Kind of a svsss au with transmigrator Lan zhan ↓

Lan Wangji whose absolute fav character ever is Wei wuxian. He's read about him since wwx was a poor homeless child to when he was adopted by the Jiangs to when he became the cultivation world's hero. He HATES how this sweet, selfless, friendly character gets put through one terrible situation after another.

His room is fucking full of wwx merch. Oh he's not popular enough? He's gonna have a body pillow custom made with Wei Ying on it. He has an office job where people are terrified of him and then he goes home and holds his Wei wuxian plush for hours.

Then the final chapter of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation is posted and wei wuxian GETS KILLED. All the major sects worked together to launch an attack on the burial mounds. All he ever did was want to protect the wens!!!!

Lan Wangji is so fucking mad he dies. And he wakes up in the body of Lan zhan aka hanguang jun, his most hated character.

Hanguang jun is an uptight morally self righteous bastard who was offered Wei Yings friendship time and time again but rejected it! Wei Ying would call him by his birth name and instead of seeing it as affectionate, hanguang jun would get angry at Wei Ying for being informal. Not only did he constantly get Wei Ying into trouble for harmless (loveable and boyishly endearing) pranks, he also publicly criticized him for his demonic cultivation, not knowing Wei wuxian had no choice since he gave up his core.

He wakes up to xichen asking if he's alright and immediately goes "WHERE IS WEI YING"

Xichen: uh... Wei wuxian? I didn't know you two were that close

Lan zhan: I have to see him immediately

Xichen is concerned (his brother had a qi deviation) but when Lan zhan is still insistent on it for days, he says he's welcome to accompany him to the Jiangs gathering.

Xichen: but I thought you hated large parties

Lan zhan: I'll go if Wei Ying is there.

Xichen: ....🏳️‍🌈❓️

They arrive and Lan zhan can barely breathe when he sees how gorgeous Wei wuxian is. He's in his yiling laozhu outfit, so this is post war but he hasn't gotten in a fight yet so it's pre saving the Wen clan. Lan zhan steps closer and calls his name and wei Ying sneers

Wei ying: Lan zhan- hanguang jun. I thought you hated me too much to even look at me

Lan zhan: I don't. Please call me Lan zhan like you used to.

Jiang cheng: *raises an eyebrow*

Wei Ying faltering: uh. Haha what's gotten into you-

Lan zhan stepping forward and grabbing wei Ying by the waist: come back to gusu, Wei Ying. I need you.

Wei wuxian's face is bright red and he's speechless. Jiang cheng thinks hes hallucinating. Xichen is going ah so it is 🏳️‍🌈 indeed. Everyone else at the party is staring because there's no way this is happening. Nie huaisang is choking on his tea because he's the authour and that's definitely another transmigrator.

(okay, so this was born from yapping in the very newly made group chat ’couples conglomerate’ which is me, kara (@/sugarsnappeases), lane (@/sixlane) and renn (@/velanavis). it’s nowhere near coherent and just the four of us going crazy … 🤍 but i’ve also been obsessively thinking about it so not all of this from the gc!!!)

picture this: james, lonely and greedy only child meets the black brothers at some boarding school (im thinking a university ??) somewhere in england. this is some secret history typa ordeal. james & sirius immediately hit it off and become best friends, + that they’re both 1+ years older than regulus, so sirius would obviously meet james first. the black brothers are still from the noble most ancient house of black. sirius is heir, regulus is the spare. sirius is the ever charismatic older brother, heir, confident, smart, beautiful and everyone has always been drawn to him. this hasnt been a problem before because they’ve always been very isolated and only had each other at the end of the day. maybe they were home-schooled. regulus is the lesser version of sirius, the spare, lacks his older brothers natural charm, has been taught to stay out of sirius’ way his whole life, to take after his brother, to observe him and watch him, be his shadow. regulus follows sirius and sirius leads. regulus hasnt necessarily been too overly possessive and obsessive (<- he has been, just not to his knowledge) over sirius before he starts university because at the end of the day sirius would always come back to him (for him, in regulus’ mind). only now sirius is leaving for university and he’s going to live somewhere else. sirius is excited, regulus is not. sirius meets james and it’s love at first sight and sirius wont! shut! up! about! him! he doesn’t even spend the whole breaks at grimmauld !!!!! and regulus miss him, needs him, craves him, sleeps in his shirts, uses his toothbrush, cry-wanks over it, etc etc etc

