for the homophobia: mostly really seems like people overreacting to jokes made, mostly back when the game was much smaller. there has been recently mods not effectively moderating stuff, including homophobic stuff, so while its mostly an overreaction, they still have fucked up some

for the friends with pedo: i cant say a lot, i saw a screenshot of a supposed pedo being in the Discord but not enough information either way to confirm or deny if its true

someone also spread the rumor that Zerum sent Gianni voice lines to do that made him uncomfortable enough to consider quitting Pressure, that just ended up being a complete lie lmao

also there was just more people bringing up Zerum and Fishbun harrassment and shipping and Sebastian in dresses being banned in the Discord and stuff, though thats all old news

now Zeal's Twitter account has been completely changed to an Urbanshade account, and it was announced hes selling Pressure. right now current theories are

a) he actually is selling Pressure

b) this is a rushed, stressed decision made due to the harassment the dev and mod teams, meaning that this decision may be reversed later

c) someone hacked his account to fuck with fans or, more likely, scam people

also from what people (and i lmao) think this seems more likely its either a stressed decision or a hacker due to the worse grammar than usual

right now it has been confirmed that he is trying to sell Pressure. I personally still leave open the possibility that this could be a rushed decision, but I will not try to claim that that's whats fact, and encourage others not to too

Now Zeal has deleted the sale tweets and retweeted that it is not for sale and that he's being cared for. I hope he does well and takes a hiatus to calm down before he does anything related to Pressure for now

OKAY SO @lonleyzodiac and i have been developing an extremely silly heavily greek mythology-inspired au where the ninja + (mostly) pre-DR EMs (along with characters like misako, harumi and pixal (though pixal’s moreso just a patron than an actual goddess)) are all gods, goddesses and deities!! it’s called the ambrosia wine (AW for short) au, both because of the madds buckley song ambrosia wine and a specific plotline in the AU that i’ll get to in this infodump!!

basic info before the cut that’s semi-important for if you want to keep reading and stuff: they/them pronouns for AW!lloyd and the FSM, the ships in this au are conductor (kai x jay x zane, important to the equivalent of skybound), lost/geode (cole x geo, important to. the flipping eros & psyche retelling that happens with them), royalty/jadewing (vania x harumi) and garmasako

anyways uhhhh here’s a massive infodump about it!! this was a draft from a while ago that i decided to finish now so ya

firstly i’ll get into the gods themselves, one very important thing to note is that most of the characters are gods of several things and sometimes characters will be the gods of the same domains as eachother (e.g. both lloyd and misako are gods of intelligence, but lloyd’s domain focuses more on strategy and misako’s focuses more on memory and education). i won’t get into the ToE elemental masters too much but they are gods, just more minor. also something funny from a lot of mythologies that we put in is that sometimes gods will be the gods of some incredibly random stuff + patron gods of places and things

again a lot of the worldbuilding, as well as the plot itself, is heavily inspired by greek mythology

lloyd: deity of life, energy, strategy and intelligence

cole: god of earth, death and music

jay: god of lightning, storms, craftsmanship, repair, beauty and love

kai: god of fire, blacksmithing, the sun and war

nya: goddess of the sea, sea creatures, water in general and rain

zane: god of ice, snow, the cold, archery and the moon

wu: god of creation and mortals

garmadon: god of chaos and destruction

pixal: patron of mortals (though not a goddess of them) and just someone who likes to handle mortal affairs, especially when the others can’t be bothered

FSM: literal god of gods, creator of the realms + many of the gods/figures (except from misako, geo, harumi, arin, sora and wyldfyre because they were once mortal)

misako: goddess of intelligence and scribing, patron goddess of historians, researchers and literature

morro: god of the wind and souls, has some power over storms but ehhhh that’s kinda iffy

harumi: goddess of bugs and revenge, ferrywoman of the cursed/departed realms alongside vania (psychopomp)

geo: god of art

vania: ferrywoman of the cursed/departed realms, helps comfort the souls onboard the boat

currently i have two stories/myths mapped out that i might??? write but i don’t like writing multichapters all that much so have them in this. format

1. THE PLOTLINE THAT GAVE THIS AU ITS NAME

PICTURE THIS. you're cole. patron god of shintaro (and stiix but that doesnt matter rn). your best friend, jay, is a beauty + love god. cool. fun. and then you fall for a mortal devotee of yours, geo. (the following is largely copy and pasted from a discord server im in

that’s what happens!! jay, being the insane (/aff) god of beauty he is (equivalent of aphrodite), recognises cole’s massive crush on geo and, when geo’s pretty much fully alone because he’s still horribly treated for being a geckle/munce hyrbid, comes to him and is like “heyyyyyyyy so uhh you’re kinda doomed to marry a horrible monster”. cole’s been sending his blessings and his luck to geo in exchange for the offerings he gives him (they often are crystals and gems that he finds while working) and they help geo escape shintaro and seek out this “horrible monster”

surprise surprise he finds the “monster” and it’s cole!! it’s worth noting that geo reciprocates cole’s feelings, though to a slightly lesser extent (though that’s not saying much, as cole is HEAD OVER HEELS for this mortal) and they chat for a bit, actually fall in love and maybe even kiss but idk but cole ends up leaving

jay and kai start SCHEMING and come up with an idea to test if geo’s worthy enough for cole: to put him through trials, essentially torture this poor mortal cole fell in love with, but geo through his insane luck (and a few of the other gods because they’re also kinda sick of jay and kai (but mainly jay) doing stuff like this) ends up beating all the challenges and yayyy him and cole live happily ever after!!!!

geo, in true psyche fashion, winds up becoming a god - the god of art :3

cole is also the ruler of the spectral lands (cursed + departed realms) so. they rule together

2. YURI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this takes place a little after cole and geo’s whole deal, by now geo’s pretty used to his new life

cole also has eyes for another one of his devotees, but this time it’s in a platonic way: queen vania of shintaro. she gives him flippin awesome offerings and is DEVOTED so when she dies cole surprises her by making her into a PSYCHOPOMP ON THE DESTINY’S TRAIL (the equivalent of the river styx)

but however who’s also on the destiny’s trail?? harumi! so cole decides to plonk her on the boat with harumi to be a ferrywoman. this is because jay pulled him aside and was like “DUDE put her with rumi i KNOW they’ll have chemistry” and at this point the gods have learnt to not doubt jay when he says people have chemistry, he is a love god after all so ya. vania’s tasked with comforting the souls of the dead that they transport. harumi at this point only really has two friends: geo, because they’re nearby eachother and geo was pretty much immediately drawn to her when he became a god, and lloyd, a deity she likes to bully (in jest) for the funsies (note: there’s no llorumi in this, lloyd is aroace)

at first, vania and harumi either don’t like eachother or just don’t mind eachother. however after spending more and more time together, they grow closer and vania finds herself falling in love with her. she fell hard but harumi fell harder ig

and yeah they do eventually get together!!

i will make more stories/myths for this eventually that i might post about!

anyways for another thing, here are the places the main gods are the patrons of!!

