In terms of pure euphony I think Rogue One/Andor originated two of the best space names in the GFFA. “Cassian Andor” and “Luthen Rael” both just roll off the tongue so SO nicely

Hera divorcing Zeus was a lazy retcon of all the complexity & nuance behind their relationship towards the beginning of the comic, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise. _(:'3 」∠)_

I believe there were multiple factors that led to this "decision," all of which are ultimately attributed to bad writing. It's def partly due to the reccurring problem of RS biting off more than she can chew by introducing deeper, more interesting plotlines just for the fun or challenge of it ig?? But she'd either get bored with it or realize the topic was too heavy for her to handle, so the plots would become inconsistent & oftentimes retconned altogether, and this very much seems like what happened with Zeus & Hera's story.

But I think another recurring problem is also to blame, being RS seeing her readers headcanon or leave "OH, but what if fill-in-the-blank happened!?1!" comments like the adolescent-minded fangirls they are and she'd just go, "Oh yeah, let's do that!!" just to give them fanservice. Hence the readers shipping Hera with Echo after seeing them interact for two seconds and RS slapping them together with legit no buildup whatsoever.

But there's still yet another recurring problem that's at fault here, which is sort of similar to the previous one tbh. RS's warped perception of feminism basically boils down to this bizarre combination of victimizing women in every possible way by putting them at the mercy of chauvinist men then making them "move past" their trauma without any actual healing process and those same women looking down on & mistreating people who aren't even a threat to them simply to feel better about themselves.

Therefore, the narrative portrays Hera simultaneously as a victim of Zeus & Kronos' horrible abuse (Rightfully so, don't get me wrong) and a boss babe who gets back at her cheating husband by having an ongoing affair with his brother & divorcing him for someone who's part of a class she's discriminated against her entire life.

If that isn't true feminism, Idk what is. /s (￣ ￣|||)

Sooooo... Yeah, it couldn't be more obvious that the divorce was pretty much just a last minute writing decision under the guise of feminism for the sake of appeasing her audience for brownie points. I'll never not hate this disaster of a "plot twist" when I know for a fact just how much potential there was for an actually suitable & satisfactory ending, when I know it could've been so much more... (ಥ‸ಥ)

Alright, I was holding off for journalistic integrity but now that I've seen the WotR film I can make posts about it without restraint.

Jesus christ the racial politics of this film are atrocious. Some character might as well just tell Wulf 'not to play the race card'. Wulf is a liberal snowflake who blames racism for all his troubles and can't pull himself up by his bootstraps and he is also brown-skinned and obsessively pursues our PORCLAIN white dainty-drawn female protagonist with both romantic and murderous intent. Oppression of dunlendings by the Rohirrim exists only in Wulf's head apparently, though it can be tasted in every spat 'dunlending' perjorative that comes from Helm or Haleth's mouth. But Hera has absolutely no racism within her of course! She refuses Wulf because she doesnt want to marry anyone and Wulf just assumes it's because his dunlending blood disgusts her, so entitled of him!

But also maybe the racism is '''justified'''? If it exists? Which it doesn't! But IF it did, don't worry because ONCE AGAIN all the dunlendings are just greedy, clutching, unwashed, skull wearing, violent barbarians with no unique culture to speak of and no reasons to be making war on Rohan except to sieze what isn't theirs (ignoring the fact that it totally was theirs until Rohan seized it from them and OH BOY are we ignorin' that) And the only dunlending we see not frothing at the mouth for violence or showing any introspective depth at all is General Targg who is the mouthpiece with which we get to hear 'the girl (Hera) is right' whereupon he is promptly killed by Wulf.

