I saw someone talking about this earlier, but I love the concept of The Winter Soldier being a ghost story. The IDEA of the Winter Soldier. Something you see out the corner of your eye. A ghost that leaves a trail of bodies. Something you never saw coming and never saw leave.
In CA:TWS the Death Squad mentioned by Bucky (idk how to spell the whole thing) is considered more dangerous. But in the 60 or so years that he was the Winter Soldier, he was the one people feared. Yes, the Death Squad was successful, but that was the work of 5. He created a reputation by being a one man killer. Not only that, but an efficient and deadly machine with one mission. To comply.
I kind of wish we got to see more of the Winter Soldier in action (but don't get me wrong, seeing Buck as the Winter Soldier makes me sad). Having more elaboration and action would be interesting though.

"Billy is ungrateful to Wanda" is such a shallow take.
The Kaplans sheltered him from ending up LIKE Wanda-alone, unbound & misguided with all that crazy potential. They instilled good values, making him the brave and empathetic kid who stepped up, controlled his powers, chose to be good, and will root for Wanda cuz he sees the good in her too(Children's crusade).
Wanda is supposed to be grateful to them.

oh my god. oh my fucking god. i just had the most insane and delusional realization/theory about agatha and rio. hear me out ok
first lets recap. agatha's colors are purple, and rio's colors are green. purple is a mix of red and blue, and we associate red with rage, passion, love and blue with sorrow and grief. green is a mix of blue and yellow, blue being the same and yellow as happiness. bUT HERE'S THE THING OK. yellow is also associated with obsession, sensationalism, and cowardice.
we know for a fact that agatha and rio are bound by their sorrow. they share grief--of being hurt (agatha) and of hurting someone they love (rio). HOWEVER, agatha channels her grief through her rage. she turns her blue into red, and we see this in her snark, her devil-wears-prada act, flaming everyone around her.
and rio? she sensationalizes her grief.
she answers agatha's rage with mocking confidence, challenges her passion with her own obsession, hunting her down but never quite killing her--she processes her grief through this facade of sensationalism, but underneath it all is her own cowardice--which the better word for it here is shame. she clearly regrets having to kill(?) nick, but the question no one seems to be asking is this:
why didn't Rio just leave Nick alone?
yes we assume she's the personification of death. but she said it was her job, which means she has someone she answers to. if rio is everything she seems to be, why didn't she challenge whoever it is that gave her that job? if she loved agatha so much, why cause any harm to nick (her son) at all? it looks like she accepted it so willingly, which is why i think agatha hates her so much. so in my mind, i'm thinking rio is always regretting that choice, and she might have thought it cowardly or shameful. because what could have possibly been powerful enough to punish her?
WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE that Rio's trial is having to face that choice again: Rio's trial is going to be about sacrifice. about LIFE.
and i think it fits with the themes of maiden-mother-crone. there's this really good post that i 100% agree with that delves more about the themes (@shutupineedtothink), but essentially what this person talks about is how jen's trial is birth, and rio's trial is life, which completes the witch cycle. i posit that jen's trial is about confronting death. jen is a midwife. midwives don't just make sure that the baby is delivered safely, they are there first and foremost for the mother--because the mother's life is what ensures the baby's. birth is such a dangerous process, because at any moment both mother and baby could die. the midwife's role is to avoid both from happening.
and that exactly opposes jen's essential conflict: rather than confront death (whether that's the death of her powers, the death of her legacy, or the death of belief in herself), she avoids it. thus, the crux of her trial is for her to confront death, and in doing so, face herself. she's been hiding behind the fact that she's bound to excuse all of the choices she's made so far--the trial, then, forces jen to remember that she's not defined by her binds. her potions and knowledge all help the coven dance with death and leave (mostly) unscathed.
the same goes for every witch--the road opposes their essential conflict and forces them to face it:
alice's conflict is denying the identity her mother passed on to her: how can she protect herself, her loved ones, if she doesn't know her own power? if she doesn't know herself? (in comparison to jen, who already knows her capability and denies it (and has it taken from her), alice refuses to know it when it's being handed to her on a silver platter)
agatha's is most likely her power: she defines herself with it, after earning it with blood sweat and tears from years of study and experience. but without it, who is she? what can she do?
lilia's is her past: she is hopelessly stuck in it. she can't shake all of the things she's seen and experienced. and if she's stuck in the past, how can she be able to face the future?
teen is still a bit of a mystery, but i can guess that his conflict is that he doesn't know where he really comes from--and why he's being hidden (we'll end it at that bc there are so many ways that could go)
THEREFORE WITH RIO, her trial is going to be about saving lives, as opposed to taking them. if rio really is the personification of death, she's the one being in the world who absolutely cannot be attached to anyone or anything. and she's THE green witch: she deals with ephemeral things all the time. flowers bloom and die, animals prey on each other, hell even the seasons are a metaphor for death. but here she is, hopelessly in love with agatha. thus, with rio, i think the road will put her in a position where she has to choose between agatha and teen. if she chooses agatha, she'll risk losing agatha's heart forever, because that will be the second betrayal. if she chooses teen, agatha will die. so i think it'll force her to come up with something to save them both. she has to go against her nature of taking lives the way she didn't when faced with that choice earlier with agatha and nick.
because what else does the yellow in her green stand for?
LIFE.

