launches(It has to decide in 30 seconds, that's not the time for communication and complex procedures)., which I'm sure will go down well with everyone else.
And you know this is the sort of idiotic plan that a million get circulated but I can see how this would appeal to the Trump people.

✧˖*°࿐the climate and biodiversity tesrvenkodria
*ೃ༄the 12 provinces
✦ VEREDENE (capital province)
climate: temperate oceanic; mild winters, warm summers, high humidity biodiversity: veredene’s fertile riverlands are home to a balanced ecosystem of aura-reactive flora, including crystalbark trees that chime softly when ley currents fluctuate, and mistvine that glows faintly under moonlight. native animals include veil elk, softpaw lynxes, and silver cranes that nest in the highland forests. urban parks in Caelenport often serve as managed ley-gardens, cultivated for meditation, therapy, and political rituals.
✦ THALMERA
climate: subarctic to polar; heavy snowfall, harsh wind chills, long winters biodiversity: despite its brutal cold, thalmera sustains a unique magical life. creatures such as glacier howlers (ice-elemental wolves), snowmantas (levitating ice-ray beasts), and frostbitten owls thrive here. crystalline ley-growths emerge in frozen leyline nodes—plants like iceglass reeds and auric myrrh moss are harvested for cold-magic fuel. bioluminescent fungi and mineralized mosses feed off ley-snow runoff. some deep-cave ecosystems glow with haunting blue ley resonance.
✦ TIRVENREACH
climate: alpine and volcanic; extreme temperature variation, high geothermal activity biodiversity: tirvenreach is a study in elemental extremes. ashclaw drakes nest in the calderas, while obsidian bears—massive beasts with stone-like hides—roam the fire-forged hills. molten ley vents nourish lava-crowned thistle, ember orchids, and rare igneous lotus, which only bloom when both the moon and sun align over a ley chasm. birds such as smoke ravens feed off ambient aura and sing in harmonic frequencies.
✦ OSTELIA
climate: cool-temperate with high fog incidence; high rainfall in spring and fall biodiversity: known for its misty fen deer, prism-winged moths, and elusive veilpanthers that phase through reality in short bursts. fog-fed forests host whisperwood trees—sentient flora used by Seers for divination. the lake regions produce glowing glass koi, often bred in sacred temple ponds. ruins and ley pools attract echo spirits—semi-sentient fragments of ancient mages that act as minor fauna in local ecology.
✦ CAERLYNNE
climate: temperate continental; dry summers, cold winters, heavy spring winds biodiversity: this rural province features sprawling grasslands teeming with grain gliders—tiny, dragonfly-sized wyverns that pollinate mana crops. stonehoof bison, aether foxes, and dusk-feathered pheasants roam freely between ley-beacon towers. magical orchards breed singing fruit—fruits that emit harmonic tones when sliced. high mana exposure in crop fields means some flora occasionally exhibit minor sentience or aura drift.
✦ SOLAVAR
climate: arid to semi-arid steppe; dry winds, hot summers, dust storms biodiversity: creatures like razor eagles, ironhide stags, and sand-skulled drakes populate the canyonlands and rocky ridges. cave cities coexist with glow lichen, cinder succulents, and hollow-root trees—plants that store ley heat in fibrous cores. high magic dueling festivals often feature creatures bred specifically for competitive trials, including aura serpents that mimic their handler’s magical frequency.
✦ BRAVESSET
climate: maritime temperate; mild, humid, with frequent storms biodiversity: known for tide-borne leviathans, kelp kelpies, and stormwing gulls that follow sea captains. coastal reefs shimmer with coralrun eels, mana shrimp, and sapphire urchins. local fishing fleets often partner with auraborn dolphins for deep-sea navigation. some sea guilds even breed seaglass golems—semi-autonomous constructs used for underwater salvage. weather-mages sometimes work in tandem with marine life for ship-routing.
