My first of the permanent store line up arrived and when I tell you I got emotional, I mean I bawled.

This shell is for an OC incredibly dear to me, definitely top 5 of my RP cadre. Unfortunately the world/story/group he's from is gone and it leaves his name a back story a little muddy.

It's the year of the dragon and I'm over the stars to have my dragon prince shelled and home with me.

With luck, tomorrow I'll have myself back together enough to assemble TK entirely for proper introduction.

Honestly, I love it when characters relapse. When someone who’s gotten over their anger issues falls into a situation so out of their depth they fall back on their old habits. When someone who’s learned to open up becomes a recluse again in order to cope with something outside their control.

There’s just something so horrible, so toxic, about watching a character grow and then slip back into their old selves in order to cope, bc you know they still care, that they’re the same inside, but watching them hurt so hard they don’t know what else to do brings a sense of catharsis.

AuDHD is so funny sometimes like what do you mean my hyperfixations/special interests will last for years on end or possibly forever but they will cycle out every month or two with absolutely no transitional period or warning. like i will think about the same topic every day obsessively for 46 days in a row and on the 47th day with no visible cause adhd brain goes "ok! bored of that now" and autism brain goes "dw i got something queued up for ya" and i blast into full blown obsession on some other topic whose mental file folders haven't opened in 9 months. brain's out here treating hyperfixations like a crop rotation. once the dopamine runs out it cycles in another one but once something's in the rotation it never ever leaves. last summer we brought in one from when i was 11. it's so funny to me but frustrating too bc like. i cannot stress enough my inability to predict or control this. or how completely abrupt and random it can be

EDIT: seems this is more common among ND people than i thought, and probably not limited to AuDHD specifically :] i was just describing my own experiences and i'm not an authority, but i'm glad i'm not alone in this<3

Love the idea of the Batfamily showing a serious, united front whenever they’re working with the Justice League (i.e., obeying Bruce’s orders without question or defaulting to Dick’s authority, following Bruce’s comm protocol, upholding expected field etiquette, coordinating with one another with terrifying efficiency, and generally just not fucking around), but then the minute they get back to the Cave they immediately start to throw hands over who gets to use the PS5.

I cannot, for the life of me, find an old mermaid artwork that I like except for this one.

For context, that old piece was my way of bribing a senpai to write Arthur Morgan x Mermaid! Reader. But since this mermay was all about Thalie, drawing her w Arthur Morgan seemed wrong. So I drew her saving Ominis instead 🤣

Sidenote: during my HL replay 2months ago, I turned my MC into Thalie. I have a whole story and sketchbook spread about that, might post them anon!
