how to stop being chronically online ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ 🎀
you wake up and immediately check your phone. you fall asleep scrolling. you know more about strangers' lives than your own.
you're addicted to being online and it's stealing your life.
why you can't log off:
your real life feels boring compared to the highlight reel you see online. everyone else looks like they're living their best life while you're just surviving.
you use other people's content to avoid creating your own. it's easier to consume than to build. easier to watch than to do.
scrolling numbs feelings you don't want to feel. boredom, loneliness, anxiety, emptiness. your phone is your drug of choice.
you're addicted to comparison and validation. likes, comments, views become your measure of worth.
what it's costing you: your attention span is shot. you can't focus on anything for more than a few minutes without reaching for your phone.
your real relationships suffer because you're always half-present, half-scrolling.
you're living your life through other people instead of creating your own experiences.
how to get your life back:
delete apps that make you feel worse about yourself. if it triggers comparison or makes you feel inadequate, it has to go.
create morning and evening routines without your phone. let your brain wake up and wind down without immediately plugging into the internet.
find hobbies that don't require a screen. read books, learn instruments, exercise, cook, create something with your hands.
spend time with people in real life. have conversations without documenting them. experience moments without posting them.
remember that social media is a highlight reel, not reality. everyone is struggling with something they're not posting about.
the goal isn't to never use technology: it's to use it intentionally instead of compulsively. to choose when you engage instead of being pulled in by addiction.
your real life is happening while you're watching other people's fake lives.
log off and live.

inner glow up. ᥫ᭡

while we focus on our physical selves to glow up, we tend to forget about our minds and hearts. we also need to focus on letting more light come into ourselves. the way we think, the way we love, the way we expend our energy; all of that can have this aspect of “glowing up” too! in this post, we’re going to discuss how to glow from within and let that beautiful new energy radiate outwards.
let’s begin …
୨ৎ — the mind
deep clean your thoughts
meditation:
take a moment, even if it’s just for 5 minutes, to sit and clear your head. focus on breathing exercises, concentrate on the rhythm of your heart, listen to the ambient noises of your surroundings. meditation is a fantastic way of clearing your mind and removing those overwhelming thoughts that are piling up in your brain! you also don’t need to be sitting, you could also meditate while in the shower! i have an entire guide on how to do so! you can also take meditative walks and focus on your surroundings.
journaling:
just dump all your thoughts onto a page, write down everything that’s on your mind. once you’re done you can even rip up the paper and toss it away! doing these journal dumps can help release those racing thoughts and clear your mind. it may even help to relieve some weight off your shoulders!
decorate your mind with peace & kindness
write down affirmations or go to a mirror and say those affirmations to yourself! fill your head with positive thoughts and calming reassurance.
try recording a voice message & send it to yourself! you can say your affirmations that way or give yourself a motivational mini-speech. this way, you can go back to those messages when you need an uplifting message from someone. and it’s always better to get back up with kindness and love from yourself!
organize your headspace
make room for positivity, peace, and grace and throw out all the negativity that’s tossed around in your head. don’t let negative talk from others, media, or yourself take up space in your head! your mind should never hold a spot for negativity.
distance yourself from those who bring you down
delete social media that no longer serves you or take regular breaks to unplug from your phone
replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations
replace “i can’t” with “i can”
୨ৎ — the heart
nurture your heart
as your mind is an important place to keep thoughts of joy, kindness, and love, your heart needs to feel it!
practice self care
take care of your physical needs (shower, drink water, brush your teeth, eat nutritious and delicious foods, move your body)
write yourself love letters
say “thank you” when receiving compliments
provide protection for your feelings
your heart is scared and access to it should be very limited. don’t let just anyone in. now, i’m not saying you have to put iron walls up around your heart and feelings, but i’m saying that you need to be selective. be picky about who you surround yourself with.
invite people who…
provide genuine & unconditional love
support you and your dreams
encourage you to prioritize your health (physical & mental)
offer guidance when you feel lost
close the doors on people who…
make jokes out of your insecurities
take your passions and dreams as something to laugh about
invalidate your feelings and thoughts
think it’s okay to walk all over you
don’t value your time and space
୨ৎ — letting in the light
i believe our energies attract different things whether we want them to or not. letting dark or bad energy ruminate within yourself and allowing it to consume you can attract misfortune, loss, and sadness which keeps us from reaching our true potential.
let light or good energy flow within you and let that energy be the one that takes up all the space. you’ll attract what you actually want rather than the things you wish to avoid.
light energy can come from…
taking up hobbies you enjoy
listening to music that makes you feel good
spending time with loved ones
going on nature walks
playing with pets
celebrating your accomplishments
final notes —
the biggest take away from this: protect your peace. becoming the best version of yourself comes with knowing how to find peace within yourself and making sure you show yourself love and kindness. the main person you should lean on for that kind of good energy should be you. let your glow up start from within!
with lots of love, faustina 🌷