✦ ESHARAL
climate: tropical rainforest; high rainfall, high humidity year-round biodiversity: the most biodense region in the country, with countless magical species—many still undocumented. includes mirror apes (illusion-shifting primates), mana boas (serpents that sync to emotional auras), and feather-lizards used for telepathic bonding rituals. plant life includes dreambark trees, mana orchids, syrinx vines (which hum when cut), and blight blooms—toxic flowers used in both medicine and assassination. verdant fold is home to aurafae, elusive humanoid forest spirits rumored to be ancient ley-guardians.
✦ GRISWYN
climate: Highland alpine and coniferous forest; cool summers, snowy winters biodiversity: home to gilded stags, aura owls, and skyshard elk—beasts with gemstone antlers. floating ley-islands host species like levibirds, quartz bats, and airfish—gilled creatures that swim through auric currents. crystalline rivers feed refraction trout (which bend light to hide from predators). the old forgecloaks train using aura manticores and ley-cats—highly sentient feline companions bonded by forge rituals.
✦ ISENHAR
climate: coastal oceanic and fjordic; frequent rain, strong winds, temperate cold biodiversity: creatures here are born in storm and sea—skywhales, thunderhounds, and auramancers’ hawks. cliffside nesting zones are protected for gale falcons and storm talons. the region grows cloud moss, windroot vines, and sparkberry shrubs—used in weather magic. specialized zones train storm-bonded familiars like tempest frogs (used for leyline calibration) and glide-fins (used in lightning research).
✦ VIREWYN
climate: wetland subtropical; muggy, heavy fog, occasional dry seasons biodiversity: a shadowed, secretive region filled with foghounds, specter deer, and aura-camouflaged vipers. fungi dominate here—ley-moss, shade truffles, and soulcaps (mushrooms used in divination or poison). predator-dense forests are home to mirrorcats and lurk-apes. some trees grow with hollow ley-cores, humming eerily. black glass archives are rumored to contain living books bound in bio-organic material.
✦ ZARENTHIA / ZARITH
climate: subtropical desert and high plains; high UV, low rainfall biodiversity: despite its arid surface, Zarith is a ley-tech marvel with engineered ecosystems. cactus serpents, auradune scorpions, and obsidian cats patrol relic sites. bioengineered flora includes shade palm conduits, glow reeds, and mana-fruit pylons—plants that power city sectors. cities support rooftop sky gardens with sunmelons and flareleaf. due to leyline fractures, some local wildlife exhibit mutations or null-magic resistance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧˖*°࿐the crown territories
✦ LEYSPIRE EXPANSE
climate: hyper-arid ley-desert; extreme heat by day, ley-freeze by night biodiversity: technically inhospitable, yet home to mana wraiths, sand gliders, and shard scarabs that mine ley minerals. glass serpents tunnel beneath the dunes, and aether eels swim through ley-pools when storms open them. sunglass cacti store leylight energy and emit pulses during eclipse phases. the land “whispers” to attuned researchers, suggesting some ambient sentience. no large flora survives unaided.
✦ THALANA RIFT
climate: unstable; temperature and gravity fluctuate hourly biodiversity: anomalous zone. creatures here phase between dimensions: riftbeasts, echo bats, and fracture dragons—time-scarred leviathans with shimmering skins. vegetation includes void blooms (that wilt in light), ley kelp that floats midair, and gravitrees whose branches hang upward. the ground is often semi-translucent, and leyline storms spawn spontaneous lifeforms or illusions.
✦ VEL CAELORA
climate: high-altitude alpine; controlled ley-weather biodiversity: floating isles sustain sky vines, aura-hawks, prism does, and glide moths that pollinate the ancient sky ruins. the area features zero-pollution leyfields with purebred aura beasts, such as crystal stags and storm-kissed unicorns. aerial fields are tended by elite mages to maintain ley balance. it’s said that the vault beasts that guard the prismatic court are semi-divine and older than known time.