regulus eventually attends the same university and ends up meeting james. he hates him, is jealous of him, obsessively observes him interacting with his brother, convinced that they’re fucking (<- they are), and he developes a perverse pseudo-incest self hating crush on james because 1. no one is immune to james, 2. he stole his brother away, 3. sirius likes james and regulus has been raised to follow his brothers footsteps/think like him. it’s basically pavlovian. he wants james because sirius has james, he wants james because sirius wants james, he wants to know what james is doing to his brother, jacking off to pretending he’s in his brother’s place. wants to ruin sirius��� life, wants to have sirius’ life, wants to be the only thing in sirius’ life. <- he’s also projecting his feelings for sirius onto james in a bad attempt at denial :/ pseudo-incest jegulus save me….

what we mostly yelled about in the gc is the concept of a fucked up throuple / love triangle typa situation where both brothers are sleeping with james, and james being the spoiled and greedy only child who wants the black brothers set. <- which turned into a conversation about slughorn and the slug club and the three of them being members…. and maybe even the possibility of james killing slughorn out of pure possessiveness. jame sort of treating them like his collector items, juggling both brothers, knowing there’s this repressed incestuous miserable yearning between them that neither of them will act on / and using james to get it out of their systems. he wouldn’t even want them to work out their issues… <- which is where the jersey would play a part…. james wearing sirius’ jersey while fucking regulus or vice versa. the blackcest of it all is sort of unspoken between the three of them, but they all know. 🤍 after james is killed by slughorn sirius and reg end up actually fucking for the first time after the funeral and then they never speak again… 🤍

So, update on that one post i made (that i did NOT expect to get so much attention) about wanting to write a fic about monk and survivor's parents and third sibling... yes I'm working on it!

It's taking a while though since I keep procrastinating and I want this first chapter to be as perfect as possible. But because I'm feeling nice, here's a little snip of the beginning of the first chapter, immediately after monk's intro!

Yes, the slugs will have dialogue, they have their own special language in my headcanon.

This fic will be primarily focused on family dynamics and might be a little.. "fierce" in terms of family relationships. This is a crumbling rat family and its not all cupcakes and rainbows... sorry, I like angst. I'm not 100% sure how harsh I wanna make this but just incase, if you find mildly abusive, controlling or broken families triggering, I would not recommend. this'll be mostly based off my own experience with my own family.

in my HC, Slugcats have a simple naming convention, similar to the way they're named in the campaigns, its usually names given by their family or peers based off their appearance or occupation/what they're known for.

The parents are named "Father Coral" for the pink slug and "Father Ivory" for the white slug. The third Sibling was simply called "the Blue One" before the incident where they were named "the Residual (pup)" after.

Most pups are named "the (Color) One" before they grow up and the slugs around them end up referring to them by what they're mostly known for. There is no official agreed name for each slugcat so usually some slugcats end up having multiple (nick)names.

Think that's all I want to say without spoiling the entire chapter... If you have questions, feel free to ask :D

idk what i did to make her face look so squished but considering this corrupted on me twice im not gonna play w/ it anymore... anyways

just wanted to do a lil doodle of savina and some things she enjoys / keeps with her / etc. finally designed her wand too! a little explanation for everything and some bonus info not pictured bc i ran out of layers:

point and laugh at her for being short. granted, the heels on her boots do help. i wanted to draw her looking a little more shy/quiet/tired. beneath the veneer she tries to present to others, she's struggling a lot and is really quite bashful. avoids sleep often or just can't sleep due to nightmares - sometimes ones that are prophetic or generally ominous, though she never knows what is and what isn't, and it makes her paranoid. her wand is made of hawthorn { i have my own lore for this oops } with a dragon heartstring core, 11 3/4", and has a handle made of marble, mother of pearl, and silver. { the flexibility thing still confuses me lol so i haven't picked one! } her sketchbook goes with her everywhere and was a birthday gift from her father, and the cover is embossed with her initials. just above it is a note she always keeps in her bag, the first little love note she ever received from sebastian. { it's proudly signed Bast, her nickname for him, and it is the first of what becomes Very Many } okay the rest is going under a read more so i don't clog anyone's dash!

