ok so i was thinking about the hippie thing where they say normies are "asleep". and i dont think that's really fair. but it does seem to me sometimes that many (most?) people arent...paying attention? or at least, not to the things i'm paying attention to. people talk about zoning out when they drive and suddenly waking at the end. and i used to do that, but i don't anymore. i pay attention, i think, i listen to music. i dont know what changed. in general i find it easy to get into a mode where i'm mostly just acting on autopilot (i start to do this wihle programming sometimes, and then the program doesnt work and i have to properly "boot up").

and this all seems...bad to me! you have a finite number of minutes, and most of the time youre not in like...pain, agony. its worth paying attention to everything youre experiencing, all your sensory information. its worth paying attention to how you think about things, and what you say, its all worth paying attention to. and it seems psychedelics shifted me into a more "paying attention" mindset

so anyway. all that is old news. you know this idea even if you dont agree with it. but it makes me think of the "dark room problem", in predictive coding theories of the brain. the idea is, essentially, that the brain is fundamentally a prediction organ, trying to minimize "surprisal", getting things wrong, being surprised by new information. but its a prediction organ that's connected to manipulators in the world. and it has certain base-level predictions hard-coded, like "i will not be hungry", and so operates to minimize surprisal by getting food or whatever.

it might be legit, real neuroscientists swear by it. but real neuroscientists swear by anything, so who knows. it has this problem, where if you want to minimize surprise, why not spend all your time in a dark room, not acquiring any new information? (there's all sorts of explanations for this, like maybe "social interaction" is one of our hard-coded predictions) and it seems to me that this "not paying attention", well...it looks a lot like a dark room! if you don't pay attention to things, you dont notice when your subconscious predictions are wrong. if your experience of the world is just a summary rather than a detailed experiencing of everything around you, then it's much easier to predict! and so one can imagine under this theory how this behavior would be rewarding, as long as you maintain satisfaction of those "hard-coded" predictions (and how curiosity is a sort of opposite urge, a monomaniacl fixation on predicting more and more details, by building a more elaborate model)

He slept with andy in s1 knowing it was against the rules and they could've broken the whole teams trust, slept with maya knowing andy would probably be hurt and let maya take all the blame for that and didnt defend her or have the decency to explain to andy himself, went out of his way to make maya feel worse for crying after Ripley died all bc he found her tears "a little distracting" and just kept going even after she told him to stop making her feel worse, threw a hissy fit the entirety of s3 at her bc he was bitter abt being dumped and had no problem ganging up on her with andy as if he wouldnt have taken the job if he was offered it, broke the code and slept with his teammates wife multiple times despite knowing she was married and then when Rigo found out he continued to lie to his face like right before he died he said he didnt know (which he did after the first time), then after being given therepy by diane and the team forgiving him very easily and he was preaching abt how he was trying to be better then had absolutely no problem helping maya self sabotage her new rl despite him knowing she was in one and that she'd been abused by her dad and threw that in her face then didnt leave when he was asked then picked her up and took her to the bunk while maya was clearly emotionally distressed, thus making the exact same mistake again after the rigo and eva situation and after treating maya terribly all season and constantly whining abt how she chose her career over him as if she ever made any promises to him or did anything with him other than hook up then SHE was one to apologise to HIM, he didnt apologise to the team for breaking the code, or to carina for getting with her gf knowing she was with her.

Then got with inara after saying he wouldnt, who was previously abused in a relationship who he helped get out of. Broke the code AGAIN in S5 by making out with vic knowing she was with theo and didnt even apologise to him and told vic she could ruin her life and that he didnt care, the writers then gave him this redemption arc with helping set up the clinic, and giving people medical care which he is literally paid to do, and stripped carina of any dignity and turned her into his fan girl with that stupid donor crap, his motivation to be it wasnt at all abt helping out his friends all his reasons were selfish then he butted into everything, literally fetishised them and was straight up just creepy, then blurted out marinas private information to the first person he next saw (andy) without permission, then ditched the station without a word after Andy's charges literally JUST got dropped and leaving marina with absolutely no warning, also bailed on marsha who has basically been a mother to him, lied abt where he was to andy for like 3 months knowing how triggering lies were for her, was blatantly rude to maya and disclosed her private info AGAIN infront of vic, didn't even apologise to her for leaving or to andy for lying all carina got was "oh sorry by the way" then went with the victim complex. Everyone on the team showed up for him and tried to help him ben, vic and carina gave him advice rigo came back from THE DEAD for him and andy constantly bent over backwards trying to help him and she was met with rudeness.

He made maya's injury all abt himself and confided in her literal WIFE abt how hard it would be for HIM to lose her then didnt even ask if either of them were okay nor did he visit maya in the hospital, then when carina came back to the clinic he followed her around like a creep trying to peer into a private cubicle then started accusing her of all sorts and gossiped abt her to ben despite knowing she was going through such a difficult time as if he has any right to criticise given his track record and used the excuse that "he didnt want the family to fall apart" and said he'd do the same with ben and miranda which is just rude and not his place anyway and also that he'd "worked hard to be back there" when he really didnt he was instantly given his job back the second it was announced that maya was injured.

When he slipped and smacked his head in 6x14 he got a concussion he still went on the call and didnt tell anyone until he literally passed out in the beanery which if he had collapsed on the call he could've hurt himself even worse or left a team member exposed in a fire and got them hurt or even a civilian. Extremely irresponsible of a paramedic then was suprised it lead to permanent brain damage. Then when everyone tried to do something nice and throw him a party he was like "they are only doing this bc they are obliged to" like seriously? People on the team are constantly there for him and he is so coddled by them. He has marsha and his sisters yet still mopes around like "I have no one who cares abt me :(" I get hes been through alot but so has everyone else they dont whine nearly as much and some dont get half as much support as he does. He has made so many mistakes and has put in the least amount of effort to make up for them yet everyone still loves him? I dont get it..

Also I think the actor is so bad. I'm sure grey is a nice person and this is purely criticising acting capabilities. I literally can't watch his scenes without cringing. In the first 3 seasons I thought he was bland and emotionally stiff then after that it looked like he was almost trying to hard as his face was constantly twitching and eyes squinting, all his sentences were stuttery and couldn't get one out without an "uhhh", also his HANDS omg I particularly noticed this in S5 and a bit in s6 (however it looked like the directors made an effort to get him to tone it down after s5) WHY is he always flailing? They're constantly moving and it doesnt look natural AT ALL and it is SO distracting. I known for a fact that makes the editors lives so much more difficult bc that's hard to edit in post..and emotional range is not good. It never has been. If you pay attention pretty much all of the crying scenes he's had he covers his eyes. There is no tears. It doesnt seem like grey is very comfortable with doing them he doesnt really do it very well imo

So I think it has been established that Killer's bones are constantly melting due to the high amounts of determination inside of him, and he'll eventually melt away and die. I think it is also mentioned somewhere that Color promises to find a way to 'fix' his soul?

I think the viable solution would be the Determination (DT) Extractor machine. In the Undertale game, in Alphys's True Lab we see the DT Extractor machine, it is used to extract DT from the human souls to be later injected into monster bodies. I wonder if we hypothetically can use this to solve Killer's perpetually melting problem? Has anyone thought of it?

(I do think there's some sort of like Sans fights animation where Killer is thrown to the DT Extractor in the middle of battle and he loses his DT. But my memory is fuzzy...)