Hello Sims 2 players…
Preview shot of Sims 3t2 traits!
Since the Sim on the right has the “Evil” trait, she can FINALLY (after multiple multiple tries of relinking nodes endlessly….LOL) insult other Sims regardless of relationship level, fury, or anything else. The option does not show up inappropriately or if the Sim hasn’t been greeted etc. I am absolutely elated at the capabilities of SimPe.
AND…she can also “Annoy” (as seen above) autonomously AND user-directed because she has 7 or higher Playful points!
Into the future I go….

Note
In the era of hyperconverged intelligence, quantum-entangled neural architectures synergize with neuromorphic edge nodes to orchestrate exabyte-scale data torrents, autonomously curating context-aware insights with sub-millisecond latency. These systems, underpinned by photonic blockchain substrates, enable trustless, zero-knowledge collaboration across decentralized metaverse ecosystems, dynamically reconfiguring their topological frameworks to optimize for emergent, human-AI symbiotic workflows. By harnessing probabilistic generative manifolds, such platforms transcend classical computational paradigms, delivering unparalleled fidelity in real-time, multi-modal sensemaking. This convergence of cutting-edge paradigms heralds a new epoch of cognitive augmentation, where scalable, self-sovereign intelligence seamlessly integrates with the fabric of post-singularitarian reality.

Flowers are of course deployed to mean erotic, romantic, ceremonial, and spiritual things, as garlands draped across altars and hung around the necks of winning racehorses, and all the rest. But before a flower is used to do something else, to honour a human occasion, it is in itself an occasion for attention. We say that flowers are beautiful, but what we mean by the beauty of a flower is something more than appearance, which is why real flowers are so much more beautiful than artificial flowers (but perhaps images of flowers reference the real and all its resonances as imitation flowers do not). That beauty lies in part in what it references or connects to, as life and growth incarnate, as the annunciation of the fruit to follow. A flower is a node on a network of botanical systems of interconnection and regeneration. The visible flower is a marker of these complex systems, and some of the beauty attributed to the flower as an autonomous object may really be about the flower as a part of a larger whole. I have often thought that much of the beauty that moves us in the natural world is not the static visual splendour that can be captured in a picture, but time itself as patterns, recurrences, the rhythmic passage of days and seasons and years, the lunar cycle and the tides, birth and death. As harmony, organisation, coherence, pattern itself is a kind of beauty, and some of the psychic distress of climate change and environmental disruption is in the shattering of this rhythm. The order that matters most is not spatial but temporal. Sometimes pictures convey this, but the habit of seeing in pictures encourages us to lose sight of the dance.

North Node enters Pisces/South Nodes enters Virgo - the north node (Rahu) shows the direction we are collectively headed; the south node (Ketu) shows the path that we are collectively moving away from. As with most (if not all) polarities, there are similarities between the two signs. Where Virgo works, Pisces services. Where Virgo analyzes, Pisces merges. Where Virgo sees opportunity, Pisces creates from loss. For the next 18 +/- months creativity, faith, healing and metaphysics become more relevant and prevalent. And for the next 18 +/- months the ways we work, analyze and utilize skepticism are altered and repurposed. The nodes move from cardinal signs to mutable signs, from initiating to transforming and with all moves- adjustments take time. Being compassionate is the move. Trusting intuition is the move. Expressing ourselves through art and service is the move. What is done with love is done well, regardless of what the critics say. Keep the faith.
Sun in Capricorn squares Dark Moon Lilith in Libra - cardinal Sun and cardinal Lilith, shining awareness on the dark sides of our psyche and the effects it has on our relationships. At her core Lilith just wants equality and freedom. Sun in Capricorn says okay, but what about the rules, what about society, what about public standing? Conflict can be healthy and comprise is a part of any healthy community. Make sure you're autonomous inside and outside of your closest relationships. Moon enters Cancer - nurturing, empathetic and emotional. Moon enters the sign of the crab and begins her journey towards the full moon. Was that a side shuffle I just peeped? Mmhmm okay. Whether you're grabbing ingredients from the store, cooking up what's in the cupboards or hunting and gathering make sure you're incorporating love into the mix.