she may not always carry the set of runes with her, but they were inherited from her mother. her mama is from norway and knows old norse and the elder and younger futharks, but pictured here is the elder futhark. something else she's very careful with is her mourning locket; it contains a small cutting of her twin sister's hair, along with a pressed forget-me-not. she's very careful about wearing it around & outside of hogwarts as she doesn't want to risk damaging or tarnishing it. she may not carry a full unicorn skull with her everywhere - though could you imagine - but she is very interested in the macabre and occult; she loves oddities and collects them herself, along with involvement with things like muggle spiritualism/contacting the dead/etc. her sketchbook also has a lot of drawings of the various specimens throughout hogwarts. perfume is something she'll always keep with her - her signature scent is a mix of almond, anise, candle smoke, a pinch of vanilla, and a touch of lavender. wispy, somewhat haunting, but with a lingering sweetness. some of her favorite treats are jelly slugs and skeletal sweets - i know skeletal sweets have been shown to be some sort of chocolate, i believe? but i liked the idea of them being gingerbread-y! each bite sounds like bones crunching. delightful! she is a lefty!! her patronus is a lamb, but later on when she becomes an animagus, her form takes that of a wolf. many a connotation here............ can't wait to explore it in fic and lore posting. i'm always happy to yap in dms or through asks too!

Now seeing the reblog I re-read it again and I can't help but ask you the permission to quote it during the fic. Not sure how yet, but the idea is someone reciting it to Kall in a moment of vulnerability. I'm happy to discuss the hows trying to avoid spoilers as well! It's a sona for the Divine Mortals AU. I'm not a bishop or anything, I'm just here. I'm a funky little duder ·:3

This was one of my first ventures into the realm of character design, I'm pretty happy with it

The animal I picked was the blue RED sea dragon, or glaucus atlanticus as I first heard of it

These puppies are pretty cool if I do say so myself. They're a type of sea slug (already a good start) and can EAT the nematocysts (stinging cells) from stuff like jellyfish and use it as their own through their cool little finger things... I can eat poisonous and/or venomous stuff to GROW STRONGER!!

The eyes were the one thing I knew I wanted from the get go. If you couldn't tell from my pfp, I like biblically accurate angels, they're cool. Also I made a joke that I had a bunch of eyes and decided it was canon lmao. I tried not to go overboard with it, there's only the eight you can see here, and decided not to put eyes all over the body. There's only eyes in places that would benefit an animal, front, back, and the tail to make up for the blind spots

The spiky things on the head are cerata! The little wiggly finger things in the pic. I can use them to show emotions, up for happy, down for unhappy, wiggly for various things

Oh! And the red mask shape is a reference to my discord pfp AND my old "brand". I mean, I still use it so maybe it's not old but whatever

I'll just list off some other stuff: Young adult, quite tall despite little guy energy (6'5). ABSOLUTELY a little gremlin, I'm in chaos cult after all. Scatter brained af, can't keep a train of thought. Basically, he is me, I am him, we are one

Uuuuh... Lore wise I don't have much. Only concrete thing is that one day I just said "forget this" and clawed my way out of the ocean evolution style. Maybe I'll draw that

one of my favorite things about subaru is actually how he's been shown to be quick on the draw to attack when he perceives danger against people he cares about (vs doll anomaly for haku, vs one of the ghost anomalies for mc, was ready to vs mc for lyca)

this isn't meant to be an insightful post i just think it would be cute and funny to put shosuba on a mission together and to have the anomaly attack and sho try to defend suba only for suba to get the attack in first

Richie’s first kiss happens a week after his fifteenth birthday in the alley behind the arcade. It’s nice; a little dry, innocent yet far from chaste, and incredibly awkward. It feels like they both read a manual on how to kiss and are now epically failing the practical exam. It does confirm the secret Richie has kept buried deep inside of him for as long as he can remember though. 

He’s gay. Totally, completely, one hundred percent into dudes and dick, and fuck if that isn’t the most terrifying truth he’s ever had to face. Even worse than the fucking clown. 

Until this moment, there had always been a shining beacon of hope that maybe he wasn’t different from him friends, maybe he wasn’t one of the worst possible kinds of fucked up a man can be according to his shithole town. There’s nothing left of that hope now thanks to the tall dark stranger attached to his lips. Fuck, he doesn’t even know his name. Someone who does this much damage to his psyche should at least have a name for him to cuss out from here to eternity.

He’ll probably never see him again after this moment, just a stranger passing through Derry with no reason to ever return. Definitely not related to Bowers, thank fuck, or anyone else in the area if the way he so confidently pressed Richie against the brick wall in broad daylight says anything. 