I suppose that’s an option they could try, especially since Color said he knows a guy and perhaps he meant his AU’s Gaster, but would it work, and would it work without killing him or grievously injuring him? Is killer willing to risk the possibility of being changed yet again.

Would it do anything to his code? That’s changed now too.

He’s arguably spent more time with DT as apart of his being than without it. Is it just a part of him now?

It invaded his soul like a parasite, perhaps it’d be hard to remove at all (almost like it doesn’t want to be removed) (stage 4 is described as pure Determination. perhaps in a way its also like rejecting 4.) and any intense pain and trapped feelings would provoke stage 3 into instinctively fighting back and trying to survive.

which is ironic, considering how 3 could remember the feeling of invasion and wants the invading parasite out.

Perhaps killer’s biggest struggle in trying to ‘fix’ himself is himself. And instead he should focus on trying to heal and recover.

I imagine it’d be a strange feeling. watching your body struggle and fight against something you wanted and willingly agreed to, as if it doesnt understand that this was going to (supposed to) help.

I’d imagine this would not only bring up trauma around his soul and people touching it or injecting/extracting things in and from it; but may also bring up a whole lot of concerns about becoming weaker, unable to protect himself and worries about having to rely on someone else.

Not only do i still feel like 3-4 would cause rather violent resistance against the idea of extraction DT (one instinctual, the other because it means losing connections to chara/the player and failing the deal), and 2 wouldnt want it for the mentioned above.

1 likely would, even if it kills him and especially if it weakens him (he’s accepted death a long time ago, it’s the final rest for him, and losing DT just means freedom and less pain and less suffering for others and him he thinks), while 2 may bury his wants deep down and go along with it if it seems to make Color happy.

But of course, if Killer doesn’t seem fully on board and enthusiastic about it, Color’s not going to make him.

Btw, I see something very intriguing about the episode today.

1. Moon seems to trust Sun a lot, compared with someone who never shares anything with Sun in the past.

Okay, it's kinda hard to explain but the way I see it, Moon and Sun truly are twins. They understand each other in the deepest level and without saying anything, they still find some way to know what each other wants in some of these important moments.

We both know Sun understands Moon a lot. About what he thinks, how he works... Sun might not know about all of Moon's secrets, but it doesn't stop him from knowing exactly how his siblings feel or think in the present moment. (Like how Sun predicted that Nexus might hurt Freddy, or how Moon has a lot of back ups, or Moon's code...)

But, we forget that Moon also knows a lot of what Sun thinks. (Maybe not as much on an emotional level, but still)

That is why Moon knows Sun was lying to him about killing BM, that is why despite all the bulls Moon put Sun through, he still knows the exact words that make Sun forgive and forgive him again and again. And that's why, Moon locks Sun in the invisible cage, because Moon knows Sun will snap out of it later.

(Still not justified Moon's actions though, Moon still treats Sun like crap and gives Sun tons of trauma. But what I try to say is why Moon did that. Because in some ironic nasty mental state Moon is at, Moon subconsciously thinks Sun as invincible, the one despite everything, would never break down.)

And that is why, though Moon downgrades Sun's intelligence a lot in the past, he always counts on Sun when it comes to saving him. Moon knows what Sun's capable of, and is not afraid to use it for his own advantage.

(making Sun learn magic in the shortest ever time that I have seen to kill Eclipse v1; predict Sun will lose control and Eclipse come out to kill the Guards, never doubt Sun can kill BM, just shock that he lied to him; and the newest event, Sun saves Moon from Creator without they two even interact. )

Different from Nexus, who seems like little brother for Sun to me, who only asks Sun for help because there is no other choice.

He doesn't understand boundaries when it comes to pranking much (joking about Roxane Wolf, pushing Sun go to speed date, nonchalant sometimes about Sun's hallucinations,...);

He is kinda co-dependent with Sun when it comes to emotions levels (Almost spilled the bean that he wants to sacrifice someone for Solar, saying Sun is the light of his life, almost hesitant when Sun says he disappointed at him, seemingly only care it would hurt Sun's feeling when Sun and Moon move to the new house, asking Dark Sun to be his brother,...) and feels the need to protect Sun from everything. (Working with Solar instead of Sun, taking charge of the last blast that killed Eclipse v2, believing Sun will hurt himself for some sacrifices nonsense, care more about Sun's feeling and health than Nexus would ever be.)

Sun also takes care of Nexus more compared to Moon. (Take care of Nexus since day 1 he wakes up. Always stay on Nexus's side when they get yeet into Ruin's dimension. Knowing Nexus has some problems, and ask it indirectly without any information that tell Nexus has gone mad. (Earth has Eclipse to inform her, Monty has caught it red handed, only Sun who doesnt know anything, feel like something went wrong.)

With Nexus, it feels weird. Like there still has some disconnected between them, like they are not synced together. Sometimes because Sun gets caught too soon, sometimes because they are separated. Most of the time when they stay together, it is surprising that while Nexus is the smarter in the duo, Sun usually takes charge of talking (Eclipse v2, Ruin Monty, Creator..). And that is why it makes me feel bad because it seems like Nexus works better with Solar.

And with Moon, Sun has done a lot of dirty work for Moon, both when they were shared the same body and when they are separated. Sun is truly the brawn while Moon is the brain. Sadly that Even though they know they care about each other, They rather die than say it in others' faces, which leads to them only saying things like 'i love you brother' when they almost die. They are totally in sync with each other, and I think these are some interesting things to notice.

2. Creator seems like Sun more than Moon, although he downgrades Sun a lot.

From all the people l, I noticed that only Sun Creator never threatened to kill him. (Earth, KC, Lunar, Solar... Sure but never Sun.)

He straight up re-programmed KC when he turned good, he threatened to hurt Earth because she got in his way and didn't listen to him anymore. He wants to dismantle Lunar and seeing Eclipse like a annoying flies that he didnt pay attention too much. And today, he almost straight up killed Moon if not because of Sun.

Something strange about how with Sun, Creator always talks about how others would get hurt if Sun doesn't do what he says but not him threatened to kill Sun, not in a single episode.

(One when Creator trapped to forced checked Sun's code; and one when today.)

We can see In the episode today, due to Creator 's speeches, Moon is the one un-finished. I think in the start Creator only wants to create Sun with the KC but then he realizes Sun getting too smart may be out of control for him, so he separates the AIs into 2.

Because when Creator seemingly talks bad a lot about Sun, he just straight up doesn't care about Moon. He thinks of Moon as some obedient tools that he created and easily disposed of when it causes too much trouble. He usually called Moon as a violent beast, something can't control.

But with Sun, he seems to take some unexplained interest in him. Not in the way he can use Sun for something, but in some strange father and son relationship.

Don't believe me, okay, let me explain.

Creator called Sun's cats as his grandsons. Creator like trolling Sun because he likes seeing Sun squirm. Creator helped Sun when Moon got yeet in the portal.

(It may be because Creator has some hidden plans for Moon, but it still does not explain why he said Sun was lucky because Creator gave him a family. )

Furthermore, Creator checked Sun but not Nexus. He seems to like to interact with Sun more than Moon, and says that only because Sun is more easily manipulated and weaker than Moon.

But we both know that is not true. Sun is not afraid of Creator. Sun sasses him more times than I can tell. And he also has not threatened Creator once, but twice and maybe third times. He is also really good at reading Creator's intention, and can ask him some questions that really hit the chest and make Creator have to go away.

The relationship between their two is really interesting because it seems like to some degree, subconsciously, Creator truly thinks of Sun as his son, or at least, someone too value to be disposed of right now.