Oh but of course, what else could Helm have done? Freca was some greedy FAT man (boy does everyone love calling him fat, happy to lean into THAT aspect of canon) whose lands were too prosperous for his own good (hang on isn't keeping your lands prosperous the platonic ideal of lordship?) And he called a 'Witan' (no he didn't, he came to one of the regular councils of lords that Helm called himself) just to make a scene about how Helm was going to marry Hera to a lord of gondor which is bad because Gondor has some nebulous hold over Rohan so Hera should marry Wulf instead (literally none of that, Freca simply asked Helm to wed his daughter to Wulf, his son, a completely normal and legitimate political strategy to secure a better relationship with the King's family since Helm already mistrusted him for having dunlending blood. Freca is a lord of Rohan, he is rich, he traces his ancestry back to King Freawine, this could not be a more reasonable suggestion in canon.)

SO OBVIOUSLY Helm had to get angry and call Freca fat again (true he did do that) and THEN claim that Freca only wanted his throne (there was never any suggestion of this in the books, it was just the offer of marriage which insulted Helm) to which Freca answered "Old kings that refuse a proffered staff may fall on their knees," and Helm is like okay lets take this outside.

And now THIS change is actually so important in understanding the extreme nature of the Rohir/Helm favouritism that is the main focus of this film. In the film Helm pretty much immediately takes Freca outside, he reassures Frealaf that Freca just needs to be shown his place, this is the only way to settle the matter, if he doesn't embarass him here then Freca will try to take his crown and slay his family apparently, his hunch ig etc etc. Freca punches Helm three times in full view of the whole of Edoras including Freca's two men who came with him, then Helm punches him back and he is knocked out cold and dead by the time he hits the ground. Film!Helm does not realise he has done this and tells Freca to get up, Wulf realises his father is dead and threatens Helm with revenge, swords are draw against him which he tries to calm before Wulf attacks him. Helm incapacitates Wulf, his sons draw THEIR swords and Helm exiles Wulf for drawing his sword on his king. Messy right? Like not a good thing to do, generally brawling with your lords is a bad idea full stop, but if you fear for the lives of your children then idk maybe it's excusable? And then it's just an unfortunate series of events right? And Freca was rude and insulting to a king in his own halls, heat of the moment etc etc

I feel so comfortable in telling you that Helm murders Freca in cold blood in the books, fully intending that to be the outcome.

He does not take him outside initially, Book!Helm tells Freca that this marriage dispute isn't important and they will deal with it later. And then;

When the council was over, Helm stood up and laid his great hand on Freca’s shoulder, saying: "The king does not permit brawls in his house, but men are freer outside"; and he forced Freca to walk before him out from Edoras into the field. To Freca’s men that came up he said: "Be off ! We need no hearers. We are going to speak of a private matter alone. Go and talk to my men!" And they looked and saw that the king’s men and his friends far outnumbered them, and they drew back. "Now, Dunlending," said the king, "you have only Helm to deal with, alone and unarmed. But you have said much already, and it is my turn to speak. Freca, your folly has grown with your belly. You talk of a staff! If Helm dislikes a crooked staff that is thrust on him, he breaks it. So!" With that he smote Freca such a blow with his fist that he fell back stunned, and died soon after. Helm then proclaimed Freca’s son and near kin the king’s enemies; and they fled, for at once Helm sent many men riding to the west marches.

I think we can all agree that forcing someone out of your city, isolating them away from their fellows with threats of violence, telling them you will break them, killing them in one blow and then proclaiming their kin your enemies and forcing them to flee to escape a murderous pursuit, is pretty clearly premeditated murder. There is not much nuance here, Freca tresspassed over a line with Helm that Dunlendings are not allowed to cross and Helm killed him for it.

And listen like, the description of this whole story within the appendices is barely more than three pages. This is not an obscure missable aspect of the tale, nor is it outside of what rights they had to adapt. The choice was made, actively, ONCE AGAIN by the Warner Bros cinematic universe makers, to drastically alter book events in order to sand down any immorality within Rohan's narrative, especially where the Dunlendings are concerned. And in the end the only 'mistake' Helm is allowed to learn and grow from is some nebulous and trite 'not believing enough in his daughter' schpiel, which needs to be the subject of a whole 'nother post actually.

