How did you come to be anti-endo?

I actually managed to avoid the endo community for a really long time when I was first researching osddid. eventually i did made my way over to tumblr and even then i managed to be oblivious to the community. i cant remember how exactly i first encountered the community. but after having mostly accurate information given to me, i was like. this obviously doesn't add up.

i remember encountering the term "demo system" over on tiktok. and i was so fucking disgusted by it. you cant try this shit out. you cant choose to have this. the more i heard from these "origins" the more i want to debunk and educate.

i believe a good portion of the problem is that people are misunderstanding themselves. either they have forgotten their trauma (which is normal), or they down play their experiences and think that just because it wasn't the worst of the worst, they can't have osddid. but yeah, i feel like thats a portion of the endo community and i have empathy for that.

what i dont have empathy for is people who actively spread misinformation. you need trauma for cdds. simple as that. and you cannot have a comparable experience to cdds if you do not gave trauma. (all "you" is purely general. not specifically you. unless of course, you identify as endo)

as someone who is spiritual and communicates with my dead relative quite frequently. channeling and mediumship is not comparable to being a system.

as someone who understands how this disorder functions, creating alter egos for yourself, creating imaginary friends, or talking to your original characters in your head, is not comparable.

as someone who has experienced religious trauma, claiming that your spiritual or religious beliefs are comparable, is incredibly insensitive. you cannot force people to believe in your religion. so therefore, i have absolutely no obligation to engage in your religion if i dont want to. and again, you cannot prove this is a legitimate thing, so therefore its not fucking comparable.

from the start, i was against it. it makes a mockery of a disorder, and people are so fucking stubborn and caught up in validating themselves, that they cannot take criticism and try to figure out what is scientifically happening.

Well, since I officially presented my AU, I want to introduce my OCs that will have interaction with Dib as the protagonist.

Some extra facts about them:

Eddie:

Eddie is a hybrid of a powerful human witch and a demon worshipped by a cult.

In that cult, Eddie is worshipped like a prince, but his mother is fed up with his behavior, so she somewhat limited his powers and forced him to do something useful with them.

Dib was performing a spiritual ritual to acquire a "familiar spirit," and upon completing the ritual, Edgar's mother condemned him to be Dib's familiar for an indefinite period of time.

As a familiar spirit, he acquired the physical form of a bat and now lives with Dib and his family.

In his bat form, he can speak, but Professor Membrane apparently doesn't take Eddie's words seriously.

To others, Eddie is seen as "a pet." No one believes Dib when he says he's his "familiar."

At first, Eddie was just a playboy and more like a roommate because he refused to obey Dib, but little by little he began to feel a protective instinct towards Dib and Gaz, to the point that he sees them as younger brothers.

While he's a familiar, he won't be able to acquire his human form at will, only in certain isolated and necessary cases.

She loves shrimp and is somewhat fanatically attached to them.

Being half-demon, she has a certain aversion to some rituals and customs (perhaps holy water).

She spends her time giving Dib advice, some useful, some stupid.

She gets along well with Gaz, although he's sometimes afraid of her. He even protects her sometimes.

Sam:

Sam is a 30-year-old single man with a shop selling imported spiritualism products.

He's legally blind, but sees the world differently. He can perceive auras, energies, and spirits.

He obtained this gift at 15. When he was young, he always had a special gift for perceiving auras after a ritual in the cemetery. He literally went blind, but his gift evolved into the gift of mediumship.

By possessing the gift of mediumship, he has helped some people communicate with spirits, souls of deceased people, and even have brief visions of people's futures.

He can also master atrial plexus travel.

He had a girlfriend who was unfaithful to him when he obtained his gift, and he went blind.

He also possesses some clairvoyance, which helps him read tarot.

The rituals in his shop include tarot reading, predicting some things about the future, and medium sessions for communication.

He became Dib's friend, helped him with a seance, and understood Dib's vibe. He describes him as "a cool schizophrenic."

Of course, he believes Dib, and Dib even frequents his shop to obtain mystical materials for various adventures.

Despite being a witness to everything Dib does, no one believes him because he's "a crazy blind man."

He has a laid-back hippie attitude, and let's say he loves incense, but he smokes cannabis occasionally.

He's a fan of very exotic food. He can often be seen eating food with insects; he's not disgusted by them.

