You being curious, wandering through places you shouldn't, stumbled upon a large ship that crashed into a mountain. You later realized that the ship wasn't the only weird thing here, there was also a giant silver robot with wings, how cool!

Any sane person would find that terrifying, but you weren't sane, kinda. You are, but you're just one big daredevil.

When you first showed yourself to him he almost squashed you under his foot, but let you live just as company after making sure you were a spy from the Autobots.

You soon found out who he was, Starscream. And you also knew the whole situation he was in from how much he talks aloud, clearly he's been alone for a while.

You also found out he can't fly because his "T-cog" is missing, whatever that was. You realized how similar you two were, both a bit sly and unpredictable. You found yourself liking him, and his company surprisingly, however much he may rant or be dramatic.

Sitting on a desk while he tries to fix something, you watch him, before looking down at a small piece of paper, a pencil in your hand.

You jump slightly as he throws some metal pieces on the desk. "So now you're trying to play dodgeball with me?" Considering how close those huge metal pieces were to you, he could have seriously hurt you if they landed close to you.

"No, human." He leaned down so that his face was level with you on the desk. "Do you even know what dodgeball is?" He stammered for a moment before straightening up to his full height, wings flaring. "Of course I do."

You smirked, knowing that he most certainly doesn't. "Then what is it?" He looked at you for a moment before muttering. "Dodging balls...?"

"Bingo!" You pointed your pencil at him. "I never doubted you." You were mocking him, but he let it slide this time, he wasn't in the mood to argue after trying and failing to fix something.

"come on! You're no fun, failing to fix something doesn't mean you can't try later." He grumbled folding Hsi arms together. "I've tried before you even came here."

You smiled. "Maybe you're just tired, rest a little and try later. When you're refreshed, come back and fix it." He stared at you for a while, leaning against the desk, he sighed, accepting the option even if his pride tried not to listen to you, but you were right.

He found a chair and sat down by the desk, resting his head close to yours. "You're burned out, Starscream." You heard him huff, looking away slightly. "Come here." You spread your arms and walked over to his face.

You hugged his lower jaw, and he looked at you with wide eyes. It took his a while before he relaxed, realizing that maybe this wasn't so bad.

He subconsciously leaned closer, closing his eyes, letting his guard down after so long. You felt how warm he was, and you snuggled up more. You were comfortable with him, enjoying just being together, no words needed.

You suddenly felt him pick you up, holding you next to his cheek, feeling you, and you feeling him. You closed your eyes, enjoying the moment.

It was almost like he was recharging, you being his source of energy. After a while he leaned away, then put you on his head. You sat on his head, then wrapped your arms and legs around his red antenna like thing on his head.

He grabbed the device again, trying to fix it. And finally, he managed. He then put it down on the desk, glad he managed to fix it at last.

He grabbed you off his head, putting you down on the desk again next to the device. "I knew that would work. What would you do without me? Lord Starscream." You bowed down to hide the smirk and laugh that was threatening to leave your mouth.

He smirked at you, then got up from the desk to do other things, probably scheme again.

Hours probably passed, when he passed by an unworking monitor, he saw something on his antenna. A sticky note.

He took it off and read what it said. "Idiot"...

So he's just been walking around with that? No wonder you were laughing every time you saw him...

The depth of the Beetles brothers

My favourite sibling relationship in KND is definitely the Beetles brothers and I feel like they don't get the recognation they deserve, they're very adorable and is by far the most healthy sibling relationship but it does have some interesting aspects. Lemme break it down:

🍼; Wally had to step in to parent Joey

I find it interesting how the normally irresponsable Wally is suddenly the most responsible boy when his brother is concerned, almost like he's fulfilling the role his parents failed to fulfill. Wally's parents are oblivious at best and painfully irresponsible as seen in the D.O.D.G.E.B.A.L.L episode, where both parents doesn't even react to a grown and elderly wizard attacking their baby, they don't even get mad at him. I know it's "haha adults are being dumb and useless 😂" but this doesn't paint them in a good light since Joey needs someomeone to rely on and clearly he can't rely on his parents (I'll talk about it later), Wally on the other hand, he protects him, scolds him, looks after him and raise him, despite being the eldest brother, he acts more like a stern but loving father than a brother. The guy went berserk when he thought his baby brother was hurt, a clear contrast to their parents' reactions when Joey was in real danger. Wally became the "adult" Joey needed at such a young age...