And what's agonising is they COULD have done it like they were so close, there are multiple moments where me and my friend watching were like struck!! With grief! Over how impactful this moment could have been if only the racism actually existed as an acknowledged theme in the story. If only it was something Hera had to come to terms with, if only IT was the true driver of these horrors to the point where it's Avatar, Hera's father, a man who loves her and whom she has loved all her life, turns into a cold icey ghost of brutality, far more vicious and barbaric than the people he so reviles, and reveals to her the terrible truth of his actions and motivations. It's agony I tell you.

Anyway I did not like the film.

Okay this is random but I was thinking about the episode Persephone tells Hades about Apollo and she’s talking about loukoumi to deflect and she brings up that she likes to add orange or lemon juice(i can’t remember which one she was talking about and webtoon won’t let me double check it) to her loukoumi when she makes it and how that’s unusual(I think anyway, again can’t make sure cuz wt sucks) But like? It’s not, you go to the airport in Greece and boom, that type of loukoumi is an option.

It's the same vibe I get now off that scene of Hera apologizing to Persephone for not having more vegetarian options in her home, and Zeus calling the practice a "waste of time"... but they're all clearly eating the same meal anyways and Mediterranean / Greek food is commonly vegetarian anyways ?? like wtf is Zeus talking about, it's really easy and commonplace to be vegetarian, like 70% of the Mediterranean diet is plant-based LMAO

like i guess that toast-looking thing is meant to be meat??? or maybe fish ig?? but again, it's not unheard of to be vegetarian in Greece anyways so idk what the fuck Zeus is talking about LMAO the only out-of-comic explanation I can think of is that Rachel Americanized LO so much that she thinks the old American joke of "haha stupid vegetarian! they're so inferior to us meat eaters!" can be applied to any culture (and that wouldn't be too insane of a stretch considering how much of the rest of LO is written through an American lens)

Reading the Iliad, Book 16 thoughts

This is my first time ever reading it and I know next to nothing abt greek mythology so if I interpret anything wrong by all means pls correct me

Im reading the Robert Fagles translation

Patroclus has his moment in the sun. Too bad the god of the sun doesn't like him all that much

Haven't finished the book but I'm pretty sure this is my favorite chapter

Patroclus makes it back to Achilles' tent in full-blown tears and instead of being helpful Achilles says "You're crying like a little girl clinging to her mother's skrits and that's really uncool of you."

LMAO like Achilles wasn't doing the fucking same in book one

Achilles then wonders if Patroclus has heard news back from Phthia, maybe one of their fathers dying.

Patroclus basically tells him that it's a shit show out in the camp and things are not looking good for them.

This man even gives Achilles the benefit of the doubt and asks him if there's some prophecy Achilles hasn't told him about that is barring him from fighting. Achilles is like "Agamemnon disrespected me and it's not deeper than that tbh"

I feel like we have to give Achilles his flowers here bc if he isn't anything else he's committed to the bit THAT MAN IS NO QUITTER. In the worst way possible ofc

Achilles calls Patroclus "My Prince🥹" IM FINNA CRY

Then we get into the whole "Put me in your armor" thing and Homer writes Patroclus as "condemned to beg for his own death" so we love that ig

Achilles tells Patroclus to NOT fight Hector and to just push the Trojans away from the ships and to definitely NOT try to take Troy without him.

Achilles stresses that Apollo may kill Pat if he does any of those things.

