PART 1 part 2!!! this took much more thinking than the previous one but i hope it turned out just as engaging :) i'll likely make another post with more details also big thanks to al-pomegranate-seeds for the ideas you sent me earlier, it really helped! the descriptions are below 🔽

GRUNT = DREAMER Professor Buzz Grunt is a respected researcher in his field, as well as an aspiring history novel author. However, after the unfortunate fire accident and the loss of his wife it became harder to provide proper education to his sons. Can his golden child Tank prove his worth to this demanding dad? Is he really ready to make a commitment to the new Specter heiress for the sake of the family?

SMITH = PLEASANT

Jenny always knew that there will be difficulties with cross-cultural relationships, but between juggling family and career problems, her way too secretive husband is just too much to keep track of. What is he hiding? Will Johnny be able to fit in and reconcile with his little sister? SPECTER = GOTH

When the head of Specter Industries was about to retire and pass the business to her son, he disappeared without a trace. Is there a possibility that this is the doing of someone with eyes set on her fortune? Can Olive really entrust the inheritance to her niece Ophelia?

CURIOUS = BROKE

Economy is tough and passion for science is expensive, so the Curious brothers have to share the living space to get by. After the birth of Tycho things have become especially challenging. While Lazlo is invested in dubious hacking activity, and with Vidcund eager to fund another one of his “secret science projects”, can Pascal cope with his new role as a cosmic parent? And what about the rumor that the Specter heir was last seen scaling the deck of their house?

SINGLES = CALIENTE

Lola and Chloe arrived to Pleasantown to reconnect with their roots, or so they claim. Have they really been missing the fatherly affection, or do they have ulterior, fiscal motives?

LOSTE = LOTHARIO

Kristen doesn’t particularly care for Pleasantown, but she has to admit that people here are quite the attraction. She is committed to her dream of becoming a world famous sports champion. Is her commitment to Erin Beaker just as genuine?

BEAKER = BURB

After graduating from college, Erin moved in with her brother and his wife while she’s trying to adjust to adult life. While Loki is being hospitable, Circe is growing tired of tarot readings and psychic seances. Can Erin’s newfound love help out before Circe turns her into a makeup testing animal?

my take on the strangetown premades!

this took a lot longer than expected + some of these guys look a little more rough than desired but I'm pretty happy anyways!

keep in mind that these are *my* interpretations of the characters that i've curated over the many years ive been fixated on this game :,-)

some design notes below the cut since i put an ungodly amount of effort into the thought procress (its a lot of text, warning you now) ⬇️

- following the ts3 + ts2 genetics, my curious-smith family are darker skinned with less racially ambiguous features, fuller lips, larger noses, etc. (although not every person of that ethnicity is the same of course! these were purely observational looking at their family line). they are afro mestizo in my headcanon, with glarn being afro latino & kitty being mestizo.

- vidcund still has his mullet thing going on but it is a loc mullet!

- my curiouses are generally chubby. i don't have any exact reason for this. i know a lot of people headcanon pascal as being chubby but i think it could be cool if they all were. it also adds visual interest with different body types.

- erin & loki are scandinavian (like me!) so they're already very pale but i wanted to excaberbate that even further by making them albino. this isn't an accurate depiction of albinism as in real life, people with that condition often have health issues alongside that. (if i were to give that any thought, i like to think that loki initially became interested in inventing to benefit his own health issues but then his ambition took him down a darker, more mad sciencetist path). for erin as well, i just think it's cute considering her whole psychic thing, lookin a bit fairy-like + contrasts nicely with her pink colour scheme.

- nervous is darker skinned, exactly the same as his ma since grim doesn't have dna really. (some people have their own school of thought regarding why nerv being super pale, but this is my own). he has burn scars as electrocution causes scarring on skin + organ tissue, which he has gone through, a lot. he has various stitches, scars, and vitiligo marks across his face and body. the vitiligo on his face looks like a skull. this was originally going to be on the left side of his face, where theres no burns, but i figured it made symbolic sense + was a lot less cluttered if the burns covered up the skull vitiligo markings on his face.

- johnny, ripp, tank all have acne / acne scars - typical of teenagers.

- chloe + lola are of different skintones for storytelling purposes. in my little world, chloe and lola are very deeply close but also very affected by the abscence of their dad (him abandoning them), and being the only aliens they really knew of - basically being raised in isolation for most of their life. This is your typical cain & abel tale. Lola always felt inferior compared to Chloe, who had personality and charisma. She was always jealous of that, feeling like she’s always the awkward one + always will be in her sister’s shadow because of this. She tries her best to compensate for this through pouring herself into her work, in hopes that when she gets money, she’ll finally be accepted. This extends into their assimilation to humanness as well. Chloe is able to assimilate better whereas Lola feels like she cannot.

