this is Nenard Lloyde, assistant to Missus >:3 he is extremely small and extremely dedicated and is a bit cocky about his position. he's incredibly good at getting whatever Missus needs, whether it be contact with important figures, removal of competition, or information in general.

he's a purpleblood and keeps the specifies of his voodoos on the low, but he definitely couldnt do his job (or have survived on Alternia with his stature) without them. no one seems to know what they are, either. funny how that works.

he's a workaholic and enjoys the finer things in life and is definitely a bit of a hedonist. he's kind of a freak and i love him :)

Halley is the blunt and stoic secretary of famous carnival critic, Jarvis Diadem (also a Newt design), a job she seems outwardly indifferent towards. Here's a doodle I never posted lol

Like many adults with obvious mutations, Halley is only alive today because of the greed and fascination of others, and she spent most of her life bouncing around cheap circuses. Much of that movement was owed to the fact that she's not particularly flashy or expressive, but her stony disposition was ultimately what caught Jarvis' eye.

The carnival showcasing her was, according to his review, terrible, and that negative press was enough to put it under. He found her the most amusing part, though, and he nabbed her when it went belly-up. Jarvis gave her two options: work for him as a (paid) live-in secretary, or run off, no strings attached, and find something else to do.

Jarvis isn't a good person, mind you. But the way she acts is only funny if she's being treated like a person, see? And he finds her hilarious.

Halley's not a big nickname person, but Jarvis insists on calling her that and she doesn't care enough to complain. She also doesn't seem to care when he calls her a freak of nature. Maybe it packs less punch when he has the same mutation?

Hey everyone! I hope your all having a lovely day!

I'm Adara Sakamaki.

I'm a Vampire, several hundred years old - and I'm a witch!! That's right! I cast spells and brew potions and fly on broomstick. The whole shebang! I even have a Cat! - Her name is Luna and she's the sweetest Kitty ever! - But I won't melt if you splash water on me so don't try that.

Now, you may be wondering - how am I a Sakamaki? - Karlheinz has no daughters. And you'd be wrong in that assumption. Karlheinz is my father, Lady Beatrix is my mother. I was born before Shu and Reiji. But good old Karl didn't want a girl to be his first born (~because stupid politics and sexism~). So instead of raising me in our dear fucked up little family I was thrown away. They didn't want me so I was tossed away and they tried again a few years later for sons - and got Shu and later Reiji.

So - some stuff about me.....

Who raised me? Uncle Richter - he did a good job in my opinion, not the best but not the worst either.

How did I become a Witch? I had a master - someone to teach me! :)

What's my sensuality? I'm Bisexual-!

Am I in a relationship? Nope! I'm comfortably single right now!

What kind of Witch are you? The jack of all trades kind! I can do at least a little bit of every type of magic - I've had many years to study and learn after all. I'm really good with most magics too - there are only a few that are difficult to do for me.

Do I drink blood from Humans? Only if they give me permission on all fronts. I don't like crossing boundaries with the Humans I know - so if they don't want &/or consent to being bitten I won't bite. I get most of my blood from hunting animals.

What are some things I like? Magic obviously. It's amazing. I also love to do art - sketching is my favorite. Skateboarding is something I like and do a lot. I also like reading books of all kinds.

What am I afraid of? Not telling you guys, I know my father is on here and I don't trust him with that information.

okay so he HAS appeared on the blog and is on my select page, but ive never posted art or rly talked about him! so enjoy some rough doodles and infos

this is Gazijo! he's an oliveblood and he's Entomy's kismeisis. he's a bounty hunter for the empire on Alternia. he's not particularly empire-loyal, but it pays well and, shit, it's kinda fun. he typically only takes big-tickets; while he has no psionic abilities himself (to anyones knowledge) he has a surprising knack for tracking people down, and is specifically known under his work title for taking guys in alive.

when he's not out on a job, he's back at his hive, the land surrounding which he's stuck claim to and turned into a nature reserve. most of the funds he gets from his job goes back to the maintenance of it; there are a lot of non-lusii species that are native to the wetlands near his hive and not found elsewhere on the planet, and he cares a lot about their preservation, to the point where he won't hesitate to take care of intruders the fast way.

more often than not he's got his lusus on his shoulders, thipping up bugs and burping out fire while gazijo scouts his land and admires the scenery.