Jump back to Ajax (greater) bc he's kinda on the ropes, he's tired, he's being swamped, he's struggling

Achilles sees this and he's like "Okay hurry up and get out there NOW"

Patroclus takes every piece of Achilles armor except for the shield and the spear because no man besides Achilles can even lift them

Achilles assembles the Mrymidons into 5 battalions, led by 5 men I don't feel like naming to all be led under Patroclus and Automedon

While they ride off into battle Achilles goes into a chest of his and pulls out a super nice cup, fills it with wine, and prays to Zeus while pouring it on the ground

He prays for two things: "That the Mrymidons push the enemy back AND for the safe return of Patroclus." Zeus only grants one of these wishes

Okay so Patroclus literally kills 15 people consecutively... AS IN ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER

Sarpedon sees Patroclus going wild and he decides that he really doesn't like that so he hops off his chariot and begins making his way toward Pat.

Patroclus hops off his chariot to meet him halfway

Zeus is stressed as hell bc he doesn't want his son to die so he wrestles with the urge to just sprit Sarpedon away from the battlefield and away from danger

Hera tells him that he absolutely cannot do that because all the gods will hate his ass if he pulls a move like that PLUS he changes fate which means that all the other gods would do it too

But does Ahprodite not pull that move like every other chapter? No one's up her ass about it so why can't Zeus

Zeus is literally crying tears of blood but he says ok

Sarpedon and Pat start going at each other, and both miss a couple of spear throws at each other until Patroclus picks up his spear, lunches it, and hits Sarpedon square in the chest.

Rip Sarpedon

Glaucus calls out for Apollo to heal his arm (bc Teucer shot him in it) Apollo heals him so he grabs a bunch of ppl to protect Sarpedon's body from being stripped

Patroclus goes to both Ajax's and tells them that Sarpedon is dead and that they have to get his armor/keep pushing the Trojans back.

More fighting, more dying

I noticed that Homer was actually talking to Patroclus during this book ("Patroclus O my rider, you did [insert action here]) I think this is the first time he does this so far (correct me if I'm wrong)

Anyway, ppl are still fighting over Sarpedon. Zeus is watching from afar and he just can't decide when Patroclus should die but he says "Not yet"

The Greeks end up stripping Sarpedon's body anyway

The Trojan army is shaking in their boots bc holy shit Patroclus is kinda fucking insane rn. Even Hector wants to go home at this point

The Greeks end up pushing the Tojans ALL the way back to the walls of Troy

Patroclus tries (and fails) three times to mount one of the towers BUT Apollo is a cheater and keeps knocking him down

Homer says Troy would have been taken that day if Apollo had not intervened.

On his fourth attempt to scale this fucking tower Apollo knocks Pat away again and yells "BRO THIS ISN'T EVEN UR DESTINY GO TF AWAY." 😭😭 wtf

Hector is inside the gates of Troy and bro does NOT wanna go back out there rn

Apollo comes to Hector in the form of his uncle and encourages him to get back on the battlefield bc Glory or something idk

Pat throws a rock at Hector which ends up hitting the guy driving his chariot right in the head and pops his fucking eyeballs out of their sockets.

Patroclus laughs at him and taunts his corpse.

So now it's just Hector and Patroclus and they end up having this game of tug o war with the guy's body which the Greeks also win

Apollo steps in and shit hit the fan yet again. He knocks Pat's helmet off and then starts fucking up Achilles' armor basically leaving him exposed to attack.

A random man throws a spear which lands in Patroclus's back and he falls forward

Hector walks up as Patroclus is trying to claw his way back to safety and stabs him in the stomach

Hector starts shit talking. And I like Hector don't get me wrong but bro you were just pissing urself about having to fight this man like a paragraph ago???

But does Patroclus go out like a bitch? NO. He looks at Hector and says "You didn't earn this kill and we both know that. TEWNTY Hectors wouldn't be able to bring me down, Apollo is the one who killed me not you and Achilles is gonna rock ur shit soon enough♥️." And Hector is like "🤨?"