Guide : Start becoming that girl

Stop dreaming. Start acting.
It’s time to stop fantasizing about the life you want and actually start building it.
Grab a cute planner—digital or paper, whatever works for you—and begin visualizing your dream life. That’s how it starts.
✨ And remember: you don’t have to do everything perfectly from day one. Becoming that girl takes time. It’s a process, not a race.
⸻
Step 1: Build your foundation
🥗 Nourish your body
You don’t need to completely change your diet overnight. Just start with small, sustainable changes:
• Drink more water and green tea
• Reduce processed sugar and saturated fats
• Listen to your body and feed it with care
🧘🏻♀️ Move your body
Working out is one of the most powerful mindset shifters. Yes, it’s hard at first—but it’s so worth it.
Start with short, gentle Pilates sessions. Here are some creators I love:
Nicola’s Pilates, Hinafit, Shirlyn Kim, and Celamarr — their videos are beginner-friendly and super motivating.
Aim for 20 minutes, 3 times a week. That’s more than enough to feel a difference.
🧖♀️ Skincare is self-care
You don’t need a 10-step routine. Start simple:
• Cleanse and moisturize twice a day
• Cerave is a great, gentle brand
• Pure aloe vera works wonders for oily/acne-prone skin
• Always remove your makeup before bed—your skin deserves rest too
⸻
Step 2: Boost your hygiene & wellness
🪥 Brush your teeth and your tongue twice a day. Use a mouthwash (but check the instructions—some are only once daily).
💤 Prioritize sleep. This is a non-negotiable.
Try to get 7–8 hours of sleep per night. You’ll feel and look the difference.
Avoid screens before bed—read a self-development book, a glow-up guide, or even a cute romance novel. Just something you enjoy.
⸻
Step 3: Plan. Romanticize. Level up.
📔 Planning helps you feel in control and motivated. Use a planner you love looking at—it makes a huge difference.
🌸 Romanticize everything. The process, the tiny steps, the “boring” parts.
Fall in love with your aesthetic and your goals.
Be obsessed with your glow-up—not in a toxic, perfectionist way—but in a beautiful, empowering way that fuels you.
🎧 Watch inspiring content (The Wizard Liz is a queen), listen to “bad bitch” playlists, and surround yourself with energy that makes you feel unstoppable.
⸻
Final reminder:
You can be that girl too.
You deserve to feel good in your body, your mind, and your life.
Just start. The rest will follow. 💖

how to let go of self-destructive behaviors/habits
when will enough be enough?
when will you get so sick and tired of the harmful habits that you keep doing? "it's just this once." "this is the last time." but it's not. you know it's not.
so how do you finally get out of these self-destructive habits and finally let yourself be the version of yourself that you want to be? deserve to be. no matter what you think, you deserve to do better for yourself.
you have to be conscious of the feeling that this behavior is giving you.
comfort is the feeling it gives me.
you must find a different way to comfort yourself. crochet, reading, sports, friends, naps, journaling, and baking are just a few examples of non-destructive behaviors that may give you the same feeling of comfort.
in my case i know that when i do my self-destructive behaviors it's because i want to feel comforted by something, and the behavior is the easiest thing to do. it gives me an instant feeling of relief. but the feeling i have afterwards is the worst. the guilt could eat me alive. so instead i do horseback riding. it gives me a feeling a comfort (while simultaneously pushing me out of my comfort zone) and belonging. when i do horseback riding i think of nothing else but riding.
you may not have anything else that brings you comfort or soothes your soul in the moment like the self-destructive behavior you are doing. so you have to make an effort to find one.
if you don't you will never change and become the person you deserve to be.
xoxo