FSM, wu, garmadon, lloyd and misako: practically worshipped everywhere with really no set location that they’re the patron gods of?? potentially just ninjago

cole: shintaro, stiix and spectral lands

kai: ignacia and the surrounding area

jay: cloud kingdom

nya: merlopia

zane: never realm and small communities in the birch forest

morro: stiix and spectral lands (him and cole are sharing ok)

the gods are worshipped everywhere, but these are the places where they’re worshipped the most + places where they’re officially the patrons of ya

some misc notes:

- jay is genderfluid, and mortals in the au universe interpret him like this to represent how beauty can be anything (and also because genderfluid jay is peak)

- the name ‘destiny’s trail’ was made by @geoxstxrs!!! BANGER NAME

- misako practically yoinks geo as her kid after she hears about everything he went through as a mortal

- there’s rgb siblings here

- i don’t really have any plans for the DR kids YET, one idea i had is that arin and sora were mortals that lloyd took on as proteges but then arin went off with ras like in canon? idk yet!!

- fritz, spitz and bonzle were mortal kids that were in need so cole and geo basically yoinked them as their own kids

- jay and nya are besties, so are jay and cole

- nya is usually referred to as the ‘lady of the ocean/sea’ by mortals because they’re terrified of her wrath, similar to how many worshippers of persephone referred to her in ancient greece

- the goddess you should really worry about in terms of wrath is misako but eh nya’s also terrifying (misako is lovely but can also be TERRIFYING when she wants to. oh well we love her anyways go queen)

Alterhumans! My advice for if you don't know whether your identity is voluntary or involuntary (from personal experience)

This is from something I was having a conversation about in a discord server that I felt worth sharing here what I said. Below in the quotation marks is a near direct copy paste of it for you. Mostly geared towards therians, but any alterhuman or even maybe others could use this advice for you or others you know to help figure things out.

I did not expect to actually be asked questions! I'm surprised! I'm well aware a lot of people have issues with me and I have taken steps to address them. For the stuff I do like about DoL uhhhh...oh God..uh...

Well okay, I've always stated in the server and in-general that I'm a huge fan of 4 NPCs. Bailey, Gwylan, Harper and Eden. So I'll start with those!

Bailey and Eden obviously have history, having been childhood friends, so I find their dynamic and what they are in the world super interesting. Eden fled from his trauma (He has CPTSD, for those that care), while Bailey stayed to seek revenge (You can find him blackmailing Quinn in-game). That instantly to me creates interesting dynamics and real-world parallels! Bailey is also obviously here contributing to the abuse and suffering that's felt in town.

Gonna respond to your answers one by one because wowza, there's a lot to go through. Gotta say first though, shaking my hands with you so hard on finding Eden and Bailey dynamics with each other and the town so damn interesting. The way they responded to their trauma respectively says a LOT about their characters; but also, I've always been a sucker of the 'cycle of violence' theme which made me love Bailey even more than I already do 💖

Harper feeds into tropes I love. He's so weird. I've personally argued that he should use his genitalia less during sex-scenes because I am really into the idea of him just getting off using his weird brain-worms and the power of sheer autism. Puri disagrees with me on that and I do accept that sometimes what I want is just fueled by my own 'tism rather than any sort of proper design lmao.

Gwylan is just wish-fulfillment tbh. I have a soft-spot for Witchy, weird, alternative type characters. Always did. Gwylan fills that spot perfectly. Makes me like them.

Personally not much of a Harper or Gwylan fan since I just don't interact with them much in-game; but always fun to see underrated character like Gwylan being loved!

(+Obviously I'm a fan of Kylar and Sydney, their failed childhood friendships, Kylar being a child of Auriga Worshipers, Sydney of Virgo worshipers, I like the Historical references through the Ivory Wraith, I like all of the Love Interests having their own red flags, I like Avery being a serial abuser and a commentary of how easy it is for the rich to abuse the poor and write them off as nothing more than things to be abused, used or toyed with.)

Fun fact, I didn't even know Kylar and Sydney were childhood friends until I saw a fanart depicting them as such and looked it up LMAO. And we love an old rich bastard being an entitled asshole 🫶💕

For other things I like about DoL they mostly have to do with real-world comparisons, trauma, history, etc. I've made a rather long-post about how I think about the town as a result of insularism and isolation turning a pseudo-Christian faith through it's own localized schism towards what we now have with Auriga and Virgo, aka The Children (The Cult) and The Temple, and how their increased radicalization erased the middle of the town.

I also like the commentary about how easy it is to ignore and normalize violence towards marginalized groups, something Vrel spoke about in a rather good interview from 2022.

As a whole you can see I have a very heavy focus on the worldbuilding, characters and lore, and because of my personal interest in the more realistic aspects of the game or comparing them to the real world it does cause some butting of heads due to it basically being anti-escapism.

That's a definitely another take to have on the game. I'm personally not too big of a fan for the realistic aspects in a lot of medias, most of these are escapism entertainments so we're definitely on the opposite ends of the spectrum on this matter :'D

I'm very open to discussing a lot of stuff about the game, plans and lore! For the Bailey-sex thing I did argue in favor of removing it, but that wasn't anything close to a Solo-Decision. There are 5 or more people usually involved in long-term decision making with PurityGuy and Vrelnir having the final say and veto power always.