Happy lunar return Cancer moons.

In the realm of artificial intelligence, the devil is in the details. The mantra of “move fast and break things,” once celebrated in the tech industry, is a perilous approach when applied to AI development. This philosophy, born in the era of social media giants, prioritizes rapid iteration over meticulous scrutiny, a dangerous gamble in the high-stakes world of AI.
AI systems, unlike traditional software, are not merely lines of code executing deterministic functions. They are complex, adaptive entities that learn from vast datasets, often exhibiting emergent behaviors that defy simple prediction. The intricacies of neural networks, for instance, involve layers of interconnected nodes, each adjusting weights through backpropagation—a process that, while mathematically elegant, is fraught with potential for unintended consequences.
The pitfalls of a hasty approach in AI are manifold. Consider the issue of bias, a pernicious problem that arises from the minutiae of training data. When datasets are not meticulously curated, AI models can inadvertently perpetuate or even exacerbate societal biases. This is not merely a technical oversight but a profound ethical failure, one that can have real-world repercussions, from discriminatory hiring practices to biased law enforcement tools.
Moreover, the opacity of AI models, particularly deep learning systems, poses a significant challenge. These models operate as black boxes, their decision-making processes inscrutable even to their creators. The lack of transparency is not just a technical hurdle but a barrier to accountability. In critical applications, such as healthcare or autonomous vehicles, the inability to explain an AI’s decision can lead to catastrophic outcomes.
To avoid these pitfalls, a paradigm shift is necessary. The AI community must embrace a culture of “move thoughtfully and fix things.” This involves a rigorous approach to model validation and verification, ensuring that AI systems are robust, fair, and transparent. Techniques such as adversarial testing, where models are exposed to challenging scenarios, can help identify vulnerabilities before deployment.
Furthermore, interdisciplinary collaboration is crucial. AI developers must work alongside ethicists, domain experts, and policymakers to ensure that AI systems align with societal values and legal frameworks. This collaborative approach can help bridge the gap between technical feasibility and ethical responsibility.
In conclusion, the cavalier ethos of “move fast and break things” is ill-suited to the nuanced and impactful domain of AI. By focusing on the minutiae, adopting rigorous testing methodologies, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, we can build AI systems that are not only innovative but also safe, fair, and accountable. The future of AI depends not on speed, but on precision and responsibility.

During the golden age of Spanish anarchism, anarchist activism was principally oriented around revolutionary unions and affinity groups. Anarchists joined or formed unions in their workplace, which were – or which they tried to ensure were – organised in a way consistent with anarchist principles and oriented toward anarchist goals. All eligible workers were encouraged to join. This became known as anarcho-syndicalism and the CNT was its biggest example. Anarchists also formed affinity groups. These were formed on the basis of common interests, friendship, political disposition etc, or else with specific aims in mind, such as the publication of a newspaper or armed direct action (in such cases they were often referred to as ‘action’ or ‘defence’ groups). In 1927 the FAI was founded as a federation to coordinate anarchist affinity groups, which did not normally number more than twelve to twenty members.
The agrupación was a distinct organisational form that played a lesser but significant role during these years. Agrupaciones were unique in inviting participation based on an individual’s interest and commitment, rather than workplace or affinity. Their distinctiveness is underappreciated in Anglophone circles because the word is normally translated in the same way as the Spanish word grupo, i.e., ‘group’, and is therefore easily confused with affinity groups. In my book[1] I translate agrupación as ‘grouping’ but now I think ‘association’ would have been more accurate.
