Shyla's eyebrows raised as she leaned forward to look at the friend in question. "That one?" she asked, gesturing with her half -full cup. "So, you're wing-womaning them right now, I take it. Sing me their praises and I'll consider it," she said with a little giggle, honestly very amused and rather intrigued with this whole situation.

𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑 [ ... ] @feykaplan .
“There’s an opening for one of my hip-hop classes,” Bianca began, a sly grin slowly creeping up on her face as she stood across from her friend. “And before you say anything, I feel like you’d have such a great time .. and honestly, I think it would be good for you.” With everything going on around them—the deaths of Dante and Sawyer looming over her head—dancing seemed like the only escape from reality that she could offer. Even if it were only a single hour out of the whole day. “I can get you signed up right now before all the spots are taken.”

"and diamonds are my specialty but i'm working on getting a reliable connection for other stones as well."

Ren smiles a little when Fey says Azra can handle herself, nodding at her in agreement. She is one of the boldest and strongest people he knows. Her directness had shocked him at first, not used to someone being so forward with what they need and with their interest, but he quickly grew to like that about her. "She is amazing." Fey's questions makes him pause, clearing his throat at the directness of it. Fey is another bold person he knows. It's not surprising at all they're best friends. He didn't mind if this entire chat was going to get back to Azra; however, if there was anything she wanted to know, he'd rather she ask him. How does he even answer this? "It's just her," he answers. "I'm not with anyone else." Because even though they agreed on something casual and open, Ren isn't interested in anyone else, nor is he the type to sleep around. He coughs at her next question. "—You're asking the deep stuff." What did Azra tell her? "Um." He pauses, rubbing the nape of his neck. "We both agreed to keep things... as they are right now. I mean, I like her a lot." He clears his throat. How does he explain to her what's going inside of his head? That he's been going through so much? "I don't know if she wants more than what we are right now." Even though the signs have pointed to a yes, Ren's a bit slow and daft when it comes to matters like this. How he sees it, Azra agreed to things and didn't outright express wanting something official and serious. "But also... um, I don't know if I'd be what she wants or needs and I want to be that."
"Valid," Fey immediately agreed. She loved spending time with Azra too. Ren's next words made a smirk form on her lips, just because they sounded so soft, especially because she understands a lot of people look at Azra's presence similarly to how they look at her own. Abrasive. Strong. Sometimes too much but it really isn't their fault majority of the townspeople can't handle a secure woman's personality. Opinions were always valid until people start to not agree with them. "Nah, I'm not worried about that. She can handle herself and you're smart enough to know hurting her will just hurt you too," Fey pointed out. "But you and I both know she's amazing," she murmured. "Is this just like... a fuck buddies situation or...? Who else are you sleeping with?" Questions she probably shouldn't ask, knew she didn't really have the right to, but that never stopped her. Fey needed to get this information for her best friend. "You gonna ask her to be your girlfriend or what?"

closed starter for @prcttyvxnom ( feyza & vance ! )
A groan slips from her lips as she pushes herself upwards in bed, grimacing at the slight pounding in her skull. That was absolutely the last time she let Iva convince her to do that many shots. One glance at her surroundings and Fey immediately realised she wasn't in her own apartment, immediately leaping out of the bed to fetch her clothes. Hearing the other stir, she grabbed the sheet to cover herself, turning to face ---
"Vance?" She blinked, before her eyes widened as she pieced the memories from last night together. She'd been out drinking with Iva, Ceyhan had arrived, she'd left them bickering and somehow left to sleep with her ex. Well shit. "Morning..."

"You owe me dinner," Fey mused, leaning against her sisters desk with a smile. "The phone call lasted about... ten minutes and he spent at least nine of them complaining about how his life was so unfair that Iva was here." She shook her head, arching an eyebrow as her phone chimed. "Wanna bet again? I'm almost certain that's Iva texting to complain about Cey being... well, Ceyhan."

An irritated sigh escaped her lips as she rolled her eyes skywards, almost in disbelief of what she was hearing. "I don't care, Martins, I need it done by yesterday. I've given you more than enough time now, get it done." Her tone was sharp and final, and she swiftly ended the call, muttering angrily in Turkish as she glared at the stack of paperwork that littered the café table. Feeling a presence by her shoulder, Feyza forced a smile on her lips as she turned to face the other -- not wanting her stress to be taken out on anyone else. However, as she saw him, her face immediately fell. "Varun. Can I help you?" She asked, using the tone she usually saved for professional conversations, but after everything that had happened between them, the last thing Feyza needed was for things to become emotional right now.