And sure, Moon has Creator's biggest ego and his intelligence, and Earth, while she is the nicest person that I know, still has a bit of ego and selfishness, (which is good for her thought, have some boundaries for herself) but Sun, I feel like there is more to tell.

Because with people Sun really hated, his tones changed. He does not stutter, or nervous. He speaks slowly, and puts his threat down as a promise and waits to see if the other is going to throw hand first or not. He is also very good at reading people, and can see what others don't see. And things he predicted often turn out to be true. (Like how suspicious that he feels at Evil Earth Dimension while Nexus seems nonchalant)

And with Dark Sun like some twist reflection of a future that Sun no longer cares about anyone. We can see how cold blood and different Sun can be. And how good at reading people and manipulating it for his own advantage Sun can be. Dark Sun and Creator share the same way of thinking, of looking at the big picture, of overlapping plans and projects.

All of these characteristics while it does not feel like they come from Creator, but from his partner, I still think some layers of Sun have Creator's trait in it. That might be the reason why Creator love to see Sun suffer so much but still be concerned if Sun truly dies.

Sidenote: Something is biting Creator's ass right now. Because he seems very eager. Wonder what will happen on July 16th

ok. northwest mansion mystery is a great episode obviously. but HERES why i think the episode would've been even better if mabel was in dippers spot!!!!!! its kinda a lot so i put it under a read more

so this episode is sort of the middle-ish of season 2 i think, right before the ford reveal!! its not a super long show anyway so theres not a ton of pacifica appearances, anyway. BUT in EVERY SINGLE OTHER PACIFICA EPISODE, her energy has been bouncing off of mabel!!! from their meeting in double dipper, to irrational treasure, to golf war; they have been established as the main dynamic here. golf war is especially important here, because this is the very first step in pacfica's redemption arc! mabel saves her in this episode, the pines give her a ride home, and it seems like pacifica is going to start being a little more understanding of mabel because she had misjudged her, hence why she was treating her so poorly. it looks like theyre gonna establish a friendship between them!

and then. they dont. they basically never interact again. because the next time we see pacifica, she goes straight to dipper in northwest manor mystery. the cold open implies that the northwests wanted dipper specifically because of his knowlege of how to deal with the supernatural but IN MY OPINION that DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE because we NEVER see dipper fighting these monsters on his own? hes ALWAYS with mabel. at the very least, i think it shouldve been BOTH of them??? we see a brief shot of a newspaper clipping where dipper is fighting a vampire bat or something and i just. when did this happen. where is mabel

that would be a fine argument for it being both of them instead of just mabel so heres one of my bigger points thats gonna come back a lot in this breakdown: dipper. does not like pacifica. he STRAIGHT UP HATES HER. every single interaction theyve had has been negative!!! its even massively negative at the beginning of this ep!!!! though mabel often dislikes pacifica, she TRIES REALLY HARD TO LIKE HER. mabel has a lot of love in her heart, and if she could, shed want to be her friend!!! its always been pacifica whos been rejecting those advances!!! golf war was the start of pacifica understanding that about mabel, and it nmm wouldve been the PERFECT time to wrap up that arc, rather than leaving it!!!

and i would argue that could STILL LEAD INTO A DIPCIFICA ARC, if thats what the showrunners/fans wanted? most of why dipper hates pacifica to begin with is because shes so terrible to mabel. he only agrees to go to the party in canon because MABEL wants to!!! imo, i think the lead in to them being a couple would be a million times better if that massive problem in their relationship was solved first

i dont PERSONALLY like dipcifica but im trying to stay unbiased about this if you cant tell

i would also argue that like. dipper just seems really out of character. the reason i picked some of the scenes i did for my redraws, was because they were scenes that i think his behavior would fit mabel a lot better. examples:

why do the northwests have a suit in dippers size anyway. he literally doesnt even like wearing it sjkfhkj in a potential re-write of this ep, i considered that mabel would come in wearing her super extravagent home made dress, and it would 'violate dress code', so she would be forced to wear one of pacificas we could still have that cute dress-up expo scene that we do AND have some fun commentary/symbolism about pacifica being nervous about having her in the dress because its NICE and TOO GOOD FOR HER and she looked FINE BEFORE ANYWAY

mabels empathy is a recurring theme in the show. shed WANT to give pacifica the benefit of the doubt, and would be VERY betrayed when finding out her and her family already knew about the ghosts and knew what he wanted. i understand that dipper was so upset because it seemed like pacifica was changing for the better just to find out that she wasnt, but i think this fits so much better with mabel, because shes always WANTED to believe that shes secretly a good person. she would be glad to see her turn a corner, and would be upset when finding out she was 'wrong', and that she really was mean deep down. whcih would obviously lead to her comforting her later/finding out the truth about her etc etc. on the other hand, dipper literally never believed she had good in her. from the first interaction we see of them, he thinks shes as terrible as her family. he ISNT as interested in giving her the benefit of the doubt and if it wasnt a life or death situation i dont think he wouldve forgiven her. IDK i just think its more in character for her

the dancing scene!!! honestly this works fine as is (i can see both dipper and mabel being excited to make a mess on a fancy carptet) but idk i just think it carries so much more weight if its these two girls. silly moments for mabel!!!! pacifica getting to really be a kid and not just a sparkly prop!!!!!!! pacifica finally indulging in her sillyness that she mocked in irrational treasure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok moving on. one of the bigger things that bother me about it being dipper here instead of mabel is one teeny tiny (honestly really irrational) scene at the party. in it, dipper is confronted by fiddleford, who tells him he has big news about the author/the laptop and the towns in danger and its vitally important and dipper just. shrugs him off???!!?!?!?! i cannot even IMAGINE. in alex hirschs words "the first season is about dipper being in love with wendy, and the second is about him being in love with the author" meaning that. those are the TWO things that dipper is completely and totally obsessed with. hes clearly not over wendy (as we see in later episodes) and this is not long after sock opera/society of the blind eye so youd THINK hed be more depserate for answers than ever!??!?! this child was willing to sell out his great uncle and raise the dead and stay up for several nights in a row for answers, and the second he is offered some (from a man who WORKED WITH THE AUTHOR btw) hes like like 'whatevr'?!?!?! it is so out of character and it drives me fucking nuts every time. i know hes starting to like pacifica now but as we see in the comics (if you chose to think those are canon) HE DOESNT EVEN SEEM TO LIKE HER THAT MUCH!??!?! hes STILL convinced shes vain, and mean, and selfish!!!! he DOES start to have a little arc with her but jksdfjksf IDK i just cant in a million years see him passing up the chance for answers to the biggest mystery in gravity falls to hang out with a girl he tolerates

but yknow who i CAN see doing that? MABEL!!!!!!!! mabel would be concerned when mcgucket comes up to her, and starts talking like this!!!! i can totally see her suggesting that he relax for a little while and enjoy the party like dipper did, and then forgetting to come back to talk/not running into him later!!!! ESPECIALLY since i can see mabel WANTING to spend time with pacifica where dipper just. really doesnt seem to want to MOST of the time

ok ill admit that this last one is sort of a personal opinion. but i just. i really dont like the B plot of this episode with mabel and the girls. IDK its just so annoying and pointless to me to have a plot where its just a bunch of girls turning against each other over a guy. im not gonna say its mysoginistic bc i know little girls can be boy crazy but i just. dont see why there was a need to make them fight/turn against grenda briefly??? even when they rekindled and it was all ok in the end its just. in comparison to the A plot its so. Nothing.

