I will never be over Leo’s 4D chess play in “Many Unhappy Returns”. Like, just in general it is a spectacle to see this character who we’ve seen goofing around time and time again, who’s only sometimes decided to take things seriously, only to show him making a maneuver like that.

And here’s what gets me the most about his plan against Big Mama: he comes up with it on the spot. The second he sees that Big Mama has the solution they need, he’s already in game mode.

It is so satisfying watching the episode back when you realize his plan, because he literally sets the stage entirely for a decisive victory. He sees that the champion is a kraken, and comes up with both the solution to defeating it and a reasonable excuse to get that solution into the battle with them on the fly:

“Like your champ aaand those six guys. In fact, we don’t want this over too quickly. You should armor up those rookies. The whole shebang. Especially with these pointy helmets.”

And this is why giving him teleportation powers is perfect, too. He analyzes the battlefield and makes use of all the assets, moving pieces around to guarantee a win. It is honestly so impressive to witness and one of my favorite parts of his character.

Oh, that’s definitely not the first one 😅 It’s just the first one I publicly responded to in a while. I only reply publicly if I have something else to add to what was already said; otherwise, I try to reply privately or not at all.

Typically those apologies result from miscommunications (overstepping my personal boundaries or maybe being too harsh with word choice/tone which could be insensitive to fans of a particular character) and little real or intentional harm is done. Sometimes the misunderstanding occurs on my end (like I’ll misread a tone or take the word choice too seriously), and I’ll fully own up to that. It’s a natural consequence of communicating on the internet, where it’s challenging to read intentionality.

The rudest askers are the ones that don’t acknowledge their missteps and the harm they caused, or simply refuse to listen to the other side (in this case, me)—but to be fair, that’s par for the course. I figure that if someone is going to be that vitriolic or pompous to begin with, then I can’t expect them to realize the error of their ways and try to make amends for it 💦 They’ll most likely continue to think they’re in the right, and I that’s a fight you cannot “win” no matter what 🤷‍♀️ so it’s pointless to hold your breath and keep waiting for them to have a change of heart + come around. Better to just let them be, y’know?

Not everyone is terminally online enough to catch every response to an ask they sent in, especially not with the volume of asks I get and my frequent posting schedule. (Unlike an actual irl convo, you can walk away from this blog anytime you like; you don’t owe me a response.) Not everyone reacts the same way when learning about a negative reaction to their ask. Maybe some think an apology is warranted, but others could easily shrug it off or maybe even think I’m the one overreacting or reading too much into what they said. And honestly? Apologizing is hard to do! It takes emotional maturity and the willingness to be vulnerable and admit that you messed up—skills that not every has or may not be ready for. Those situations are very possible, and not always a matter of politeness vs rudeness.

All that is to say that while I definitely appreciate apologies, I don’t expect them from everyone and anyone that has been impolite to me or uncomfortable to interact with. It’s just how it is! (I also appreciate how fired up you sounded in this ask 😂 almost like you’re offended on my behalf djsvjwwbkwjw)

Something I love about Leo is that, canonically, he IS capable of cooking, he’s just completely incapable of using a toaster. He’s banned from the kitchen not out of an inability to make edible food, but because being within six feet of a toaster causes the poor appliance to spontaneously combust.

Jason literally just died in Leo’s arms, bleeding out from a stab wound he took to save his life, Leo is Done playing the game

Like for a while I was toying with him Orphiousing him, but Leo is past formalities now he's not asking anymore

Just Jason waiting again to get judged, twiddling his thumbs and staring at the wall when all of a sudden Leo is pulling him out of line. Jason gets a quick “We are leaving” out of him and then Leo is marching him back up the way he came

They hold hands the whole way, its the moment Jason knows that he Loves him loves him