ARKIRO "ARCHIE" ROATUS !!

Descendant to the Restorer, Ailzea Roatus, Archie was raised by his ancestor and loves him very dearly. He also has a sister, Marrie, a puppet Ailzea created to be his friend (it was a young Archie who declared them siblings)

He's reckless and masochistic, often picking fights for the sole purpose of getting beaten up.

Those destructive habits are enabled by the fact that he has the ability to manipulate space, giving him the power to manipulate gravity and teleport, and his father can revive anyone that dies by his own hand. If things get dicey, Archie can always pop back home for a quick reset!

He has, however, been less quick to stick his nose into trouble recently, owed to the near-death experience he had at the claws of Favion Lefera, Ailzea's childhood "friend" (bully?) who was eager to get a reaction out of him.

Though Archie acts wild, he's very responsible when it comes to his church and family, and he cares deeply about protecting his people. He's hard to read, hiding behind several layers of insincerity and dirty jokes, but threatening those he feels responsible for protecting is an easy way to really piss him off.

He also really likes knives. You can usually find him spinning one.

The first line of thought that crosses Y'shua's mind as he awakens in the Sarcophagus is, 'not again.'

He moves without thinking. Arms pull violently against restraints until the chains keeping him bound go taut, groaning until they snap and shatter. Figures move in from the shadows, slow and shambling, revealing gnashing teeth and empty sockets; mindless husks that were once human beings, now left with only the basic instinct to consume.

One lunges for him. His free arm lashes out, his hand smashing into its face to hold it at bay. It gnashes its jaws as it fights against his brutal grip, the click-click-click of its teeth triggering a memory.

A dark, dimly lit hallway. A figure standing over a corpse, slanted and twitching. Calling out, approaching what he thought was an ally only to be met with dead, hateful eyes. The shock and agony of a dead thing biting into him, holding back what had once been a friend as its teeth snap mere inches from his face.

Not again.

He smashes the husk's skull against the side of his Sarcophagus, caving in its face in a smear of gore. Y'shua rips his other arm free in time to bat aside another approaching zombie with enough force to nearly rip its head off its shoulders.

He hauls himself out of the Sarcophagus, painstakingly aware of the fact that he was currently stripped bare of his armor, though he wasn't overly concerned about it. Instead his eyes were more focused on scanning the room, catching sight of a discarded pistol on the floor. He wastes no time in snatching it up and picking off the other two zombies shambling at him, leaving the room silent save for the sound of his ragged breathing, of blood dripping softly onto the floor, of the alarms endlessly blaring in the background.

He hates how haunting it is to hear those alarms. How everything is unfamiliar to him, yet screams at him with an undeniable, almost oppressive sense of deja vu. He observes the holographic recording of an unfamiliar woman, showing a once-sealed Sarcophagus surrounded by researchers in fervent prayer.

"We have to contain this," the woman murmurs.

Not again.

He steps into the hallway, where his armor awaits. Visions flash painfully in his mind's eye as the suit responds to his presence, the lingering souls of the damned curling around his fingers. Their voices sear images into his brain as he adorns the Praetor Suit; of what he must seek out, what he must do.

His thumb idly swipes over the Slayer's Mark over the visor before he pulls his helmet on, finding a brief flicker of satisfaction when the HUD shows no errors. He turns his attention to a nearby monitor, showing him a series of errors that point him in the direction of the problem; a nearby satellite array. Before he can head out for it, however, there's a ping on the screen for an incoming message.

"Welcome. I am Dr. Samuel Hayden, I'm the head of this facility. I think we can work together to resolve this problem in a way that benef-"

Y'shua promptly rips the screen off of its hinge before Dr. Hayden can finish, stomping away.