🧸; Wally is Joey's comfort and safe source

What I find most endearing in their relationship is that Wally of all people is Joey's source of comfort. He knows how to take care of himself as seen in D.O.D.G.E.B.A.L.L but this trait is apparently forgotten because in S.A.F.E.T.Y he doesn't use his dodgeball skills but actually, the trait wasn't forgotten, it's because he feels safe and protected with Wally. Remember his brother was knocked out when he was fighting against the wizard while his parents did nothing but in S.A.F.E.T.Y he didn't even tried to crawl away from danger, he's either paralyzed or searching/waiting for his brother but after seeing his older brother, he's cheerful and smiling again.

So when his source of comfort is shattered (when Wally gets mad at him), he just crawls away from him while crying and refuses to hear his apology. And this is despite the fact that Joey has seen his mom get mad (who's scarier than his brother when angered) at Wally and didn't cried. And this makes sense because his mom isn't his source of comfort like Wally.

Joey probably considers Wally his best friend, as he's always there for him when he needs it and gets to be vulnerable.

Similar to the previous point but now more focused on the parents. They're trying, their dad works 2-3 jobs and the mom is a housewife but.... they're very irresponsable. They let a baby fight a wizard (I know they were tied but they didn't even tried to break free or telling the wizard to back off) and let a baby wander around all alone without bothering to look after him. It's one thing to be busy and to try but it's another to leave a baby who's at oldest a year old, see his brother without thinking of the possibilities he might get run over, kidnapped, get lost, crushed, etc... Yes, he knows how to defend himself but he's still a naïve baby, this would make Joey finding safety in Wally more understandable.

🥧; He brings the best side in Wally

It's undeniable Wally is a good person but he always does his hardest to keep his sweeter side hidden, even with Kuki, so when it comes to apologizing.... He pretty much needs to go through painful experiences or get his pride in shambles to do it but with Joey it's a different case. He's not only openly affectionate with him (when he always avoid to do it with his friends and sometimes acts disgusted when he receives affection) but he genuinely apologizes to Joey in front of his friend/ally and the villain, he shows vulnerability in an environment he knows his pride would be destroyed and taken advantage by the villain of the episode but he doesn't care because his brother comes first. He calls Hoagie out when he asked Joey to dance, whispering him he's doing it because he wanted to be nice. Wally is not the nicest kid and it speaks volume of how much he cares about his brother's feelings when he wants to show his softer side.

And let's not forget how he spent the whole episode using his own body as a shield for Joey, not caring about the competition he's been trying to win because his baby brother is hurt, etc... When Joey is in the picture, Wally drops all his foolishness and becomes serious and responsable.

🍟; Wally's parental role is taking a toll on him

It wasn't really focused on the show but from what we saw, it can be assumed he's also playing a fatherly role to Joey but... in the scenes he was shown crying, he takes it a bit too far, he's reacting how Joey should be (the cut was fake but still) and has a meltdown after destroying the robot because his brother is hurt but he reacts more like he failed Joey.

And I get him, because in the whole episode he was a jerk to him, made him cry, Joey didn't really accepted his apology, he indirectly caused Joey's "cut" and is bleeding. None of it were positive interactions at all and it kept getting worse, even if he protects him, it feels like it's not enough. If it weren't for Hoagie, Wally wouldn't even forgive himself at all and would think he's a failure of a brother because he couldn't prevent his little brother from getting hurt.