The Uhhh… Okay Category

- Hades and Persephone (placing them here because while I do think their relationship is interesting AND I find good various retellings of them (excluding LO) like Hades Supergiant, Hadestown, etc I long for more neutral/nuanced takes on the kidnapping, not just by their romance (or lack of romance) but Demeter’s role in the story to be more respected. (It also can’t be helped that HxP has the most over saturated greek mythology content everywhere that people get tired of seeing them, especially portrayed as the “only good greek myth couple” like okay get outta here)

- Gaia and Uranus (I like them, their relationship is clearly important for Cronus’ succession story, but their conflict to me seems so.. short lived? Like you have your son castrate your husband for imprisoning your less appealing babies but now the strife is gone and you work together to tell your son he is destined to be overthrown by his son and telling your grandson to cannibalize his wife as good advice??? Like good for them ig but Rhea and Cronus just do it better imo)

- Hypnos and Pasithea (getting ur wife from a deal with her mom that makes you commit treason by inducing your king with sleep… nothing sketchy about this at allll) (but maybe they’re cute and functional besides that who knows)

- Ceyx and Alcyone (in one version they didn’t do it, in the other they’re just… very dumb to call themselves Zeus and Hera.)

- Procris and Cephalus (eos RUINS lives)

- Hephaestus and Aphrodite (lets be glad it ended bc while they are interesting and Hephaestus did make their marital strife public, I just think they had a better relationship after the divorce)

The Kinda Boring category (to me, subjectively, put down the pitchforks)

- Poseidon and Amphitrite (do they have one myth together that isn’t the Delphin seduction myth… Amphitrite is nice to Poseidon’s worst son. That’s. That’s kinda it. I wish we had more, like how they are with their children or literally anything else to depict a dynamic between them. Especially since they ARE supposed to be the king and queen of the sea. But nope. At least with Oceanus and Tethys they’re both obscure in their personalities so headcanoning stuff is fun to me. Poseidon having a well established personality and Amphitrite… oh dear Amphitrite…)

- Cadmus and Harmonia (they’re a couple in order become ascendants of more tragic humans like Actaeon, Semele and that’s it. They become Snakes in the end to repent for Cadmus’ mistake. Nothing really about their relationship with each other)

- Deucalion and Pyrrha (The Greek rendition of Christianity’s Noah’s Ark and yeah. Thats it)

I thought all of the gods have Chthonic aspects? chthonic related not to just the dead but also agriculture and the earth. Zeus, Apollo, Hera, Demeter, etc. are also Chthonic deities. Boxing deities into neat little boxes is just weird. The distinction really isn't that important because it just gets used in discussions such as "Ouronic vs Chthonic" in online spheres particularly with new members and these boxes can also be confusing to new worshippers who aren't sure how to worship their deities who are in an in between such as Hermes, Demeter, Dionysus and Poseidon. The classifications are made out to be way more important than they actually are in my opinion. This is in no way a critique on this blog, I adore it it's just I have no where else to share this.

for newbies to helpolytheism--keep in mind though my word is not law here (neither is anyone else's)--please don't concern yourself too much with chthonic vs ouranic gods. i personally use it because it helps me to narrow down the focus of this blog and my tumblr community, and to sometimes shed light on alternative ancient greek practices.

however, as anon says, basically every god has a chthonic aspect/epithet. and even furthermore, chthonic in no way means "dark" or "evil," it's literal translation is "of the earth." the reason why it's become synonymous with the Underworld, i don't know, but realistically there's not much of a big importance placed on chthonic vs ouranic outside of online circles.

Why do I continue to use the label then?

1) idk. sounds cool ig

2) to me there seems to be a small difference between chthonic and just the Underworld gods. Nyx, for example, would more than likely spend a considerable amount of time outside of the underworld, seeing as she is the harbinger of night. Hermes, too, is not an underworld god, but he travels to and from with relative frequency. now, could i just say "gods related to the underworld?" yes, most certainly, and maybe ill change it at some point. however i find that chthonic is just less wordy, and ig the hope has been this whole time that people would interpret it with nuance,,, but i could see where that would confuse new converts.