Bucky Barnes cleans his arm in the dishwasher…think about that…
James Buchanan Barnes was loading his dishwasher one night and there was some extra room in there. He didn’t want to waste the water on a not totally full load of dishes (of course) but then…he looked down at his arm.
And He Put His Arm In The Fucking DishWasher

Agatha origin conspiracy theory
Ok, girlies hear me out on this one.
So I've been toying with this idea of scarlet witches being forged again and again, as in Wanda wasn't the first scarlet witch but there were more before her, as they say, "The Scarlet Witch is not born, she is forged" and there have been many nuclear disasters or stuff like that, that could amplify 'the scarlet witch's' power. We also know that scarlet witches are not 'real witches' cuz they didn't inherit the magic from their parents and also they are 'harbingers of chaos' and are destined to end the universe so the 'real witches' community thinks of them as some dark creature, someone not to be consorted with, as outcasts or something. Like their magic is 'dark magic' or magic that should not be practised or whatever witches do. Also, witches don't need 'men' to have babes, if we've learnt anything from agathario. So what I think is that Evanora had some fling with another witch and she got pregnant with her babe but sometime later she found out that the other witch was a scarlet witch. That's why she despises Agatha even before she was born as in the 'I ought to have killed you the moment you left my womb' statement. And that is why she thinks of Agatha as a dark creature just like her other mother. Also, scarlet witches have red magic and Evanora has blue magic so as a result Agatha has purple magic. Also, I don't know if magic can be siphoned or not but we only saw Agatha do that and in 'Wandavision' Wanda also absorbed Agatha's magic so I'm assuming that this 'magic stealing' powers of Agatha are a result of her heritage. She was able to steal 'the scarlet witch's' magic and 'demiurge's' magic which is chaos magic and no other characters have been known to do that, which means Agatha must have some chaos magic in her blood, that's why she could do that. And maybe that is why the darkhold told Agatha about Wanda's existence. And about the temple of scarlet witch having idols of two boys next to her, we don't know if that was always like that, maybe during Agatha's scarlet witch mother's time it was Agatha's idol. Also this could explain why a cosmic creature (death) consorted with Agatha.
Anyway that was my ramblings on why 'Wanda is in some ways Agatha's mommy'
Thank you for listening to my TED talk.

Ok guys, i have a theory.
Ever since I saw the last episode of AAA I've been thinking about Rio's flower.
Then I realized something. You know that episode where Rio appears on the road, she's super happy to see Agatha being able to interact with her without fighting? So the flower that appears is kind of pink and pretty.
In the other episodes where she appears with a flower, it is the flower that is on the death tarot card. Then I realized that the flower reflects what it is feeling.
Because when she appears to Lilia indicating that she is going to die, Rio has the said flower. And the same thing when Nicky is going to be born and she knows he's going to die.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When she fights with Agatha in episode 8 the flower appears again. This specific one always seems to show up when she's not happy doing what she has to do.
Tumblr media
And the pink flower means that she would be comfortable and happy with Agatha and the coven.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now I'm going to cry, thank you.

my marvel hot take🗣️🔥
Thor should’ve died in in infinity war Instead of Loki. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love him in infinity war and endgame, but his role was simply comedic relief and set up a really unnecessary plot line between him and his mom, a relationship which was never really emphasized in his own movie but was ultimately worthless since he kinda lost any interest or faith we had in him because the dogs shit that Is Love and thunder. Meanwhile, if Loki had lived, there would be a great continuation for the character arc built up in ragnorock. It would have been really interesting to see how he would interact with the other avengers after what happened and New York, furthering his redemption when he has to prove his loyalty. And this loyalty would have to be put to the test against thanos, the one he feared most, creating another good plot moment for him. This would actually be a great setup for Loki, for the goal instead of wanting to bang a female version of himself and that being the event, but him wanting to find a universe where thor was alive, similar to that in Multiverse of madness. All of which leading to the team up the fans have been begging for to see in the movies, Loki, strange and Wanda. Idk man it just seems like a huge waste, and I wish they had thought of something more creative for his character.

Agatha S2 & Wiccan show work as one for me. Kathryn stays as a comedic genius across Joe's baby Wiccan where they grow closer while exploring plot points like-lack of control over their magic, dealing with guilt & darkness that comes with it, acknowledging that Billy was created from scratch too and is the son that survived. There's a story here with these two:)
Billy's identity crisis
Billy and Wanda
Both Wanda and Agatha have been written to have lost their chance at raising their boys, until now that they meet Billy but the story is more sophisticated that just giving a son back- it's what these women actively choose to do for him, and what all he returns, all in the backdrop of immeasurable potential that ties these characters together, along with an emotional bond.
Wanda lends Billy her greatness while the Kaplans keep him grounded and Agatha essentially raises the Demiurge. I cant wait for her to break it to him like she did to Wanda, except they would have grown much closer by the time and she would have such a proud face.
I am going to be delulu here on and write a scene where Billy's sheer unadulterated wish of wellbeing for Agatha, actually resurrects her(involving tears and all the dramatics), tying it all with the origins of the primordial elder god Demiurge, who Billy is understood to be a derivative of, destined to become the sentient force of LIFE, representing everything on the earth's biosphere.(I might or might not have a tiny plant grow out of Billy's tears, cuz baby that's life)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If MCU can have Wanda play with the chaos magic lore, so can Billy. I just read a short thread on Chaos Magic and it essentially connects back to the origin of life, probability of existence, that i derive to be the big bang. Bro carries stars on his suit. What did we expect.