health tips to make your life easier! ♡
make up your own mind — going along with everyone else is easier in the moment, but dangerous in the long run;
replace your phone as much as possible — if all your gadgets and needs are in your phone, of course you'll become dependent on it;
drink a glass of water after each time you pee — probably the easiest way to keep up your hydration without relying on apps or alarms;
consciously breathe — inhale for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds. i say seconds, but it can just be a slow count. do this whenever you feel anxious, fast or distracted, but also when you're at peace;
chew your food properly — you don't have to count, just don't swallow if you can still feel the food in its original texture;
walk everywhere you can — it is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your health (and save some money from uber);
quit snacking — if you're hungry between meals, you either need to eat better meals, or you're dehydrated. being in constant digestive process is harmful for your body;
write things down — give your notes app a rest and get a real notebook. it will change the way you think and feel about your thoughts and feelings;
turn off the news and tabloids — you don't need to know everything that's going on all over the world all the time;
be a part of nature, not an observer of it — plant something, touch grass, dance under the rain, say good morning to the sun and good evening to the moon, speak to animals and plants, visit the ocean, rivers and lakes, and believe deeply in the strength of the universe;

appearence; "is she glowing?" - glow up guide no.2
Hey love, how are you doin?
Today we'll cover the next part of our glow up journey - our looks. So without further ado, let's begin!
I prepared a list of things you can do in order to boost your looks, and take care of yourself at the same time, so you can glow up<3
FACE:
⟶ don't pick your pimples!!! It's the worst thing you can do when dealing with acne/spots/blackheads etc. Instead go see a dermatologist. You can also use salicylic acid, azelaic acid or pimple patches ⟶ start double cleansing to remove all makeup and dirts from your face. Use an oil cleanser first, and a water based one afterwards. ⟶ use vitamin C to brighten your skin and give it this healthy glow ⟶ diet is also very important to keep your face clean and glowy. Make sure you're not eating too much sugar and processed foods that may cause inflammation. ⟶ use makeup according to your face shape and to enhance your features. ⟶ depuff your face using ice cubes, gua sha and face massages ⟶ When you sleep on our side, your face is pressed against the pillow causing acne and wrinkles, so sleep on your back or invest in a silk/satin pillowcase to reduce friction. ⟶ make sure you're using spf 50 daily
BODY:
⟶ move your body! Find an acitivy that you enjoy and move your body daily. You can go to the gym, find a class (like pilates or spinning maybe?) or just workout at home, stretch or go on walks. I personally love dancing and stretching, and I also try to walk at least 10k steps a day. ⟶ check up at the doctors regularly to make sure you're healthy ⟶ make sure you're sleeping enough, this is very important if you want to feel and look your best. Studies recommend at least 7 hours for and adult, and minimum 8 hours for teenagers ⟶ diet, im sorry but this is key to a healthy lifestyle and body. A healty, balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables and whole foods is essencial. Make sure to get enough protein and healthy fats in. I am not a medical professional, so if you have any special needs, allergies or you are in treatment consult any dietetary changes with your doctor or a certified dietetician. ⟶ use a nourishing body wash and after the shower use a lotion to moisturise your skin. And use deodorant after every shower. ⟶ exfoliate using a scrub or an exfoliating glove once/twice a week to keep your skin soft ⟶ you can take a pumice stone to soften the rough skin on your feet, and make sure to clean and cut your toenails. ⟶ find a signature scent, I recommend perfumes as they last longer but scented mists are also good. Bonus points if you have a lotion in the same smell to enhance the scent. ⟶ this is optional, but if you'd like to take your body care to the next level, everything showers are amazing! I do one about every two weeks on sundays. This is the time for you to take a cozy bath, exfoliate, wash your hair, maybe do a face mask? There is no right or wrong for an everything shower, just make yourself feel good and clean the way you like it<3
HAIR:
⟶ wash your hair 2-4x a week depending on your needs. Don't wash your hair daily as it can cause damaged hair and a dry, itchy scalp. If your hair gets greasy easily, try to at least wash it every other day. ⟶ use a hair mask once a week ⟶ I find that the best hair care is according to your hair porosity. You can check it with the glass of water test. Simply take a clean, product-free strand of loose hair and put it in a glass of water. If the hair floats at the top then it is low porosity, if it sinks slowly or settles in the middle it is medium/normal porosity, and if it sinks straight to the bottom then it is high porosity. ⟶ every night before bed apply hair oil to your ends and put your hair in a protective hairstyle such as loose braid to keep it from damage while you sleep. ⟶ use rosemary or argan oil to grow and thicken your hair ⟶ trim split/damaged ends when needed ⟶ you can use a scalp scrubber to better clean all the dirt and scalp build up ⟶ avoid excessive heat and when you do, use heat protection
CLOTHES:
⟶ rather than buying every microtrend that exist, invest in quality pieces and create a capsule wardrobe. Keep in mind to adjust it to your own personal style, or if you don't have one you can look ideas up on pinterest. ⟶ wear accesories! Necklaces, bracelets, sunglasses etc can elevate your looks by 1000x! Find out whether gold or silver fits you the best, or maybe you find diamonds or pearls a better fit? ⟶ keep your clothes clean and neat, iron them when needed to avoid looking slumpy
ESSENTIALS:
⟶ brush your teeth 2x a day ⟶ brush and detangle your hair ⟶ use a lip balm to hydrate your lips ⟶ always keep a hand cream near to use when needed ⟶ get enough sleep ⟶ move your body and eat healthy ⟶ stay hydrated, drink at least 2l of water a day
That's everything for today sparkles, I hope you enjoyed this post and I am waiting for your comments on how your glow up journey is going<3