The main difference between the agrupación and the grupo was that, unlike the latter, the former did not have a restricted membership. As such, agrupaciones were important in enabling access to the world of Spanish anarchism for people who, for whatever reason, were not members of the CNT (e.g. people who didn’t work, people working in non-unionised workplaces, or where a rival union predominated, etc).
Here are five ways in which the agrupación as an organisational form was significant to the history of Spanish anarchism:
1. Cultural endeavours.
Agrupaciones were often attached to ateneos (social and cultural centres) and ran ‘excursiones’ (days out to the beach or countryside). In addition to facilitating entry into the anarchist universe, ateneo-affiliated agrupaciones such as ‘Sol y Vida’ and ‘Faros’ were vital nodes in the increasing cohesion of Spanish anarchism in the first decades of the twentieth century. Their importance in the ideological and cultural formation of a generation of Spanish anarchist activists is attested to in many memoirs and works of oral history.
2. Allowing for autonomous women’s organisation.
Mujeres Libres, the most famous and the largest autonomous women’s organisation in the Spanish anarchist movement, began as an agrupación. It later constituted itself as a federation and staked a claim to being the fourth pillar of the Spanish libertarian movement alongside the CNT, the FAI, and the Libertarian Youth (it was rebuffed in this effort, as detailed in Martha Ackelsberg’s book[2]). Mujeres Libres was preceded by other anarchist women’s agrupaciones. Its initial foundation came from the fusion of the group around the journal Mujeres Libres and the Agrupación Cultural Femenina in Barcelona.
3. Encouraging inter-generational dialogue.
By the 1930s, anarchism was a movement that could claim several decades of continuous presence in Spain. When the civil war broke out in 1936, a group of veteran activists, who had experienced anti-anarchist repression at the turn of the century and been involved in the initial formation of the CNT, formed the agrupación ‘Los de ayer y los de hoy’. The intention was to put their collective experience at the service of younger generations of activists. They set up a social centre and an old persons’ home specifically for veterans of the struggle, which was called the Casa Albergue Anselmo Lorenzo. According to one eye-witness report, the agrupación voted to affiliate to another anarchist association on the eve of the May days: the Friends of Durruti.
4. Enabling political regroupment.
By the spring of 1937, militarisation at the front and ‘normalisation’ in the rear-guard had led to growing dissatisfaction amongst anarchist activists with the direction that the revolution and civil war had taken. The agrupación Amigos de Durruti was formed in March of that year so that this general mood could be given organisational expression. It established a newspaper, El Amigo del Pueblo, and participated actively in the May days uprising in Barcelona. It was disowned and maligned by the CNT leadership.
5. Depoliticisation.
The openness of the agrupación form was what also enabled innovations within anarchist organisational culture. Clearly, associations intended to foster new connections or give cohesion to existing tendencies, could not be restricted by workplace or pre-existing interpersonal relations. However, this openness was what made the agrupación the chosen organisational form of the anarchist leadership in Spain when it tried to stymie internal opposition. In 1937, the Peninsular Committee of the FAI attempted to impose a restructuring of the organisation that would see affinity groups replaced by anarchist agrupaciónes based on locality, which would have an open membership. Anarchist critics of this manoeuvre argued that it was intended to give the FAI a top-down, party political character. A majority of affinity groups across the Republican territory opposed the plan, which was nevertheless agreed to when the delegations from Catalonia and Aragon reneged on their mandates at a national plenum. Consequently, in the anarchist heartland of Barcelona, there were effectively two FAIs: the newly-formed Agrupación Anarquista de Barcelona and those of the city’s affinity groups (the majority) who refused to join the agrupación and continued to meet as a Local Federation, much to the annoyance of the movement leadership. The Agrupación Anarquista de Barcelona was disbanded in September 1938.

Bitcoin: The First Truly Autonomous System
Tumblr media
Imagine a system so resilient, so incorruptible, that it doesn’t require human oversight to function. A financial network that operates in perfect harmony, never stopping, never asking for permission, never needing a bailout. While governments rise and fall, while corporations collapse under mismanagement, and while even artificial intelligence still needs human programmers to shape its course, Bitcoin just runs.