This one isn't that big of a story but it's still interesting. While he has a positive relationship with Joey, it's implied he's jealous of him and we can see that in S.A.F.E.T.Y when Joey unintentionally stole the spotlight from him, telling him to go home and eventually snaps at him.

And in D.O.D.G.E.BA.L.L he might be secretly in denial about not really defeating the wizard but Joey. When Hoagie tries to inform him, he immediately refuses to hear him because deep down he knows Joey did it.

In a blink-or-miss moment, Wally does his silly dance before preparing himself and in the next few scenes, Joey is seen the make the same dumb dance as Wally for the whole episode (which Wally is completely unaware of).

Joey's reason to be here in the first place is because he wanted to see his brother in action and to root for him. He does have/mimick some of Wally's habits such as being a great fighter, being aggressive to enemies he can take down, being bored of his dad's stories and the silly dance.

🍊; Wally is actually the father figure Joey needed

They may bicker and stuff but it's clear they love each other. With their parents being irresponsable and Joey not having an adult to rely on, Wally is the closest thing he has to a father figure. He's not the perfect one because of his anger issues but considering his age, it's justified but despite that, Wally is a good influence and presence in Joey's life. Wally takes great care of him and is always gentle when handling him even when he's mad at him (like carefully putting him on the floor instead of dropping him on the floor). Yes, Wally can be very harsh on him but it was mostly out of love, anger and concern (he could've been more tactful about it but his anger was understandable). And Wally has more emotional responsability than most adults in KND as he apologizes to Joey and makes up for his harsh behavior with hugs protecting him from danger. And his actions are what made Joey forgive him, he rejected his apology but after seeing how Wally will put himself at risk so he can be safe was what made him realize that Wally does care about him even when he gets mad at him.

It can be unfair for Wally to fulfill such a heavy role at such a young age but it's clear he doesn't regret it and knows no one else would look after him. He never took it out on Joey and this shows the maturity Wally has.

- All three characters were directly named Stolas so Stans tried to start the hashtags #OGStolas #REALSTOLAS #BESTSTOLAS. In return all three fandoms agreed on the tag of #SHIT-LAS

- Fan art depicting Blitz and Octavia hanging out with the other better version of Stolas.

- Fan art of HB Stolas being banned from the Stolas's club + art work of him getting his shit wrecked. Even Brandon Rogers retweeted one piece of art.

- Viv coming out and throwing a fit saying her Stolas was the best. All three fandoms weren't nice and tore her to shreds ranging from her newest antics (making in character autobiographies of her male characters that cost 900$ bucks) to her oldest ones.

- The Stolas one was the third in the series; the first was Alastor and the second was Val.

Hi so to another blog, I sent in the request for gymteacher!patrick but now that I think about it, I feel like he’s one of those adults who secretly hates kids fgccjjjgffhhhj. It’s the whole vibe I got from whenever he was talking to Tashi and Lily was brought up like yeah he could say he feels awkward about the fact those two had a kid…….but I also just feel he hates kids 💀. It’s giving “fuck them kids, and fuck you too!”

ohhh i actually love the gymteacher!patrick hcs you sent @saintzweig. mars ate that up. if you haven’t read that, go do that!!!

i am inordinately fond of the idea that patrick doesn't like children because he can't wrap his mind around them as a concept. a tiny being who is still developing? continually learning about life? dependent on the people around them? it's overwhelming for him to process any of it, but it's all he can think about it in their presence. it also drums up the memories of his own childhood he'd rather forget. feelings he thought he long buried, but persist against his inclination.

so by proxy...i love the idea of elementary school teacher! patrick who took the job because it was his only choice. patrick who has been down on his luck and desperately needs to find a stable source of income, at least for the time being. teaching is not his first choice (and he's damn sure he is going to lose his mind), but it's the only job he could find that pays well. if he's going to be miserable anyway, he reasons he may as well be getting a paycheck out of it.