THEORIES and THOUGHTS: AGATHA
This is the second part of my theories post, the first being about Billy! Again, this is going to be a three parter, because literally I have too many thoughts to contain in one post (I mean I can but that'll be entirely too long for y'all to read lmao)
Part 1 Billy | Part 2 Agatha | Part 3 Trial and Next Ep
Of course as always special mention to @justmonty because without her none of these theories would have been cooked at all! Hi queen ily
Alright HERE WE GO!
Next is our beloved problematic fave, middle-aged lesbian, Agatha Harkness. She is still shrouded in a lot of mystery, but the latest episode revealed a LOT about her.
So what we've learned is that Evanora Harkness is a bitch who never loved Agatha in the first place, the trial in the 1600s was way more layered than we thought, and that Nicky was at least 3 years old (remember the Ouija board instructions? ages 3 and up)(although that could also be a mention for the maiden, mother, crone thing, but it could be both! I digress)
Agatha cannot control her absorption magic, that is a fact. She begged Evanora to teach her how to control it, but she outright refused. And that's what she said in the trial too: "I cannot control it! If only you would teach me!" (Post here and amazing ass edit here). So we can conclude that this has been her struggle from the get-go. NOW, I POSIT:
WHAT IF the reason her mother hated her so much was because even in the womb she couldn't control her magic? What if instead of that power being her magic, it was a curse: to suck the power/life out of everyone who dares harm her? THEREFORE, knowing that Evanora was abusive from the start, what if Agatha's magic responded naturally to the abuse and started hurting whoever it was that tried to harm her--which in this case, is Evanora. Then, it was never a thirst for power; it was a curse.
Knowing Agatha, who internalizes so much trauma, what if the reason why she's so "evil" is because of her distorted thinking: "You think of me as a monster? Fine, I'll be one." Her love affair with Rio now fits the puzzle perfectly because Rio is the only one who can withstand that curse. This post sums it up perfectly: “Agatha is a soul who was meant to live but who everyone wanted dead - how could Death not fall in love with her?”
MORE THAN THAT, Death is so much like Agatha in this sense:
Tumblr media
(thanks to @justmonty for sending me this!)
So knowing all this, that Agatha can't control her absorption magic...
What if that's how Nicky died?
Nicky, the young baby witch, still learning how to handle his magic, blasts Agatha with a small bit of his magic as she's trying to teach him...
And Agatha, fully knowing the consequences, but can't control herself otherwise (nor know how to give back the magic she absorbed)...
The rest is history.
AND THAT, my friends, is why Agatha was so hell-bent on finding the Darkhold, which from what we know of it so far, has resurrection spells. Beyond that, what if she wanted to try and break her curse, or learn how to control it, through the Darkhold?
Imagine: she had never once delved into dark magic ever, has already begged the most knowledgeable witch she knew to teach her how to control her magic, but not only does she get shunned by her, she gets shunned by her entire community and nearly gets executed from it. At this point, she accepts her fate: "If you think me evil, then let me be fucking evil."
Then she finally finds something to love and to live for--only for him to die at her hands through a curse that she has no control over.
AND THEN, she hears about the Darkhold. A sliver of hope against the bleakness of her existence--and still, it ended up turning her even more insane and cursed. Now, because of a witch who could have definitely helped her get her son back, all of her power and sense of self is gone.
Now here's a theory: what if Evanora got r*ped by a demon, and their offspring is Agatha?
I'm not saying Agatha is Mephisto's daughter, I'm just pointing out (with the help of @justmonty) that it would make a lot of sense why Evanora hated her so much. AND, going back to my first post about color theory, Agatha's magic colors would now make more sense: Evanora had blue magic, and let's say that whichever demon is her father had red magic.
What do red and blue make? PURPLE.
I rest my case.

I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I still believe Onslaught is going to happen in X men 97, just probably not in S2 since it will focus on Apocalypse. In comics, Onslaught laid dormant in Charles' mind for a while and does not come out until he is triggered. So I'm theorizing, Onslaught is in Charles mind right now.

*Small spoiler for thunderbolts*
What if the reason they killed off taskmaster was because they are going to replace her with comic accurate taskmaster. It kinda seems that they're basing things off the comics a bit more, so that could be why they killed her off, but kept her in all the posters to keep the character relevant and to show that taskmaster will be part of the thunderbolts (AKA the new avengers) since taskmaster is party of the thunderbolts in comics
