genuinely don't understand how media, especially kids media, tackles bullying. bc at first it clearly hurts the victim and destroys their self-esteem. but then for some fucking reason the media will be like "oh no but they bullied you bc they like you!" or "bc they are abused at home!" or "they're bullied too!". and like. the entire bullying ceases to exist later on when the bully is friends with the victim or worse, when they start dating. "you just have to know them better!" "they care deep down!"

ive been thinkin about it today and ngl i am not personally interested in envy being a point of contention in leo and donnie's relationship unless it goes equally extreme on both sides, both of them yearning for the each other's particular confidence in their strengths while failing to understand completely that its just one big coping mechanism and not something that should be envied at all. not twins in the way that they complete each other and need the other to feel whole, but in the way that they always feel incomplete no matter what they do, always secretly undervaluing what they have already, and the other has everything they want to feel worthy as a person. i ESPECIALLY enjoy this dynamic if this is contrasted with them being extremely caring and supportive of each other even as they feel stuck in each other's shadows..... so much drama can be derived from the idea

Every now and again I'll see someone in the mcyt fandom ask "should I tag this as shipping if this is a clip/irl relationship/what have you?" and obviously I know the original point of the shipping tags is for them to be blocked by people who don't want to see fans talk about the characters/creators that way, and they don't know what to do when the creators themselves are responsible for the content in the post, but 1.) tags work both ways; tag it for the people who do want to find it, too, and 2.) the question so often comes off as "does it count as shipping if it's canon 🤔?" which, as kindly as I can put it, is stupid. Obviously it's still shipping if it's canon.

Just to make sure we're all on the same page, in story node 4 of 8 the writers have Laios &co eat tainted meat and become corrupted into Collapsals, a process that we understand to be both irreversible and lethal. (While cheery lazy-days music plays, no less.) And then in the next scene they're... completely fine. Well they're now stuck in a painting, but there's nothing at all explaining how or why they're not faceless zombies shambling around the icefields.

And then they do the same thing later on with eating (raw!) Seaborn flesh, which we know transforms you into a Seaborn from even a single meal. But they face no consequences, and there's nothing saying how or why that's the case, they just... end the scene and forget it ever happened.

I don't know. For a collab with a manga known for its worldbuilding detail, this event seems oddly flaky on Arknights lore, or just coherent storytelling in general. It's disappointing that it doesn't really seem to showcase the strengths of either series.

I feel the need to clarify that the second one would have some bits but not all, for example, Sniper would still say 'like' in the second while the third it would graduate to 'loike' or 'awlright' versus 'alright.' If you need another example I feel like in the second one Engie would say 'Spy' and the third he'd say 'Spah.' Medic or Spy's accents would have their 'vhat' or 'zhem' now and again in the second option but not a constant replacing of the sound like in the third, more of a hint toward an accent than a full phonetic spelling. Personally, I'm a fan of the second. Too much phonetics makes it impossible to read but it really don't feel like proper TF2 without a 'dinnae' or two thrown in the mix.