He allowed Tak to work in his shop and gave her asylum. He did Dib a favor, as he's aware of what's happening to her.

He develops a friendship with Tak in the process, describing some human attitudes.

Eddie:

Eddie es un mestizo de una bruja humana y un demonio poderosos al que un culto adora.

En ese culto, Eddie es adorado como un principe, pero su madre esta harta de su comportamiento, así que limito algo sus poderes y lo obligo a hacer algo util con ellos

Dib estaba haciendo un ritual espiritual para poder adquirir un "espiritu familiar", y al persivir el ritual, la madre de edgar lo condenó a ser el familiar de dib por un tiempo indefinidio.

Al ser un espiritu familiar, adquirio la forma fisica de un murcielago, y ahora vive con dib y su familia.

En su forma murcielago puede hablar, pero al parecer el profesor membrana no toma en serio cuando eddie habla.

Para los demás, eddie pasa desapercibido como "una mascota", nadie le cree a dib cuando dice que es su "familiar"

Al principio, Eddie era solo un vividor y más como un roomie pues se negaba a obeder a dib, pero poco a poco empezó a sentir un instinto protector hacia Dib y Gaz, al punto que los ve como hermanos menores

mientras sea un familiar, no podrá adquirir su forma humana a voluntad, solo con ciertos casos aislados y necesarios

Adora los camarones, tiene cierto fanatismo a ellos.

al ser mitad demonio, tiene cierta aberracion algunos rituales y costumbres (quizas agua bendita)

se la pasa dandole consejos a dib, algunos utiles, otros estupidos.

Se lleva bien con gaz, aunque aveces el le tenga miedo a ella. incluso tambien aveces la protege

Sam es un hombre soltero de 30 años que tiene una tienda que vende productos espirituales importados.

El es legalmente ciego, pero ve el mundo de otra forma, puede persivir auras, energías y precenciar espiritus

obtuvo este don a los 15, cuando el era joven siempre tuvo un don especial para persivir precencias después de un ritual en el cementerio, se quedo ciego literalmente pero su don evoluciono hasta tener el don de medium

al poseer el don de medium, ha ayudado a algunas personas a comunicarse con espiritus, almas de gente muerta y e incluso tener visiones cortas sobre el futuro de las personas

Powers I Think Bianca di Angelo Would Have If Riordan Had Mercy

Shadow Travel. Of course. No explanation needed

Necromancy/Mediumship. Again, no explanation needed. HOWEVER! Instead of what Nico does, I headcanon Bianca being a medium where she can see and communicate with (lost or wandering) souls. If you've seen Mieruko-chan, that's somewhat what I envision for her. She only communicates with them if she needs to, otherwise, she'll just ignore them.

Umbrakinesis/Shadow Manipulation. Think of this like Raven's powers (from Teen Titans). Consequences include: Exhaustion.

Flaming hair. I. WANT. THIS. And yes, this is in reference to Hades in the Hercules movie. I want fanfics where Bianca di Angelo has flaming hair whenever she gets angry or her emotions are out of control or when she uses her powers. I saw somewhere that Hades had somehow control over black fire and they theorized that Bianca would have those powers. Someone WRITE THIS PLEAAAASE!

In connection to the Shadow Manipulation, this one might be dumb but I'd like to think sometimes that the di Angelo kids have a living shadow like Peter Pan. Consequences include: Loss of Balance and Inability to Use Body for a period of time. How would this work? I imagine the shadow being a spy for them and would work like an astral projection.

she's always been a huge smoker. she's not allowed to smoke in the lab of course, huge fire hazard. but she's always like "i'll just magically put it out' with like an eyeroll, but that's not the point. whenever she smokes (mostly anywhere in the compound, but mostly in the lab), bruce or tony will just pluck it form between her finger tips or lips.

all the mirrors in her house is covered with blankets and cloths. she hates mirrors cause sometimes when she sees her own reflection, she gets premonitions about her future and she never really wants to know.

aside from cigarette smoke, katherine also smells like roses or lavenders depending on the season (rose in spring-summer, lavender in autumn-winter)

she's a big fan of the 60s, loves the jewelry, the hair, the music. there's always some sort of 60s song playing in the background. 