in my head i have a rewrite of this episode and how it goes is that pacifica approaches dipper and asks for help and he turns it down (like he does in canon). mabel suggests that they do it anyway, but he refuses, as he wants nothing to do with her. when dippers gone, mabel agrees to help (and pacifica begrudgingly accepts bc it seems like the only option) and so she steals the journal when dippers not looking. she goes to the party, and events go pretty much the same?? only major difference i can think of is that the B plot is replaced by one where dipper realizes mabel and the journal are missing, so he sneaks into the manor/sneaks around the house trying to find he rand get it back (and its so massive he has no luck). the reason i think THAT works is because we can even still have the scene where dipper turns to wood like shifty prophesied!!!! and i would even argue it makes more sense this way because wasnt shiftys warning that "if you keep digging so deep into the secrets of gravity falls, this will be the last form youll ever take" ?

tldr: pacifica and mabels friendship plotline was left on a total cliffhanger after golf war and if mabel replaced dipper in nmm it would've been a good resolution to it

You know Ive been thinking gender with these guys and Im kinda curious. Did the designations come before or after Jades involvement? Are the pawns split half female, half male (like the kids but seemingly arbitrarily)? What the heck would happen if a male pawn gets queened? These are the real questions yall.

Genuinely rocked my world when I saw this! So far from what we see it looks like this room also doesnt have any posters up but it Does have the drawings all over the wall except the ones here are glowing! The walls are blue instead of pink (stereotypical much?) and theres a plush Imp that kinda looks like that Jack fellow, just missing an arm and with a scar over the right eye. It doesnt escape me that the missing arm is the same left handed one as the original harlequin plush. Can you imagine having something predestined for you because icing makes terrible glue?

Dream Jade is very familiar with John but doesnt seem to be very familiar with herself. I didnt even clock it at first but this Jade still has memory problems because she doesnt use finger reminders, hands devoid of colorful bands.

Im gonna be honest, genuinely forgot that Prospit and the Dark planet do in fact have moons. I skirted around it so hard in my last post but it was so unnecessary 🫠. The first thing John makes is the result of double punching the slime ride and hammer.

This time instead of overlapping (&&) the two cards which created the POGO HAMMER, you use the two codes to double-punch (||) a blank card, producing a different hole pattern. ... Double-punching cards creates patterns with more holes, rather than less holes by overlapping cards.

Pretty neat. And now with this knowledge, John gets some fashion upgrades. First, slime shirt && suit, then slime suit || wise guy book.

Leverage Redemption Log: The Big Rig Job

Easter Weekend is over, time for myself lets continue. Big rig is US slang for one of those long-distance deliverytrucks right? --- Christmas tune on a truckstop. Its a christmass special i guess. (and here i was hoping for a break from the horrors of Christianity) Girlboss Tiktok Influencer... Ravi is fired. --- Yup, fuck the US Trucking industry, (i saw a John Oliver piece, this is all realistic, or at least it will be until the 3rd act twist that actually, the company is using the trucks to smuggle drugs/art/stolen goods)

huh, little note of implication that Parker has been visiting Hardisons family for christmass during the timeskip. (makes sense, but makes me worried about the whole "archie acknowledging Parker to his bio-daughter" thing in the last season of the OG series and how that ended up long-term)

Scrooge comparison. New Rule: When you are a long-running TV show, you are only allowed to use a given Christmass Special Reference once. You are allowed to repeat it over the course of the given episode but when you've made it you've burned it. I am sick of having every other season make a Grinch reference as a cheap "its christmass" indication. (Note: References to Scrooge are considered seperate from actual parodies of A Christmass Caroll for this rule, making a cheap reference in season 1 does not cost you the right to do a parody episode in season 5.) I will include into this a rule that your counters are all reset if you produce a single non-christian, Non-halloween special.

(which would be good news, except that the company they're selling to is one of those Vulture Companies) This also means we now know whats in the floorsafe: The real non-forged documentation. (serious question btw, if you're engaging in fraud, why keep the legitimate documents? What is the point of forging a will if you dont throw the real one in the fireplace) --- Parker's tree has harnessed the power of the sun. Harry has limited good news: There is grounds for a class action suit. (bad news: They'll have sold by then). Goal: Get YDN to not buy then sue.

Harry has done some digging: The trucks are paid off in full. Ravi does legally own his truck. --- One botnet and one Sophie later and we've got permission to bring cameras to the active crimescene. Because Paige is an idiot. (on a related note, Sophie's colleague is observant and verry worried about what might happen if Sophie slacks off. This seems like the third act twist isnt "we're smuggling weapons" but Sophie leaves post and a trucker almost dies.) Meanwhile its time for Breanna and Elliot to have some fun, (by which i mean vandalism)

Im Jamie, this is Jamie, we've heard all the jokes. (great, both as a joke and to sell the "we're real people who have lives outside of you" by pre-empting the opening you deliberately made)

Breanna clones the Ipad and we're off to the races.

"he always wanted to do lame things, like deliver toys to orphans"... And we've kidnapped Paige. --- Screwdriver, oilslick. Elliot is playing this like a Hitman Level. Breanna just smugly whiping the "89 days since an accident" sign.

Turns out, Elliot (or at least his alter ego) is not forklift certified (someone call Your Fave Is Forklift Certified) Unfortunately, Elliot and Breanna are too good at making Luke look bad and this destroys Parkers safecracking window.

--- Parker manages to steal the safe just in time before the inspector comes into the office. YDN is out (also it seems that their father was such a good person even the vultures respected him)

And as we leave we have succesfully divided. (and unfortunately not conquered, there is always another vulture and also we're like 20 minutes into the episode) Luke is faced by his two thugs. "Big Jim" is not gonna be happy (they're in deep to the mob?) --- One Day Till Christmass, Sophie is still in denial. (also i was right they are smuggling.)

Breanna suspects the thugs might be involved.

Jamie and Jamie are back and putting the camera in Thug and Thugly's faces (Which means Breanna is probably running face ID) Reframing their deliberately engineered humiliation as the start of a Rags To Riches fantasy. Good one.

And Elliot is planting the seeds of paranoia (honestly strange Elliot didnt get fired by Luke yesterday) The farm upstate, its always the farm upstate. --- Janice has abandoned Sophie to check out a christmass present in the loading docks.

Good news: Sophie has found a potential new person to be "in charge" after they oust Luke and Paige. Bad news: They left dispatch unatended and I wouldnt be suprised to find out a truck just crashed. Ah right, the dads name is Nick, like Santa. How could i take this long to notice. (In hindsight Elliot said as much, but i thought he was just making fun of the beard) --- We're back with Harry and Parker, and Paige's open willingness to confess to her crimes on camera to what she believes to be a nationwide audience.

Luke has a gambling problem (he loves the horses about as much as Paige loves the bags). Im almost a bit sorry for Paige. Guns are in the crate that the toys are in.

Elliot gives a goon a crowbar just so he can make the goon hit himself with the crowbar.

guns are in the toytruck (I dont really care? He's not delivering the guns he's moving them away from the cameras. These guns are not gonna be used and while toys for orphans are good they're a cherry on the cake)

Breanna is in the truck (ok i care about that) --- Turns out he is delivering the guns. Sophie tells Janice whats been happening (wait, why are you English? 8.75/10)

Oh she's using the handbags to smuggle the guns? Clever girl. --- Paige threatens to tattle on the thugs (and it seems to work)

I'll be honest, this jump seems more like a Parker thing then an Elliot thing. But i think its just a case that Parker could not believably fail this jump (jumping off stuff is sort of her specialty) so she's been chained to a driverseat to make an excuse for the scene to have some tension.