- Ripp is very different to canon.. I don't have a lot of an explanation for this but I just wanted to give him scene hair (also longer hair because I headcanon her as being a trans girl, but a very closeted one so she's in that awkward phase of growing out her hair but pretending like it's just shaggy + pulls it back into a low ponytail). The cleft lip is a bit of projection on my part, as I had a cleft palate when I was younger. Characters that I like will recieve some kind of disability that I have, for Nervous it's deafness + debilitating leg pain, for Ripp its this. I think it's also interesting narrative wise to compare how Buzz & the Beakers both handle disability. Buzz is a very 'tough it out' & 'you're just being sensitive' type whereas the Beakers uhh caused it, with their experimentation.

- I'm gonna be real, I hate Jill's design. It tells me nothing about her personality wise + I'm bummed out how human she looks. We need more weird little girl designs! Tried to find a middle ground.

- Buck has brown eyes like the corrupted version of Lyla. I chose to make him look like a carbon copy of Lyla (relatively speaking) for irony purposes. He has the least memories of her and yet looks exactly like her.

- Kristen is intended to look more like a typical masc lesbian because I am soo indulgent towards making the singles household just like a crazy lesbian situationship household (minus the curious sisters with eachother - of course).

Pascal: You're probably gay, trans, or both. Probably a Nervscal shipper as well. You're responsible for the amazing art within the fandom, which makes up for your surface level, black-and-white interpretations of every character and the fact that you reduce Pascal to either a boyfriend/husband or an alien incubator

Vidcund: You're either a CallMeKevin fan, an irony-poisoned individual, or have him on your hear-me-out list. You probably also projected onto him to some extent, whether it's being an introvert or being on the asexual/autism spectrum. You also have a very mixed relationship with the PSP game and you want Dominic Newlow's head on a stick

Lazlo: Either a chill person who ships Cryzlo or a Crystal hater who secretly wants to date Lazlo and projects onto the person that they're shipping him with. If you fall into the first category you have amazing taste and you should be proud of yourself. There's a possible chance that you might be bisexual/pansexual

Tycho: Pascal fans but instead of creativity you have objectively incorrect opinions. You probably haven't played the PSP game and just got all of your info from the wiki or someone else who only got their info from the wiki talking about it. This is like saying your favorite Pleasantview character is Unborn Baby Broke. If you wanted green with no personality, pick a Smith at random instead

Pollination Technician 9: You like aliens and have him on a hear-me-out list. Also you're probably some variant of gay/bi even though he and his family give off very stereotypically straight sitcom family vibes

Jenny Smith: You are in desperate need of a hug or at least someone to vent about your problems to. She either reminds you of your mother or she's the mother that you wish you had. I'm going to also assume that you're either straight or have very basic taste in women. At least she's a healthy choice

Johnny Smith: You're a JRO or TankJohnny shipper, and the reason why it's almost impossible to search up certain sims for reference photos without seeing ship art of said sim with another character

Jill Smith: Not sure if I've ever seen a Jill Smith fan but you're probably pretty chill, minding your own business and enjoying the weird snippets of Jill's character that we got from the PSP game. You probably also like Buck

General Buzz Grunt: I'm so sorry for what you have to deal with. You all seem chill but I know damn well it probably gets annoying seeing your fave get slandered repeatedly over popular headcanons that get interpreted as canon. Congrats on still hanging in there

Tank Grunt: Golden child with anger issues and therapy who's possibly closeted to some extent. You also have a very conflicting relationship with your parents and people misunderstanding you

Ripp Grunt: You're probably not straight, dabbled in alternative culture but coudln't afford to actually give yourself an alternative look, and you probably played the other neighborhoods before

Buck Grunt: You pity him for being constantly overlooked and the fact that the Bus Driver won over him in that one poll. You probably also like Jill, even if you don't necessarily ship them

Olive Specter: You think she's iconic/a girlboss and probably wish you could be six feet under her garden as well, not in a suicidal kind of way but in a "I'd be happy if she was the one who took me out" kind of way. The Life and Death pack was very important to you, and you think about Ichabod more than the average person

Ophelia Nigmos: You pick your favorites off of personality and lore rather than on how fun they are to play. You don't need to tell me that she's actually the best character because "she's an alternative teenage girl with anxiety who lives with her serial killer aunt and twenty one ghosts" or that she has a tragic backstory

Loki Beaker: You love the "hate everyone but her" type characters and people who would sacrifice the world to save the one they love over sacrificing the one they love to save the world. You're probably also a fan of malewives and make jokes about his eyebrows

Circe Beaker: You love girlbosses, you hate Dominic Newlow and want his head on a stick more than the Vidcund fans, and you probably have a very mixed perception of Vidcund. You probably also enjoy a good masculine woman/feminine man dynamic.