while bruce sometimes has trouble handling his anger, katherine on the other hand can hardly control her sadness. she feels everyone's emotions more than they do, so sometimes she'll just randomly start crying and bruce will freak out every time, but katherine just carries on like nothing's happening. 

if i were to compare katherine to an already physical tv/movie character, i'd say she's most similar to penelope garcia from criminal minds. she also hates going by her full name and prefers kat or katy.

she has such a hard time falling asleep, to strange dreams that come true, to not liking the feeling of relaxation, i think she and bruce enjoy doing yoga or something calming together in the mornings. 

she carries a huge purse with some legal and some illegal pharmaceuticals "you never know what you're gonna need."  "kat this is weed..." "so?"  "we're grocery shopping!"

her powers are pretty similar to wanda's, but she doesn't need to get inside someone's head to know what they're thinking, she can feel it. her personal favorite power is clairvoyancy, which is the ability to touch an object or a person, and see thing's about it. this power more so affects the futuristic aspect, but she also does have the power os psychometry where she can see somthing/someone's past. 

her first time meeting bruce, they shook hands and she had a little moment where she saw them kiss. she still hasn't told him about that though. to her, it looked like a wedding but after discussing it with wanda, natasha, pepper, it's come to the conclusion it was more so a fantasy than reality (lie but whatever)

her other powers consist of mediumship, which helps her connect to her lost loved ones. all she needs is peace and quiet for this, which honestly she hardly ever gets. although once connecting with them, she can't hear or see them in the physical world, when she sleeps she usually dreams and can connect with them there. this is the one that takes the most energy from her because she never truly gets to rest, even when she's asleep.

it wasn't until later in her adult years did she realize she had the power of necromancy as well. now she doesn't like this power at all. when she was 24, her mother died during one of the new york attacks (i'm not calculating which one i'm too lazy), and she would cry about it so bad, that the energy would bring her mom 'back to life'. it scared her a lot, especially because bringing people back from the dead is never a good idea. 

she kinda got lost for a while, seeing her mom every night but she knew she had to quit when she kept hiding it from bruce, telling him he couldn't come over anymore because all she wanted was her mother. eventually, as all dead people do, they begin requesting you to join them. since then, she hasn't really used this power.

her divination power is most useful though. she's a very textbook witch. crystal balls, crystals, tarot cards. almost always can she properly hypothesize what will happen, where it will happen. she often uses it on herself to talk to her guides to help her make decisions. 

to tie into her divination, loki had a tiny infatuation with her for a while because of her alters to the gods. bruce shut that shit down real quick.

anyway, she also creates her own rune protections and has a bunch of tattoos (tiny ones) littered all over her body. she also has them drawn on her walls. sometimes when bruce is working in the lab, kat will just walk in with a marker and doodle a new rune on his hand. he does not wash them off ever.

sometimes if there are candles in a room, and kat walks in, all the lights in the room will turn off and the candles will flicker to life. 

sometimes when she's bored, she'll just create little energy balls in her hand and play with it. once, she was so caught up in her little purple magic that she hadn't notice bruce walk in, and accidentally shot the energy ball at him. 

Due to her extensive amount of powers, she tires herself out a lot, her only weakness (aside from bruce but like duh). sometimes after using her powers too much and not getting enough to sleep or eat or drink, she'll just collapse. bruce has never let her hit the ground.

she met bruce through tony stark, who had been her friend for years. her father was also kind of a mad scientists, and after thing's went a little wonky in her childhood years, she began to see dead people (which faded and came back when her mom died). aside from an accidental energy blast, he had no idea where the divination powers came from. she grew up a lot with tony after her father met with howard stark.

although bruce is only five years older, she calls him old man.

kat absolutely adores a nerdy man. as much as she loves tony, she thinks the quiet ones are the best. 

kat is definitely the freakiest of the bunch (aside from sigyn of course cause have u seen loki?). her first time with bruce was definitely vanilla, but ever since then she's taken a lot of control over the situation. i can just imagine him laying back with his mouth dropped open and eyes wide in shock at the absolute sinister shit she's got going down. 

she feels connected to the woods. when she and the avengers stopped off at clint bartons house, she and bruce talked about running off together, hiding out somewhere in the woods, building a home together. maybe kids were off the table, but they could find some other thing's to do.

although shield doesn't see her as a threat, a lot of citizens do, especially after everything that happened with wanda, they weren't sure they could trust if kat was still a good person.  