Two guns in a luxury sedan vs Elliot in a big rig truck. This is just not a fair fight. Wait elliots truck has SPIKES ON THE WHEELS? WHY DOES THE CHRISMTAS TRUCKS HAVE SPIKES ON THE WHEELS? --- Back from commercials, Elliot puts a half-unconcious Luke in the driver seat and calls the cops Meanwhile Breanna finds a childrens chemistry set in the christmas presents (like stealing candy from a gun-smuggling baby) Paige doesnt even get to be present for the big bust (turns out, using a Personal Brand to smuggle guns is kind of incriminating) --- Final Denoement ensues, handing presents out of of the back of the truck. (but seriously, why does the truck have wheelspikes? They didnt even matter to the chasescene choreography but it had WHEELSPIKES? Why does the Santamobile have James Bond Villain-car features?)

Bored and in the middle of procrastinating, then i got a silly idea to make a (not so) tierlist of a3 x hsr combo like what would a3 boys' path would be. Also to make this blog looks more alive xoxo

There are two types here. Left is their path as playable characters (aka ur standard dps/support/survival units), right is their path as in mindset/philosophy/religion/you name it.

Ofc this is all headcanons of mine and what i personally think about them. Gotta admit im getting rusty with their characterizations since ive been in a very long a3 dormancy... Im most confident with my assesment towards fuyu, then haru, aki close second to haru, and im least confident with natsu (sorry natsu peeps). And surely there are very stereotypical takes i put here

Elaborations or thoughts-behind-the-screen under this

First off, the game mechanic path:

I think i based this one on a mixed consideration of physical prowess + tendency when doing something, like manifestation of thoughts, or so they say

Destruction trio, ofc we all know their physical strength. Guy is like default dps in my head and i feel like his mechanic can be somewhat blade-like (im projecting two of my faves here, if im not obvious enough). Misumi reminds me of yunli with her parry kits, idk it just seems so misumi. Juza can be any destruction unit available in game rn, like hes canonically the most feared delinquent in that area around ouka and even the neighbouring districts.

Erudition trio, the aoe dmg dealer. First off homare because this absolute theater kid with extravagant flair and movements proven in anime and stage will just make me scream erudition. You cant tell me he isnt hitting all 5 mobs in one go with his kit. He reminds me of argenti so much. Sakyo deals with the five aki brats on daily basis so you know the gist. Also his kit being able to do aoe is in line with his efficiency-centered ass. Tenma is very loud /pos, and such a center of the show being an established actor himself, i feel like erudition unit fits him because he can deal with many people at the same time (im blabbering here, forgive me tenma stans)

Hunt quartet here, i feel like they dont need much explanation. Chikage hisoka masumi and banri seems very befitting as one-target dps/nukes, focusing on one hard hitting move per turn, good with enemies who dont do summons. Their physical prowess is made for that, me thinks

Abundance trio, well what more can i say. I mean i know omi is in akigumi but i feel like hes so gallagher coded dont u think. A buff guy can be a healer guys wink wink. Hes quite a pacifist guy in the roster and the fact that he cooks, simply healer. Sakuya my brightest sun my lovely son, it is just canonical that he has healing aura to everyone and everywhere. Same goes with muku!

Nihility quartet or dare i say line up of my favorite people /j. But like ofc, these people may not be the hardest hitting unit in the game but they provide debuffs and dots to the enemy. Very befitting of how these people, azuma tsumugi yuki and citron, behave in the stories. I would split tsumugi yuki as pure debuffer (dmg taken, def shred, etc you name it) unit, while azuma citron as dots sub dps (small initial hits, but they will k you over the time)

Harmony quartet, there are various reasons. Wan wan combi seems befitting with the roles of buffing and cheering their team up. Azami sure buffs too but with less cheers than the wan wan combi lol. And itaru would love to just provide buffs without needing to hit that much. He just loves to put workload to others if he could, doesnt he

Preservation trio, aka people with so much patience and resilience (i made it up). I know tasuku feels like that big bad buff guy who can hit you hard, but like personally hes a pacifist guy yknow. He can hit if he wants to but problem is ge doesnt want to. Thus i think this gym bros physical potential then can be utilized as shield more, like this guy got high def to shield his teammates. Hes just like gepard if u think about it... Anyways kumon also has good physical prowess being a baseballer himself. Im very ignorant when it comes to baseball and its terms, but well i feel like since he has a high mental and physical resilience as well he fits being a shielder. Tsuzuru, boy, he has 9 siblings. I think thats enough reason.

Onto the path as their base philosophy/religion/mindset/whatever terms throw it here:

This one is based on, as ive stated, mindset or philosophy that bases their action. Their idealism, of sort. Or aspects of themselves that may not be always visible/present. This one is harder istg this is like forcing me to do a character study. Anyways.

Erudition banri and guy. I feel like its just befitting of them. They may not be voluntarily choosing to follow Nous, like probably the intelligentsia guild. Theyre probably more like people who got the gaze of Nous instead. Since banri literally excels in everything he does, i go with the interpretation that he might be able to gain Nous' gaze, if this aspect of him is elevated inside the hsr universe. Guy is canonically smart as well and his early element being "of an android" reminds me of screwllum, if hes not a robot and just someone who thinks he is when he isnt. Like doing complicated mental math? Thats sexy and brainy and amazing and sexy and- gets dragged off the stage

Preservation duo... Also fits their game mechanic path... Well i guess. I mean again, their mental endurance seems befitting of a qlipoth followers. It doesnt have to be so devoted like they could be like regular belobogians. Obvs not ipc like fuck that imperialist institution okay /hj

These two father-son hunt duo, also befitting of their game mechanic. Obvs im taking the pattern of chikage's organization and revenge for august. Meanwhile masumi is a bit of a reach here since he couldve been an atheist/not following certain path. But im using the lone wolf interpretation of their characters that just wanders around the galaxy to help those in need and to uphold justice whenever they could

Now talk about nihility "follower", well as you guys already know, there is no such thing as IX's followers since the concept of nihility itself doesnt allow for such possibilities. But then again IX's gaze befalls anyone anywhere no matter how much they want to avoid it. I think of them three as doctor of chaos instead, those who have seen the despair, the nothingness, the futility���yet they want to prove there is still meaning behind it all, in everything IX deems meaningless. Tasutsumu and their fallout and their view on things they valued (godza and acting). Meanwhile juza have a lot of nihilist view about himself as well, but still want to change or be able to do better despite whats given in him

Yet another congruence of philosophy and mechanic, omi and muku is just abundance. As we all know the antagonization of abundance/yaoshi is just a xianzhounian propaganda led by lan guys /j. Ofc as we all know too aeon and their path merely represent a basic concept that is neither wrong or right, good or bad, just or unjust. I just think that omi and muku have that gentleness, altruism, benevolent nature. Not to say this in the naivety kind of way, but well the gentleness persist despite that many violence and turbulence that happened

Harmony guys yeahhh. Ofc the artists, the performers, those who wants to unite people with their art. Saur penaconian. They simply loves the harmony of the diversity, of many different colors

Now sakyo is the sunday of the previous trio /j. But idk i mean he could be a pathless type of person. Hes still a very orderly person and maybe despite not being so devout, he follows the path of ena like secularly. Meh, hes very much into order in canon as well we can see

Elation duo aha. Well, misumi is just a force of nature untamable and he is simply seeking joy (read: triangles) in everything he sees. Meanwhile itaru sure loves joy of playing video games amirite itaru. His laziness truly can land him in nihility but that would be too depressing. Again, they are truly the joy seeker

Trailblazer duo yeaahh. To seek of the unknown, to trail a path never been discovered before, to broaden the horizon. Seems so very sakuya and citron. Their trailblazing spirit is just so strong

Enigmata duo of the two most mysterious people in mankai company /j. I mean they both can be a follower of remembrance as well, since the motives of past and memories are very strongly present in their characterization and stories. Since enigmata and THEIR followers, by lore, are treated akin to Nanook and Anti Matter Legion, so like defo antagonist. So if we want a more friendly approach, memokeeper hisoka and azuma sounds befitting as well.

