More thoughts about that psychic connection.

I know I've talked about the "psychic connection" between Lydia and Betelgeuse before, but since I'm a sucker for such soulmate links between characters, I thought I'd write a little more.

It's all speculative, and that might have been just a fun line for Betelgeuse to say there, adding to how hopelessly in love the poor guy is with Lydia. But what if they do share a connection?

In this post I want to speculate a little about how this connection formed between them, and when, and what it may mean.

If there is such a connection between them, I think it formed after their wedding in the first movie. Hear me out, the ceremony was basically complete; they just needed to be pronounced husband and wife, when Barbara showed up with the sand worm. So I believe there was a soul link between them that was being formed that night, which remains, although half-formed, until this day.

This ritual would have made it possible for Betelgeuse to have free access to the world of the living, so whatever metaphysical mumbo jumbo was going on there, it was powerful enough to bridge the world of the living and the world of the dead for Betelgeuse to cross from the latter to the former in full power (assuming he'd keep his ghostly powers upon gaining access to the world of the living; he might just become a regular guy, who knows. Still, restoring his body so he can walk as a living man again must require a lot of power).

When the ritual was only a step away from being finalized, it just left that link between Betelgeuse and Lydia which he eventually realized he could use to watch her from afar and try to reconnect with her. Call it a residual of sorts that was left when they were almost married the first time.

It may have only been possible for that link to remain or even form in the first place due to Lydia's own ability to see and communicate with ghosts, though.

As a matter of fact, as I mentioned before (because we all know how I'm a sucker for all the soulmate stuff lol), it may even be Lydia keeping that link between them alive, or even making it possible for it to exist. I have this headcanon that subconsciously she keeps calling him and allowing his presence around her all the time. She may sense a bond with him that she's currently unable to consciously notice. Betelgeuse feels the same bond and openly embraces it; he's an ancient, powerful soul, so he can see how the two of them are just meant to be together. But yes, I already totally talked about this in the other post.

More headcanon stuff: At the end of the sequel, when Betelgeuse shows up in Lydia's bed (and possibly in her nightmare, too, unless they were sharing the same dream), that it might've been Lydia's subconscious calling him right back to her after she banished him. There's a part of her that never wanted him gone. We can see how her face looks conflicted right after she sent Betelgeuse away. We can also see how her face went from scared and disgusted, to confused and surprised while they danced during the wedding scene. Lydia's heart was no doubt swayed, but she's struggling to come to terms with it. (You can clearly see how she's thinking "what the heck it was for real? This guy really loves me??" I totally didn't notice that the first time I watched that scene).

Anyway I'll leave this one up to here, lest I start repeating my points from the previous post (which I'm already doing, oops lol).

My Tl;dr for this post: Their psychic connection might have formed right after the first wedding, due to it being almost finalized. A link was formed and remained between their souls. Lydia might be keeping that link alive and calling Betelgeuse right back to her, subconsciously.

welcome to day TWO of honey's valentines day series ✨ in day one, we talked about MANIFESTING UR SP, for day two we will tackle the self concept aspect when manifesting an sp.

when manifesting an sp, the MOST CRUCIAL POINT, in my experience, is making sure that ur desire (sp) is NEVER and i mean EVER on the pedestal. you should never be putting ur desire on the pedestal in any circumstance, but especially not while manifesting a specific person.

remember at the end of the day YOU'RE the prize. so to help drill the concept of being on the pedestal into our heads, i've formulated a vaunt that i hope you'll love ->

ON THE PEDESTAL VAUNT ; im so effortlessly glamorous and beautiful, so of course i radiate the most magnetic ENERGY, duh. every sp that i want, WANTS ME MORE, because why wouldn't they? im the girl/guy/person of everyones DREAMS. i look at myself and think, how could someone be this pretty and smart and kind. im literally the full package. since im the full package i only attract likeminded and incredible individuals into my life effortlessly. so YES, me and my sp are LITERALLY valentines this year.