i think their favorite position is probably just cowgirl. i think they're favorite place to do it would probably be the couch or the bed. she won't push him to do it anywhere else, but he knows she's thinking about it.

i think the team walks in on them being touchy-feely the most out of the others. it especially happens in the lab, he's talking all his smart stuff and she's just leaning against the table to listen, he keeps stuttering cause her tits are practically spilling out of her low v neck top. she'll just cut him off with a kiss so he stops talking (although she loves when he yaps)

she's never ever been afraid of the hulk. which bruce doesn't really understand why she lacks fear, but i think she and hulk have a certain understanding of each other that bruce probably won't ever catch on to. 

she's kinda messy... she sleeps in her makeup, she always finds a stray bobby pin in her hair, there's glitter everywhere, books strewn on the floor, crystal alters are always a mess.

she shares a playlist with bruce, only soft calming music to keep them both grounded. 

huge fan of floor time. if bruce walks in to her apartment, she's definitely lying on the floor.

i think all her clothes are thrifted or hand made by herself. of course there are pieces she'll buy from like walmart or target or whatever. i also think she prefers wearing skirts and dresses more than pants. but her 'avengers'outfit has pants and she hates it so bad, but at least it's purple so she's fine with that.

whenever they find each other sleeping, they never wake each other up. usually she'll walk into his room in the compound and find him asleep on the bed or at the desk, or maybe in the lab. she won't wake him up if he's asleep in bed or on a couch, but being hunched over a desk or never comfortable. now with kat sleeping, she will sleep anywhere.

for some reason, i can also see her being diabetic. she gets so focused on her powers that she tends to neglect herself that she ate a ton of sugary foods, which was not good for her (i'd think around the time when her mom died, she was just trying to use the sugary foods to bring her mood up), and her blood pressure is always super high from stress.

bruce is absolutely terrified of hurting her, he's terrified of hurting anyone in general, but the thought of hurting her makes him wanna die, even if it hadn't ever happened, he still feels guilty about it. 

she likes to change his contact information in his phone, his wallpaper, basically anything that has to do with her. she'll see that his contact for her is like just 'katherine grace' or 'katherine b' and she immediately changes it. she changes his wallpaper a lot for him, almost every time he leaves his phone somewhere and she finds it, the next time he's picking it up he's like "hey that wasn't my background three minutes ago!"

i think for a long time before they actually dates, bruce called her 'katherine grace' or 'miss baudelaire' as a formality. of course she hated it and always insisted on him just calling her kat or literally anything but her full name. of course he still calls her katherine grace all the time (it's slowly growing on her)

she gives him random trinkets. like "here, this is for your protection, your spirtit guides told me you're being watched by a negative entity" and it's just a box full of herbs, flowers, and bones. he'll smile and nod, not really understanding, "thank you?"

i can also feel like she's not the best at being social. she hates going outside, every time she bumps into someone, she always gets a vision on them. since she hardly ever went outside, she's not really accustomed to thing's like metaphors, innuendos, hints, sarcasm. she just says things how it is, but that doesn't mean she doesn't understand that her being blunt may hurt people (because like i said, she feels everything, every mood shift) she's just not the best at articulating her words right to keep the peace.

with that being said, she's also such an open and honest person. sometimes, if she doesn't know how to explain what she's feeling, she can also touch whoever she's talking too, and they'll kinda get visions to and understand what's wrong. 

i feel like that happens a lot whenever she's really upset though, she'll just shut down. i also think their relationship was a lottttt of back and forth. "we shouldn't be doing this?"   "well why the hell not?" and then like twenty seconds later she's like "I'm sorry we shouldn't have done that" like OK GIRL PICK AND CHOOSE 

i think for work she's either a botanist or a teacher, before being a shield agent/avenger. she has such a big connection to kids and plants as well. she's very earthly. bruce was able to see her work with kids maybe once or twice. she's typically an extraction method to help people get out of places safely. kids trust her a lot cause she can be very gentle. i think animals trust her a lot too, especially birds.

anyway, back to the kids: so i think he probably realized he was in LOVE WITH HER (most definitely knew, but realized here) during age of ultron, once again ty clint for the home in the middle of nowhere, cause when kat was sitting on the floor, she was using her little magic to make the legos float and piece together while the kids watched and laughed. she even touched laura, smiling when she could feel the baby. "he's gonna grow big and strong, just like his daddy. probably a little annoying too." 