Last but not least, idrillas follower. Have i told you that argenti reminds me a lot of homare (or vice versa). Yeah. Like ofc homare the appreciator of beauty in the universe, the ever so gentlemanly knight, his name literally means honor yall. Homare is just knight of beauty coded. Meanwhile yuki and azami, well very stereotypical but hey they do appreciate beauty in every forms. They may not be part of knights of beauty and idrilla is long gone/disappeared, but their faith in beauty can persist

Alright i guess thats all i currently remember about these categorization. Ofc again this is just my headcanon and interpretation of the characters and lores in both games. I had fun (and suffer a bit) in making these crossover of my favorite medias. I just need to dump my thought somewhere, and my twt acc is not looking good haha. So here i am.

grian snacking on Card Game Rage might even be a good long term thing as part of getting him to eat better, like, instead of limiting himself to just positive emotions he might realize there's a wide array of ethically sourced negative emotions including but not limited to "frustration at a contraption not working", "ARGH MOB", Card Game Rage, etc and there's a wide array of events other than MCC he can poke his head into for a meal

Oh!! So actually, this is something i want to mention about Watcher feeding habits and how they work, because i dont think i really expanded on this in any of my other posts laying out the lore and mechanics and whatnot

So when a Watcher feeds, its actually less about the emotions and more about the hertz frequency those emotions are occurring at on the electromagnetic spectrum. Beta brain waves hit around 18-35 Hz, which is about the hertz frequency that Watchers can "feed" off of as well. In truth, its less "feeding" so much as it is resonance. Watchers have very brittle code that takes a lot of time and energy to shape, and a lot of maintenance to keep from falling apart. Where Player code is super flexible and tends to repair itself just fine, Watchers have to resonate with a certain hertz frequency to repair their code manually. This hertz frequency basically happens to coincide with beta brain waves in Players, which in turn is related to high intensity emotions and agitation in the brain.

Watchers can "bump" this frequency slightly by a few hertz, and then keep their prey at that level of agitation for extended periods of time while they repair their code. Anxiety becomes a panic attack that goes on for hours. Irritation becomes rage that wont stop. Excitement becomes a manic high. The problem with feeding on one person, or even just a few people at once, is that it will quite literally fry their brain-- this is why Watchers tend to bring together larger groups of people, agitate their brains a bit (the effect is lessened over a large group of people), and feast on the resulting frequencies all around them.

So in truth, Grian feeding on Doc's rage would actually enhance and lengthen it, which is both dangerous for him, and everyone else around him. This is why Grian was so hardcore about only feeding on "positive" emotions-- putting together some silly events or fun games and then stirring their brains up is a little less dangerous¹ for everyone (but especially them) than making them all very scared, very sad, or very angry. That, and he loves them-- he doesnt want them to hurt. The fact that he fed on their suffering in the Life games quite literally haunts him.

¹ obviously, mania is its own problem, can be just as scary and dangerous, and has its own potential for terrible accidents-- but this is being written from Grian's pov, who views it as the lesser of two evils. The point of this au ofc is that its a terrible, horribly messy situation where there are no clear cut answers, solutions, or faults; Grian has a right to his own survival, and the hermits have a right to not get their brain chemistry altered without their knowledge or consent. So while it might seem like the things you mentioned are ethical choices, the truth is that if Grian were to feed on them, he would be extending and enhancing those emotions to an extreme degree-- hence why he tried so hard to only feed off of positive ones, and why MCC was a good feeding option in his mind bc emotions are already very high during those games, and few people are gonna notice their adrenaline pumping while they're playing or cheering their fave on.

(Altho, something i havent mentioned yet is that i HAVE come up with an eventual solution for him. And ironically enough, Doc is the one who makes it. I dont want to spoil it too much yet tho, so just know i do have something in mind that will help him get back home<3)

Hi everyone how are you doing?

I know i made a post like this recently but the situation is getting tough again... basically my partner who has a lung condition and can't work right now due to covid (that is still going strong in latin america and many other 3rd world regions, pls dont forget about us) and I are facing problems paying for expenses like rent, food, medication, etc... (you can read more about it here) besides that, I'm unemployed and attending a public college but only have my phone to keep up with classes (that are online), i got a hand-me-down notebook that seems to be very good but that currently doesnt work because its hard drive is broken and needs to be substituted... this is its diagnostics on Dell website:

Sorry i couldnt change the language on Dell website but it's saying that the problem is classified as a critic problem and the error code is 151

So in order to use it i'll need to substitute the hard drive which should be around the equivalent of $80-100 usd. Computer parts are very expensive here bc everything is imported so it's a lot of money... but having a working laptop would really come in handy

so im coming here to ask that if possible please consider donating, we're in a tough spot and since our country's currency is really devalued internationally, so any amount helps us, really, even if we cant pay the hard drive price full, any amount helps us a lot!!! Honestly we're accepting any help we can get, even a dollar helps!!! ARIES-  they can be really funny. if manifested well, can be quite open and down to earth about emotions, don’t really think about how someone may take their emotions, they just express it. manifested badly, they may just constantly show annoyance and if you try and ask if they’re okay they just get pissed at you and insult you. they do notice when somethings off, and do aim to comfort you. they’re not the best at comforting but they do really try.

TAURUS- doesn’t open up, and very good at diverting the conversation off them onto you, without you getting suspicious. if you’re close may tell you some things, but is very wary and doesn’t want you to know everything. usually doesn’t really care about their reputation (obvs that may change with other placements), and laughs when something messes up, not in a rude way though. actually likes comfort but doesnt show it (i have a guy friend w a taurus moon and whenever i tried to hug him at first he’d always tell me to fuck off, but a few mins later would say ‘go on then, but i wont hug back’ and now probs after 1 month of that he now hugs back)

GEMINI- doesn’t open up, like ever (unless water influences elsewhere). always acts like everything’s fine, makes humour out of their problems, and laughs it off. lovely person though, there for you and will always listen and try to help. may blow the problem up in their head.

CANCER- emotions are a new level. seek comfort and nurture, and depending on other placements, it could be a range of people. they’d do a lot to fit in, and i think basically the tiktok sound ‘i just wanna be appreciated’ sums them up. my friend has a crush on a guy with this placement and he didn’t want to be a ‘simp’ so he unfollowed her and stuff, but he is always looking at her, and seems to actually care. i feel like they have to have a hard shell to protect their emotions. 

LEO- so so so so funny. HATES loosing arguments. also can be super petty. loves attention, may try and get it through emotions. needs to be liked by everyone. also loves arguments, and may start them just to spice everything up. the type of person to leave a groupchat cus its ‘boring’ but gets added back soon after.