Oh no, yeah. I think a lot of the anons have agreed that it wasn't a one-man decision. I figure most of them are more irked by your message of making fun of them. Even if it's done in a playful manner, not everyone will take it as so. Especially when they are probably already irked by the sex scene removal, your comment is like a fuel added to the fire 😔

Soft-Eden is OOC, I know a lot of people like his softer side and that's good. Not all of it will nor should be removed. Mostly the stuff to do with specific dates and going into town. I argue in favor that to not harm his character too much he should get more soft-evens down the line, especially once pregnancy content rolls in. He DOES genuinely care about PC, his actions, even putting PC in a cage and such come from a place of care and worry that unless he does these thing PC will not learn and will endanger themselves.

Thankfully the Eden stuff isn't as bad as the Morgan stuff. Morgan needs an ENTIRE rewrite.

Well I can't wait to see all Eden's rewrites and future new contents. Love me their delusional romance ass <3 Also lol, I don't know anything about Morgan, so I'm just going to take your words on that. Definitely sounds like a lot of work for y'all to do behind the scene, so best of luck on that o7

I can't comment much on the topic of Abortion in-game. It's just something we don't want to engage with. +As both cults in town (Yes tbh even the Temple is a cult), worship life and giving birth no one in town would even be willing nor able to perform it. (Yes I know this can easily be written off as just the writers being puritanical but there are just some topics we don't want in the game. It's not a pure sandbox, it's not just a life-sim. There are gonna be endings, permanent consequences, etc in the game. I think people have a right to choose what topics, fetishes, etc, they wanna engage with, and especially CREATE with as Developers, Writers, etc.)

That's a fair reason, yeah! I think if you were open about this reason being why abortion won't be in the game, it could dissuade a lot of the player's dissatisfication. The main reason why it was such a big issue is I think because no one from the dev team seems closed off about it when asked!

Another thing to note is that DoL has become HUGE, and so it's rather obvious why we'd want to steer so clear from mentions or sexualization of children. We really do mean it when we say the NPCs, LIs, etc are all adults. I'm well aware in fiction for many people anything goes. I've written Ao3 fics, I'm not entirely clueless. The dead dove has been eaten. It's chewy. But yeah, some things are just hard No because we or find it off-putting, immoral or it's outright illegal and could get people like Vrelnir in trouble. Even more so because he makes a living from DOL and donations earned through it.

That makes senses! I know a lot of commerical platforms don't allow sexual portrayal of underage or children character even in fictional context, and I have seen some notable artists being banned entirely for loli/shota contents. But it's also still fair to avoid that just cause the dev team are squicked by it. At the end of the day, it'll be rather unhealthy to create something that actively discomfort you :')

We have a Bot in the server that pings us in DMs when certain words (mostly slurs, insults etc) are mentioned and we get pinged for our names.

So people can literally *speak of the Devil* and I appear. Yes it's as funny as it sounds.

I do have to disagree with the 'evilness' that you act out. If someone is breaking the rules, as an admin, you have the right (even expectation) to moderate it! Be stern! Give out warnings, strike or a ban! But I just don't see how putting up this evil act is going to be helpful to prevent more rule breaking. It made it feels like there's no rule breaking happening because no moderation is being done, and that you're just picking on someone out of personal icks.

It's just overall off-putting, in my opinion. And bringing up contents made by users from their other social media unpromptly feels incredibly rude to me. They are all publically available, yes! But if someone were to suddenly show me an old, awful fan content I made without so much as a 'hello', it would definitely leave a bad taste to me - even if the intention are lighthearted and I know that, still won't change that it'll leave a bad impression to me.

“I– Ah,” Azariah started, needing to say something, anything to draw their conversation away from this subject. “I meant to thank you, you helped greatly with my writing.”

“Oh?” the other man asked, eyebrow rising impossibly higher. “In what way?”

“One of the characters in my latest book is– ah, works with plants, you see? All those little facts and titbits about plants came in very useful. They helped make the dialogue sound more natural.” Azariah stirred his long-cold tea just so he had something to look at that wasn’t Crowley. ‘Brilliant,’ he thought, wishing he could hide his face in his hands in a surreptitious manner. ‘Drawing the topic away from the title by talking about the book itself. what are radqueers? (Sorry I’m stupid)

Hiya nonnie. Warning that this will be very long. Please keep in mind that I am not an expert on this topic, though I have researched it quite a bit, and some information may be wrong. I encourage you to research this on your own. Also, although I am anti radqueer, I am trying to be as neutral as possible in my definition of them (which is why I didn't simply link definitions, as those are typically either very for or very against radqueers), as you have the right to form your own opinion on the subject.

"Radqueer" is a shortened version of "radical queer", and is essentially a collection of beliefs. The "🌈🍓" emoji combination (order of emojis doesn't matter) represents radqueers. Do not confuse this with the proship (which I won't be defining right now, if you want me to, send another ask) emoji combination of "🌈🍖".

TRANSIDS: Transidentities/TransIDs/Transx are quite possibly the most well-known aspect of being radqueer. They refer to any trans- label besides transgenderism, transsexuality, and, depending on who you ask, transspeciesism. TransIDs often defend themselves on the basis of "well, you can transition in gender, so why not other things?". The most well-known transID is transracialism/diarace/RCTA (Race Change to Another), where someone identifies as "a different race than they were born to" (EX: a European being identifying as Asian [transAsian]). Other transIDs include transage (identifying as a different age than you "really" are. Do not confuse this with age regression), transharmful (deliberately identifying as harmful. EX: transnazi, transyandere, transstalker), transabled (transitioning to having a specific disability, mental or physical. EX: transautism, transblind, translimp.)

MUDS: Medically Unrecognized Disorders/MUDs (unfortunate acronym, I know) are disorders that have been coined by the radqueer community. Some MUDs are based off of actual disorders. Some are totally disconnected from any medically recognized disorders.

PRO PARA: Being pro paraphilia in some way is inherent to the radqueer community. To quote Oxford Languages, a paraphilia is "a condition characterized by abnormal sexual desires". A paraphilia can be considered "non harmful" (EX: objectophilia/objectum, attraction to objects; fictophilia/fictosexuality, attraction exclusively/primarily to fictional characters), or "harmful" (EX: pedophilia, attraction to minors; zoophilia, attraction to theriform animals). Being pro para, on its own, simply means that beings with paraphilias should not be stigmatized, but it has a generally negative connotation due to contact stances.

