i’ve seen the clips on tiktok with the dance scene and they are the cutest genuinely.. probably if they were sharing a home together, dazai definitely initiates a dance every time a good song comes on like a radio or speaker :))

i feel like in that little asylum they are in (idfk ouu) dazai makes do with it! flirting casually, touching and holding sigma close.

to mix it up!! to think out of the canon (like the place they r in :3) i feel like dazai doesn’t try to offer sigma to die with her too often, getting a small understanding on how he wants to live still even though dazai himself wishes to die.

based off of his wiki (without spoiling myself fr) i can see him being a bit dependent on dazai (most definitely in a relationship of course), wanting to be there constantly. pretending to not worry until he does behind closed doors

being teased or like being joked with makes him a bit confused or angry, he doesn’t take the teasing lightly but he lets it slide for silly dazai

his like confident little act gets tiring at times for the silly goober, (definitely the autism hm..) unmasking around dazai comfortably when able to. probably enjoying the little moments where he can be himself and see how nothing changes with dazai when he is.

ive seen that anime clip where dazai literally stopd ontop of sigmas back to fix a outlet and i giggled a bit. dazai definitely unnecessarily be asking to get on sigmas back and poor sigma is like.. “Right… ( ^_^ ;; )” but acts of service is a love language for the silly :3

now that i think about it, sigma goes out of its ways to go do things for dazai. maybe like picking something up or whatever, its definitely something worthy doing to show at least some appreciation and it doesn’t go unnoticed i swear!!

the little things in dazais dont go unnoticed either!! i feel like just by being around each other, sigma has just like automatically catches some cues from dazais expression or mannerisms. something about it that makes him understand a bit.. I am I firm believer in poly!Dazai.

Chuuya is his primary partner of course. “Destined to-“… what??? be together forever. Have such a strong trust for one another it’s still there after 3 years apart. They were totally falling for each other as teenagers but they didn’t admit they were in love until after Dazai left the mafia.

Oda was Dazai’s first love, and would still be together if things didn’t end the way they did.

Kunikida was a surprise. Dazai didn’t expect to fall for him but over time he started to appreciate the man’s ideals. Dazai also loves making him mad so Kunikida has no choice but to pay attention to him more.

Fyodor is the toxic partner that you don’t know why you’re so attracted to but you can’t get away. He found a way into Dazai’s head and never left.

Sigma is Dazai’s play thing. They didn’t know it at first but slowly they became wrapped around Dazai finger. Dazai could call at anytime and Sigma would answer after just the first ring.

favorite thing about them: oh god. where do i begin. lucy’s character is one that i admit i didn’t examine too closely at first but i’m so pleased i did because she’s amazing. she’s such a brilliant subversion of so many romantic tropes especially in regards to her relationship with atsushi. the fact that she’s set up to be the conventional damsel in distress and a cut-and-paste version of him, but then throughout their relationship she turns all of that on its head. becoming the hero she needed when atsushi fails to save her, having her development pushed by a male character instead of existing solely to further his, her relationship with kyouka developing as a criticism of love triangles/rivals — instead of fighting with another girl over a guy it’s their mutual care for him that brings them together and keeps them strong. her and atsushi looking after each other in each other’s love languages — she risks her life to save him, an act which is so important to him he feels it’s his life’s purpose, while he is open and vulnerable with her — the one thing she struggles with most. yeah. also her design is gorgeous, one of the best in the series imo

least favorite thing about them: that she doesn’t play more of a central role in the story #tbh

well i mean its just safe to assume bc they didn’t actually become double black until after the events of stormbringer. dazai says the day they leveled an enemy organization overnight with chuuya’s corruption is the night they became known as double black. i could be wrong but their partnership wasn’t official until mori realized how formidable they would be together. yk since before their partnership chuuya was running the mafias gem smuggling syndicate and dazai was mori’s right hand man, nearly an executive. it’s not like dazai wasn’t used to nullify corruption before that, as shown in stormbringer when chuuyas gate is opened for the first time and dazai is sent to close it, it’s just that they weren’t working together in tandem. the unconfirmed seventeen light novel will probably delve more into their partnership and probably disprove this but that’s just what i think

Gender Headcanon: i love transfem sigma so much. but also to me their.. idk "birth gender" is not the right term probably but like. the gender they were created as is not strictly male or female. it's sort of both and sort of neither. so transfem sigma to me isn't necessarily male -> fem-aligned; it's closer to intersex -> fem-aligned i guess?

A ship I have with said character: okay so. i usually just say i don't ship sigma with anyone but admittedly,, i have seen some very cute sigsano art that is lowkey converting me BUT there are conditions that must be met for that ship which are 1. sigma is transfem/nonbinary (bc i hc yosano as a lesbian) 2. if it's canon universe, sigma needs to have some time to themself to figure out what they want to do with their life and become comfortable finally living as a person with autonomy over themself. and 3. it's probably closer to a qpr than a typical romantic relationship bc sigma is still definitely on both the aro and ace spectrums also siglai to me is like. not romantic, not platonic, but a secret third thing that is somewhere in between

2 • sigzai, kunikizai, fyoya and every nonskk ship being compared to the actual skk

i KNOW every ship is valid but you cannot compare your goofy pairings to a relationship as complex as dazai and chuuya's