he goes in, does his job, and leaves. the other teachers are a bore, and he's to uneasy around the children to actually get close with them. ironically, his supposed indifference to the children makes them love him even more. he chocks it up to the childish curiosity of wanting to know more about the new, distant teacher, but the truth? they just like him. they like the way his language isn't filtered and how he mumbles under his breath. even the way he never breaks into that primordially passively assertive voices the other teachers have or never seems to have a solid plan. his behavior is new and captivating, but also makes him feel like an equal. in a way, patrick isn't a teacher they want to impress, but a friend they want to make. so while his goal was to avoid having any of these kids form an attachment to him, he's failed extraordinarily.

not to say he can avoid forming any attachments himself. i mean he sees these kids everyday, it's only natural to feel some sort of connection to them. it doesn't have to mean anything (at least this is what he tells himself). so what if he knows how to tie Lucy's shows the way she likes it when they come undone during soccer. or remembers to remind Aiden to take off his glasses before it's time for dodgeball. he's perceptive with details. basically has something in his head for every student, but wouldn't anyone notice (well again...what he tells himself). he's allowed to take some interest in their lives, learn about what they like or think. it's not a crime, nor does it have to mean anything. this is just a job and he still doesn't like children (he's started to repeat this to himself like a mantra).

the year goes on and his interest expands, much to his displeasure. they're growing on him, he can't deny it. he cares for all of his students, and while the concept of children still makes him uneasy, he's been able to push it down. focus on the joy the kids bring in the moment, rather than what their existence means for him. he enjoys being around all of them. especially the little, quiet kid who doesn't really talk much. always a little behind in gym, but really is sweet. and i mean just wait until he meets you...that kid's mom.

Also, the red cardinal he has with him 24/7, is an ex-member of the woodland critters and is seeking redemption by following Quickdraw everywhere to see what can it do to redeem itself through his actions.

It was a Tuesday when Dean walked into class with a cut under his eye, freckled cheek swollen and red.

The leaves had just begun to float from their branches to the dry grass below, coating cars, pools, and just about anything they could find purchase on. It was barely a couple of months into your final year of middle school and, for the last three years, the extent of your friend’s trauma—to your understanding—had been in the form of reprimands and orders barked from car windows. To many in Lawrence, that was just how you parented.

You understood John wasn’t the best, loud, authoritative, a bit scary, and you did your best to avoid him, or at least stay respectful, but this had been the first time you’d seen damage… And other people saw it too. He slumped down into his desk next to you, the teacher sparing him a glance, but nothing more as he watched the after-bell stragglers claim their desks too. Moisture tickled the corner of your eyelids and you weren’t sure if it was from sadness or anger. You’d been spanked before by your father for being a little too fussy or mouthy or something stupid you didn’t deserve to be hit for, but nothing like this. You tried to be hopeful—maybe he fell or something—but you knew. You always would.

“Stop.” That was all Dean said, like he could sense your want to say something in the way sympathy poured from your expression. He didn’t want to acknowledge it, which was just how Dean operated. Shove it down, down, down, until you forget about it or find a way to deal with it. Confronting it wasn’t an option. At least not right now. Despite knowing each other for a couple of years, he’d remained closed off from everyone but Sam. You picked up on that quickly and you wouldn’t dream of changing it, you just hoped he’d realize one day that you were his friend, you cared, and you’d fight the world for him too.

The rest of the day you tried to curb your sad eyes from lingering on him for too long in each class you shared. Gym was especially tough with the way Dean unscrupulously pelted your fellow classmates with bright red dodgeballs. You watched as the opposite team winced and cried out upon impact, skin red and stinging, and anger blooming in some of the other boys. It was when one of Dean’s throws collided with the side of someone’s head, hand instantly gripping their ear and tears in their eyes, that the coach finally stepped in. 

The whistle was loud and startled you, but Dean just stood there, chest heaving, eyes locked on the crying boy.

“Hey!” the coach shouted. “Take a lap Winchester!”