He heads down an access hallway, finding more zombies milling about. Brute strength and shots to the head put them down easily, and he only pauses when he finds an armored human corpse, pinned beneath the door at the end of the passage. The sight makes something in his heart twist painfully, but ultimately it's the shotgun that truly draws his interest. He takes the time to peel the soldier's rigid fingers off before forcing the door open, mentally grimacing when he realizes the man had been torn in half at the waist.

Movement in the rafters catches his eye. He racks his shotgun, watching as something man-sized drops to the floor in front of him. He already knows what it is, and his blood boils over with a seething hatred that's carved into his very bones. Another memory flashes before his eyes.

The paranoia and fear of roaming a facility full of walking dead, with no survivors in sight. He remembers watching something dropping down in front of him - man-like in stature, yet it radiated an aura of wrongness, of pure evil that had the hair on the back of his neck standing on end. It wasted no time in pouncing before he could pull the trigger, tackling him to the ground with an ear-piercing screech as its talons hook painfully into the meat of his arms. He remembers shouting, kicking, fighting to keep the beast - the demon - from ripping him open. He remembers the adrenaline, the sheer terror, the raw relief that washed over him when he squeezed the trigger and felt the heat of its viscera spray over him.

Not again.

The imp screeches - and he screams back at it in primal fury.

NEVER AGAIN.

Roslyn Stygin

Around 145 sweeps old (360+ years)

Roslyn is a currently active, burgundy blooded pirate captain of great infamy on Alternia's waters. A host to an eldritch horror that provides her with many unnatural, twisted abilities.

Roslyn stygin was kidnapped from her small coastal village early on in her childhood when a band of pirates pillaged it for resources. The raid was short lived and bloody; resulting in the death of her lussus, as well as the destruction of the village itself. Many of its low blood residents were captured and brought aboard alongside her.

The majority of the captives were bartered or sold off to highbloods and other ship captains not too long after. Roslyn, unfortunately, had attracted enough attention from the ship's captain for him to keep her around.

After years of serving as a slave servant aboard the ship, the captain got bored of her and decided to use her as a canary for scouting parties when looting ruins. During one of these ruin plundering runs, Roslyn was separated from her scouting party by a triggered trap.

While isolated, she stumbled upon an alter containing a charred skeleton clutching a relic to its chest. This relic seemed to called to her. A silent enthrallment that drew her in closer and closer; inviting her to take it. To undo the bindings of this disembodied voice's prison and offer herself as its host. In exchange, it would grant her strength beyond what she could ever dream for. Strength to save herself. It offered her freedom, in exchange for freedom.

With her options limited, she knew she couldn't return to the others with nothing. She accepts the deal, and takes the relic. Freeing the "thing" that was trapped within. It bonded with her body, healing her wounds and strengthening her frail body.

She returned to the ship not long after to discover the scouting party had returned. The trap she had set off had, in her absence, killed the captain's moirail who was leading the party. Blame was immediately placed onto her, and the captain ordered her execution. It was then that she activated her abilities for the first time.

She doesn't remember much of what happened that day. She remembers fear. Then blood. Hers, theirs, she couldn't distinguish one from the other afters a while. Somewhere in the chaos, that fear changed in her. Became something foreign to her. Joy. Pride. Gratification.

The next memory she had was of bodies, piled along the ship's deck. A partially eaten corpse of the once captain lay in a crumpled heap beneath her. Her face and hands were slick with violets, blues and and purples, mixing together with her murky red.

When she'd stepped onto that boat that afternoon, 79 crewman had been there. As she picked up the deceased captains hat and placed it upon her head, only 43 stood in abject horror. After all of their years of thoughtless murder and abuse, they had finally been reminded of what it was like to feel fear. To look at someone, no, something and feel powerless in gaze. All that remained dropped to their knees, pledging their loyalty to their new captain.

This was the day that Roslyn Stygin died, and was reborn again. This was the birth of The Hollowed.