she's just so gentle.

but don't get me wrong, the penelope garcia wild side is there! she'll stay out and party all night if bruce lets her. but this mf is strong okay, i can imagine she's dancing with pepper, trying to get her out of her comfort zone a bit, even as the party has winded down. and then bruce and tony step in, tony wrapping an arm around pepper and guiding her away from you, while bruce just dips down and tosses you over his shoulder like nothing.

she loves all creatures, but her fear of frogs is so weird. like even a picture and she's in wide eye'd shock.

Kendra and her family - including Koda - are all able to turn human at will. Koda is less comfortable with being human, and thanks to Kenai and Nita basically threatening him, Adam doesn't force it on him

Kendra is a major activist and tends to take on new causes every day. She's incredibly passionate, and is often seen as being 'short tempered' and 'stubborn' because of this

Atka - Nita's original partner from Brother Bear 2 - is considered a 'blood brother' to Kenai and Nita due to the fact that he also went through the whole 'great spirits refused he and Nita's marriage' thing. He - alongside Koda, Denahi and Sitka's spirit - acts as Kendra's uncle

She wears mostly shades of brown and green - representing her connection to nature

Princess Neveah Rogers of Maldonia

Neveah is one of the more paranoid students when it comes to magic. She hates studying magic in class, and it reminds her of what both her parents went through

She learnt how to sew from her grandmother, and is quite talented at it! It's what causes her and Evie to become friends quite early into her arrival in Auradon

In spite of technically being from the 'modern day', her style resembles that of the late 30s early 40s, which is when she would've been the right age in canon

She wears a mix between green and light blue - the green is a reference to the dress her mother wears at the end of the movie, and the light blue dress is a reference to the dress her mother wears at the start of the movie

Valentina Madrigal

Valentina was born at 36 weeks thanks to Bruno's terrible luck. As a result, there are some minor differences between her and other students at Auradon Prep - she's one of the shorter students and looks younger than most of them

She cannot use her mediumship powers without preparation and has to use emerald glass to channel and communicate with the dead. Her powers ended up activating by accident during her gift ceremony, where she ended up talking to the recently deceased Alma, nearly causing her to have a panic attack

She has a sunny, cheerful disposition, but secretly feels incredibly insecure about her powers. She's also rather quick to judge when she wants to be a part of the group

She wears a variety of shades of green (take a shot), but also is seen wearing yellow and blue on occasion to reference her aunt's colours

Hadley Hearts

As to be expected of the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, Hadley has... A bit of a temper. She tends to lash out at people when they least expect it. She was also spoiled by her mother... which shows

She's terrible at apologising to people, and some have theorised that she cannot say the word 'wrong'

She's not only good at croquette, but at chess - which makes complete sense considering that she was to be the Queen of Wonderland until her mother ordered her to go to Auradon

She wears red, black and white, and loves furs, to the point that she has a special fur coat she wears in winter!

Thorn

Due to Thorn's father dying before they were created, they don't have the same attachment to their family that the rest of the VKs do

Thorn knows some black magic but rarely uses it due to it taking a lot of energy out of them - they were literally created out of black magic, of course, so its taking their own energy

They're a surprisingly fast learner and can often be found reading occult books in the Auradon Prep library, much to everyone's fear and confusion. Yen Sid takes a liking to them and wants to teach them how to use their magic for good

They wear mostly red and brown, and have a lot of skull decorations over their outfits!

Gabrielle Gothel

Gabrielle is the youngest biological daughter of Mother Gothel, being Cassandra's younger sister

She's way more insecure than her mother is, constantly feeling like she's nothing. Gothel very much drilled the idea that she wasn't perfect into her head

She lacks social skills and often needs others to help her with it - it also didn't help that her mother isolated her. Upon arriving to Auradon, Rapunzel immediately adopts her into her family!

She wears mostly deep purple, red and later, adds blue to the mix to represent her connection to the Moonstone

Destiny 2 Deck of Whispers Oracle/Tarot Card Meanings

For those that play destiny 2 and bought the deck of whispers, and were wanting to use it in oracle and tarot readings, I have tried my best to create some meanings to attach to the cards based on the game's lore. I have only played d2 for a few years, but my bf whose played since the dawn of d1 helped me out.