CONTACT STANCES: Whether or not harmful paraphilias should be able to be acted upon (as in, making contact with the object of affection). This mostly boils down to whether or not the object of affection (whether it be a child, a theriform animal, or a corpse) can consent. Anti-contact means one believes the object of affection cannot consent. Complex-contact means one believes that whether or not contact should be allowed depends on the situation. Contact-neutral can mean anything from one not wanting to disclose their real contact stance to not caring. Being pro-contact means one endorses a paraphile with a harmful paraphilia making contact with their object of affection. Contact stances vary between radqueers.

It's very annoying to see how telephone game'd the Mars Climate Orbiter failure has become.

It didn't crash into Mars, it was simply too low when it went for an aerobrake pass. It definitely didn't leave "a scar that you can see from the other orbiters". Mark is probably either thinking of Beagle 2 or Mars Polar Lander, or maybe one of the more recent unmanned lunar landers (Beresheet, maybe?).

It wasn't a mixup of inches and centimeters, it was a mixup of pound force-seconds and newton-seconds.

Lockheed weren't idiots, and it's frankly insulting to all teams involved to claim so. The actual MCO mishap investigation report -- which Mark clearly either hasn't read or hasn't read thoroughly -- clearly states throughout that while the direct cause of failure was the faulty data in the Angular Momentum Desaturation modeling file (not just incorrect units, but also formatting issues and just plain errors), the root causes were multivalent:

The ops. team were understaffed and running three missions simultaneously.

Team members were inadequately trained.

Inadequate onboard navigation ("total reliant on [the] Earth-based Deep Space Network")

Contingency maneuvers that could have saved the mission, weren't taken because the teams weren't prepared (or able to prepare) for them.

End-to-end testing of the software stack, which should have been performed beforehand, never occurred.

You might notice with a sense of dramatic irony that the MCO phase I report makes a lot of recommendations for the concurrent MPL program; that mission would similarly fail less than a month after the report's publication for related reasons (not the units mixup part, the other ones).

MCO was not an isolated incident and it's frankly malpractice to ignore that (by omission or otherwise). The 90s were bad for space programs, mostly down to budget pressures. The MCO phase II report goes deep into the problems with NASA "Faster, Better, Cheaper" philosophy at the time.

Let me summarize: MCO was not a failure of software design. It was not a failure of unit conversion, either. It was a failure of project management. While the course (in)corrections were what doomed MCO directly, it was always going to be something. The team running MCO simply could not have succeeded given the conditions they were in. If it was anyone's fault, it was Congress' fault for not funding the deep space program enough.

I have a fun time making silly mundane hcs. I copy and pasted these, then changed a little, from the discord server.

Cady: Enjoy chicken wings so much more than anyone would assume she does. They’re so messy, but they’re so good. Other than that, she mostly enjoys anything. Preference for meat with a meal and really likes cake, not the biggest fan of vegetables of any kind, but will eat them if she Has to. Hates buffets. Fucking hates buffets. Also loves the most random insane candy Janis can find for her to try, unless it’s sour, won’t eat sour food.

Janis: Favourite food is burgers with everything on them, really likes salad vegetables on the burgers and sauces. She loves diner-style food, so milkshakes and fries too. Enjoys very sweet drinks, says she likes black coffee but her favourite is frappes that barely have any coffee in them. Probably drinks an excess of monster energy too. Also cannot cook even a little bit. Unless it’s noodles.

Damian: Loves pizza but will mostly eat anything. He and Janis go to a specific diner all the time and it’s theirs and they always order the same thing. He’s similar in preference to Janis with drinks, but doesn’t like coffee and chocolate together. Often has candy bars or granola bars or little bags of candy in his bag at any given time for either himself, Janis or Cady.

Regina: Canonically likes cheese fries. These are the only things she’d eat in school. Mostly sticks to salads when she’s out with other people for a long time until she’s more comfortable. Enjoys yoghurts but not Greek yoghurt because it just doesn’t taste right. Drinks iced coffees with occasional sugar free vanilla syrup. Enjoys frozen fruit over non-frozen fruit as a little treat. Struggles a lot with eating enough and never has good food in the house because of her mom.

Karen: Very sensory seeking when it comes to foods and loves things that have texture to them. So she eats a lot of salads with iceberg lettuce, baby carrots etc. Enjoys candy a lot too, but nothing that’s too sticky or sticks to her mouth like caramel. Hates pastas that aren’t al dente or rawer and cannot stand lasagne ever at all. If the sauce is too much, she won’t eat it. Doesn’t really enjoy coffee or any hot drinks, but sometimes might drink a milkshake.

Gretchen: Really loves pasta. Loves pasta so much. She especially loves white sauces over marinara type sauce and eats it with garlic bread or breadsticks. Gets cesear salads often, but isn’t actually the biggest fan of them, she just eats them. Not a big drinker of sweet drinks and coffee makes her more anxious, but she still drinks it if she has to. Probably enjoys iced herbal teas when she gets around to trying them. Snacks mostly on plain nuts and bland chips, foods with too much flavour make her feel too much sometimes.

Aaron: Bland. He eats soups a lot, they’re easy to make and easy to eat. As well as grilled cheeses, sometimes some plain pasta and cheese, and he orders lasagna when he’s out. Quite good at cooking, but not great at baking, but he will make chocolate chip cookies sometimes. Mostly drinks water and occasionally coke or hot coffee, doesn’t drink it cold. Much like Gretchen, too strong of flavours make him feel too much. Sticks just to crackers if things are really bad because other food will make him nauseous.

Idk why I haven’t posted these before, it’s not solid hcs, it’s just the general vibes of what they enjoy. Feel free to ask for elaboration!

