i looked on Google Maps because I was curious where it was, and it would’ve been taken on US-287 South in Childress, TX some time between 2018 and 2023
because that yellow sign replaced a white sign between 2018 and 2021, and the green sign in the background was removed some time between 2022 and 2023

annual renewal was in 3 days
despite all the “never pay disney a cent” stuff i see, i had no plans of cancelling that because i watch tons of stuff on there and my family uses it, and honestly the extra steps to obtain a movie through “other means” are just enough that I won’t bother watching it
but this is blatant transphobia and they are being political by pulling this instead of not being political by letting all stories be told.
and in the questionnaire after cancelling, i told them exactly why. i even removed the “fuck you” from the end to increase the chances of it being seen.
but in case disney reads this version, fuck you
and i’m not coming back even if they do something to repair this one thing like putting it back.
because somewhere out there is a trans kid (probably quite a few even) who was going to watch this and realize that there were people like them or their concerns were valid, and maybe this would be the final piece needed to push them over the edge to not killing themself, and disney just killed them for profit.
some people might call that a stretch, but disney is a huge company and their decisions have real impacts like that, and to pretend otherwise is disingenuous.
the kids this decision kills are never coming back, and we need to show them that there is a similar impact on their bottom line because that’s all these greedy fucks care about.
so anyone else who is still holding onto a disney plus subscription bc of convenience or whatever, i implore you to join me and cancel your account for good.

What makes me so mad about Disney not officially releasing this Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is went trough a lot of filters to even exist in the first place just for probably some higher ups on Disney being afraid of “backlash” because of politics, what can expect from that bitch ass company for real

the number of posts i see on here with thousands of notes that are very clearly fake posts advertising dropshipped garbage.
if they’re not obvious to you, the format is usually:
they say just found the coolest lamp, or the cutest earrings, or the funniest t shirt or whatever
then there’s one or more pictures of a product. sometimes there are multiple variations or similar products. they’re usually very good and flattering photos, clearly from a product listing
then the tell of this kind of spam is that after the photos they’ll say something like “for everyone asking where i got them, i found them here” and have a link to a store
this is the clear tell because this is still in the original post, and yet they’re pretending to respond to people asking for a link. in reality, nobody asked, the point of the post is to share to link to the scam store.
usually the store is set up to look like it could be some indie thing where they’re making and selling the products, but everything on there is just dropshipped stuff that you can find on other websites.
A good way to check this is to google the listing name and links will come up on Amazon, Temu, Ali Express, etc
They are usually listed with a huge markup on those sites too compared to elsewhere, and when you look at the reviews on Amazon for example, you’ll see that if it’s not a straight-up bait and switch, the picture will have been extremely flattering and the real product will look awful.