3) the worship of these "dark" gods/daemons/titans/protogenoi varies very slightly compared to true "ouranic" gods (i.e. zeus chthonius vs his "light" aspects). i have a whole post on it here somewhere

but yeah, in the end, fuck the labels. i just use them cause my little autistic brain is small and runs on hamster wheel power

Okay so it was mentioned that Reyna and Jason went on quests together. questS that's plural. so, u cannot tell me that during those quests they did not LOOK INTO EACH OTHERS EYES or HELD EACH OTHER WHILE ON THE BRINK OF DEATH AND FELT SOMETHING. THEY WERE PRAETORS TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE, LEADING CAMP JUPITER FOR MONTHS, YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT THERE ISN'T A MOMENT WHEN THINGS ARE TOO HEAVY AND THEY DEPEND ON EACH OTHER. U CANNOT TELL ME JASON DIDN'T COMFORTED REYNA WHEN SHE'S SO STRESSED AND REYNA BEING PROUD OF HIM.

Reyna is good at hiding her feelings but FOR SURE Jason can see through it. That's why he knew that Reyna doesn't like to be called by her real name, heck Jason knew HER FULL NAME. And the thing is, Jeyna has only been together for months (unlike Percabeth whose been together and doing quests for years, ig that's why their love for each other is so strong that not even Hera can manipulate it) so, i think that Jeyna are still figuring out what it was that they really feel for each other. then Hera came and wiped out his memories, and wakes up next to Piper with the idea that okay that's my girlfriend, so why not? HE DOESN'T REMEMBER ALL OF THOSE LITTLE IMPORTANT MOMENTS THAT HE AND REYNA HAD, so ig that's why he settled with Piper.

AND WHAT HURTS MORE is that Reyna's memories isn't wiped SO SHE REMEMBERS EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING THAT SHE AND JASON WENT THROUGH. SHE REMEMBERS HOW SMART JASON IS, HOW HE CARED FOR HER, HOW THEY MANAGED THE CAMP TOGETHER, EVEN THE SMALL HAND TOUCHES (which I'm pretty sure they had, u cannot tell me otherwise) SHE REMEMBERS E V E R Y T H I N G. REYNA KNEW THE REAL JASON AND HAS BEEN WITH HIM, THAT'S WHY SHE FELL FOR HIM. THAT'S WHY SHE'S YEARNING, THAT'S WHY SHE'S HURT SEEING THIS GUY SHE LONGED FOR COMING BACK WITH SOMEBODY ELSE. You cannot tell me that while seeing Jason w Piper, Reyna didn't recall all of the moments she and Jason had and it sucks that he doesn't remember any of it.. BUT SHE DOES. and he's happy now so what's the point or trying to ruin that, so she suffered in silence instead. I know a lot of people blame Jason for not noticing Reyna but I just now realized that it's not mainly his fault, his memories was wiped and wakes up with the idea that he's in love with someone else and settles for that. Hera and Aphrodite is just threatened by them cuz JEYNA TOGETHER WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE LET ALONE IF THEY LED CAMP JUPITER TOGETHER.

Maybe i'm the only one who'll find this funny, but no one finds out Percy is pregnant, things go on as canon except that Hera proceeds to set Percy up with Jason instead of piper (she'll have her parent–, sorry, she'll have her champions in a loving marriage damnit!), maybe she shoves the two of them in one of those high adrenaline situations where all she can hope is that those teenage hormones do their job and boom Percy is pregnant (a lot earlier than planned but someone can babysit)...but the belly is rising too quickly...must be those godly genes ig...oh, it was three of them, must be why...Why does this kid look like a mini-Apollo???

THUNDER SAGA

- Gosh, 'Suffering' is maybe probably most definitely my second fav song (after 'Thunder Bringer' ofc) in this saga. It's just so GOOD UGHH!!! I'm utterly OBSESSED with whoever voices Penelope/Siren Penelope cause they just sound ETHEREAL. Also the amount of memes with the "You know I'm too shy" is astounding. Def my fav part of the song.