I ain’t gonna lie, these past couple of weeks since I’ve talked more with other Mahito fans in a Discord server, I’ve grown to love Junpei Yoshino more than I did before. (All thanks to @ebbing-terror)

When I first watched JJK Episode 9 when he and Mahito first appeared, I did love Junpei, but I didn’t care TOO MUCH about his character. However, I do relate to him when it comes to bullying and being hyperfixated over an interest (and understandably hating school and humans for A LOT of reasons), which are part of why I liked him and his reserved personality. I did felt bad when Mahito killed him, but I still think he was so stupid and naive for falling for him like that. (Poor boy doesn’t know any better to trust his instincts… 🥺) LOL

NOW… I love Junpei even more to the point where I came up with an AU where he’s still alive and I ship him with my heart demon cursed spirit OC who is now named Kuroai Shoshin (NOTE: Aiko and Kuroai are not blood related. They are a curse species of Heart Demons like how animals are.) She didn’t have a name at first when I first drew her because Kuroai wasn’t important to what I have in mind headcanonically for JJK and my OCs (Mostly cursed spirit OCs, Aiko, Noguri, and Umiyuu).

**The black-red heart demon cursed spirit is Kuroai Shoshin! 🫀🖤 The other two are still considered! And of course, bottom girl is Aiko Shoshin (Heian Aiko before she got rebirthed).**

In this AU, Kuroai got summoned and rebirthed by someone who was messing with another copy of “The Forbidden Book of Heart Demons” (Like what Geto did to summon and rebirth Aiko). The guy wanted to summon a heart demon for the sake of a “better replacement than finding a real woman” (Eventually he got killed because Kuroai dislikes his personality, his nasty smell, and overall, everything about him). Ever since then, she’s been running around the cities of Japan (Mostly Tokyo, which I assume is where Junpei lives at) to run away from the overwhelming encounters of humans and in a secluded area where Junpei was alone, that’s when she first met Junpei (while in a maid dress because I think it’s a funny idea). Ever since that day, she’s obsessively in love and seductive over him (She loves shy, timid, weak, nerdy/geeky boy losers who would submit to her dominant and teasing behavior. She finds them cute and it’s her type of man.) Junpei eventually got to know her and understand her better, introduced her to his interests in movies, and he’s used to her teasing/bullying him (Not like the kind of bullying from his school, but more like flirtatious teasing). He also doesn’t mind teaching and explaining to Kuroai how do humans do things. Since Kuroai is a cursed spirit, she’s not gonna obviously know everything, unless her cute little loser, Junpei teaches her the ways of how humans do things. (To clarify, Kuroai hates humans as much as Junpei does, but she trust him because she can sense that he’s different... And she knows he’s her type. ;3 🖤 She also teases/bullies him like how Nagatoro bullies her senpai).

Anyways, I just thought of rambling about my Junpei x Kuroai JJK AU since I’m starting to love Junpei more than before and one of my Heart Demon OCs is into weak humans who are shy, timid, and nerdy/geeky so I just thought it’d be cute to ship them in an AU in JJK (Also to clarify: Mahito and Aiko are still together in this AU, but Aiko is unaware that her old friend is rebirthed nor does she remember anything about her unless she touches her to regain her memories of associating with Kuroai back in the Heian period. Kuroai has a strong memory so she remembers Aiko and knows mostly everything about her even if she looks different. However, in this AU, Kuroai doesn’t forgive her for agreeing with Sukuna’s orders on challenging Aiko’s love for him by dealing with him emotionally and mentally. Therefore, she wants rebirth Aiko dead because she thought she was the reason that heart demons are extinct in the Jujutsu world, when really Sukuna was the one who wiped their species entirely).

I always envisioned Morgan as a fan of Gothic literature, actually! :D While he does mostly read wizard authors, he also has gotten his hands on quite a few muggle books as well. I think Edgar Allan Poe and Oscar Wilde made quite an impression on him. He definitely enjoyed Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson as well.

As for his illness, I had mentioned the symptoms before in a Discord server a while back, (so I just had copy pasted the list below but edited + added some stuff given it's from a few months ago)but never shared them here so-

In short, he used to have serious heart/blood issues as a child, but thanks to his uncle's treatments, he managed to stabilize Morgan's disease, so now his issues are mostly resembling of anemia, although pretty manageable. Not to mention he receives treatment for his issues (such as potions) so he has better days when he's feeling pretty well and can do things like every normal person would. But he either sometimes skips his meds (bc he forgor 💀) or experiences complications even with the meds so sometimes has days when he feels worse than usual (sometimes so sick can't even leave his bed)

• Has weak immune system and often falls sick, usually to flu or other infectious diseases. If there's an epidemic of something in Hogwarts, he definitely has it and it would usually take him a lot longer to recover.

• Low blood pressure, often experiences drops of it

• Often has episodes of little appetite, which doesn't help with his low weight and low blood sugar (which also worsens his drops of blood pressure)

•Often finds himself feeling dizzy, nauseous and light headed. It's not uncommon for him to faint or be on verge of fainting (Has a lot of issues in potions class for this reason, bc the fumes and strong smells affect him a lot)

• While not as severe as in his early childhood, he still often experiences heart palpitations and chest pains. Sometimes they get so bad he can't even stand. Also experienced muscle pains and headaches on occasions.

•It's also not uncommon for him to feel short of breath, fatigued or even exhausted.

• Has a bit of sleep issues, either sleeping a lot more than average person would (has a tendency to fall asleep during classes) or having episodes of insomnia.

• Gets frequent nosebleeds

• Gets bruises easily, often has quite a few of them on his body

• Has cold hands and feet

• Feels really really bad in hot weather

Hi! Glad for the curiosity, I'm always down to dump info when invited, like some autistic vampire.

So, one of the disappointing things is that a lot of the community is, politically, a mess, and pursuing resources usually means hearing things from folks who aren't accepting of things like pride flags, and often let that slip in their content, best you can usually hope for is them not saying it out loud.

I don't want that to be a discouraging thing, because the only way that changes is if enough folks look past that in order to get involved.

Of course I would recommend the Pride Radio Group, we're mostly a discord server to chat about radio stuff and ask questions among eachother, but this way you know you're with an accepting crowd.

Youtube-wise, I can at least say that Josh of Ham Radio Crash Course is as good as it gets for big youtubers. At least on not feeling uncomfortable listening.

Of course there's books and such, there's the ARRL license manuals, KB6NU's "No Nonesense" license manual (pdf copy for entry-level license is free).

And there's hamstudy.org's flashcards for license studying.