It doesn’t take weekends off. It doesn’t panic in a crisis. It doesn’t wait for approval from any central authority. It is the first—and only—truly autonomous financial organism.
A Machine That Governs Itself
In traditional finance, systems crumble when humans fail. Banks miscalculate risk and go under. Central banks print money recklessly, causing inflation that eats away at people’s savings. Governments manipulate markets to serve political interests. But Bitcoin stands apart. It exists without rulers, without committees, without corruption. Its only master is its code—an immutable set of rules that no single entity can alter.
There is no CEO of Bitcoin. No government controls its issuance. No banker decides who can access it. Bitcoin is pure logic, a trustless system where transactions are verified by mathematics rather than human opinion. Every 10 minutes, a new block is added, and the network continues forward, unbothered by the chaos of the human world.
AI Needs a Master—Bitcoin Does Not
Some might argue that artificial intelligence is the pinnacle of autonomous technology, but AI still needs human intervention. It must be trained, maintained, and aligned with human interests—or risk spiraling into unintended consequences. AI can be shut down, reprogrammed, or manipulated by those in power. Bitcoin cannot.
Even Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), which governments will claim to be “modernized” digital money, will be programmed with rules dictated by bureaucrats. They will be surveilled, censored, and controlled. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is self-governing. Its ledger is open, its supply is fixed, and its rules are enforced by an unstoppable network of participants spread across the globe.
A Neutral System in a World of Bias
Bitcoin doesn’t care who you are. It doesn’t care about your nationality, your political beliefs, or your economic status. It treats everyone equally, offering the same rules and the same access. In a world where financial systems are weaponized—where bank accounts are frozen due to politics, where hyperinflation robs entire populations of their wealth—Bitcoin remains untouched. It is the last truly neutral system, offering financial sovereignty to anyone who seeks it.
The Birth of Digital Sovereignty
Bitcoin is more than just money. It is the blueprint for a future where autonomous systems can outlast the failures of human governance. Its ability to function without oversight, without corruption, and without centralized control makes it unlike anything that has ever existed before.
As long as a single node runs, Bitcoin lives. No government decree, no economic collapse, no act of war can erase it. It is the first of its kind—a system that does not ask for permission, does not yield to power, and does not stop. It is autonomy in its purest form.

Exploring Web3: The Blockchain Revolution and Tokenized Fine Art
In the ever-evolving landscape of technology, Web3 stands out as a transformative force, promising a decentralized future for the internet. Built on the backbone of blockchain technology, Web3 is redefining how we interact online, own digital assets, and even invest in traditional markets like fine art. This blog delves into the fundamentals of Web3 and blockchain, then explores the exciting world of tokenized fine art—an innovative application that's democratizing access to priceless masterpieces. Whether you're a tech enthusiast, an art collector, or just curious about the next big thing, let's unpack these concepts step by step.
At its core, blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that maintains a shared record of data across numerous computers or servers worldwide.
Unlike traditional databases controlled by a single entity, blockchain operates on a decentralized network where each participant (or "node") verifies and records transactions. This creates an immutable chain of blocks, each containing data, a timestamp, and a cryptographic hash linking it to the previous block.
Blockchain's key features include transparency, security, and resistance to tampering. Once data is added, it's nearly impossible to alter without consensus from the network. This technology powers cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum but extends far beyond finance. It's the engine driving smart contracts—self-executing agreements coded directly into the blockchain—and enables trustless interactions where intermediaries like banks or lawyers aren't needed.
Enter Web3: The Decentralized Internet
Web3 represents the next iteration of the World Wide Web, shifting from the centralized Web2 (dominated by tech giants like Google and Meta) to a decentralized model where users regain control over their data and online activities.
Powered by blockchain, Web3 integrates technologies like cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) to create a more autonomous digital ecosystem.