Soon this will be nothing but a memory and the sentimental part of Richie that he usually tries to smother with crude jokes and incessant talking reaches out for every detail it can consume. 

The soft sandy brown hair that peeks out from under a woolen cap and brushes teasingly against Richie’s forehead any time either of them move. 

The rough corduroy jacket clenched in his fists, hands holding tightly to this dream for lack of knowing where else to put them. 

The big hands, warm against his neck, that block the cold March air from touching him. 

The way they gently tug him down an inch or two so the stranger’s feet can stay firmly planted on the ground, heels digging into the last remnants of snow like they have nowhere else to be. 

The bright blue eyes somehow icy clear around wide pupils yet also warm once they separate; filled with mirth at this secret they have carved into both their hands, pressed tight together to never see the light of day again.

“Richie, what the fuck?”

Oh shit. Oh fuck.

"Fucker! Get the fuck away from him you cock sucking-" Eddie's voice fades briefly as the stranger simultaneously winks, shoves Richie harder against the wall, and takes off down the back of the alley, jumping the fence in a move far smoother than his kissing skills.

"Yeah you better run, bitch!"

Eddie stands beside him a second later, screaming obscenities down the empty alley like a bullying Chihuahua yapping at an intruder. He turns toward Richie who still stands frozen and slumped against the wall as his short life passes before his eyes. Of course the first time he kisses a dude he gets caught. Of course it's Eddie who catches him. What a goddamn cosmic fucking joke his existence is.

"You okay, man? Did he get a hit in?" Eddie's eyes scan his face looking for something Richie thinks must be written all over him, painted red between his fading freckles. Whatever he finds, however Richie looks post-kiss, must pass his tests because he pulls back his arm and slugs Richie in the arm. "Whatchya say to this one to piss him off so much, huh?"

It takes Richie far too long to catch on. He stares down at Eddie with his mouth open like a goddamn fish as it finally comes together in his useless hairless ball sack of a brain.

Eddie looks mildly concerned bordering on suspicious and it flips a switch in Richie that brings him around.

"He-uh wanted a shot at your ma, but I told him I was too much man for her already." Not his best work but it does the trick as Eddie rolls his eyes and turns back toward the street with a grunt.

"Come on asswipe, you owe me a hot cocoa, fucker."

Richie lets a breath slowly pass over his chapped lips, the air in front of him fogging up with the heat he expels and with it the last of his terror. He watches Eddie's ridiculous pom pom hat covered head disappear around the corner before glancing one last time back the way the stranger had run.

He brings two fingers to his mouth, pressing the memory deep into his skin before he runs after Eddie; away from the scary uncertainty of the future and toward a mostly carefree childhood of hot cocoa and initials carved on a bridge.

uh so I forgot which post this was now but you know the one where you were talking about developing the lore and you attached that one eggman meme where he says ,"I miss my wife tails, I miss her a lot" or something like that, and it was said in reference to how AM is in your AU

Is it in reference about AM towards BE or Ellen, Benny, Gorrister, Nimdok and (somewhat because dude got slugged) Ted? I can see it being both because I swear you've joked(?) in some posts about them being spouses, but I can also see it being about those five if he were to see BE's five and miss his.

My pea brain cannot understand which or neither it may be, too much Madcom hyperfixating slaughtered my brain and then IHNMAIMS came along and finished it off

(p.s - is it agreed that Ellison made - or at least had some involvement since he voiced AM - AM so cunty in the game, like the way AM calls Ted sweetheart and baby screams cunty)

Oah an ask I receive about this au :,], I'll gladly answer what I understood was asked! This au is still a wip, thus why I keep mentioning everything as a 'concept' , so thing's may change later.

First off, this AU is based off the ending where both all the original survivors (except Ted as he gets slugged) and the two other allied mastercomputers die. It's basically a continuation of what will happen with the Luna colony and AM in his considerable solitude, BUT with the addition of my Ocs.

The eggman post made reference to a route where AM slowly gets convinced by BE's survivors to reconcile with her, as the story itself is divided into a prologue (that explains the background of the moon colony, how BE escaped to Earth, met AM and eventually kinda had a relationship going on with him before their eventual separation), and the main story (where the humans arrive, this route OR the others happen, each leading to a different ending).