I hope this is a good starting point, there's a long rabbit-hole to go down. I'm trying to keep it short for now.

idk you but discord server if you can remmeber to delete the pics after you upload them is the best… because it’s cross device and has the best search ability - if I like the dialogue a lot I type it out + characters… The search function is seriously the best bc of searching in specific channels and by date…. Can also go to gallery mode to scroll through attachments quickly in a similarly way to a phones photo album. If I didn’t have discord I think I would just make a sideblog and post caps to that with a good tagging system

Initial Bloodmoon Thoughts - New vs Old

Disclaimer, this ramble/analysis was made 01/11/2024 and is copy-pasted from the original (me) source on Discord in TSBS server. I have a thread there. There are a few ss of the original thread for when other people came into the conversation.

Thoughts under the cut.

My brain is stuck on BM. I remember how angry everyone was with Earth for saying that she didn't think they could be redeemed because she's supposed to be the "therapist" character but like She's just as much a person as the other animatronics and just because she's "understanding" doesn't mean she has to be forgiving of her literal murderer, I can imagine dying messes a person up (we all saw how Lunar handled it) And where she has to be perfect, she has to be the better bigger person, it's part of her code to always take the moral high ground and turn the other cheek so to speak I'd bet you money she is compartmentalizing the heck out of life So no, I don't blame her for not wanting anything to do with Bloodmoon and thinking he's beyond saving If someone killed me I would write them off too

However Sun on the other hand I'm mostly just crouchy that he's being a spineless cunt He was willing to argue with Moon about BM because he knew that they couldn't help it But he's not saying anything about Eclipse and I'm so grrr Like I get it, Eclipse was kinda crappy, but you aren't stepping back and looking at this rationally Sun, and someone needs to step back and look at it rationally because Moon is way too emotional and always has been, and Sun feeds off of his brother's anxiety and always has

It feels like a double standard on the Celestial Twin's part (cause it is lmao)

"He can't help it, it's all he knows" For Bloodmoon And then "I'm gonna torture that inserts insult" For Eclipse like come on He hasn't even done anything (yet) I can understand why Moon would be more understanding towards BM than Eclipse, but it doesn't mean I have to like it

I've said it once and I will say it time and time again Eclipse is the product of an unhospitable environment that was left to his own devices long enough that he drowned in his own self-loathing and the only anchor that he could perceive was taking that out on those around him All of the Eclipse issues could have been solved if one: Old Moon treated him as more than just a parasite And two: Sun had a single thought in that pretty little head that wasn't just an echo of Moon's

I love Sun to death, don't get me wrong I loathe the fact that even now, with a 'new' Moon, he is still just going along with everything Moon says and decides upon He does not think for himself The one time he did, the one time he tried to escape Moon's hands around his choices, what happened? He failed to kill Eclipse and was goaded into destroying Moon's magic Which did what? ding ding ding Only reaffirmed his prior belief that he's A screw-up, stupid, the dumb one, incapable, unreliable And that Moon is Correct, the smart one, capable, and the one who should be trusted with decisions Which is so so so bad for Sun's psyche

Whereas with Bloodmoon, Sun and Moon cannot seem to get over this idea that he's "like the old Moon he can't help it we understand" Sure, Bloodmoon has a want to kill that is so strong it feels like a need And so did the old Moon But that's where the similarities end They fail to take into consideration bloodmoon's feelings when they talk about 'redeeming him' As well as his origins They only see the surface value because they've already written him off And yeah, bloodmoon is awful Bloodmoon is an awful awful creature who has done horrible things to the celestial family And his instincts do not excuse his behavior However, I hesitate to write him off for similar reasons I won't write Eclipse off He's a product of his environment and Ruin's crappy programming (Not that Ruin is bad at programming, per say, more that Ruin only programmed him in what he thought would make BM a good tool, which leaves out a lot of higher cognitive functions.) As we've already seen, this BM is a lot dumber than the first BM when it comes to rationalizing and recognizing issues past the immediate here and now in specifically their bubble

I think, and this is just a theory, but I think that Sun was thinking of the old BM when he was trying to get through to the BM now. Because the old BM was a lot more complex, a lot smarter, and was able to rationalize with others. This one isn't. This one is vey obviously missing very large chunks of development and personality, and I don't know if it would be kinder to just straight up put him down or try to reprogram him. The issue with reprogramming him is it might break him beyond what he already is. Or it might cause a similar crisis that Moon has when he thinks about "old moon". Not the same, of course, but similar. Or it may just completely erase BM entirely because the celestial idiots have no idea what he was like before Sun killed him past what they see on the surface. So if they were to go the reprogramming route, they'd have to turn to dun dun dun Eclipse Because even if old BM and Eclipse weren't on the best of terms, Eclipse would be able to fix what is missing because he knows the missing peices. Now of course, this only works if it's Eclipse 1.0 or 2.0. If the Eclipse we have now is Eclipse 3.0 then he can't do crap unless the entirety of the BM schematics were in the files Ruin stole, that Eclipse then stole back. And even then, he still can't fully get it if he's Eclipse 3.0 because he's missing the memories of what BM was like. So, with all of that complication, at this point it's easier (not necessarily right) to just put him down. He's dangerous, right? (Rhetorical)

Past Sun's POV on BM, I get the feeling that Moon let Sun try to rationalize with BM because, in Moon's mind, BM and Old Moon are basically the same person. Maybe even KC too. An irrational need to kill is embedded in their codes, and they are powerless to stop it, etc etc. And Moon was probably thinking, "Well, Old me and KC both managed to fight their instincts, so surely BM can too." He fails to recognize that BM doesn't have a support system. Old Moon had Sun, and he was friends with the other animatronics as well. Old Moon also had a best friend, Monty. Monty isn't the best influence, but he is still a friend. And Sun was a good influence on Old Moon. Killcode had a good influence too. He had Sun, Glamrock Freddy, and to an extent, Moon. He had a reason to hold back his violent urges, it would be counterproductive to lash out at old BM and Eclipse 2.0 when they were his allies. Acting on said urges outside of the area would also be counterproductive bc that could endanger the host of the body he was sharing, which would end his own life as well.