Keep your nails polished in pastel shades or chic neutrals.
Wear dainty gold jewelry for a subtle touch of luxe.
Add a touch of blush to your cheeks—think fresh and natural.
Hydrate like it’s your job; carry a cute tumbler (not Tumblr) everywhere.

Maintain impeccable posture (hello, elegance!).
Romanticize daily tasks like making tea or studying.
Cultivate a soft, airy aesthetic wardrobe with flowy dresses.
Practice a signature wink or wave to charm everyone around you.
Schedule regular dance sessions to stay active and joyful.
Opt for gradient lip tints to nail the “bitten lips” look.
Journal your affirmations—manifesting positivity is so in.
Curate a Pinterest board full of dreamy visuals to stay inspired.
Be unapologetically yourself, but always with grace and kindness.
Decorate your space with fresh flowers and candles.

how to handle failure ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
because, with every success, there are 100 failures that came before it
allow yourself to process. it's useless to rush to "fix it." it's also of no use to beat yourself down for what happened. just let yourself sit with the disappointment or the many emotions for a moment. journal about it or something to help you process. it's completely normal to feel disappointed and upset.
detach your worth from the outcome. I often find myself going into that toxic loophole time after time again after I fail: blaming myself for everything, thinking that it's the end of the world, already planning on how to scrap my entire current identity, change my name, and move to Chad. but, failure is something that happens, not who you are. just because you failed at this thing does not mean that you are not smart, capable, or talented.
growth. mindset. I know it's cliché, but there's a good reason why it is repeated so much.
rebuild confidence with small wins. after failure, it's easy to doubt yourself. just like how, after success, it is easy to want to try again or pursue something more difficult. start with something small to regain your confidence in yourself. set mini goals that you can actually achieve. in my case, for example, i could write a tumblr post about failure (now you know what prompted this post...). once you achieve it, in my case sending out the post, you feel much better about yourself because you succeeded at one task!
now, you can finally problem solve. what could you have changed that was in your control? you can't control other's opinions on your performance (like judges' comments, placings, or outcomes), the weather, or anything else that has to do with other people or nature.
what you can control is how prepared you are for each circumstance (including performance-wise and for things like the weather), your own time management, etc. maybe there needed to be a change in approach. either way, focus on what you can do, not how you think things should have gone, or anything that you have zero control over. (calling myself out...)
keep moving. progress isn't linear. setbacks happen. even if it feels like the end of the world right now, it's really not. you are not behind, you are not defined by one moment. keep going, and soon the failure will seem small and insignificant.
failure doesn't mean that your dream is over. it just means that the path is different. you've got this. keep going!
sincerely, q's playlist