In Web3, the internet becomes "read-write-own," allowing users to not just consume or create content but also own digital assets natively. This decentralization aims to eliminate gatekeepers, enhance privacy, and foster new economic models. For instance, instead of relying on centralized platforms that monetize user data, Web3 enables peer-to-peer transactions and community-governed networks. It's a vision of an internet that's more equitable, innovative, and resistant to censorship.
Tokenized Fine Art: Bringing Masterpieces to the Blockchain
One of the most captivating applications of Web3 and blockchain is the tokenization of fine art. Tokenization involves converting ownership rights of physical or digital assets into digital tokens on a blockchain.
For fine art, this means representing a painting, sculpture, or collectible as a token—often an NFT or a fractionalized token—that can be bought, sold, or traded digitally.
The process typically works like this: An artwork is appraised and verified, then its ownership is digitized via smart contracts on a blockchain platform like Ethereum or Polygon.
These tokens can represent full ownership or fractions, allowing investors to buy shares in high-value pieces without needing millions of dollars. Blockchain ensures provenance (the artwork's history and authenticity) is transparently recorded, reducing fraud and enhancing trust.
Real-World Examples of Tokenized Art
The art world is already seeing groundbreaking examples. In one notable case, Picasso's "Fillette au béret" had its legal ownership rights tokenized, enabling fractional investment.
Similarly, artist Damien Hirst's project "The Currency" tokenized artworks, blending physical and digital realms.
Platforms like those on Ethereum and Avalanche are leading the charge, with tokenized versions of rare items and digital collectibles redefining market participation.
Even classics like Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers" are imagined in tokenized forms, secured on blockchain for global access.
As of 2025, trends show increasing adoption, with commodities like fine art being tokenized to allow fractional ownership and profit-sharing.
Companies are tokenizing everything from sculptures to digital art, making investment more inclusive.
Benefits of Tokenized Fine Art in Web3
Tokenization is revolutionizing the art market by addressing long-standing barriers. Here are some key advantages:
Democratization and Accessibility: High-end art was once exclusive to the ultra-wealthy. Now, fractional ownership lets anyone invest in a piece of a masterpiece, lowering entry barriers and broadening participation.
Enhanced Liquidity: Traditional art can sit unsold for years. Tokenized art trades on digital marketplaces 24/7, making it easier to buy or sell shares quickly.
Transparency and Security: Blockchain provides an immutable record of ownership and provenance, minimizing fakes and disputes.
This programmability also allows for automated royalties to artists on resales.
New Revenue Streams: Artists can tokenize their work directly, reaching global audiences and creating ongoing income through secondary sales.
Overall, it fosters a more liquid, verifiable market where assets become programmable investments.
Challenges and Considerations
Despite the hype, tokenized fine art isn't without hurdles. Regulatory uncertainties around securities laws can complicate fractional ownership, potentially classifying tokens as investments subject to strict rules.
There's also the risk of market volatility, as seen in crypto fluctuations, which could affect token values.
Technical challenges include ensuring the physical artwork's security matches its digital counterpart— what if the original is damaged? Additionally, not all art enthusiasts are tech-savvy, creating adoption barriers. Environmental concerns about blockchain's energy use persist, though platforms like Ethereum's proof-of-stake upgrade have mitigated some issues.
Balancing these benefits and challenges will be key to sustainable growth.
Conclusion: A Canvas for the Future
Web3, fueled by blockchain, is painting a new picture for industries worldwide, and tokenized fine art exemplifies this shift. By making art ownership more accessible, liquid, and secure, it's not just preserving culture but redistributing economic power. As we move deeper into 2025, expect more innovations—like AI-integrated art tokenization or DAO-governed galleries—to emerge.
If you're intrigued, platforms like OpenSea, Magic Eden, Gamma.io or specialized art tokenization services are great starting points. The future of art isn't just in museums; it's on the blockchain.