BM 2.0 has… no one. Ruin was a bad influence. The stitchwraith was a bad influence. Rodrick was a bad influence. Ruin was manipulating them by being kind, so of course BM 2.0 is going to react poorly to kindness and compassion. It is, in their eyes, just another ploy to make him a tool. He can't trust a helping hand because the first kind hands in his life were lying to him. When you wake up, and all that you know is kindness being a mask, that's what you expect from everyone. And when you're offered help, you react poorly and with hatred because you are expecting to be used just like the person you trusted used you. The only reason he let Solar help him was because Solar was upfront with his intentions, and didn't try to sugarcoat it or play 'friends'. He knew that it was a situation in which they would be taking advantage of each other, but the key there was he knew. Ruin literally destroyed his psyche in the worst ways possible by programming him to be a tool, only showing him the parts of the show that were beneficial to Ruin's plans, and using kindness to manipulate him. BM has every right to be angry and distrustful because the person he considered family was the person who broke him beyond repair. And Sun and Moon don't understand that because they don't understand psychology. Earth may have been able to understand (therapist coding), but BM purposefully made her hate them (perhaps to avoid the kindness they know she gives everyone?). Out of all of the people they could have attacked, they attacked the one person who could have puzzled them out. At this point, the only hope for BM is either Eclipse or a literal miracle.

Okay so I’ve been thinking about Bloodmoon and my earlier statement of “At this point, the only hope for BM is either Eclipse or a literal miracle.” I’d like to rescind that statement to add the potential of Solar Flare since there is talk of bringing him back. I’ll elaborate once I get to my computer, but my mind is buzzing with the idea and the logic that would allow it to work. Because on the surface one squints and goes “And Alex is crazy talking again” But it will make sense once I explain how it could work

So Flare We love Flare I love Flare Flare

Flare has been known for a few things in the show. He's a tool. He was made to protect Killcode. He has limited emotional capacity. He's basically a super computer with a consciousness. He's an absolute beast of an animatronic, and is probably the most dangerous person we have seen on the show. He's also upfront, honest, non-deceptive, and has never shown a preference towards one side or the other. Nor is he friendly. He's not unfriendly, but he doesn't go out of his way to be nice. He gave Moon the schematics to the satellite because it was in KC's best interest, not because he liked Moon or hated Eclipse. There could honeslty be debate on if he's even capable of liking or disliking things, considering how emotionally incapable he is. He's very logical, analytical, etc.

So how does Bloodmoon 2.0 factor into this?

Well, as stated earlier, BM doesn't want kindness. He doesn't want pity, he doesn't want niceness. Flare wouldn't extend him those to start with, so that's one thing crossed off the list. Flare would also be upfront with BM about his intentions, he did straight up tell Eclipse he was helping to kill him, although he omitted the way he was planning to do that. So Flare wouldn't be trying to manipulate BM either. Bloodmoon may also feel some kind of companionship purely from the fact they were both made to be tools. Flare has no need to be loyal to the celestial twins or to Eclipse. I can see him going rogue like KC did. It wouldn't be unplausable that he would seek out BM purely since the twins were considered by KC to be family. And since there isn't a Killcode anymore for Flare to look after, his sons may be the next best thing, even if it isn't BM 1.0. Flare doesn't give a crap, honestly. He can defend himself, but he's also able to just sit there and take a hit. It's unlikely the twins would even be able to damage him were they to try to attack him. He'd probably be able to just let them wear themselves out until they are tired enough they can just be picked up like kittens and taken care of. Due to his stubborn nature mixed with the apathy we've seen displayed, I can see him able to help the twins because he's not gonna just "give up" on them. He can sit back and let them run themselves ragged and then do what he has to once they're all tired out. It wouldn't be the kind of redemption we're used to seeing in the show, and would probably not be a total redemption, but he may be able to tame them enough that they can be handled and fixed by the others. Flare taming BM twins and then reuniting with Eclipse so he can fix them? Interesting thought. Bring the family back together.

Obviously, I'm not saying this is even likely to happen. This won't happen, of course. But it could, in a different universe, I suppose. This was just to serve the purpose of explaining how Flare would be able to help the twins tbh.

Flare is too smart and apathetic to get hung up by a detail like that (in my opinion based off of my observation of him). He’d be pretty quick to piece together that the twins killed KC because they were manipulated into perceiving the older animatronic as a threat. (Once again Ruin why did you have to break them like that). Kinda like how they wanted to kill Monty (maybe still do?) because Ruin talked them into believing that Monty was a threat. Not, not a physical threat, but an emotional one. He (ruin) leaned on the fact that BM was “tricked” in the past by the people that Ruin saw as obstacles to convince BM to take them out

Pair that with volatile emotions and aggressive tendencies and you get a red goblin on a murder spree to avenge BM 1.0 more or less. I don’t think Flare would hold that against him cause he’s always been good at tearing through people’s psyches and finding the root motivations and issues.

And for BM 2.0 those issues and motivations both stem from Ruin’s manipulation

The thing is, I don’t think Flare really cared about KC. For him, it seemed more like protecting KC was just a protocol. Kinda like the protocol to kill for Moon 1.0. It’s just something that he was supposed to do. Which is just further reason why the twins killing KC wouldn’t be a hang-up for him

I haaaaave... far too many.

In terms of like. Me straight up rewriting lore (LOL), there's my "Levi was the representative of the virtue of Kindness in the Celestial Realm" - you can read a little bit about that here :]

Speaking of that, though, I also feel. Quite strongly (negatively) about canon's 'Anime Existed 4,000 Years Ago' thing, so I threw that out, also. Instead, I like to think Levi was big into other things- mostly older forms of theatre and collecting little clay statues/trinkets from shipwrecks/etc. Things that can easily work with/lead into her being an otaku in modern era :]

-Mentioned it before, but I think she used to have some sort of webpage of her own. In my head she had a Geocities before it shut down. She uses Neocities now and has way way way too many shrine pages (it's awesome)

-Big Pokémon fan (of course...) - I imagine her favorite generation is Gen 3, then 4. Diehard fan of the Mystery Dungeon series also.