Nervous Subject: A fusion of the Pascal fans and the Olive fans. You were super happy seeing the Life and Death version of Nervous but got super pissed when you found out that they named him Nyon. You pick and choose which parts of the lore to care about and consume angst for every meal

Atom/Ceres: You're here from the Sims 3 and a stickler for canon. Also unrelated but Atom is a really bad name for a child, dunno why they couldn't name Atom after another Roman god like with Ceres. They even double as planet names which makes even more sense for knowledge sim Loki, like come on

Ajay Loner: You love how little there is to him because you can literally just make him whatever you want and it technically still works because the lore never said that he wasn't

Chloe Curious: You love chaos and drama, and you're either some variant of queer or the type who wants a gay best friend

Lola, Erin or Kristen: Girl's girl, possibly sapphic. You're also more into career/drama-based gameplay than family gameplay, and you're probably not the biggest fan of Lola/Ajay

Crystal: Lazlo fan and probably really chill considering you had to put up with the really bad interpretations of her that either reduced her to either nothing more than Lazlo's girlfriend or made her super toxic so he could either break up with or "fix" her. Part two of my drivers/junior drivers of a team having things in common series:

Red Bull/Racing bulls

Family picture!! Now, to be a red bull (junior) driver you must be one of two things; either you must have blonde hair or dark hair. (I know this just sounds really basic but trust me on this one)

Group 1: the blondes

From top to bottom, left to right: Max Verstappen, Tim Tramnitz (F3), Sebastian Vettel, the twins Oliver Goethe (F2) and Liam Lawson, Emely de Heus (F1academy 2024), Chloe Chambers (F1academy 2025), and Pierre Gasly.

Commonly paired with a dark-haired counterpart as their teammate, and always serving cunt these are the blonde red bull drivers. I cannot be the only one who noticed that Tim and Liam look like they could be family, right? Even matching backwards hat is giving brothers.

Two of these blondes are both Dutch icons (I might be a bit biased🧡🌊🇳🇱🦁🚲💪) always honest, slaying and staying unbothered . If you weren’t aware I’m of course talking about Max and Emely.

Idk if Chloe and Emely’s hair is naturally blonde or not but idc🤷‍♀️

Group 2: the dark-haired

From top to bottom, left to right: Pepe Martí and Isack Hadjar (F2 2024), Arvid Lindblad (F3 2024), Mark Webber, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, Nikola Tsolov (F3), Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, Hamda and Amna Al Quibaisi (F1academy 2024).

These dark-haired icons are lightly brushed by melancholy, have a big bomboclatt and are usually drawn to a cunty blonde by an unknown force. It’s so iconic that one pairing in the foto are literal family, and that an other driver on this fotogrid looks like he could be their sibling imo; I’m obviously talking about the Al Quibaisi sisters and Arvid.

These baddies have a rep of getting the short end of the stick, some say this is because they are not blonde and white, I’ll leave that up to you to decide for yourselves.

Rosalind telling Orions father shit was one of my favourite moments like HE JOINED A FACTION RIVALING HIS BROTHERS TO HELP YOU.

I love how none of them have healthy parental relationships i feel so seen.

Celia and Alisas sisterly relationship is the best thing ever.

I love how when Rosalind spotted Alisa at Seagreen there was an immediate understanding of trust.

Phoebe being Priest was foreshadowed throughout foul lady fortune and I feel so dumb for not seeing it (I could go into this)

Phoebe Hong I have never felt more seen by a character.

Orion and Rosalind have left me pacing my room, screaming acting like a complete maniac throughout the dualogy and they will never not occupy my mind.

Chloe gong is probably one of the best authors whose work I've read she's so good at foreshadowing and weaving plot twists I could ramble on and on.

The atmosphere of the duologies is so perfect, she captures the bustling city, political climate and society of the place at the time PEFECTLY.

I don't think I'll ever get over the secret shanghai universe it'll forever have a special place in my heart. I've loved this book series and these characters since I was like 14 and i BEG FOR A SPECIAL EDITION TO BE RELEASED IN SOUTH AFRICA OMF

The bachelor party footage is one of the funniest scenes in Smallville. Drunk Clark is the best thing ever!

Clark setting things on fire with his eyes because Lois is cold. Clark calling Lois the love of his life. "I am really feeling this." Oliver and Tess doing Clark impressions 💀 "Are you really made of steel??" Oliver and Clark arguing about wedding rings in the bathroom - well, Oliver was the only one arguing, Clark was there for the vibes. Clark stealing the whole Luthorcorp sign 🤣 Lois dragging him back to his seat because he is sooo embarrassed of his drunk antics. "MonKeyyy." "MoNkEeY?" And then he steals a truck, fights crime and adopts a Lemur. Tess and Emil porn 🙈

The whole scene reminded me of Carter/Hawkman telling Chloe that Watchtower needed to be more than a workplace for superheroes. It needed to be a place they can be a family together and have fun. And now it is.