VIRGO- idk the accuracy but i think they are quite emotional people. they don’t like people seeing them cry, but they are open about it. sometimes they can be attention seeking through it and sigh a lot until someone asks what’s up, and can be passive aggressive, but actually quite okay people.

LIBRA- they’re really sweet people. from what i’ve seen, guys with this placement are VERY respectful, and all round lovely. everyone i know with a libra moon are really sweet and sacrifice theirselves for other people. they’re honestly so sweet and will comfort you well, they also give very good advice. 

SCORPIO- i only know one person with this placement, and even then idk if its libra or scorpio but imma go ahead. they seem to hide emotions a lot. like always have the same straight face with the people they’re comfortable with, then be all full of life for anyone else. they are very pretty and magnetic. very mysterious. also AMAZING at listening in to conversations without looking like they are so be very wary

SAGITTARIUS- really doesn’t like feelings, pushes them down further and further. uses an alternate reality as an escape technique. when they do let out feelings it comes out very quickly, and it can be too much and make people quite uncomfortable and speechless. they sort of loose control of what they’re saying about their emotions. they always regret opening up. they love being complimented and treated nice and lovingly, they just don’t always know how to respond to that.

CAPRICORN- (ive only found this placement with guys) they feel the need to be masculine, and HATES coming across as feminine, but they all seem to give off a gay vibe. like the sort of guy who still wears a football kit to school in freshman year (year 10). likes the attention they get from people. usually pretty funny too. if they want to speak to you, they sometimes don’t want to seem like they care about you, so they tease you to start a conversation (if you have a water moon i rlly don’t recommend hanging around with them). they also seem pretty magnetic to each other and have long friendships.

AQUARIUS- very logical about emotion, doesn’t really show it. you will very rarely see these people cry. also they might be good with coding and stuff like that.

PISCES- very sensitive. sort of need everything to go as they visioned it. very sweet and caring, may never want to say anything bad about anyone. understands everyone is going through their own problems. puts others before themselves. goes quiet when sad. may be upset for attention at times. mostly sees the good in people.

(Y/N’s POV)

I’m going to do it, I’m going to make the eye deal. I think to myself while I’m trying to force myself to sleep. I’ve had the death note for some time now, just killing people for fun but it’s getting hard when you don’t know people’s names.

My shinigami, Midora keeps offering me the eye deal. I get shinigami eyes that can see everyone’s names and life span and in return I give up half of my life. I don’t want to be old anyways.

As I continue to think I hear the voice next to me start to speak, “Y/n what are you thinking about?”. “Nothing Near, it’s okay go back to sleep” I say to him.

Near is my boyfriend. We’ve been dating for awhile now and the problem is that Near is investing Kira. Kira is a serial killer who’s killing criminals with a death note but no one has found him yet. Near also doesn’t know I have one of those notes too.

“Y/n you’re definitely thinking about something. I know you and you have trouble sleeping when you’re deep into your thoughts. Come here” he says and lifts up the blankets offering me to move closer to him. I do just that and he wraps his arm around me.

“Y/n don’t worry about anything and just sleep, okay?” “Okay, love” I reply and kiss his forehead let myself relax in his arms. Near is really adorable, I can never hurt him. I eventually fall asleep.

I wake up in the morning and I notice Near is already awake. “Good morning y/n!” he says and I reply.

“I’m going to meet the SPK today, so you’re going to be home alone. Are you okay with that?” he says. “Yeah, I’ll be fine” I reply smiling.

Near gets ready and leaves and I decide to talk to Midora. “So y/n, have you made a decision yet” they ask me. “Yes” I tell Midora. “Ooooo what is it?” their harsh, raspy voice says. “I’m going to do it. I want to make the trade” I say. “Are you sure y/n?” Midora asks me. “Yes” and then it’s done.

I thought it would be painful but it wasn’t. I feel no different. “Haha y/n! Let’s go test them out” says Midora and so we leave.

Once we’re outside I see everyone’s names that’s walking on street. With their names there’s also a combination of numbers at first I didn’t understand the numbers and all of sudden I know exactly what they mean, it’s that person’s remaining lifespan.

I hide in a corner and pull out my book, constantly checking if anyone can see me. I see my first target, a tall white man with dark hair wearing a suit. His name is Alex Lee. I write his name down and also write “car accident” and then a car loses control and hits him and he’s instantly dead. I love my eyes.

“Alright Midora, that’s enough fun for now. Let’s go back” I say. And we make our way back home.

(Near’s POV)

After a long day with the SPK I come home and notice Y/N has noticed I was home yet. They’re probably at their desk working on the case. I decide I should sneak in and surprise them.

I slowly walk to the room and slightly open the door and I see something that I wish isn’t true. I see y/n watching the news and writing names down in a notebook. Y/n has one of those murder books! They’re also writing multiple names down when when there’s only 2 showing on the tv.... they must have those powers that changes your eyes. I’m in shock right now I don’t know what to do.

I quietly close the door and go into my toy room. This is the only place that makes me feel safe. I grab a puzzle and start working on it to help me with my thoughts. Could y/n really be using that book? They couldn’t be, right? I stop trying to convince myself that what I saw was fake. Y/n has a notebook and has powers. I can’t say anything to y/n, I’ll have to figure out a way to catch them.

(Y/N POV)

All of a sudden I hear Midora giggle. “What is it?” I ask. “Haha.... He saw you” she says. “What? Who? What are you talking about Midora?” I ask. “Near, haha, he saw you using the book and your new eyes” says Midora. “What? When?”, “Just now, he came in and saw you” she says.

I’m freaking out and start to cry. “Midora, what am I supposed to do?” I ask. “Kill him, kill Near” she laughs again. “That’s not funny, I’m not going to kill Near. I love him!” I say, angrily.

“Well y/n, you know he won’t approve” she says. That’s true, Near wouldn’t understand what I’m doing. I can’t kill him. I rather die then know that he’s not alive anymore. I realize what I must do, I’ll have to run away.

I grab only my notebook and take off, I’ll have to move to a city far away from here and never see Near, my love, ever again.

(Near’s POV)

After solving my puzzle I come to the conclusion that I must confront y/n now. I love them and I want to understand why they are doing this. 

I get up and start to walk to the room y/n was in. Before I open the door I get nervous and start playing with my hair, something I’ve been doing forever anytime I get nervous.

I open the door and I don’t see them. I call for y/n all over the house and nothing. All of their stuff is here except them.Y/n is gone and I’ll never see them again.

(Y/N POV, Time skip)

It’s been years since I first got the notebook, I also moved to a new city a few  years ago as well. I don’t remember why but I want to move back to the last city. It is getting pretty boring here and I haven’t used my book in awhile. 

Once we get there, Midora says she wants to go shopping and we find a street filled with little shops. One that catches my eye is a little toy shop. We both go in and I notice it is not that busy. 

I was too busy admiring all the little toys that I accidentally bump into someone. 

“Oops, sorry” I say and turn to look at them. The person I bumped into was a short, white haired, pale man, who seems about my age but there is something childlike about him. He also seems somewhat familiar. 

The man just stares at me. He’s probably mad at me but it was an accident. “Hey, I’m very sorry about that” I say to him and then turn around and start walking away.

“Y/n....?” I hear him say. I turn back to face him. I’m in shock. How does he know my name? I don’t know him.

“Umm ya? Do I know you?” I ask the man. “Huh? You don’t recognize me? Has it really been that long that you’ve forgotten about me?” he says. “It’s me, Near”.