-Mods a couple of Discord servers (sorry her Discord mod aura is too powerful). One’s a TSL server, the other one is just a generic catch-all anime server. She’s in the official Ruri-chan discord but was passed up for a mod position, which she’s still kinda seething with rage about. The generic anime server has a couple of people on the mod team she doesn’t like and often complains about. The TSL server is fine though no problems 👍

-Considered becoming a streamer (VTuber) at one point, but decided against it, for multiple reasons. Though she still likes the avatar design she came up with and uses it as a mascot for her blogs and such- the character’s a jersey maid shark girl named Misty O’Sea (lol). Haven't drawn her myself yet but I HAVE picrew'd her for fun - just imagine she has like. Shark teeth. Shark tail. You know

-For the above I think she's also a self-shipper and likes self-shipping with both Henry (TSL) and her oc Misty, primarily. She has both a boyfriend and a girlfriend isn't that great! And me. And me I'm here too. I'm h

-l put her "human age equivalent" as like 28-29. Or specifically she will turn 29 this year.

-A... Age regressor... probably around an older age range unless really stressed out. Sometimes a girl just needs to go baby mode and play with toys OK!!!

Here’s a copy and paste rant from months ago!! I did this rant on a discord server so it’s pretty messy…

TW: mentions of su!cide And abuse

I don’t even know how to start but like the representation of mental health in Kagepro is amazing. I’ll start this off with like Jin doesn’t directly tell you “hey this character has this” but you just know the character has it. With Kano you know he has a compulsive lying disorder (along with some other things) because of how his music video represents it and the lyrics to his song + all the events and feelings he went through in the 5th LN. You actually get a representation (at least I haven’t seen this in like any other series) of being abused physically and emotionally, kanos mom used to abuse him physically, but a couple hours later come back crying and apologizing and it would repeat, but he didn’t think it was her fault and he loved her so much. It was only mentioned like twice in the LNs and he was really little when it happened but it’s still such a strong form of a lot of abuse that happens, not just the “I abuse my child, I feel no regret and my child hates me” type thing. Then Kano blaming himself so much for ayanos death he blames someone else for it (this ties in with survivors guilt kinda.) he also deals with getting manipulated….I can rant on abt kano but there’s other characters. We’ll go with Shintaro, obviously it’s known he has depression that’s just like there, but the representation of trauma he gets is SO GOOD. Again Jin doesn’t just go like “hey Shintaro has trauma.” But you just know he does because of the amount of representation. LTM he gets a couple of flashbacks to things, but things that aren’t just like “haha trauma is only abuse and witnessing something horrifying”. LTM and Shintaro represent that perfectly, and also him blaming himself for Ayanos suicide (survivors guilt/just guilt that comes along with trauma). Then also getting nightmares from trauma, like even if a lot of them are just Yaki talking to him in his dreams it’s still such a good representation. Also him pushing everything else away just to not forget Ayano. In the LNR Kano turns into Ayano, all the feelings Shintaro once had when he was with Ayano before came back, and he was afraid she hated him. I can go more on Shintaro but again other characters. Momo having a craving for attention when she was little because Shintaro was so much more intelligent than her. Even though she had parents who loved them both equally, she still felt not good enough, mostly mentioned in mr2, but she directly tells Shintaro she’s going to learn how to swim before him so she can be better than him in something, while not having a hateful feeling towards Shintaro. Then also mentioned in mr2 and the anime she has survivors guilt, thinking it was her fault her dad died. Then Seto in the LN route. Because he wanted to protect someone or not let go of someone so much he ended up trying to neglect and forget everyone else he loves, him thinking what if no one loved him all this time, basically running away from all his problems, and at the end of the route scared everyone would be mad at him for feeling the way he was feeling. In mr2 Seto felt helpless saying it was always like this and he can’t do anything to help, basically blaming himself for not being able to help anyone. He’s such a mess in the LNR I love him sm…..

Hibiya obviously has trauma and survivors guilt. In Otsukimi Recital he has tons of flashbacks even when he’s trying to be cheered up. Going to the park but getting flashbacks to Hiyori at the park, seeing Momo pet a cat and getting flashbacks to Hiyori petting the cat, etc. Blaming himself for not being able to save Hiyori as Hiyoris still “dead” and stuck in a loop.

Ayano with loneliness as seen in additional memory. She’s alone in the daze, and she misses everyone. But she KNOWS she had to do it, she sacrificed her health for everyone else’s even though she had to watch it do nothing in the end.

Ayano So desperately wishes to be the person everyone relies on, she loathes in it. If she can’t save anyone, what’s the point of her being there in the first place?

Haruka and Takane deal with diseases. Takane has a sleeping disorder and it makes her faint randomly, can be fatal. Haruka has a disease (most likely a heart disease) that is very fatal.

Haruka deals with things like wanting to be stronger because of his illness, feeling that sense of loneliness because he can’t physically be strong enough to do certain things, and having to visit the hospital frequently. But he wants to be himself (shown in anime.) In mr2 he deals with loneliness as everyone at school ignores him, he doesn’t have any friends but he still tries to be happy. In the hospital he finally makes a friend, he meets Takane. Takane has to leave but Haruka is stuck in the hospital due to his illness, but later Shintaro is taken to the hospital and Haruka becomes really good friends with him. But he has frequent nightmares abt Takane.

Takane deals with bottling up her emotions and feelings, she also deals with survivors guilt, thinking it’s her fault Haruka died. She was so caught up in her own pride she ignored him, she didn’t notice when he passed out from his illness. In mr2, she also doesn’t have any friends until Haruka. she deals with jealousy as well. She comes back after leaving the hospital to visit Haruka, even bringing gifts with her. But she sees Haruka and Shintaro playing video games together and laughing and stuff (btw she introduced Haruka to video games and played them all the time with him). She ran out of the hospital jealous and ended up committing su!cide

Even tho Ene is the same person as Takane, she deals with way different things in route xx and mr2. In route xx, she does her absolute best to try and not let Shintaro commit suicide, she does her best to distract him and does everything she can. She has to bottle up everything with Haruka, and keep everything from Shintaro. She’s afraid if she even brings up that she used to know Shintaro, it’ll give Shintaro bad memories of Ayano and the past. Yet she STILL tries her best to make Shintaro happy and distract him. She ends up failing, getting deleted and watching Shintaro kill himself. Plus she has to deal with her teacher literally being the one planning their deaths like??? (Even tho it’s technically not her teacher but yeah). Then in mr2 she admits she was running away from all her problems to shintaro, and says that Shintaro saved her as much as she saved him. (Ene and Shintaro stuff makes me AUGH)
