♡ ofc nothing makes me feel super refreshed like a shower. i've talked about this in my other posts but showering is like a reset button and you will always feel better after taking one

♡ using baby powder, especially in the hotter months

ok i am in LOVE with the way baby powder smells and i've been obsessed with using it this summer. it rly helps during the hotter months when u sweat and i highly recommend…💬🎀

♡ a tall glass of water with LOTS of ice (bonus points if u add a lemon wedge)

♡ scents with notes of coconut, baby powder, vanilla, and white floral

♡ a cold sheet mask

i say a cold sheet mask because when the sheet mask is room temperature, its still refreshing but if u leave it in the fridge for a couple of minutes before u put it on it makes a WORLD of a difference i swear…💬🎀

♡ getting off of my phone and doing literally ANYTHING else

How to: fresh start.

Hi babes! Hope you're all having a great day. Now, I want to share with you tips that will help you FEEL that fresh start of the new year.

Digital cleanse. Cleanse your phone, delete unwanted pictures, screenshots, videos, documents, games, apps ESPECIALLY shopping apps. Why so? Well, let me tell you. You don't need your phone constantly buzzing with sales on stuff you already have or don't need. Those apps convince you that you need this and that when, in reality, you don't. You'll just end up wasting time and money.

Physical cleanse. You might be wondering what that is. For me, physical cleansing is simply taking a shower (could be a simple shower or an everything shower) and drinking green tea. Green tea helps with digestion, cleanses your stomach, and even boosts your brain health. You can drink whatever drink that is actually beneficial (ginger shots, lemon water, mint tea, etc).

Wardrobe. Declutter your wardrobe. You can donate some, resell some or even reuse (to clean, for example). Clothes are fabrics and fabrics are meant to have more than one use. Just get rid of clothes that you don't wear anymore or that don't fit you (size, style..)

Unsubscribe and unfollow. YouTube, tiktok, instagram.. just unfollow. You've grown out of phases, embrace that and unfollow people that resonate with the old you (who you love, but simply don't relate to anymore).

Rearrange. For me that's for my gallery, pinterest, and spotify. For my gallery, after I delete unwanted pictures, I create new folders for the ones I kept. For pinterest, I archive my old boards ('24 vision boards), create new ones, and update old vision boards. For spotify, I delete playlists I don't listen to anymore, unfollow artists and create new playlists.

Notion! I've been a notion user and lover for the past 5 years now and it's my planner, diary, journal and literally everything. Open a blank page and build it however you like, or choose a nice template and play around with it till satisfaction. Create a "reflection" section where you write about the past year and what you loved, hated, learned, etc.

Write down who you want to become. What is she doing, what does she love, what does she look like, what's her personality like, how she spends her day, what are her hobbies, what are her ambitions, etc. And may your visualization come true.

what if during lawmelis cancer treatment process it got really bad and let aldo keep his original golden pectoral cross. aldo holds onto it until thomas gets better but thomas lets him keep it after he recovers bc he plans to have a new one made. probably had a new view of his faith after that cancer scare so he wants to have a new cross made to reflect that

aldo has no use for two crosses so he then proceeds to have his pectoral cross modified. repurposes thomas' old one and turns it into the golden pelican of his pectoral cross so that he may carry a piece of him everywhere right near his heart...

A new diagnosis, self help, and ritual cleansing

Recently organized and ritually cleansed bookshelves.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Which was a huge eye opener for me. A lot of behaviors which I had for years negatively labeled, and not really understood, really affected my self esteem.

Realizing that my brain isn’t neurotypical and researching ways to adapt my focus, and just basically help myself function like everyone else, has been resulting in some big changes over the last couple of weeks.

One of the biggest helpers for me has been utilizing a “to do” app and calendar. I’ve programmed it to remind me throughout the day to do very basic tasks (it’s really embarrassing how basic some of these tasks are) and do things like text my mom and sister once a day, so a month doesn’t go by when they haven’t heard from me and start to assume I’m spiraling again. One of the worse things about ADHD has been the toll it has taken on my personal relationships because of the lack of appropriate prioritization on my part.

Which leads into what any of that has to do with this blog. 😊

With the end of my February Holy Week I’ve been going into a big ritual/folk magic cleansing of the household (which in itself will be spiritual cleansing of my psyche) leading into my devotional new year at the spring equinox.

During this time period I plan on researching and utilizing traditional folk cleansing rituals. So far I’ve sprinkled a lot of hátová salt and water.

Organized sewing boxes

If you saw my post last week about organizing my sewing boxes you might recognize the beginning of this project. I cannot and will not put up “before” pictures (I have carefully curated my blog photos over the years to not show physical evidence of the disaster that is my life).

Organized makeup, cleansers and creams, and jewelry.

Earlier this week I started with the bathroom, the smallest room in the house, untangling messes in drawers, jewelry boxes and cabinets. Yesterday I continued with the bookshelf in my bedroom. I discarded books that hadn’t been touched in years and whittled my collection down to what I consider necessary reference material for my folk practice. I interspersed baskets which will hold seasonal altar items.

I’m really excited about this massive ritual and feeling the most positive I have in over a year. Part of my hope with this cleansing ritual is that it will kickstart other necessary changes in my life.