Of course, these are just my interpretations based on the game and my expierence in the spiritual community. Feel free to add your own, share an idea in a comment, etc.

I The sisters - femininity, power in three, three, Hecate, the non-nurturing mother but the protective one, knowledge, partnership, family, sacrifice, transformation, growth, regrowth, starting over, hatred

II The witch - Savathun, lies, deception, cunning, trickery, buried honesty or honesty hidden in riddles, riddles, confusion, trust vs. untrusting, getting what you want, manipulation, taking what you want, dark mother, cost of change, cost of growth

Something my Headmates and I are wondering not all Headmates are Dissociative parts yeah? We don't really and never have felt like Dissociative parts and just feel like completely unique full individuals just living together. But someone said that was wrong and Headmates are always Structural Dissociation and we're curious if that is true?

"Are headmates dissociated parts," and "are headmates caused by structural dissociation" are actually two different questions.

First, not all dissociated parts are caused by structural dissociation. Even the creators of the structural dissociation model have said that certain practices may result in dissociative parts of the personality, such as mediumship or hypnosis.

The reason that these are considered parts by psychologists is because they are created in the same brain. From the medical point of view, anyone inside of your brain is a part of it.

These parts are dissociative because they are compartmentalized. They are divided within the mind and don't identify as each other.

Are all headmates dissociative parts by this view? I think if we took a purely psychological approach, then yes.

That's not to say you need to use this language for yourself. Medical and academic language is very often dehumanizing, and many systems don't care for it. We don't call ourselves parts or feel comfortable with that sort of language outside of these sorts of clinical discussions. But I believe the term would technically apply. If headmates are separated, they're dissociative. If they share a physical brain, they must be parts of that brain.

Of course, if we take a spiritual view, then obviously external agents entering and occupying the body wouldn't be dissociative parts.

so i kind of really just came up with her on the fly so i basically made this

by just kind of focusing on piper and mark as a concept you know what is the vibe of them fused into one gonna look like. and the answer was kind of this girl who was kind of like. so sweet. innocent. babyface. veryyy similar to Exactly How Piper Was At That Age. which is funny because her mom is no longer like that so pei pei also feels very kind of alone or isolated in her. kind of sense of social awkwardness and her desperate want for a some great love. you know like how when you feel like a lonely girl you feel like the loneliest girl in the world? and then of course that then coupled with the charmed legacy has her feeling like a she might never live up to anyone’s expectations of her, that maybe her best will never been Good Enough into her life. and then we’re going to give her. one. younger sister. because i don’t want to do a power of three thing because then i have to come up with what the siblings are like and the power of three dynamic and that’s a lot of work. and i’m stoned. so just one younger sister.

in this au after piper saves mark from yama he gets to “stay” kind of like maybe it’s the universe deciding that his death Was unfair and he gets a second chance at life. so yay! he is reborn. But. he keeps some ghostly powers (like phasing & mediumship) because i want pei pei to have these powers. so pei pei’s powers are phasing, freezing, mediumship, and this kind of Touch Of Death Aura you know what i’m saying?

And Then Angela is her love interest because i have realllly been wanting to write an Angel of Death love interest because it has so much potential for like tragedy drama mystique. and i was thinking like. dude is it a folktale or something. old man challenges death to a chess match. old man wins so yay he is not gonna die! death is like yay and then withers into nothingness, finally! and old man realizes he is the new Death. anyway that’s what happened to our girl angela except instead of an old man she’s a twenty something babe. because who doesn’t love a twenty something babe? i’m also thinking she might be like. a genius or something like of quantifiable measure because how the fuck else do you beat death in a chess match. it was either that or i make her a gambling addict who bet on a game of chance. maybe she’s both a genius And a gambling addict, who knows, she sure doesn’t, because her memory of her past life was wiped when she became an angel of death. what a jarring experience! she has no idea who she was hell she doesn’t even remember her old name all she knows is she’s now a reaper. that must be so much to take in gosh she need a mentor. bring in prue’s angel of death [crowd whooping and cheering]. and then the name angela dabria is actually given to her by pei pei because they keep interacting and pei pei is like I Cannot Keep Calling You Angel Of Death.