now that u know that you're always the prize, ACT accordingly. it doesn't matter if u think that ur sp is "out of ur league", you're so LIMITLESS and nothing is to good for you. out of ur league shouldn't even be something in ur vocabulary. you deserve ur desires simply because u desire them.

lastly for the super fun affirmation of our valentines day series...

i decided that _ is my sp this year, therefore _ is my sp. thats it, end of discussion. simply because i said i have what i want, i have what i want. i deserve the absolute best simply because i am me. 💖

Hi bb! 💖 oki so just for y’all to know I just recently introduced to the community of law of assumption! And I managed to manifest a couple things “temporarily” which were 1. A flat stomach 2. A particular movie to show up on Netflix and 3. Some other really small coincidences but most of them went away because i was too surprised 😭😭

I managed to get them all Litterally immediately or over night at first but then I try rn and (I don’t wanna say fail but just weren’t persisted into enough or just had too many doubts). My fav methods would probably be SATS too but I used to do it while I fell asleep and while I woke up. I thought it was sooooo easy and it set my mood right for the day! I just haven’t been able to do it as often lately cus of work. ☹️

And I don’t care what any one say anymore but affirming helps keep your mind on track! Of course it’s based on what works for YOU but if you are new and still holding on to “logic”, well “logically” your mind absorbs all the information u feed it but mostly holds on to the info that is constantly repeated. I’m just doin that right now affirm and persist with some affirming for the void whenever I take a nap 😴💖. I also listen to subliminals!!! I like them even if I haven’t seen results in the 3d currently (btw I know the 4d is the same as the 3d) but I just like laying down and listening to them.

welcome to day THREE of honey's valentines day series ✨ in day two, we talked about the self concept aspect for manifesting an sp, for day three we will have some fun and formulate AFFIRMATIONS + MAKE AN AFFIRMATIONS TAPE + VISION BOARD

this is easily the funnest part in manifesting sp's (other than it materializing ofc), at least in my opinion 🙈

when formulating ur affirmations ; in any case, when formulating affirmations we wanna make the affirmations sound like how you would speak to a friend/how you speak normally. for example...

if u wanna manifest ur sp giving u a call that makes u kick ur feet and twirl your hair, an affirmation could sound like this -> "i literally just had the BEST conversation with (sp)"

AFFIRMATIONS TAPES ; if you've never made an affirmations tape i highly recommend it bcuz it's a GAME changer in my conscious manifesting game lately. so basically how i like to do it ...

i'll choose two affirmations (i usually choose one affirmation for my desire, and another that'll say something like "im manifesting this in x amount of time/im manifesting in 24 hours")

find a photo on pinterest (doesn't have to relate to ur desire) it could be literally anything but if u wanna choose a photo that implies ur desire then just do that

then i'll repeat my affirmations into the audio, then put it on 2x speed and DUPLICATE it until i've made the video at least 10 minutes long (time doesn't matter this is just what i like to do)

and thats all, i'll just listen to that as much as i want and it saturates my brain

VISION BOARD ; all my vision boards are on pinterest but how i start off is by writing out about my sp. so for me since im manifesting 3 sp's i'll categorize them (sp #1,2,3) and how they are, how they treat me, what they did for me etc etc.

since this is just a valentine and its kinda no strings attached for me i won't write stuff like "i fell in love with them" bcuz thats NOT my goal, my goal is just to have fun this valentines day ✨

once i've written about the sp's i'll make a little mood-board but its only to help me visualize. my imagination is enough for visualization so this is a step i'd skip but if it helps u to visualize then do that.

lastly for the super fun affirmation of our valentines day series...

im a master manifestor, i am the source and manifesting is so unbelievably easy. im so so excited to enjoy my valentines day with my sp. i do literally nothing, and get EVERYTHING that i want. manifesting an sp is light work.