AM feels jealous towards BE's survivors because of two reasons: they resemble his just like you said, and they are being treated just like he once was by BE. So AM basically has a mindset of: "oh these humans that look just like the survivors I spent 109 years torturing are living in paradise AND being treated nicely by my ex (that a part of me still loves), how can this hell possibly get worse".

I'm not sure if this explanation was clear enough, as there's SO MANY details I didn't mention for this to make complete sense, but that's the idea the au follows so far.

In conclusion: evil computer fumbles his only possibility of a romantic interest ever, gets replaced by 5 young humans (ALL WITH MOM/DAD ISSUES) that help their new mom get thru grief + are given the chance to live their biggest dreams and be free in return. After a few years the evil computer reaches out to them, n they are given the chance to either help him with his evil plan, help him get his 'wife' back or act against him.

I know that it may seem like my AM is mischaracterizing the original, but since his program gets corrupted in the au to the point of letting him express love a bit easier, I envisioned him as a cunty, stressed and sassy villain that still holds all his original hate inside ofc. Harlan was so real bc of those lines 😩)

a melodic bell chimes as the door of serval’s workshop bursts open. “emergency! emergency!”  you look up from the counter, pausing your tidying of the toolbox. a blonde child is waving her arms at you enthusiastically. “what’s up, hook?”  “christmas! christmas!” perched on a stool, serval stops strumming her guitar, curious. “christmas? what’s wrong with christmas?” hook points an accusing finger at you. “it’s almost christmas but you’re~ still~ single~!” your mouth gapes open.

hook as your matchmaker ftw. basically it's going on wintry dates w/ belobog guys, so expect more shennanigans! all stc tho! given the timeframe i have, i think it'll be a shorter piece probably.

after this, i have ideas on what i wanna try next. these are for genshin since my childe fic is lonely huhu (个_个)

1. fantasy rpg au! :a guild of wonderful, and wacky, whimisical warriors (stc)

characters will have different rpg roles! e.g. warrior, mage, bard etc. and the reader recruits random characters. imagine healer qiqi who keeps forgetting who her allies are so she heals her enemies, or mage neuvillette and his apprentice furina and its giving mob psycho where furina is reigan and neuvillette is mob

2. private investigators au! :teyvat sleuth operatives (stc)

this is a rotting draft so i thought why not pick it up again. i have some stuff for alhaitham and wriothesley so here's some of what i wrote cuz tis' the season for joy☆⌒(ゝ。∂):

alhaitham - i was thinking estranged childhood friends. so. angst and arguing maybe. idk why alhaitham fits the childhood friend trope so good.

you turn towards the window overlooking the dark cityscape. endless cars swim along the slippery roads, dreaming of a warmer destination. shoals of blinking lights ferry up the current of the black night sea. the mechanical clicking of keyboards clogs your ears. the office is fairly empty, except for you and one other occupant. worse, it's the one person you never want to be alone with.  and, as luck would have it, it just so happens that that very same person is here.

wriothesley - why is wriothesley british coded anyways im thinking friendly coworker with lots of action pewpewpewp! spoilers: he rides a motorbike bc i say so

wriothesley crosses his arms, raising an eyebrow. “it's a guy i’ve been tailing recently. turns out, he frequents this area.” “i see. what does he look like?” “if i recall: male, estimated to be in his 30’s, balding, green eyes, last seen in a grey hoodie, about 168cm.” you gaze at the desolate street behind wriothesley, concentrating. male, balding, green eyes, grey hoodie… about 168cm, and...? “uuh, wasnt that just him?” you point at the man slugging behind wriothesley, lazily jogging by the two of you. the bald crater makes his head look like a nest. wriothesley follows your gesture of direction and his mouth droops open. his eyes chase the suspect, leaning over, but forgets to move his body. wriothesley almost falls off his stool. no way.

the other characters i have are: childe as your rival(he works at a rival agency), and ayato(?) as your boss. totally not an excuse to imagine uniforms, harnesses, and rolled up sleeves hahacbhwfcuqwdjuia this is all stc ofc! maybe i'll sketch some art too reeehhehehe

3. or. i could just write more smut lol (will only be posted on my ao3) here are some short prompts from my ideas list:

☆ they are dying but they want you so bad (im insane) ☆ fairytale retellings where characters, or reader, are the villain. so like red riding hood and a big bad wolf (what am i yapping about) ☆ characters being your "star-crossed" lover so lots of angst (good for the soul and mind)