- I hc that Ody, in 'Different Beast', when he said "You are no wife of mine!" that he pulled an "erm, actually-" and basically: "Nah cuz you got a few details ab my wife wrong, homie. You see, her ponytail's tips actually reach 3.5 cm lower than that, plus you got the shade of her eye color wrong. And gods she'd never wear that tunic without matching earrings!" Homie's obsessed lmao.

- Oh. My. God. KJ. KJ! THE ABSOLUTE QUEEN GAHH!!! The fucking growl Scylla had on "Give up your honor and wraith!" Made me literally almost fall over. I had a ton of fun just dancing to KJ's vocals. My GOD that's beautiful💯💯

- Tell me y'all can hear the absolute desperation in Eury's voice at the start😭 bro does NOT wanna believe his home bro Ody just gave up six men's lives like that. Also not Jay bringing back the "This is the home of the wind god" bullshit like pls I cried enough at 'Monster'😭😭 And not Eury turning Ody's words around by saying "I'M JUST A MAN!" then stabbing a cow, like HOMIE. WHY.

- Here comes Zeus the party crasher everyone! Yippee! But no, seriously, I've had 'Thunder Bringer' stuck in my head for a while cuz my boy Luke Holt's vocals be giving me shivers. Imma cry cause the absolute pain and crack in Ody's voice when he says "I know..." like,, 😭😭 Also the animatics where the crew just attacks Ody and the dude just accepts his fate are CRIMINAL. Ain't nobody asking me to cry today bro🙏🙏

WISDOM SAGA

- Gotta be my fav saga yet. The "Watchu gonna do about it, champ?" line was delivered PERFECTLY🙌🙌 Ayron is the absolute Top G. Also Miguel's voice for Telemachus is just UGHH SO GOOD!!! Also Tele be like: "STAY BEHIND ME MOM I'LL PROTECT YOU!!🤺🤺🤺"

- Let's fucking go Athena is back on track, baby! Literally LOVE both hers and Antinuos' vocals. They were ON. TOP. I couldn't help but giggle at Tele's "Woah,, that is so sick!!" Like he's my baby boy I love him smmmm!!!

- I ain't got no shit on Athena no more. Home girl's just guilty frfr. "You're a good kid." "Thanks!" AHHHH THEM>>> Anyway, great song. I love Athena now. I don't hold no grudge against her anymore, no siree. She my homie now💪💪

- WANGUI. THE LEGEND FRFR. They could never make me like Calypso but Barbara served. I listened to 'Love In Paradise' on my headphones and did not expect to hear Polites' voice in my left ear and Eury's in my right😭😭 The time-dive was LEGENDARY (haha.) and Ody's screams then him just yelling "ATHENA!!" cause he doesn't have anyone else to call for help was heartbreaking 💔

- Ahhh the fact that Jorge got his dad to voice Hephaestus is so cute <33 And Mr. PAM-PAM was right. Luke Holt's BEASTMODE ZEUS IS PHENOMENAL. I adored the transition between 'Warrior Of The Mind' and 'Legenday' after Zeus supposedly struck Athena down, which were – by the looks of the animatic shown in the livestream – the memories that got the goddess determined to stand back up💪💪 The way Ares' voice almost broke when he asked "Is she dead..?" broke me like😭😭 And whoever voices Hera is an absolute legend how the fuck is your voice that HEAVENLY😳

Also pls let the 'Silly Saga' be a thing, I had all the vids from Jorge's Disney Princess Era plus the Jimmy Neutron specials stuck inside my head non-stop for daysss🙏

Ooh and if we're lucky (and Jorge wants to ofc) maybe we'll get an album with cut songs! That would be amazing!! No pressure for the team tho, whatever they choose will be respected by everyone!

Also guys dw Athena's not dead, goddesses can't die you silly geese🙃 She's just injured n I'm absolutely sure we'll hear more of her in the upcoming Sagas! ^^