Swearing under her breath, Feyza let her prim façade drop the second the two left the restaurant. Her parents had roped her into a dinner with their business associates that they couldn't attend themselves. Naturally, they'd also told them that her boyfriend would be attending. The very fake boyfriend she currently was detangling herself from.
"I owe you big time," She admitted, running her hands through her hair. "Honestly, Dorian, you are literally a lifesaver." Her eyes scanned her surroundings, before she turned to him with a grin. "Drinks?"

"Oh, well perhaps I should've made a point to call beforehand," though that would've defeated the point of a surprise visit, she did have a genuine need for the visit beyond just wanting to see the other. "If you wouldn't mind, though I can understand if I'm not exactly the...target audience here." Zuri admitted with a faint blush caressing her cheeks. "Everything is beautiful, though I've never really found myself to be a jewelry person, aside from my old locket." She admitted, lifting the pendant in question.
"Ah," The woman smiled, slipping her phone into her back pocket. "Yes, he had to step out for a moment or so. Didn't give too many details, however I'm sure he'll be back soon, so you're welcome to wait around if you wish." Feyza's eyes scanned her shop, making sure to double check there was no other customers that needed her attention. "Anything caught your eye?"

A small, startled yelp slipped from her lips as the dog bounded towards her. Regaining her composure, Feyza brushed her hair from her eyes, a soft smile gracing her lips. "That's alright, he just caught me off guard," She admitted, watching the dog. "They're very cute."
location:
“Dex!” Keaton called the australian shepherd’s name as it bound toward the person closest, tail whipping back and forth as he strained ahead on the leash. Next time, his smaller dog was walking calmly, none the wiser to the sight ahead of them. “Sorry– he’s just overly eager and wants to say hi. Dexter, come.” Tail slowing ever so slightly, Dexter did as he was told, trotting back to Keaton’s side, though it was done with some reluctance. “I promise they’re both well trained. Usually.”

"Not particularly, I believe in things I can see, and surely with the technologies we've developed we'd have found something by now," Feyza arched an eyebrow. "Hm. I'm sure others have the... opposite opinion. I'd definitely try and broaden your dating pool, however."
"Of course I do," Marina said, dumbfounded. "Don't you? Do you seriously not believe that in the infinite universe, there isn't intelligent lifeforms anywhere other than here? And that they haven't developed technologies on their own time scale, which could be way longer than ours, and therefore much more advanced?" She let out a frustrated huff of air. "It's just... I'm not saying it's logical, but I think not having any belief in aliens is just... weird. Red flag."

"You are very good at it," She mused, before sighing. "Do you think I'm being truly ridiculous? Letting them rule my life like this? Though I feel as though one wrong move and they'll make poor Defne suffer, or they'll yank the company from me without warning." At the mention of her being happy, Feyza huffed. "Perhaps, though I think I have a habit of ruining anything good in my life. Varun. Vance."
"I'd be your biggest supporter," She told him with a laugh, her troubles melting away slightly at the affection. "Mhm, that sounds just like what we need right now, honestly. Though if we bump into Ceyhan, you may need to distract him. He'll never let me live it down."
Dorian shook his head almost simultaneously with her apology, "You are not to blame for any of this, fooling people like this is something I enjoy, even if it does take the occasional toll. One day, we'll make them more miserable than they've made you and on that day, we'll be sure you also find yourself happy."
"Maybe I'll take that into consideration for my next life, or if I take on a career move." Dorian smiled back, pulling her closer and giving her a quick kiss to the forehead. "I wouldn't be opposed to shirtless men, and I have a feeling you wouldn't be either."

leon looks down at the state of the car, "at least forty?" he suggests with a small smile the number of wet wipes she wants to steal. "i mean, if you wanna spend the rest of your day stealing shit and going through the ordeal of cleaning that, it's fine. i'm just saying it might be a bit more fun to let someone else do it and we can get something to drink." the blond feels as if he's coming through a bit desperate. he's not sure where his head's at. "anyway," he sighs, "your call."
" that's never been alcohol, darling. " she blamed her education for wanting to do a mini-intervention right there and then, but forced her lips to stay sealed. she wasn't going to be an absolute bore to the person willing to lend a helping hand. " uhm... " she couldn't have felt more slow in that moment. literally. " how would that work ? you'd help and you'd pay ? " she laughed a bit, the idea seemed absurd. " i'm too big of a cheapstake to pay for someone to do something i can do. honestly. " however annoying it'd be. " but the question is... how many packets of wet wipes do i need to steal ? "
