Back to the library tonight…:( I will be working on cell biology and my group project that my group member is much less excited about. I plan to listen to Bill Burr now that I have memorized all of John Mulaney to make me laugh through my evening.

3.13.19 // started off the day by slipping outside my house and spilling hot tea on my face 🥵 but all and all the day was pretty good! I had my future physician class today and I’ll leave something with you that one of our speakers said that really resonated with me. “You aren’t studying to memorize the pathways and to do well on the tests. You are studying because you are going to need that information when you’re going to treat patients”.

Change it up so it applies to you and LIVE IT because it’s so true. Hopefully it helps your Wednesday evening motivation. I love you awesome nerds.

Sitting at my desk watching the snow coming down is the perfect end to a very long week. Bought some new storage boxes and the most gorgeous rhubarb candle that has made my entire house smell like sweets.

I’m trying to perfect my personal statement before I submit my application for an LLM that focuses on human rights, so I’m reading through my old International Human Rights notes from undergrad. Although it feels like a lifetime ago, I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I still remember!

2.25.19 // to 🐝 honest, this week has not been the greatest. I didn’t do as well on my tests as I had hoped and I’m very behind on grading for the class I TA. But... trying to remember that self-care is what keeps us going during the long nights of memorization, reading, calculations, etc. etc etc.. For me, that means my 10 minutes of sudoku puzzles (that some may have said equates me to a 60 year old woman) at 1:00 am so I can regain my sanity and remember what life outside of OneNote and Quizlet is.

2.20.19 // Where has February gone?? Feeling super far behind but just finished my ochem 2 exam and it wasn’t too bad so there’s a little win for the day!

There’s a blizzard outside and I’m LIVING for it. My next two classes are canceled because the profs can’t make it to campus so now my day is completely free to catch up on things that I put on the back burner to study for exams. Working on my personal Spotify study playlist to share so come back for that because who doesn’t like finding new music they love?

2.18.19 // a late night with the essentials to get me through. These next couple days are going to be super busy but that’s just another reason to work on studying more efficiently. So far I’m holding it together pretty well for 2019 😋

2.17.19 🌜Never thought I’d be at a point in my life where I went to the doctor hoping to walk out with an antibiotic prescription. Oh well, just gotta fight this virus and ochem exam on my own :)

It’s that night shift time of the night so that I can get my beauty rest and prep for a long day in the library tomorrow. Physiology and Ochem study guides coming soon to a tumblr near you.