Near? I look at him and his name is not Near. Above his head I read “Nate River” not Near. Maybe it’s a code name he’s using, I know some people were doing that when Kira was around and maybe he still is using it.

“You’ve changed y/n, you look so different” Near says to me.

“I’m sorry Near, I don’t know you and I don’t know how you know my name” I say. I hear Midora laugh and Near’s face just changes. He seems very upset and disappointed. I feel bad for the guy but I honestly don’t know him.

I turn away again and try leaving. I must go, this is honestly scary.

I feel something grab my arm and I turn around again. Near has grabbed me. “Perhaps this will help you remember” he says and then all of a sudden he kisses me and something in me kisses him back and it worked. I remember everything. He still loves me after all this time. After what I’ve done to him.

“Near....” I say and hug him, and I will never let him go.

I have never written for Near before this was interesting, would you like me to continue or turn this into a multi chapter fanfic? There’s so much I could do with this topic, so let me know :)

So its Pride Month! And as a proud member of the alphabet mafia I wanna give my opinion on all the Danganronpa characters' sexualities! So let's go, starting with THH!

Trigger Happy Havoc

Makoto Naegi- Pansexual. I'm under the belief all protags are Pan. Transgender(ftm). So I have this whole hc that the reason his door was jammed was that the lock was quickly removed when they found out SHE was actually a HE and I just like the hc lol.

Sayaka Maizono- Straight. I just think she has a big thing for Makoto, but other than that she cares for her career more than a relationship.

Leon Kuwata- Bisexual, heavy female leaning. I ship him with Hiro, but honestly this fucker would probably take forever to admit he likes guys.

Chihiro Fukisaki- Gay. Dont really have a reasoning. Just my opinion lol

Mondo Oowada- Bisexual. He mentions trying to confess to girls, but come on. This guy is fruity for Taka.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru- Gay. This dude meanwhile is just straight homo. He's probably closeted in fear it would bring shame to his family name again.

Hifumi Yamada- Straight. I honestly dont think about the guy enough to give this enough thought, but the way he simps over Celeste proves he likes girls at least. Plus he kept calling Alter Ego she, so...yeah.

I also dont really have a reason for thinking they're asexual? I just think they are. But they're probably panromantic in order to fit their talent better.

Teruteru Hanamura- Pansexual. He's so painfully pan. He even says his options are, and I quote, "pretty open." Dis bitch gay.

Mahiru Koizumi- Lesbian. Dont think I gotta explain myself.

Peko Pekoyama- Bisexual. She's totally dating Fuyuhiko, but I can see her having small crushes on other girls.

Hiyoko Saionji- Lesbian. Also dont think I need to explain myself.

Ibuki Mioda- Bisexual. RAGING bisexual. Also I can honestly see her being Gender Fluid as well.

Mikan Tsumiki- Bisexual. She honestly needs therapy more than she needs a relationship, and she probably doesnt really understand her own labels completely, but I think shes bi.

Nekomaru Nidai- Bisexual. Homeboy was a little TOO eager to be rubbed down by Teruteru 😏 Just kidding, though I do think Nekomaru is bi. No real reason honestly

Gundham Tanaka- Bisexual. He obviously has a thing for Sonia, and in a perfect world(i.e. my perfect world) he would be holding hands with Kazuichi daily. Speaking of holding hands he basically breaks Hajime's in the FTEs. Gay 🥰

Nagito Komaeda- Gay. He's very obviously gay coded, mostly towards Hajime though I dont personally ship that.

Chiaki Nanami- Pansexual. She loves everyone equally. Honestly she probably doesnt put too much work on her labels and would probably go by any pronouns as well, so maybe Gender Fluid?

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu- Bisexual. Like Leon I think it would take him a while to accept he likes guys, and he probably leans towards girls more, but he's definitely fruity lol.

Sonia Nevermind- Pansexual. Our girl fucks. She dont care who, she just FUCKS. 🤣 But seriously, I think she just sees love as love. As she should.

Kazuichi Souda- Gay. Transgender, (ftm). He's so very closeted, so badly even he doesnt recognize it. He probably even has internalized homophobia, probably because of his father. Not sure why I hc him as trans, I just think it fits.

Akane Owari- Straight. She probably doesnt think about it much. All she knows is she likes fighting, meat, and Coach Nekomaru.

Shuichi Saihara- Pansexual, Transgender(ftm). Its. THE RULE. I didnt make it. Sue me. Also fuck it I dunno I think it fits with his whole character if he were trans. Hard to explain lol

Rantaro Amami- Biromantic, Asexual. I admittedly dont know much about Rantaro, but from what I do know, I think he would fit well with just about anyone. I dont have much of a reason for him being Ace.

Kaede Akamatsu- Pansexual. She was the protagonist first, so the rule still applies lol. But even beyond that it just fits her. Hard to explain, it just seems like it works.

Ryoma Hoshi- Straight, Asexual. I know on my ship list I said I shipped him with Gonta, but theres a reason that ship was so low. I heavily think Ryoma is straight. It's just the vibe I get from him. Maybe hes bi curious, but idk. As for the ace bit, it's really dark. I hc it's because of the trauma he endured during prison.

Kirumi Tojo- Lesbian. Idk I look at her and I think "Lesbian power. Powerful wlw moments." Dont ask me my brain just does things.

Angie Yonaga- Pansexual. She always seemed like she was flirting with Himiko and lowkey Tenko, and in the FTEs she straight up wants to get married to Shuichi so like....I dunno what you want me to say.

Tenko Chabashira- Lesbian. Literally no explanation needed.

Korekiyo Shinguji- Pansexual. Putting aside the....obvious....he finds all of humanity beautiful, so he most likely doesnt have a preference when it comes to choosing a partner. Just like with Mukuro we pretend that entire plotline never happened.

Miu Iruma- Pansexual. I see her as pretty open to everyone....Yeah. That's all I got.

Gonta Gokuharu- Bi-curious. Honestly I dont think Gonta knows what he is himself. He probably hasnt given it too much thought, if hes given it any. The best I can think of is bi-curious, assuming hes currently exploring his sexuality.

Kokichi Ouma- Gay. I dont ship him with anyone cause I personally think he'd be a bad partner to anyone he got with based off of his personality, but yeah. He gay lmao.

Kaito Momota- Pansexual. THE LUMINARY OF THE STARS IS FOR EVERYBODY! Probably took a while for him to admit he wasnt straight, but then he admitted it with his whole heart, precious thing.

Tsumugi Shirogane- Straight. Fuck I dunno I dont think about her in a positive light enough to care. Sorry I really tried 😅

Kiibo- Panromantic, Genderfluid, Asexual. Like Imposter, I've called Kiibo he all the time, including every story I put them in, but technically they have no gender. So that does make them nonbinary, but at the same time it leaves the opportunity for them to go by any pronoun they want, so I hc they go by all of them lol. I also think they just love everyone, and for the ace bit, unfortunately, robots probably dont have dicks 😔 Even if they did, I dont think he would be very interested in sex.

Himiko Yumeno- Lesbian. Despite her treatment of Tenko, her reaction at the end of chapter 3 shows she cared for her, and Angie. She probably loved them both, so, lesbian for sure.

Maki Harukawa- Straight. Kaito was probably her first ever crush, so I doubt she ever had a chance to feel out if she was anything other than straight. Even disregarding that, I dont think she'd be anything else.

Alright and those are my headcanons for all the Danganronpa characters! As a bonus, I think Komaru Naegi is a Lesbian! No real reason other than Tokomaru is top tier lol.