why you're not glowing up (it's not what you think) ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ 🎀
you're doing all the "right" things. skincare routine, gym membership, new wardrobe, pinterest-worthy morning routine. you bought the supplements, followed the influencers, saved every "that girl" post.
so why do you still feel exactly the same?
because you're trying to glow up from the outside in. completely backwards.
the girls who actually transform — the ones who look different six months later, who carry themselves like they know something you don't — they didn't start with the aesthetic. they started with the invisible stuff first.
you're still operating from your old identity
here's the thing nobody tells you: you can't dress like her, work out like her, eat like her, and still think like the old you. your brain will sabotage every external change until your internal world catches up.
you'll buy the expensive skincare and still pick at your face. you'll meal prep on sunday and binge by wednesday. you'll set the 6am alarm and hit snooze until 9.
why? because deep down, you still believe you're the girl who doesn't follow through. you still see yourself as the one who starts strong and gives up. you're trying to change your actions while keeping your old story about yourself.
the real work is rewriting that story. deciding you're someone who keeps promises to herself. someone who deserves the life she's building. someone who doesn't quit when it gets boring.
you're avoiding the real work
face masks are easier than facing your patterns. new clothes are easier than new boundaries. gym selfies are easier than sitting with why you actually hate yourself.
the real glow up work is boring:
going to therapy and actually doing the homework
journaling without making it aesthetic
saying no to people who drain you (even when they guilt trip you)
setting standards and sticking to them when someone tests them
sitting with discomfort instead of shopping it away
looking at why you seek validation from people who don't even like themselves
you want the transformation without the mess. but healing is messy. growth is uncomfortable. real change means grieving who you used to be.
you're performing transformation, not living it
posting about your 5am routine doesn't make you a morning person. talking about self-love doesn't mean you practice it. buying the books doesn't mean you read them.
you're performing the aesthetic of change without doing the actual work.
real transformation is invisible at first:
choosing yourself even when no one's watching
doing the work when it's not exciting anymore
building habits so quietly no one notices until the results are undeniable
healing your relationship with yourself before you try to fix anything else
stop documenting your journey and start living it.
you're waiting for motivation to maintain you
motivation got you started. that burst of "new year, new me" energy that had you buying workout clothes and downloading meditation apps.
but motivation is a liar. it shows up when you don't need it and disappears when you do.
discipline keeps you going. discipline is showing up on tuesday at 6am when the excitement has worn off. discipline is choosing the salad when you want the fries. discipline is doing your skincare routine when you're exhausted.
the girls who actually transform? they show up on the days they don't want to. every single time. they built systems that work even when they don't feel like it.
you're trying to skip the basics
you want the advanced routine before you've mastered drinking enough water. you want the perfect morning routine before you can wake up on time. you want self-love before you've learned basic self-respect.
glow ups aren't built on complicated routines and expensive products. they're built on basics done consistently:
sleeping 7-8 hours
drinking water
moving your body
eating food that nourishes you
protecting your peace
keeping promises to yourself
master the boring stuff first. the magic happens in the mundane.
you think time will fix what discipline won't
"i'll start monday." "after the holidays." "when life calms down."
life is never going to calm down. there will always be stress, chaos, reasons to wait. the girls who glow up don't wait for perfect conditions — they create them.
stop waiting for the right time. there is no right time. there's only right now.
the real glow up formula
change your identity first. decide who you want to be, then start acting like her today.
do the boring work. therapy, boundaries, healing, discipline. the stuff that doesn't photograph well.
build systems, not motivation. create routines that work even when you don't feel like it.
master the basics. sleep, water, movement, nourishment, peace.
stay consistent longer than you stayed inconsistent. this is where most people quit.
stop trying to look transformed. start being transformed.
stop performing your glow up for the internet. start living it for yourself.
stop waiting for motivation to save you. start building discipline to sustain you.
your glow up isn't about becoming someone new — it's about becoming who you've always been underneath all the fear, doubt, and other people's opinions.
she was always there. you just forgot how to be her.