Dean didn’t budge. His jaw was clenched so hard you thought it might lock permanently. Your anxiety started to peak when you spotted the coach making his way toward him, stride purposeful and intent on getting the boy to do what he said—which you knew wouldn’t end well if Dean’s closed fist was any indication. 

So you closed the gap between you, interrupted the coach’s path, and wrapped your fingers around his wrist. He snapped his attention toward you, bright green irises surrounded by bloodshot sclera locked onto your face. Anger remained in his expression and he tensed against your grip.

“Dean. Go,” you said as firmly as you could, urgency in your eyes. He spared a small glance at the approaching coach, nostrils flaring, and snatched his arm away from you so suddenly that you almost lost your balance. You watched him walk off toward the locker room and that satisfied the coach enough to focus his attention on the child who’d been on the receiving end of Dean’s rage. You clasped your hands together so they wouldn’t shake and tried to ignore the curious eyes that remained on you.

The last of the day carried on, Dean slumped in his chair beside you for the classes you saw him in, no interest in conversing, and when the bell rang for the end of the day, you darted to the lunch room. You managed to convince one of the lunch ladies who liked you to let you grab an ice cream cup from the fridge and, with an unceremonious drop of coins onto the register, you darted out with a ‘thank you’ tossed over your shoulder.

You dodged through the crowded hallways with your books, ice cream perched on top of them, toward where Dean’s last class was. The room was empty by the time you got there and your eyes searched for him, fearful you’d missed him completely until you spotted his flannel at the end of the sidewalk. 

“Dean!” you called just before you caught up to him. Breathless, you kept pace with him and offered him the ice cream. He stopped. You stopped. Dean looked down at the offering, expression softening for the first time all day.

“What’s this for?” he asked, monotone.

“For you,” you responded.

“Why?” The word was tinged with a smidgen of venom, likely unintentional because when he looked up at you, his expression made you frown. Like he didn’t deserve the nicety.

“Ice cream makes me happy when I’m sad,” you offered softly. “And I don’t want you to be sad.”

“I’m not sad,” Dean stated, an edge to his tone again, an attempt to push you away from him.

All you could say was, “Okay.” I see you, but okay. It’d be a common theme between the two of you over the years.

You stood before him, ice cream cup cold on your palm, as he contemplated whether to take it from you or not… Until he did. Dean’s fingers gently grabbed the item from you, careful to not drop the spoon teetering on the top, and sighed.

“I gotta pick up Sammy,” he said, just shy of a question.

“I’ll come with you,” you responded. Dean nodded. You adjusted your backpack and books, a gentle smile still on your lips. A breeze passed over the both of you when you’d begun your trek to Sam’s school, leaves floating down around you and a gentle rattle from the chain link fence beside you. It didn’t take him long to open the ice cream, digging the spoon into the softened substance and taking a bite. You tried not to look at him, unsure if it’d send him back into that sour mood by accident, but you were happy to see those lines on his forehead release. 

You didn’t look his way at all until he said, “Pie.”

“Hmm?” you asked.

“Pie makes me happy,” he said, taking another bite of ice cream. Your smile widened.

“What kind of pie?”

He was trying and you could appreciate that.

“...Apple,” he confessed.

“My momma makes really good apple pie,” you said. “Next time she makes some, I’ll bring you a piece.” Dean huffed a small laugh, your heart fluttering at the sound—happy to see the tension lighten.

“Alright,” he managed, finally shifting his eyes to you. “Thanks.”

“Yeah,” you said.

The rest of your walk was spent in a more peaceful silence, the rigidness of his shoulders finally eased into a relaxed slouch. If any of the other kids had paid you any mind, they never said, but even if they had, it was never about them. It was always about you and Dean. It’d take a long time for his rage to ease, even slightly, but he always did his best to never aim it at you or Sam. You were the only two people that helped him feel normal—not like some extension of John and his ambition. Not some little soldier.

You’d always wanted Dean to be happy. He deserved to be happy.
