Hi this month is Facial pain awareness month. Which includes trigeminal neuralgia and anesthesia dolorosa.

Trigeminal neuralgia specifically has it's international awareness day on the 7th of October.

My goal is to make these conditions more known.

It's about the most painful pain to humans yet barely spoken about and almost no one knows it.

I would love it if people would talk about it, share about it..

Lately, it feels like my body is waging a war I never enlisted in, every nerve and muscle fighting to out-scream the other. The fatigue is a weight I can’t put down, dragging me through days that feel like endless uphill climbs. Pain has settled into my bones like an unwelcome tenant, refusing to leave no matter how much I beg. Even the smallest tasks- brushing my hair, standing too long, existing- feel like monumental battles. I’m exhausted in ways I can’t explain, and some days, the fight to keep going feels like it might be too much.

Trigeminal neuralgia is strong tonight. Shooting pain through the left side of my face every couple of minutes. Feels like I have a nail digging into the same spot on the top of my head. Hoping it dissipates overnight.

the fact that it's been 40 weeks since i've developed lockjaw and 10 weeks since i've developed severe nerve pain in my face and i still have to travel to MORE hospitals because

1. they can't do anything for me and

2. they have no idea why i have an eye twitch and facial pain.

I'm just going to straight out ask for help. I'm broke as hell and can't work. I don't know how long disability will take to be approved, and the tdap isn't at all enough. Dad and I can barely make ends meet or save for anything we need (like dentures for him). And pain management doesn't come cheap for me.

If you've got the money to spare, I'd appreciate it so much. I've got art and writing on my Instagram (recent, mostly) and deviantART (older works) accounts, and I want to make more. But money has me too stressed to focus, so I can't easily create anything.

This was entirely hand drawn, and colored with colored pencils. I have very, very little digital art, my medium has always been traditional by hand. I don't paint much, but I want to get into it more. The only writing on Instagram is poetry, but I have stories on deviantart. Keep in mind, that's mostly much older stuff, and I've said things in years long past that I feel deeply uncomfortable with now.

Hope everyone is having at least a decent day. And if not, I hope it gets better soon.

I think I should start smoking oui regularly again. The pain meds are nice but I don’t want to get too fond of them. Fehck can’t always be trusted with western medicine.
